Hi, I'm Tessa and looking for a place to stay. I'm a PhD student at UQ, so during the week I'm working at Uni and during the weekends I'm often out and about. I like a place with privacy so I can rewind when coming home. I also love the occasional chat to tell all the good and funny stories that happened that day. I am very tidy, so I appreciate it if my housemates are also like that. I'm looking for a room with own bathroom. A rental price between 200-250 AUD/week (depending on what bills are included) would be great. If there's a bit of extra storage so I can put my stuff away that would be great. I do have a car so parking (on or off street) would be great. Love to hear from you if you think it would be a match. Cheers, Tessa
Due to my last roster and trying to fit in viewing/meeting people/houses, I don't have a formidable 'Move-In' date set, ideally I would like to view/find a place before I fly out for 19 day rotation on 19th of March. With a move date (pending all parties happy) between 6th - 17th of April, before my start date with Corporate. ABOUT ME- I need to grow up and have a base. I am a single woman that is coming off FIFO work and heading for Corporate environment. I am an avid reader, budding pilot, love food/wine/coffee, travel and planning holidays (love this immensely), finding a good steak (cattle station girl), stockmarket and love getting dressed up for a good night out, considering my job was in jeans and steel caps! I try to be a bit of a gym addict as well :). WHAT RESIDENTIAL AREA/S AM I INTEREST IN- Prefer housing in areas close to public transport or short walk to there (as no vehicle). Areas interested in - Kangaroo Point, South Brisbane, Spring Hill and CBD... etc- areas close by to the city life and gym franchises or gyms in general within walking distance (with my type of work (project) early/late hours maybe be required frequently and would rather be in walking distance to my office (CBD)). WHAT TYPE OF TENANT/ROOM MATE/RENTER DO I SEE MYSELF AS- - I quiet, responsible and clean. - I am a non-smoker, non-party animal and have no pets. - I am active and like to cook (still teaching myself). I like a good laugh and have a sense of humor, I don't mind having a drink from time to time and have an extroverted personality. - I respect peoples belongings and boundaries. RANDOM PARTICULARS- - Ideally I am interested in sharing accommodation with one or two male/s (not that I am against renting with females, I just tend to get along better with the opposite sex), within or around the same age group (27-37) (Not into a frat house scenario or young hooligans partying insistently) Please note - I am not into uni accommodation or shared housing where there is 2+ people to a single room. - I currently do not possess a vehicle however have a license. - Part of living a nomadic live for the majority of my life I do not own any furnishings, however not opposed to purchasing such things, however at this point in time highly interested in furnished (fully/partial) establishments. - Prefer to possibly team up with another renter and rent a property to a mutual liking. Thank you Cassandra
Super easy-going, chilled out gal studying Environmental Science at UQ and working part time in retail. Looking for a friendly and relaxed house with good public transport options and somewhere I can leave my car :) Things I love doing include going to festivals, heading down the coast on road trips, taking film photos, scuba diving, camping and generally being social/hanging out. Looking for a social house where I can get to know the housemates and maybe share a meal/drinks etc-I also come with a bonus collection of plants 😌 Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hey! I'm looking for a place within a walking distance to QUT where I work full-time as a researcher. I also give tutorials at UQ so would be nice if it's somewhere in-between. I'm social and fun to be around, I train with the UQ Olymic Handball team and I like hiking, yoga, and outdoors activities. I'm usually quite busy and quiet during the week but sometimes I like to have a sneaky beer with housemates after work or go along for a boogie on the weekend! so I'd like to live with social housemates but not in a party house, somewhere to feel comfortable to come back to after a day of work., so respect, tidiness and above all keeping the house clean. Hit me up and I'll get back to you asap :-) Omar
Hey my future flatmates, I'm an easygoing Finn with heaps of life experience when it comes to travelling and working abroad. I am a curious person and have a really wide array of interests and I like anything regarding extreme sports, arts, and sciences. This means that I have some topic to talk about with everyone and I love to hear and share good stories. I always aim to carry my own weight and that reflects also to my communal living habits. I always clean my own mess and a little more in order to keep the harmony. I love proper coffee, cooking breakfast, reading varying literature, extreme sports, and nature. Usually I'm always up for spontaneous activities like sports, cooking or parties. Letters of recommendation from my previous flatmtes and girlfriends on request. If you need any further information, just hit me up. Cheers, Teemu
Working professional. Very relaxed and easy to talk to. Can make cocktails or drink wine and cheese. Not a party goer any more but always keen for a bbq or beach run. Don’t want to live near the train lines. As where I live currently I’m losing sleep. Also I’d pay a little extra to have a car park under cover. I also have a washing machine, fridge, tv and bed coming with me.
I'm from Scotland working full time in the CBD! I'm fun, easy going love to socialise and chat but also very respectful of others and there privacy! Looking to make somewhere home for the next few months.

I am a proud mother of 3 grown-up children (23, 21, 20 yrs) and they lives independently. Other than that, people thinks I am funny when I am literally being myself :-) I am super duper easy going, friendly, an ice breaker and fun should be my middle name! 😊. Wait, one last thing is I am a cook. A good damn cook!

I'm 19 years old, looking for a decent place to move in as soon soon as possible woohoo. I work 6 days a week and I'm very friendly. I'm pretty much a neat freak, you don't have to worry about a messy house. I am a peruvian student who dreams about studying acting in Australia, and this year I will make it possible. I am organized, accepting and try to have as much fun as I can in every possible way. This will be my first step in my adventure and I am looking for people that will like to be a part of it. I come with a fat cat that follows me everywhere I go
I mainly keep quietly to myself but also love to socialise when I have the time. I run a small business and will be returning to my 5th year of Architecture at UQ in July. I work from home so its essential that I have a high speed internet connection of 30mbps+ with plenty of data, and im happy to pay an excess to accommodate this. I am VERY clean and tidy. Extremely respectful and polite person. Tech wizard, I can fix ANY issue you're having with your computers or IT anytime for free. I will be bringing a small router (not a modem, the box the main internet connection plugs into) to create my own WiFi network in the house (if thats okay, it will not effect your systems or performance at all) for a VPN and security features that you're welcome to join and use. I generally use more electricity than the average person so I will be tracking all of my power usage to pay my share of electricity fairly. Depending on the living arrangements and/or space restrictions I am happy to share my 55" 4K HDR TV with the house. When I use a space I make sure I leave it the way I found it, if not cleaner. Great with kids as I have an infant nephew. I dont mind moving somewhere with kids, as long as they don't yell too much. Very handy with tools and household repairs or maintenance.
To begin with I am very mature, goofy and fun to be around. I am respectful of others properties, respectful of others ideologies and beliefs and is well behaved. However I can be fun, energetic and kind hearted. I will also pay rent on time so that wouldn't be a problem for you. I am a Student and currently seeking a job, i enjoy reading, watching movies and catching up with mates. Hopefully you can get to know me more.

Hi, My name is Bridgitte :) I'm currently looking for a housemate to share a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with. I am a friendly, professional, mature 27 year old and I'm looking for a like-minded person to share with. I am preferably wanting to live with a FIFO worker as I do prefer my own space most of the time but can also be social and would love to spend time with you, cooking or having some drinks or exploring great food places in Brisbane. I would like to live in a building with an on-site gym and pool and do like more modern apartments. I have a small pug (named Greg) so the apartment also needs to be pet friendly and have a balcony. He is completely house-trained though and I vacuum regularly. I am living on the Gold Coast right now but am just about to start a job in Bowen Hills so looking to live as close to there as possible and am ready to move in any time from the 20th of March. I enjoy having friends over and cooking for them, having a couple of wines on a night in, netflix binge sessions, finding great coffee and restaurants, going to the gym, taking the pugster to the beach, hiking, baking, yoga, pretty much happy being indoors and outdoors just depending on my mood. Look forward to hearing from you.
My name is Lucas, I currently live in Bundaberg but I am starting uni in May I am doing a Batchelor of Animation at SAE Institute and would like to get down early and settle in. I’m quiet and respectful of others and spend most of my free time sketching. I am hoping to find a place with internet and bills included in rent. I will be going to uni in West End so anywhere that has public transport and isn’t too far from there would be great. I will be travelling down this Thursday 22nd March so would love to have a look at what you have, also possibly the next Thursday after if I don’t find anything. Will move down ASAP if the right place is avail. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers Lucas.
I'm a Singaporean guy looking to pursue my undergrad studies in Business Management at UQ next year (2018) around July. As living on-campus can be costly, i'm hoping to find some flatmates for shared accommodation off-campus. I'll be studying full-time in UQ for a period of 2 years and some of my hobbies include football, movies, and outdoor activities of any kind. As this is my first time to Aussie, i'm really open to meeting new people and getting to know the country better. Also i'm down to backpack round Aussie with others who are keen during my free time/vacation break as well!
