Hi! I’m new(ish) to Sydney and am hoping to find someone fun, considerate and reliable to team up with. I’m currently living in Potts Point and want to stay around here... Elizabeth Bay, Rushcutters, Paddington etc. Either furnished or unfurnished, preferably with my own bathroom, and am open to 6 months to 1 year or more... depends how it all works out I guess! Preferably would like to live with someone about my age with a similar career mindset and who is pretty social... I’m outgoing, independent, like my space but also love to go out for dinner, drinks, shows etc. I’m not one for cooking (I eat out a lot) but I actually enjoy cleaning if that helps! I have a good job, am a considerate and friendly housemate and I expect the same. Msg me if you think we might be a match ☺️ Ali
PLEASE ONLY CONTACT ME IF YOU LIVE IN THE HOUSE.... I don’t want to hear from people trying to cram as many people into houses they own but don’t live in. PLEASE ONLY CONTACT ME IF YOU HAVE OFF STREET PARKING.... my profile clearly states this need so I am not interested in street parking If you meet these criteria, please read on. Hey, I'm Bec. I am a full time high school teacher in the Inner West and I currently commute a crazy distance to get there. I have lived in the area before and it's time to move back and regain some hours in my life. Due to the nature of my work, I am not home during the day time and am quite busy in school term. I usually like to come home to a relaxed setting, where sharing a glass of wine or few with dinner or TV is welcomed, but reasonable sleeping hours are also respected. I have shared houses in Australia and overseas, with friends, randoms, males, females, mixed nationalities, ages etc and have never missed a rent payment or a cleaning schedule. Ideally, I require a large-ish room, built ins and off-street parking. I am past the student life (been there, done that ... twice over) so I am being picky... please don't contact me if your room on offer is an expensive shoe box. I have a queen bed, a bookcase, a desk and then some clothes that require a built in wardrobe. Let me know if you can help me out or have any questions. Looking forward to meeting some new housemates and hopefully, friends. Bec :)
Hi! I'm relocating to Sydney early July for a new job and looking for a private room close to Sydney CBD. I'm an Aus citizen (Singaporean background), will be working full time in a hotel in the city. I have experience living in a shared house and am very responsible, quiet, considerate, easy-going, clean and tidy- will always pay rent/bills on time! Non smoker, non drinker, definitely not a party animal- I work shifts/long hours so on off days I like to chill at home, read, Netflix or go for brunch. I enjoy my private time and space and will respect yours too however I would love to have flatmates I get along well with and share the occasional meal/movie night. Preferably female roommates only. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hiya! My name's Kim and I'm from the UK. I am looking for two rooms in total. One for me and my boyfriend (Tom), and one for my friend (Libby). We are looking to find somewhere from the 30/06/2018 up until 31/08/2018. Ideally we are looking for a 2 bed flat but we are all very friendly so we wouldn't say no to a nice sociable house either. I work Monday-Friday in CBD and will spend my weekends unwinding and exploring what Sydney has to offer. Collectively we enjoy going to gigs, having a few beers and getting to know people. We are respectful of people’s things, their privacy and like to keep things nice and tidy. Xx
Looking to move out roughly by the end of June. I'm clean, really chill and usually down for a drink after work. Self-acclaimed spectacular cook, and if you don't find me in the kitchen you'll likely find me on my computer or at the gym. Feel free to message me, Jack
Hi! My name is Judith. I'm 19 years old and I'm from the Netherlands. Me and two friend are looking for a nice apartment with 2/3 bedrooms. We're planning to stay and work for 4 to 6 months in Sydney. Let me know if you have something for us! :)
American surfer working full time in tech in North Sydney. Looking for a place next to the beach as I don't yet have a car. Likes to have a good time, but doesn't bring the party home. Looking for laid back roommates who wouldn't mind occasionally grabbing a beer.
Clean and easy going. Currently working in fashion internships and at a bar/distillery. From the US, have lived in Sydney for 3 months with family. Attempting to find full-time fashion job to get sponsored.
VERY CLEAN AND TIDY. We have been fortunate to have our own places and cleanliness has always been priority for the both of us. Now that the time has come to move out, we are in search of respectable flatmates and a new place to call our home. Apart from than that, we are really cool and down to earth peeps! I am originally from America and my girlfriend is from the UK. We love culture and like to keep active. We usually like to keep it mellow on the weekdays as we work full time but we are always keen for a drink!
A little bit about myself, I'm a 28 y/o from Malaysia and will be doing my masters in Law at the University of Sydney. I dont smoke but I dont mind it, I'm a reasonably neat person myself, as long as everyone cleans up after themselves its all good. I do cook(pretty basic stuff) and would use the kitchen fairly regularly, always up for joint cooking/themed meals. I love sports and football particularly, Love all kinds of books and Im a big movie buff. Always wanted to try horse riding and skydiving but never got the chance. I'd like to consider myself a people person, with diverse interests in sports, politics and general knowledge. I'd love a chat over a shared meal/movie/banter session after work/class but am respectful of personal space at the same time. I enjoy meeting and getting to know new people and sharing new experiences. Im as mentioned a huge tv/movie and literary buff, among my likes include the, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Star Wars series, Inglorious Basterds, Body of Lies, and basically any other half decent action or thriller movie :) Anything from Forsyth or Lee Child, Matt Reilly, Tom Clancy,J.RR Tolkien,Eragon Series, Gentlemen Bastards Series, Freakonomics,Super Freakonomics,Soccernomics,World is Flat and anything else from Thomas Freidman Im also looking for flatmates to share a property
We are migrating to Sydney this coming 25th of July. We are actively looking for a job and we already have some scheduled interviews when we arrive in Sydney next month. We are in Architecture and Interior Design field. We used to worked in Singapore for the past 6 years (Feb 2012 to June 2018) and rented our own flat there, so we know what it's like to take care of a house or a bedroom that we are renting. Currently we are in the Philippines taking a short break before migrating to Sydney next month. We are a very tidy, organized, well behaved and respectful married couple. We don't drink and we don't smoke. We value and respect privacy.
I'm a geology major coming to Sydney from Texas. I clean my dishes and can teach y'all the conjugations of "y'all". Will be moving to Sydney on July 12th and Im looking for some fun people to live with until december. I won't be there before then and therefore won't pay for a room before I arrive. I would prefer other students or people close to my age so preferably no older than 25. I'm looking for a private room that is furnished and relatively close to USYD. If you have anything available, would like to team up to find a place, or have any questions shoot me a message!
