My two friends and I have moved up to the area from the Blue Mountains (near Sydney) for work. We are all full time working girls who moved up for a sea change (we love the beach!). We are respectable girls who work most days and know how to maintain a neat and tidy household and yard. We are currently in a short term rental in South Golden Beach (paying $500 per week) and are hoping to find a long term rental (min 3 months) so we can settle down here. I have great rental references and we all have plenty of employer and personal preferences that you can check. We are very excited to be up in this beautiful area and can't wait to find a permanent place to call home! I hope you can help us out :) Much love, Aleisha, Dara and Alice
Hello there! We are an intelligent, kind and clean couple looking for a room to rent from anywhere between 1-6 months. We love to have a laugh with roommates but we also like our alone time so all types of living arrangements suit us. Originally from Adelaide but living in NSW for a change of experience. We are interested in meditation, street bikes, crystals, writing literature, movies, snorkelling and reading. Feel free to send us a message and discuss either a room available or team-up. Our moving date is also flexible depending on what suits you best. We hope to hear from you soon! Regards, James & Madelleine
Im a swedish traveller who is studying english in byron bay english language school. Im now looking for some nice and quiet place to stay during my three months in school (first months I'm staying in school accommodation). More if i byron give me good vibes and I feel like staying (I'm on a working holiday visa). I will get myself a job in some point aswell. At home i like to keep it clean and tidy around me, so i can fokus on more important things. Like. Training, nature, food (vegan), write, relax, music or whatever im up for in the moment. I love to meet new people and can be social if needed, but i like my own space a lot. I belive its important to take care of the planet we live on. Respect all the living creatures who lives here. All life has the same value. Im a easy going person who wanna live in a relaxed apartment, shared house or room with some nice people or family. It really doesent matter for me as long we get along! I dont have a clue about the area, i want it to be with in a bi-cycle distance to school (max 30 min) or a not to long walk. It dont need to be in those dicstance tho, as i say i dont have a clue about areas and rents. My move in date is flexible. And my length aswell. Im NOT looking for any house/flat with parties.
Hi! I have been interstate for 6 months and am coming home to the Northern Rivers - Yay! I am looking for a place to call home while I build on my land in the area so I am pretty obsessed with that at the moment. It'sa long and tumultuous but exciting process. I work part time, commuting to Sydney or at home working from my computer so I do need access to good internet. To live with I am very clean, tidy and generally quiet (as in not a party animal!). At the same time I can be very social and fun. As a person I am genuinely kind, considerate and honest. I like staying fit and active. I've always been a non-smoker but I do enjoy a good quality wine every now and then. I think I'd wilt away without air-conditioning but maybe I need to toughen up a bit! That said I'd pay more if there was good air-con and a swimming pool! If I sound like the type of person you are looking for I look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Melissa
We're an easy going couple, travelling since 2008. We've been around Australia for a year (2014-15) and would like to settle in the Byron Bay area for a while. Ronald was born in Australia, raised in the Netherlands and France, he's musician and electrician. Claire is French, working as a freelance software engineer. We both like our relaxed life with music, reading, hiking around sometimes, having a fresh beer in late arvo, watching series in the evening...
Hi, my name is Taylah. Currently working in the Whitsundays as a massage therapist, moving to nsw to study osteo (also working). I am a health and wellness enthusiast with a love for anything outdoors. Super easy going and down to earth. I love tea, yoga and basically anything fun. Clean and tidy and very considerate.
I'm hoping to find a long-term home for at least a year or longer, if all works out well. I definitely like calm and quiet in my home environment, although I do enjoy relating with people when it happens, and having thoughtful and thought-provoking conversations. But basically I'm quite self-contained, independent and enjoy being quiet. Re shared areas; I believe I'm a very considerate, aware and respectful sharer of space. I leave the most minimal footprint possible and clean up as immediately as possible after creating food in the kitchen. As far as my life style/interests are concerned: I'm a retired teacher who worked with Indigenous adolescents in central Australia for several years, and before that in Wilcannia and northern NSW. I'm now studying a three year Dru Yoga Teacher Training course; I attend two Dru yoga classes a week, one a private class in Mullum, and one in Byron. I'm a regular volunteer at the Northern Rivers Community Gallery in Ballina (one or two shifts a week) I have my own income. I'm a creative who delights in the aesthetic in all aspects of living and I deeply value feeling connected to nature. I'm a keen gardener and enjoy planting food, herbs and flowers. I love eating good food and cooking, particularly different ethnic foods. I eat a vegetarian diet, but I'm not rigid about it. I guess if I were asked to encapsulate what I love and believe in, one word would have to be *diversity* and one concept would have to be *unity in diversity*. I'm a traveller and a seeker and always will be. Suffice it to say I can wax lyrical about things I feel passionate about, and act upon them as well. I look forward to connecting with anyone who shares similar values.
Hi, I'm looking for a room to rent. I’m working in Byron. I'm neat, tidy and a conscious person. I enjoy a chat and I also like my own space. I am a non smoker, non drinker and I am drug free. I am looking for a household that is non smoking and drug free. Somewhere I can relax and chill out. I have a beautiful 12 year old spoodle. He is very well behaved and doesn’t shed hair. I have great references too. Look forward to hearing from you.
Amber has been working full-time as a Graduate Architect in Byron Bay after finishing her bachelor degree in 2016. A crazy passionate, and house proud individual. Jack has recently relocated from his home town of Newcastle, a qualified landscaper. Currently working for a horticulture company from Currumbin to Byron Bay. When his not in the garden he is catching waves or studying film. A handy man, that takes care of everything his around. Whilst we are young, we are reliable and secure and will not only love your home like its our own but are respectful and mindful of those around us. Will always catch a neighbouring wave, and a beer in the garden.
I am from Mackay qld, been living in Bundaberg for three years. Time for a change. I love the beach , I love cocktail bars. I love good conversation . I’m pretty easy going. I work part time as a bartender. In my spare time I take dance classes. I enjoy going out for dinner as much as I enjoy staying in and eating a whole packet of Doritos. I haven’t lived in shared Housing in a few years though I know when people need their own space and try to respect that.
Hi, I am a female writer working on the final draft for a great film project for the planet so I am very quiet most of the time to give space to the muse! I would like to team up for a new place as a first option and choose a place that's peaceful, green with a beautiful outlook and we each have our own bathroom/ ensuite. To balance my quiet life I always go out to see friends/dance/music every weekend. I love my life and my work and am happy and always positive and would love to find someone similar!
I'm looking for an independent space of my own. I have high functioning Asperges but I'm quite independant, drive a car and work (but my parents would be guarantors for the rent). Thankyou
I'm a quiet and considerate person. I usually keep to myself (you'll probably find me listening to podcasts and going for hikes) but I do enjoy a chat now and again. I work full-time hours (7-3) during the week. I don't smoke and I'm not a party animal. I'm pretty chill 😎👍
I surf and love the ocean, this is the main reason I came to Byron. I’m neat, tidy, social, healthy, and would make a fun housemate. I’m self employed as a marketing contractor in Byron Bay. I'm used to share houses. On weekends I surf and do some creative writing. Currently living in Suffolk Park, and loving it.
Hi! I have recently moved down to Byron Bay after living in India for the past three years. I work full-time for a local fashion brand in Byron. I am a social, outgoing housemate who loves to relax and have a beer or two on the weekend! I love cooking and eating and sharing good food and I am a tidy and respectful housemate. I am looking for a place with some likeminded housemates who will hopefully become friends!
I am a personable 44yo non smoking female with a dry wit and easy smile. I have integrity, reliability and am tidy. I recently relocated to northern NSW owing to a full time job transfer and am seeking suitable accommodation preferably with an on-site pool and / or gym but will consider options without if dog friendly. My canine family features a Toy Poodle (Emille - 9yo), a Miniature Poodle (Marquis - 9yo) and a Lagotto Romagnolo (Fonzi - 6yo). I welcome the opportunity to chat about your offering at the earliest convenience.
Hi I’m Mel, 33, looking for a studio or potentially a share house that’s pet friendly. I’m a nurse, like to keep busy. Not a couch potato. Like to surf (beginner), walk my dog every day, do pottery classes in Byron. Clean, tidy, don’t mind socialising with the odd wine but definitely not a party animal, homes usually a place to chill out for me. Looking for a place that’s secure with a reasonable yard for my friendly three year old border collie. She’s well behaved and gets along with everyone.
I’m moving to the area from Townsville and my friend Maddie is moving from Melbourne. We’re in the process of looking for jobs to start our new life in the Byron shire! We’re both fun loving girls who love to travel and have a good time, but are also very tidy and respectful of others. We love being out side and finding cool places to explore, but don’t mind a few beers on a Friday arvo.
We are three fun loving, hard working girls from Sydney looking for a bit of a sea change while we are young. Looking for a place to stay while we work and enjoy the local area.
