Hi! My name is Laura. I'm 24, just arrived in Brisbane and looking for a place within the next two weeks. I'm into an active lifestyle. I'm not a every week party goer, but up for an adventure every now and then. Respectful, tidy and like to keep to myself a lot but also looking to make some friends! Looking for roommates who will be down with me having visitors (not very often) as I have just moved from SA. Sorry I'm allergic to cats.
Wanting to share with mature professional/s, non-smokers only pls. A furnished room is needed, ensuite would be great too. Essential: Car Parking off-street & Internet/WiFi I'm a very tidy person, but not OCD, would like similar housemate. If you have crazy ex's or family members pls give me a miss. I don't do BS or drama! Very easy to get along with & needing to cut costs while working part time & building my digital marketing business. Resident pets okay. call or msg ... oh fore sux sux nine oh too fore sux oh
I consider myself a pretty down to earth friendly person who is easy to get along with. I Enjoy my down time but also equally love to get outdoors and socialise. I am studying at UQ and ideally would like to live somewhere nearby. I take my studies seriously so am not looking for a party house, but rather a chilled environment with another pet lover. I have one trained 3 year old tenterfield terrier who adores people and other dogs. Not into drama, but housemates that possess mature adult respect and communication skillls. Am happy to provide references if desired. Cheers!
Full-time UQ student doing Education, night owl, not a party person, but board games and beer any day. Ok with pets and smokers, not ok with kids and people who don't know headphones exist. I have been living in share houses for the past three or so years so I know how to manage a bathroom cleaning roster and how to not accidentally eat housemates' food :)
Hello! I'm Leisa and I'm a 30 year old American, getting my masters degree at UQ. I've been living in Brisbane for a year and a half. My partner Aaron is 33, Australian, and works in IT. We have both lived in share houses before (I currently live with another couple) and are very friendly and easy going. We'll never say no to a glass of wine or a movie night, but also like to have quiet time to study and work on side projects. We would love to have some housemates who could also be friends. We love watching movies and having game nights, as well as going out for the occasional dinner or drink on weekends. We'll always keep common areas tidy and are happy to do our share of chores. We'll never steal your food or leave dirty dishes lying around! Also hoping to have housemates who are welcoming to some rare overseas visitors who may come to stay with us.
I'm reliable, trustworthy and respect other people's privacy. I'm a quiet person who enjoys reading, writing, watching movies and going for walks. I go to the gym and have a healthy diet. I don't socialize much although I like the company of kindred spirits. At the moment I'm not working but I am a qualified language teacher and also a published author.
Hi! We're two students from Norway trying to find a place to live in Brisbane for 4 months. We have a budget on $450 p/w. The apartment has to be furnished. We would love to live by st.lucia, milton or brisbane city! Eva and I are tidy people, and we promise we will take care of your apartment. We both study at UQ.
__Leased a place till 06/2017__ We are a working full-time couple in mid 30-40. No kids, no pets, not much stuff, non-smokers. Considerate, quiet, clean and tidy people looking for a quiet corner (en-suite/granny flat/studio). Room is not a problem. I'm 155 cm high and we're both quite fit, so two of us take as much space as some people alone :))) I cook 2-3 times a week, but without suffocating the whole house with garlic or anything like that and with instant kitchen cleaning after the process. And we hope to find a place where the fresh air and clean space are valued :) We need a place quite close to public transport as we don't have a car (no parking needed). Ideally would like to team-up with another couple with same views. The budget is slightly stretchable depending on the location, furnishing and bills.
I'm a pretty laid back guy that gets along with most people. I'm generally pretty quiet and always clean up after myself. Studying Chemical Engineering/Chemistry at UQ. When I'm not at uni I'm usually working as a cook. Used to live in Perth and moved to Brisbane 2 years ago. Still don't know too many people so 100% down for socialising with flatmates.
Hellooo. I'm a 34 y/o Canadian/Australian working/studying in Brisbane. I'm pretty easy going, generally quiet, but always up for a chat/coffee/beer. Into running and cycling, traveling, kitesurfing, reading, computer stuff. I'm working part-time in the CBD and studying for some IT certifications. I can definitely commit to 3 months, but its very possible that I'll be hanging around Brisbane longer than that. I've been saying something like that for about 6 years now. I'm pretty open to location. The main things I'm looking for are a quiet study area (I have a desk and chair I can bring), furnished (don't have a bed), a place to park my car, a secure place for my 2 bikes, and of course cool flatmate(s).
Hello! :) My partner and I are looking for an affordable granny flat or self contained studio suitable for two people with rent under $230 a week which will be split between us. It does not matter to us how small the accomodation is as long as it has private cooking facilities, bathroom, onstreet or offstreet parking and ALL BILLS must be included in the price. If there is air conditioning that would be a plus too! :) At the date of the move in july my partner will be 19 and i will be a month away from 18. We are both responsible, reliable and quiet tenants. My partner is a vet nurse and will be working full time while ,I myself, will be studying law/creative industries at QUT as well as having a parttime job. We are both christians and have good morals such as not going out drinking and partying pr smoking or using coarse language so we are both mature and are looking for a suitable, affordable, private place to stay to study and work. We are looking for somewhere to stay for over a year +. If you think your place is similiar to what we are looking for ,please send me a messsage :) thankyou so much for your time and hope to hear from you soon.
I'm calm, clean, tidy, respectful, open minded, professional happy dude. I play the acoustic guitar and enjoy nature. I've been sharing houses since 2010. I'm a non preacher vegetarian, if it makes any difference. I can provide many different refs. I'm looking for private room on a shared house for around $200/week, for the 3 months. Furnished
Until recently I worked in FIFO as Environmental Professional, now have a job in Brisbane and looking to move closer. I'm Irish, pretty laid back and sociable.
I'm in my last year of uni and work part time. I am organised and like a clean home but am not uptight. I think a house should be somewhere you can relax and have fun with flat mates and friends. I'm looking to live with nice people - pretty simple.
I'm a working professional who is Quiet, Clean and Tidy, a Good Cook and non-smoker. Sounds like a dating site spiel! Haha. Anyhoo, I'm moving to Brisbane for work and want to share for 4 months while I source a house for myself and my Dog who will remain in Victoria until I find a place and my previous lease runs out. My new work is in Toowong, so ideally a 10-20 min drive max from there please.
Hi guys and gals, My name's Kris, I'm a full-time student at UQ and work part time. I enjoy music (I play guitar and produce music electronically), reading, and having the odd drink on weekends. I'm really easy-going, don't like drama, and am easy to live with. I'm looking for student accom near UQ, so if you have that or know of any, send me a message, Cheers
Hi My names Dan, I have just moved to Brisbane due to a job offer. I am a very friendly guy who loves to meet new people and socialise. I am a very good cook and clean up after myself. I am looking for a bedroom with an on suit and something nice and modern. I love to go to the gym and play golf.
Hey, my name is Tobi and i am an international exchange student from Germany. I just arrived in Brisbane 4 days ago and are now looking for a nice place to stay over the next 4 months. I am easy to live with, like to explore Australia and have fun during my time here. I am very socialized an easy to get along with. It would be great, if we could set up an inspection and we get to know each other. I am sure you will get along with me pretty well. I am looking forward to hear from you! Cheers Tobi
I am a house proud, domesticated professional who works too many hours. I have just moved to Brisbane to take a role with a CBD business, and am looking for a place until my wife works out her current contract in Perth in about 6 months time. I don't smoke, and seldom drink. I like to keep fit (when my stupid working hours allow me), and really enjoy the great outdoors. My culinary skills are not that flash, but I am looking forward to improving on them over the next 6 months. I have spent the last two years sailing across the Pacific with my wife on our boat, and am now looking for some extra-curricular activity to replace that excitement - not sure what that will be yet, but I am looking forward to doing the research. I am looking for a place that is an easy public transport commute to the CBD, sharing with a mature (in age or mind set) person of either gender.
I'm a neat and organised person who is not afraid to live with either males or females. I'm still new-ish to Brisbane and I like to explore and visit what is around. I tend to keep myself busy with work/gym and I intend to pick up studying again once I settle in a location. I enjoy a nice beer (or wine and cheese - cause you know - I'm a girl) on a Friday/Saturday night but don't be surprised if you see me binge watching Suits or Game of Thrones (Gotta rewatch it before the next season FYI) on the weekend. I can keep to myself or be your best friend - Whichever you suit is sweet with me.
I just graduated and I am currently working. I am a clean person and enjoy meeting and socialising with new people. I am very easy going and have a very loud personality.I also love to cook.
I am currently doing my Honours in marine science and chemistry at UQ. I'm clean and tidy, and would love a housemate who is reasonably clean as well. I bake occasionally (so you get lots of yummy goodies!) and I love music and photography, as well as being active. I have no pets, however I would more than enjoy households with pets(dogs/cats/snakes/birds/fish/literally anything). I'm pretty studious hence I'm not looking for a party house, however I love meeting new people and making new friends. It will be more than okay to have friends over occasionally! I am also looking for housemates with whom I can actually hang out and chill with from time to time. I am also looking for a place that will be reasonably easy to get to via public transport to/from uni and the city.
I am brazilian 23 years old. Currently doing Masters at UQ I am generally very chilled, I love having fun, but I am also very responsible at the same time. So I have a good balance between work and entertainment. Ideally flatmates would also be chilled, fun, outgoing and hardworking as well. Would be also ideal to be studying at UQ as well (BSc, Msc, PhD)

Hey Im a 30 year old professional female from Melbourne. I have recently moved to Bris to begin studying for my career change and looking for a 'home' to live in (cliche but true). I want to share a house with people who are up for a wine, dinner, chats etc. I have shared plenty of homes and spent a fair but of time time in Bris over the last four years, so have a small social network already. I am pretty easy going and enjoy the company of most people. I like to be social, but anticipate i will be pretty busy next year with studies, placements and working. Would love to chat further if i sound like someone that could fill your room! Cheers Meg - worth mentioning, i am looking for a room that is reasonably large so i can fit a desk etc in there.
Hi people! I'm a 27 year-old uni student at UQ majoring in journalism who is looking for socially like-minded, drama-free housemates around my age. You'll find me to be someone who has their life together where I have clear goals and aspirations while working to achieve them. I'm also a producer and reporter, I do CrossFit and morning runs in my downtime, very passionate, ambitious and reliable but most of all fun to be around over a beer, buffalo wild wings and a karaoke machine! Oh, I'm also well travelled having lived independently between New York and Washington DC for a year and I'd like to think I'm good at home cooking ... just look at Karl Stefanovic! If you think we'd get along nicely, not just as housemates but also potential friends, then swing me a message. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Chris
Aww, what? Writing about myself? Dammit. ok, ok I'm a guy from America who has been in Australia for over 12 years. I have Russian heritage and like to clean my own dishes just after using them. I finished my electrical apprenticeship about 10 months ago , and moved to Brisbane soon after when I fell in love with Zouk partner dancing. I've stayed in the one house the entire time I've been in Brisbane so far. I like meeting people and talking to them. Also having fun and making them laugh ;) My girlfriend stays with me month on, month off and loves attending zouk events. She is learning Russian with me, but she's also working on German while finishing studies.
I'm a fairly chilled bloke with a giant pupper. I'm clean, I can cook, and I will always do housework. Uni student by day but I also work part-time. I love being social but I also love doing my own thing. Doggo is also quite friendly, and is entirely my responsibility - I would not expect others to look after him.
Hello guys :) I'm a 23 years old post-grad student from Munich. I'm looking for a flat with sociable, young (20s or 30s) and easy-going flatmates who would be in for sometimes having dinner, watching a movie or drinking a coffee/beer/wine together. I'm studying at UQ for this Semester and unfortunately I have to leave already at the 1st of July. Since I started to study 7 years ago I lived always in a shared flat, I just like to have people around to whom you say more than just "hello". I like to do sports and I would like to travel on some days to see the Gold or the Sunshine Coast. I've been already 3 times abroad from Germany for a longer time - I studied in Portugal for 2 Semesters (which was the best experience I could have made) , 1 semester in England and I worked in the US for a couple of months. Everywhere I lived in flats with wonderful, open-minded people and with most of them I became close friends. If someone of you is searching a flatmate like me and if it is okay for you that I just can stay for 4 months, I would be more than happy to meet you guys! :) Thank you, Richard

Hi, I'm a student from Mexico studying chemical engineering. I am very cheerful, open and organized. This is my first time in Australia and Brisbane and I'm looking forward to meeting new people and having an incredible experience! I will be studying fulltime at UQ for 1 semester, but might be planning on finding a part-time job.
Hi everyone! I will be starting full time work at Brisbane from February for a year with Nestle (free Kitkats and Allens ;) and I'm looking to find a place close to the CBD preferably with my own bathroom/ensuite and a parking space. I am a super laidback person, I enjoy my own private times but also love to work out, cook myself a balanced meal, super keen on being clean and some level of tidiness, love listening to music and don't mind having a good chat.
Hi! I'm Araminta (Minty) 23, easy going, love animals, music (so many gigs, so little time) and food! (Food-based adventures also good). I'm fairly laid back, respectful and love a casual drink/chat with just about anyone. I work 3 days a week doing PR/events in the CBD so access to a city bus is a priority. I also love walking, swimming and rock climbing so adventure buddies would be good! I do have metal plates in my legs which means I get around on crutches a bit, but am fully independent and don't need no man (or woman or child, really) to help me with most things. Just figure upfront is best 😊 I'd like to find a place ASAP so please message me if you think I'd suit yours 😊 Anyway, I hope to find some new housemates and look forward to meeting you!
Hey! I'm French but studying in England. I am coming to the University of Queensland for a year on exchange, where I will be contributing to a research project in Neuroscience. I have lived in five different countries, and love travelling yet have never been to Australia so am very excited to explore the city and its surroundings. I am very sociable and outgoing, love meeting new people and hope to make the most out of Brisbane! As I have been sharing flats/rooms for several years now, I do however know how to stay clean and respectful. I am hoping to find a place near central Brisbane with good connections to the St Lucia campus.
Hey I'm Lorrin. I just moved to Brisbane to work and eventually start university at UQ. I have a temporary place at the moment so I'm looking for a more stable address. I'm pretty easy-going and a little awkward, I keep to myself but I'm sociable and get along with pretty much anybody. I can take care of myself; cleaning, washing, household duties. I am respectful and appreciate respect in return. I'm down with fun and games and can have a good time but also respect people's privacy and personal space. I can afford 150-170$/week. I'm super keen to live in Brisbane permanently and hope I can find some good people to get to know.
Easy going. I clean up after myself. Generally not up late, early start for work. Keen to meet new people. Lived in Australia my whole life, moved to Brisbane from Adelaide age 10. Love relaxing and having a beer.
Recently graduated engineer working in the CBD. Love to gym, play soccer and touch, cook and watch movies. I am neat, organised and great at dishwashing lol.
I'm a very laid back easy going person. I train Capoeira and like to spend my time relaxing with friends or heading outdoors. I prefer a tidy place with harmony and EQ. I'm a respectful housemate and will always pay rent & bills on time. I have a dog (Ziggy) & a cat (Dave) who are both a little older and house trained. I also have furniture I can bring with me: couch, TV, washing machine, vacuum cleaner and other odds and ends. I have some flexibility in locations and budget, but I really prefer to live with people closer to my age range: 30 - 40, and places that are neat and tidy. My ideal situation is a place that is tidy, housemates that are sociable but not party animals.
My name is Luke, I'm a 27 year old public servant. I also have a second casual job which I work at once or twice per week, and I'm studying history part time. I keep to myself a bit, but would still like to live with another person or a group of flatmates. I love a clean and tidy home, so I'm pretty good with cleaning etc. Love reading, the theatre, walking, watching movies and documentaries, good food and great conversation.
I am a 32 yo professional who works in the CBD fulltime. I'm a very clean person, quiet during the week but like social drinks over the weekend. I have a cute little black cat called Boo and she's housetrained and very friendly and loves a good pat! . I'm very geeky, I love sci fi, anime and reading. I am also very musical and used to be a singer and I'm not one to take myself too seriously :) I prefer somewhere near public transport as I don't drive.
I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at UQ in his final year. Looking for a room to move in immediately located in St Lucia. I am not a party person so looking for a nice and quiet house to share. I work casually for UQ as an International student ambassador. I do volunteer work at Australian Red Cross as well. So I am busy throughout the whole week. My hobbies are cricket, music, gym, soccer, movies, tv shows etc.
I am a 23-years-old girl from Spain, who is going to study a 1.5-year Master on International Law in the University of Queensland. I believe that each person doing small things can make a difference. I am very open-minded, respectful, adaptable and clean. I am spontaneous person and prefer not to have everything planned. I love meeting new people, especially from different countries and cultures and learn from them. Travelling is my greatest passion and I love sharing my bagpacking stories. I am learning how to play the guitar and also photography and I would like to keep up with it in Australia. I have been doing various sports and dancing my whole life and since two years ago I am into yoga and I love it. I like cities because there are always many things to do and cultural events going on, but I also need sometimes to leave into a more calm place to connect with nature and especially I like going to the sea. Music lover, books eater and beggining of a writter. I am also a good cooker of Spanish food and I like to make meals with my flatmates. I would like to live not too far from the UQ in a vivid area and with more than one flatmate.
I am a 27 year old Masters student at UQ. I am from Fl, US (hold the Trump jokes, I am still coping haha). Looking for a laid back, tidy, and comfortable place to call home. I am interested in a single room, unfurnished, and with no more than 2 other housemates who are down to earth, responsible, and positive. I am a pretty laid back person, independent, yet social. If this suits you, I'd be greatly interested in scheduling a viewing. I am looking to move within the next week. Look forward to hearing from you! Thanks
I am easy to get along with, very clean, reliable and friendly. I am currently studying a Diploma in Financial Planning and I'm looking for someone to rent an apartment with near/in Southbank, Brisbane. I'm looking for someone who is respectful, clean, reliable and easy to get along with.
