I'm pretty hilarious, at least thats how people describe me. I tend to think that I'm witty, but the accent that I got from Downton Abbey doesn't help at all. NO, I'm not from England, I'm from HK. I'm a libra, I'm just and fair. well. what i want to say is that, Im blunt. I don't know how to shape a sentence and make myself a poet. I speak how I feel and what I think. But don't get me wrong, Im almost impossible to be pissed off-- even if I'm angry, I usually forget about it in 3 seconds. i didn't dare to tick myself a smoker, cause it turns people off. but I do smoke time to time. I'm not a social smoker, but i do enjoy a cig sometimes. but nah, i don't smoke every 10 mins. don't worry, I won't smoke indoor, not even in the balcony or backyard or whatever, cause i hate the stink as much as you possibly do. when I want a cig, I piss off. I'm addicted to surfing. I have learnt it only about 2 month. SO YOU KNOW HOW GOOD I CAN BE. most of the time, Im trying to paddling out, or get myself caught in the rip. Once I'm out, Im trying not to get blown off. But I go out, good day or bad day. I think thats what surfing really is, to develop a relationship with the wave, and they are all different. Oh. I'm a yogi too. but now i spend most of my time surfing. Im not a vegan. But if you are, no judgment. I'll follow your kitchen rules, cause i eat mostly eggs and avocado on toast. YES, I'm a very lazy person when it comes to making it...........i don't mind share meal tho.......if u like to cook, great i'll do the washing. I'm a full-time student from Usyd, finishing my honours year in film studies. I work during weekend, and maybe 1-2 days during the week. When I'm at home I'll be doing my research, so I will be super quite. But Im happy whenever you fancy a chat. just don't make me watch random video on Facebook..... I'm a morning person, but I can sleep even if you play Jay-Z or Jay Sean at the volume 100 at night. but I may doubt your choice of music. Westlife is my guilty pleasure. The best thing to live with me....possibly because I have an awesome vacuum. Its really a very fancy vacuum......
Hi, I'm moving back to Sydney after several years away in rural and regional NSW. I loved living at the beach on the Central Coast, and so would love to stay at the beach now that I'll be working at POW hospital. My interests include delicious food and drink, running (this is new, and am uncertain of the longevity of this new hobby), reading, yoga, pottery and hiking. I'm going to be working Mon-Fri mostly with occasional bouts of shift work, and also studying for professional exams early next year. I guess this means I will spend time holed up in my room studying (or looking at the internet and berating myself), BUT I am a sociable person who enjoys company, wine and general procrastination. I have lived in some wonderful share houses where I have made lifelong friends, and I have lived in horrible crumbling houses with fantastic people, and I have lived with some complete nutters, which I do not wish to repeat. I have a long term partner who lives interstate, and we will hopefully occasionally visit each other from time to time (current frequency - once in three months). He bakes his own sourdough! We are low key and unobtrusive people. I wish to stay somewhere long term, with housemates who will be friends, with people who love cleanliness, and will understand my need for study time and occasionally sleeping during the day. I am LGBT+ friendly, I do not smoke, and I want to walk, ride or catch public transport to work. I will be moving on the weekend of 6/7 May but flexible with this date, and am unfortunately in Lismore until then, although I may try to arrange a flight down to check out some places on a weekend prior. (please excuse the mugshot - this is my old gym membership picture!)
My name is Kylie, I have recently moved from Melbourne and work for Westpac Bank in the CBD. I work 5 days a week and love coming home after a long day and having a laugh with my house mates over dinner. I enjoy going adventuring and being outdoors. I am easy going and very chilled.
Hi! I'm a 33yo male looking for a long term stay. I work as a professional in the banking and finance industry, working within the Project Delivery department at a major bank. I work full time and have been in the same organisation for 7 years there for job security is not a problem. I'm clean and tidy, enjoy cooking, love being active and also very sociable. I'd say that my strongest quality is that I'm very domesticated with all cleaning activities. It's weird but I find it somewhat therapeutic. I work Monday to Friday and enjoy going to the gym, running and practising my yoga. If I'm not preparing my meals in the evenings I love watching reality TV shows like MKR or Masterchef. On weekends I enjoy eating out, cooking new recipes, watching movies and TV shows, going hiking and of course, the beach! The party life is well and truly behind me and would rather conserve that energy for activities that contribute to my health and wellbeing. It's my passion! If you're looking for someone that will respect you, pay bills on time, can live with just about anyone and will treat your home as their own then please get in touch with me. I would love to hear from you!
Hey guys, I'm Michaela. Looking to move into a place around the eastern beaches ASAP. I'm a clean, respectful, easy going beach lover and looking for a place to call home. Own private room is necessary, anything else, just ask :)
I'm a recent graduate from Newcastle uni, looking to find somewhere to stay whilst working full-time in Sydney. I'd describe myself as a pretty all-round sort of guy. I enjoy making new friends, trying new experiences, and being around fun people of all different varieties. Personally, I'm a bit of a clean freak, but also quite relaxed, trying not to be invasive in other people's lives. I enjoy things, right from keeping fit, to playing video games, and would love for people to tag along with my hobbies if they wish. I'm also sporting a pretty big beard. Just so you know...if you like beards...
My girlfriend and I are looking for a room in a flatshare apartment. We enjoy arts and music gigs, usually live a pretty quiet life during the week. In the weekend often on the go, exploring art galleries, new music, hitting the beach, hanging out with friends, bbq, festivals. Get along with most people.
Hi there, my name is Tegan. I am 25 years old and moving from Melbourne to Sydney in early May to take up a new full-time job. I'll be working in Darlinghurst as a trainee embryologist and am looking for a private room in a sharehouse that is preferably close to a train station. I'm hoping to find a social house with housemates who like to hang out occasionally and have the odd meal/glass of wine/night out together. I will be working during the day on weekdays and at nights I like to cook, exercise and relax. On weekends I enjoy going out at night and being active and adventurous during the day. I love animals (though sadly will have to leave the family dog in Melbourne), avocados and memes, and I bake the most amazing chocolate chip cookies. Looking forward to hearing from any potential housemates!
Both professionals working in the film and TV industry. Currently looking for a large bedroom (preferably with own ensuite). Gregarious and considerate housemates, we both work long hours but love to share a bottle of red and have a laugh at the end of the day.
Quiet living, easy going nature with no commitments other than work monday to friday. Weekends I'm mostly out an about with friends and family. I'm looking for a room near the beach and with my own bathroom. I don't have a car so need to be walking distance to public transport
Full time Electrician looking for a room, I'm easy going and not really in the house much. I try to spend most of my time outdoors and hanging with friends. I own two cars, one is for work and my personal car isn't used much so driveway/garage would be pretty convenient. I hit the gym when i can and enjoy good food, drinks and company over the weekends.
I'm 19, and I've just moved to Sydney from Cape Town, South Africa! I'm easy to talk to, very neat, and I'm always up for a laugh. I'm looking for a place to stay for 6-12 months - I'm an aspiring music producer, and I've had a few songs released in South Africa, and as such, I will happily spend my time by myself making music. I'm also a bartender, so give me some ingredients, and I'll make you a mean drink! I'm currently employed by Country Road as a casual, and I am looking for a job at a bar, which could mean I won't be in the house all the time!
My name is Hilke and I am studying law at the Freie Universität in Berlin. I am going to continue my studies for one year at the UNSW starting in mid-July. Since I've been in Berlin, I've been living in flatshares and it's has mostly been a great experience, except from the towers of drity dishes that sometimes occur out of nowhere and I ended up cleaning. :) I would describe myself as an easy-going, open-minded and tidy person whom you can have fun with. My interests are art, literature and music. I can't wait to explore another metropole on another continent. Maybe with you? Best wishes Hilke
Hi, I'm just about to start full-time work in personal training/nutrition, looking to move to a place close by. I'm a relatively quiet person, but always keen to chat and hang out. I love a good movie night. I tend to fill my spare time with physical activities or enjoying a good book. I'm a non-smoker, would prefer non-smoking flat mates and despite absolutely loving all animals, I'm allergic to most pets.
Hi, My name is Oliver, I am 19 years old and currently in the process of switching Uni courses. I am currently working and looking for accommodation with someone who I will get along with. I love philosophy, photography, reading, movies, gaming, alcohol, sleeping, and weirdly I actually enjoy writing essays for Uni If you are looking for someone introverted calm and independent, but easy to talk to and helpful then send me a message :) Preferably looking to move into a 2 bedroom with either a couple or guy/girl, as I hate the idea of sharing a room.
Hi there! I'm Hiroko from Japan. I will enrol uni of postgraduate course which locates in south of city from this July. I hope an own room(not sharing with others) and no party house. I prefer my bed size is double, king or queen. I really want to improve my English skill ,so I'd prefer to live with people who are a variety of nationalities. I like cooking and drinking. My hobby is watching movies(including NETFLIX,hulu and DVD). I'm easygoing , tidy , neat and polite person. Additionally, I'm a talkative, but respect own private space and quiet time. If you don't mind,I'd like to go out pubs or bars together on weekend occasionally.
I'm a 27 year old teacher with a healthy dose of humour, love of travel and language. Relocating to the Eastern suburbs to be closer to work. Pretty easygoing guy, happy to keep the place clean and keen for friendly chat, venturing out together now and again or chilling in the house with a house dinner or a game. Usually out and about trying to play some kind of sport but can be very chilled also especially midweek when the brain is frizzled from teaching! Learning Spanish, writing, current affairs and sports are my main passions and enjoy meeting new people as much as possible. Originally from the UK I've been living in Sydney for 3 years. Thanks Joe
Hi there! I'm Paula, 25 and originally from Scotland :) I have just moved to Australia from London and I will be working in media/advertising. I'm a really active person, who loves sport and exercise, but I also love to have a good time on the weekend! Favourite things include the beach, sport, skiing, running, BBQs, dinner parties, live music/festivals...etc! I would love to move somewhere that is more of a home than a house, with a friends/family vibe, rather than just housemates! It would be great to chat and socialise in the evenings, but I'm also pretty independent so happy to do my own thing too. Important qualities in a housemate for me would be social, fun, chilled, clean and considerate!
I am an easy-going, relatively quiet guy who has just moved to Australia. Looking for affordable, clean digs in Sydney. I am not an intrusive dude, but I am ready for a chat and a beer when you are. I am also a non-smoker and almost a cleanliness freak as far my space goes. I have lived on my own for 6 years now, so I know the drill.
Hello potential flatmates! My name's Sarah and I'm from Toronto, Canada. In January 2015 I went on a 6 month university exchange in Sydney and fell absolutely in love with Australia. So that's why my goal is to get myself back to Sydney in July 2017. I love meeting new people, trying new things, and going on adventures with friends! Adventures can include anything from a nature hike to trying out a new cafe... I'm down for it all! My main professional focus is photography so my hope is to get work in my field in Sydney. I'm looking for a fun, social house/apartment of open-minded people. I think as a flatmate I am tidy, friendly, and social but also appreciate "me-time" so don't worry about me bugging you 24/7 haha! Anyway, let's chat! xx
