I am just back from living in the UK for four years where I was working for international media companies. I am currently working in government. I like film, tv, travel and good food. During the week I tend to focus on work, going to the gym and being healthy, and on the weekend I catch up with family and friends. I have family up on the Northern Beaches so I also spend a lot of weekends up there. I am quiet and do my own thing, but I also enjoy catching up for the occasional meal or drink. I am looking for somewhere to call home for six plus months or so .
Full time public servant working in finance. I'm busy most of the time but willing to chat and help my housemates as much as I could. I'm tidy and clean. Looking to team up mainly here so if you're nice and looking for a new place to stay this June 2018. Let me know.
Scored a promotion through the iconic Australian surf company I work for and am moving to Sydney with my dog. I'm a bit of business hippy. Very professional at work, but pretty laid back in private. Very clean, respectful, considerate and generous can get along with anyone. Love food, the outdoors, the beach and skateboarding with my dog Bambi. Smoker (not indoors of course). 420 friendly. LGBTI friendly. Working f/time and doing a uni degree I'm pretty flatout but would like to live with someone i can share a meal and some drinks with occasionally. I'll be working at Sydney airport and don't know the area at all. Trying to find somewhere close to beach and airport. Move date flexible a few weeks either way
Im from amsterdam and obviously open-minded. love dancing (salsa, bachata, kizomba r&b) and martial arts ((kick)boxing, BJJ, mma). adventurous and always looking for a good laugh. Currently, I am traveling for a few months and will return to Sydney on April 30. I won't be able to check the apartments before that date (pictures of the room are highly appreciated). I will be here for a year for work (lawyer). This means that I'll have very long hours during the week and won't be home early. This makes me an easy roommate to live with as I'm not there ;-). However, noisewise I am looking for considerate roommates during the week at late hours (but I'll make up for it during weekends). Occasionally, there will be a visitor from Amsterdam, but he/she is very considerate and respectful. However, an ensuite is required as I don't want to bother my roommates with my guest. Furthermore, I know that in Sydney there are apartments with gyms/swimming pools. If informed, this is a plus. I'll also be working close to Martin Place. A good public transport connection is a must. non-smoker, respectful, considerate and kind (supposedly funny).
We're a couple from the UK moving over to Aus to experience a new lifestyle. We're 26 and 27 years old. We love to exercise and live an active life and can't wait to be near a beach. We're a sociable couple who are looking to live with similar people. We promise we're very tidy and are great to live with!
My name is Koyal! I am a student in my last year of uni. I like to keep to myself. Love to cook, love going to the beach and also love a glass of wine over a deep and meaningful chat. I tend to be very neat and tidy and would love the same from others 😌
*Young professional Australian couple looking for one or two nice housemates to share clean unfurnished house with in the inner-west area and surrounds* Laura and I are a couple who have moved to Sydney after I have accepted a full-time professional role working for an engineering services company in the CBD. Laura is a law graduate and hospitality professional having worked at some of the best bars and restaurants in Australia. We're kind and genuine people who are quiet but like to have fun too. We're in our mid 20's and are a polite, clean and respectful couple who like to live a somewhat healthy lifestyle, we are non-smokers, like to cook (well, Laura likes to cook) and go to the gym, but like going out and enjoying good food (cheese especially), coffee, wine and whisky occasionally. We pay our rent on time and take great pride in our home and it's presentation. We also come with a bunch of furniture, tv and unit, a full kitchen and refrigerator. We're not after a party house, but are up for occasional casual hanging out with our housemates. If your'e after something similar, send us a message for more info. Rohan and Laura :D
Hello :) I'm Fred, 23 years old, freshly graduated and will be relocating from Adelaide to Sydney for full time work in the CBD as a graduate lawyer. I'm quiet, tidy and considerate. I love animals, and am passionate about my nerdy hobbies :) Ideally, I am looking to share an apartment within Inner or surrounding suburbs, with convenient public transport to the CBD. I would mostly consider myself an introvert, and so do value both your privacy as well as my own. With that being said, I do treasure meaningful friendships and thoughtful conversations! To give you an idea of my personality, some of my favourite films include: The Intouchables, Drive, The Place Beyond the Pines, Memento, and of course all of the classics like Forrest Gump and Shawshank Redemption. Please shoot me a message if you have a suitable apartment, or if you're also hunting for apartments and think we'd be a good fit!
Hi Im Tyson I moved to Sydney about a year ago for work, I’m a helicopter engineer on the rescue helicopters at bankstown airport and have decided to move closer to the city. I consider myself a bit of a joker and fun to be around. Can be serious when the occasion calls for it though. Have always paid my bills on time and am usually ahead by a month or so. I’m looking for a nice place to live for atleast the next 6 months. But to me the housemates are just as important as the house. Aiming for a somewhat social house but somewhere where i can also have my own space. Ideally housemates in their 20s I have furniture for a room but will take the right furnished place so Pretty flexible . I have a motorcycle which I’d prefer to store under cover but this isn’t essential. Looking forward to hearing from you
Hey guys, Super excited to be coming to Sydney in July as a Chemical Engineering student at UNSW!! I had worked really hard at my transfer college to be able to gain an advanced standing entry into UNSW, and am in a super happy place in my life right now that those hours paid off! --About me as an individual: I was born in India but have spent my schooling years from 3rd grade onward in Singapore. I've been really passionate about Chemical Engineering since 9th grade and aim to develop a revolutionary polymer some day. Super fond of cooking too, and I think that's just an extension of my passion for chemical engineering related things. Many more such extensions are yet to be discovered! Right at the onset, I would like to tell you - I proudly hold politically incorrect opinions on many of the sensitive topics like feminism, income equality, religion acceptance etc. AND as much as I ABSOLUTELY LOVE to debate, if I begin to realize that the debate would grow nasty soon, I back out immediately. I genuinely RESPECT every person and every opinion but I CAN'T AGREE to every person and every opinion. Exploring and adventure is my addiction. I am always up for a plan to go camping, cycling (I love cycling) or motor-biking (the best). Not a huge fan of trekking but I have always enjoyed it with good company and on a decent route. --About me as a flat-mate: I am a super organized guy; when I arrive at Sydney, you'll see how I will unpack 30kgs of things from my mid-sized luggage. Sometimes, I genuinely consider making a YouTube video tutorial on how to pack lol. I cook almost all my meals, but I'll be honest, I am no Gordon Ramsay. I am right there with those who cook to survive. Don't get me wrong though, my hygiene standards are all international standards compliant. I would love to have occasional fiestas where we chat, have some nice home-cooked meals and just cool the week's load off. If it hasn't come across yet, I am big-time an engineer at heart and I would gladly fix technical issues around the house. GLADLY. Been in charge of that at my home all my life and I have the solutions to almost 80% of everyday technical issues that arise in a house such as, WiFi/Computer/Android(not IOS) related, or related to toilet flushes, electrical wiring etc. --- So, That would be all about me. I will be completely honest, I don't have too much experience sharing houses, just of 1 month when I shared a house with a close friend, so I guess it doesn't exactly count. But trust me, I am a really easy-going and super accommodating guy. I believe I have the potential to be a great flat-mate but I would still insist that we speak over Skype so that you get an opportunity to ask anything to your future flat-mate. Thanks a lot for considering me! Have a great day and hopefully, we can speak soon!
My name is Emily, 28 y/o English girl (NOT a backpacker!) I have been in Sydney for just over 2 years now. I work in customer service, either early mornings or late evenings (always good when you're sharing a bathroom to be on different schedules!). Super tidy, pretty clean. Not a party animal, but enjoy a night out every now and then. Looking for a chill environment where I can relax with a glass of wine and chat rubbish with housemates, or complain about how tired I am over a strong coffee in the mornings. :) On my days off you will either find me exploring the city, on a road trip, down the beach, or sleeping... Able to move ASAP.
Hey I'm new to the country. Moved here from Johannesburg - South Africa. I work for Amazon in the technology division. I am a very easy going individual. At home I am clean and enjoy cooking, series and music. For now my main priority is a place close to work until I find my feet.
Hey I'm Adam! Little bit about myself- I'm an easy going 33 yr old who works full time in Online Marketing. I grew up in the Eastern Suburbs and love the beach lifestyle. When I'm not working, I love doing yoga, going to beach, travelling, and playing soccer. I'm pretty easy going at home. I would consider myself a clean and respectful housemate. My partying days are all but over and I like to go to bed early most nights of week. That being said, happy to share the odd drink or meal at home sometimes.
Hey! I‘m Yannick, a 24-year-old Videographer from Munich, Germany. I work Mo-Fr in a production company and would love to find a nice new appartment near the beach. Speaking of that, I like being outside, doing sports and shoot videos :) I‘m easy going and very clean so message me if you have a room available. Cheers!
I'm laid back, working full time as well as studying 2 nights a week (work and uni in the city) I'm a vegetarian, love to have a beverage or 10 on the occasion, organised and clean (not to over the top) loves my own space but also likes to socialise!
Hi there! I moved to Sydney from Brisbane a month ago and now work as a content writer for an online retailer. I am friendly, reliable, clean/tidy, respectful of other people’s space but more than happy to have a chat/meal/drink with others!
I am a fun-study loving guy. I like to meet new people. I am coming from India for an Internship of 6 weeks at the USyd. I love to cook and live neat and clean. I am always in for hanging out and exploring new places.
