Hey, I'm a 24-year-old Music Producer moving to Sydney from England on a Working Holiday Visa 21st November. Staying in a hostel for two weeks, so will be able to move in somewhere 6th December! I'm a Clean, Tidy & Easy-going guy. I like to have fun and socialize, but also enjoy my own space as well. Looking forward to meeting new people, and the right people to start my Australian journey with!
I am a 38 year professional female working full time in financial services in the city. During the week I am fairly quiet as I tend to work long hours. I enjoy cooking and also for housemates every so often over a glass wine. We will be living together so it’s nice to have a relaxed living arrangement. When catching up with friends and family I tend to go out. In my spare time I am usually at the beach, doing barre or yoga, running, walking, at home relaxing, reading and go hiking every so often. I am a regular with city to surf runs each year and other runs and hoping to do my first marathon soon. Will try the half first. I like reading as well. I am not a party person but do love to catch up with friends and fam for some fun too. I am health conscious but not over the top and always looking at ways to improve. I am clean, neat and tidy. I don’t have a car but looking at getting a scooter soon. Still doing research. I am free to move now.
Looking to team-up or live with a maximum of 2 other people. Won’t pay more than $600 bond. Won’t pay any more than $500 a week. Please no share rooms. I cannot live like that. I work 7 days as a security supervisor and am hoping to start studies to become a paramedic soon. I’m very easy to talk to, respect others privacy and property. I love pets but don’t own any and i’d prefer a nice apartment in or near the city but if you have somewhere else in mind please send me a link. Thanks Danny
Hello! I'm 27, working full time and will also be studying next year. I am looking to find either an existing pet-friendly home, or someone to team up with to find a new place to make our own! Hoping to move in late January or early February. I am clean, quiet (but friendly!) and have a good rental history. I am relatively easygoing and get along with anyone. I keep to myself a lot but would be happy to have the occasional chat or Netflix session with my flatmate. I do have 2 cats and 2 budgies, who are very clean. Be warned that the cats may try to cuddle you or sit with you though! I have a fridge, washer, dryer, lounge, TV and streaming services that I am more than happy to share. Hoping to find a nice flatmate and then a nice place to live!
We are a group of friends from the UK over to see a friend who is currently working in sydney. She is also a backpacker so unfortunately doesn't have a fancy house she can put us up in so we are looking for a place to stay whilst we are over visiting. We are all very tidy and respectful, we aren't crazy party people, we just like to socialise quietly over a few drinks and good conversation.
I'm very tidy and like to make my living space cosy and peaceful (plants and twinkly lights etc!), and am on the whole, a relaxed kind of person. I like having a bit of a chat in the evenings but also appreciate the need for space. Would love a clean and respectful place to live, with like minded people
Hey I'm Olivea, Liv for short. I work full time as a nanny in the bondi junction area. I have a working holiday visa from July this year so ideally looking to stay until July next year. I love going to the gym before work, getting fresh air on the weekends, and love the occasional night out. I enjoy cooking at home and having a chat at the end of the day, also love a bit of "me time". I'm a pretty tidy person and will always pick up after myself.
I like to do my share to keep my living place tidy and clean. I enjoy being part of a group but I enjoy my own time also. I'm fit and active, spending some of my day out and about. I'm interested in politics, art, reading and being in the nature.
22 year old, working full time in the CBD. Looking to move out long term, preferably in the Eastern or Inner West suburbs. I'm very social and spend a lot of time out on the weekends and tend to stay in most week nights. I'm very respectful, mindful, tidy and like to make a house feel like a home. Love to have a drink through the week every so often and socialise with the people I live with. Hoping to live in a semi-social house with like minded people. :)
My girlfriend and I are looking for a room to last us until April 2018, before she deserts me to live in Japan. We're good hearted, decent individuals. No riff-raff here. Note: The turkey next to me in the photo is not my girlfriend.
I am fun, easy going and maintain personal space. I am quiet but love a good party. I don't mind pets (not much of cat person but I don't mind them). I'm an international student and I'm okay with living with people from any and all cultures. I am an architecture student but that doesn't keep me from having a good time. I've lived in a share house before so I'm pretty good with living with other people as well as chipping in on the responsibilities (we've never failed a house inspection, that should tell you a lot about my habits). I can be a hardcore binger so if you're down for a complete GoT/Peaky Blinders/Breaking Bad (the list is pretty long) marathon count me in. That being said I like to nap a lot too so that should prove that I can keep you good company as well as make sure you have your personal space. I'm a recreational gamer which means i game only when I can and don't go on for hours without eating or sleeping (xbox ftw). Lastly i'm (almost) always down for any outing from lunch to snorkeling you name it! As for the team-up thing, i'd prefer if you were in my age range and/or can vibe with my description above. Cheers!
Hey, I'm Shane. I'm 30, Irish, single professional.Recently moved to Sydney. Pretty easy going, tidy, friendly and a respectful housemate. Enjoy socialising but appreciate personal space also. Unfortunately I have cat allergies, so prefer a place with no cats
I'm Sharon. My background is Indian. I'm friendly, flexible and fun loving. I recently finished my exams. I love learning and experiencing new stuffs. I like to watch anime and movies, and play game to relax.
Hi, nick and I have both decided to move to Sydney in the new year. We both work very hard week in week out, we need to secure a place ASAP so we can start searching for jobs within our chosen area I am a law student and bartender, and nick is on a working holiday visa, hoping to become a resident, he’s also an experienced chef 👩🍳 We’re friendly and social, we enjoy good company and are respectful and responsible. We like to keep things tidy and most importantly have the best time and make friends.
I'm an American trying to find my way back into the inner-inner west (please don’t message for places that are not inner-inner west). I have yet to give my notice at my current location, which is 3 weeks, so the place I'm looking to move into needs to be available around the second week of December. At a glance: - $280/week budget (all bills in this) - Inner inner west/inner city, <30 mins to Central by public transit, with walking time - preferably furnished - preferably no more than 3-4 people in the household - absolutely must be pest-free and clean (old is fine!!) - private room only (this shouldn’t have to be said but sadly it seems I need to explicitly say it) - move in during early-mid December I keep to myself for the most part but I'm social enough that you won't worry about there being a dead body in the room and I'm certainly open to recapping the week over a wine or tea, I clean up all my messes (and I have too much experience cleaning up other people’s messes), and I always pay rent on time. Heck, even early if I can't pay on the scheduled day. I just won't suit a large sharehouse full of early 20s. I find things tend to stray into chaos when there's more than 3-4 unrelated people living under one roof... but it’s not necessarily a dealbreaker if the house is big. Currently I live with a married couple, renting a room in their recently acquired apartment. It's new and snazzy but it's expensive and in a sad, bleak part of Sydney. They have been great to live with (the best people I've ever rented from), but I need to find a cheerier suburb. My budget is listed as 280--for me this means all up, all bills, up to 280/week. Additionally, as I am a foreigner, I would GREATLY prefer a furnished place, at least just with a double/queen bed--I don't want to be stuck trying to sell off furniture. I am NOT interested in bleak, gray, apartment-centric suburbs. Thanks for reading and lemme know if what you've got fits! PS: Feel free to ask me about the time I used to live in Glebe with a hoarder who managed to infest the house with fleas while we had no pet. I noped out of that fast and lost so much money in the process. It would explain to you how much of a legend flatmate I am and my perseverance in times of adversity. But really, please, no bug infestations.
We are a French couple. my girlfriend is a 24 year old cook in gastronomic restaurants. and I am a 26 year old architect. We just arrived in Sydney. We want to meet new people and discover the city. we are here for a year trying to work in Sydney.
I’ve done and seen a lot of things in my life. Moved back to Sydney after 4 years abroad and looking for a great place in Sydney. I used to work in fashion and now am a travel agent. Very sociable and always keen for a wine, but also happy to keep to myself if preferred. I like to keep my spaces clean so will be easy with household chores.
Hey everyone! I'm a student making the big move from Canada to study at the University of Sydney this January (flexible date), and am looking for a new place to call home! I will be in the USYD dental school program, so any other dentistry / med students out there especially - let's chat ! But of course, I am open to meeting others as well. I am excited about this new experience and am hoping to make new friends to go explore the area with! A bit about myself: I have had the experience of living in shared rental housing (private room/ensuite; shared common areas; males & females) during undergrad and I understand the responsibilities and dynamics that come with it! I find living with cool people that I vibe with, a lot more fun and enjoyable than living on my own. I've also been working F/T so I can relate to the young professional lifestyle as well! I'm a flexible, easygoing, social, trustworthy, and caring person. I love going out and having a good time with my friends, and value the chill days in too. I appreciate independent time and also respect others'. I enjoy a bit of banter, am always down for an adventure and a good time and like to joke around and laugh a lot. With that said, I also know when I need to buckle down and hustle - aka the study grind! As your housemate, I will: pay my bills on time, clean up after myself, respect your privacy, respect our shared space, share, be generous in the kitchen (I'll be happy to share what I cook or even cook together), remember to communicate , be understanding and considerate, and contribute to a positive environment. Other random things about me, I also like to: go to the gym, go to the beach, read a good book, toss a football around, watch football & hockey, go to sporting events, go out dancing, go to concerts, go on hikes, go for brunch, check out new cafes/bars, binge on tv, try new things, travel!! Oh and I love (and is almost always) listening to music! && You can trust me to 99.9% of the time - have a fresh pot of coffee brewing each morning. I'd like to meet flatmates that are like-minded; honest, socially active, chill, fun-loving and values a well-rounded work-life balance and responsible work ethic in school. I'm hoping for something at least a year long with the potential of more, since I will be in Syd for the next couple years. To sum it up, if you're a nice person and I sound like someone you'd be down to live with, then shoot me a message! I'm super excited to hear from y'all :)
