I'm Lara, 29yrs old, I work full time in the city for a property firm as an analyst. I'm usually at work 8-6 but often end up there a bit longer. I like to get up nice and early and get to the gym before work, so I'm rarely around in the mornings. Most weekends I try and spend outdoors catching up with friends.
Hi there, I am a 27 year old single professional female who just relocated to Sydney from London and am looking for a furnished room in a home which is preferably modern and near a beach but am fairly flexible. I work for an insurance company in the CBD (standard 9-5 hours) and am here on a 457 visa as I fancied a change from London's dreary weather. I plan on spending 2-3 years here so looking to make the most of what Sydney has to offer in that time (I spent my first week here at surf camp!!). I try to live a healthy and active lifestyle, I will be looking to join a gym and yoga studio as soon as possible and I also go for runs when the weather permits. I am outgoing and sociable and if the insurance sector is anything like in London, after-work drinks on a Friday are the norm, but equally I do like my own space on occasion. I have a few friends from London who are already in Sydney but our late night party days are behind us now. Most importantly I am a very clean and considerate housemate. I co-own a flat in London with my sister which I have been living in for the past two years and have learned the importance of treating a home with respect and keeping it tidy and presentable at all times. I will try to get out and about as much as possible on the weekends but also partial to a good Netflix afternoon when the weather is bad. I am staying in temporary accommodation provided through work for the whole of February but will be available to move any time around the beginning of March. I would love to hear from you or arrange to come and view your flat if you think this sounds like a good match! Thanks, Lauren x
Hey! I'm currently living in Sydney CBD area and am considering to move to get my own room. I'm super friendly and easy to get along with. I like meeting new people and don't mind living with others, but sometimes privacy is needed too. I'm working mostly every day of the week, but I enjoy having drinks and movie night during my day-off :)
I'm an easy going, mature and friendly student, studying medical science at UTS. I enjoy reading, listening to music, the outdoors, keeping active and cooking, enjoy going out for a few drinks or having a wine at home but also enjoy time alone. Spent the last 5months travelling overseas and now need somewhere to live close to UTS or manly ideally.
Norwegian law student moving to Sydney to study at USYD from March-December 2018. Will be at school most weekdays, and probably at the beach or traveling around in the weekends. I also appreciate home nights with beer/wine, BBQ and TV series with flat mates. Into sports, music, movies, traveling and relaxing. Clean and tidy. And let us not forget happy and humorous :-)
We are very sociable, chilled, clean and tidy long time friends. We moved to Sydney from the UK after working and travelling in Asia, and we're here to work, travel and discover what Australia has to offer. We like cooking, good food, movies and sports (running, swimming, hiking and gym). Hit us up!
first year art student at National Art School who lives rurally and is looking for a friendly bunch of flatmates. I am sociable but also very quiet and reserved at times. I am respectful and always clean up after myself. would prefer to be around younger flatmates who enjoy some of the same interest as me. I will be at uni most days and will be working almost every night during the week.
Who am I? I'm a Dutch student, studying Cognitive Psychology and Artificial Intelligence. In my home country I am member of a student society/ fraternity. I like reading, cycling, hiking and gaming, but I probably spend most of my time with friends or flatmates. Why live with me? Relaxed personality, like to socialize with my flatmates. I have been in several countries, like China, Russia and all over Europe. Would like to do stuff together, like surfing, going out etc. (especially in weekends). Thru the week I'll be mostly studying, working and surfing. In the evening I would like to eat together (if possible) and also hang out together; maybe watch movies, football or whatsoever.
Hi there, I'm looking to rent a single room while my Boyfriend goes to do is farmwork. I'm very easy going, like to cook, veggie, healthy living, and play music. Irish looking for a nice place walking distance to the beach
UPDATE: CURRENTLY TEAMED-UP AND LOOKING FOR PLACES. NOT AVAILABLE ANYMORE. Hey everyone! After spending two wonderful years in Manly, it's time for a change. Next stop ... the Eastern Suburbs! I'm 32, Sydney born-and-bred, raised in the South (Cronulla), spent my 20's in the Inner-West, have done my dash in the North (Dee Why, Manly), and now it's time to finish the circle. Having lived with many people over the years, I think I've discovered the ingredients for the perfect house mate: - Moral compass (right vs wrong). - Clean and tidy (without becoming imposing). - A sense of humor and friendly personality (it is a home after all). - Boundaries (it's a shared home). - Cooking (with a glass of wine). - No drama (that's what TV is for). Happy to say I possess all of these (#humblebrag) and looking to live with someone similar. Full-time employed in the CBD as the Commercial Manager of a Renewable Energy Fund. I work regular hours, with evenings and weekends available at my leisure. I'm pet friendly, drug free, allergy free, and hassle free (that's a lot of free)! Pass times include health and fitness, attending events, socializing, and reading. I'm quite tall at 198 cm (6'6"), so I'm pretty good at dusting those high places and changing the odd light bulb. My worst enemy is the combined shower / bathtub. They're not built for tall people. As a consequence, looking for a medium size room as a minimum, otherwise ... I won't fit. I'm a very open person (maybe a little too open), so please feel free to ask any questions. Thank you for reading my lil spiel. It's so much fun advertising yourself ... Do you know what the sneaky knight on King Arthur's Round-Table was called? ... Sir-Prise (if you don't get this, it's not going to work).
Full time working professional looking to move into the Paddington/Eastern suburbs area. I'm a very easy going flat mate, enjoy socializing and like living in a clean house! From Sydney and I've flat shared for the past couple of years in the Uk so I'm flexible with living arrangements, whether it's going out for a few drinks on the weekend or having a quiet one in. I enjoy going to the gym and having an active lifestyle, quiet throughout the week but like to get out of the house on the weekend. Non-smoker, can whip up some tasty cocktails and have a great taste in TV series. Looking to join a share house with one or two other working professionals, show me what you've got!
As a roommate I am respectful, social and tidy. I do like to socialize but also like my alone time, and respect others when they need theirs. If you have any questions just let me know :)
I'm a local sydney boy. I'm a great cook and am social, clean and don't take myself too seriously. I like to live with people I can hang out with, have a meal drink and chat with. I'm sporty and love to get out of the house on the weekends.
Ahoy there 👋🏻 Don’t be fooled, im a 50 year old woman in a 19 year old girls body, i love a tidy household, cooking roast dinners and reading novels, im looking for likeminded people who respect the shared space as well as my own privacy. I’m studying my first year at the National Art School in Darlinghurst, i’m a freelance artist and musician, i am easy-going and good at knowing boundaries, i like to think im the perfect roomate, during my 5 weekdays i’ll be studying on campus at my uni , leaving my nights free to relax (and fall asleep by 9pm) I don’t have any bad habits, and like to stay away from smoking, drugs and throwing wild house parties.
- I'm easy to get along with, I don't judge anyone just be yourself. - I love hanging out with friends but just as happy to relax at home. - Always up for a surf or anything involving the beach. I have always lived around Manly and know the area well. - I work full-time during the week - I have a car and a license - I'm clean and respectful
