I've just finished my first year of uni studying design and am looking to move before the start of next semester. I am currently working part time both as a waitress and a nanny and am planning to move to England mid next year to study so only looking to move in for the 6ish months before I leave. I'm easy-going, friendly and tidy. I spend most of my time socialising, working on art projects and volunteering at festivals.
The basics; I hit the gym most days of the week and love my training but don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a couple of drinks just as much. I really enjoy my sport and watching the NRL and hopefully you share that interest as well so you don't mind it being on the TV during footy season (or even going to a few games) I work Mon-Fri in the corporate world south of Brisbane, so weekdays I'm always a bit of a nana and early up/early to bed. I’m happy to be social, but respect your space and hope for the same in return. Sometimes after a long day/week, I like to cook my dinner and retreat to my room and watch Netflix. I will always respect you if you choose to do the same. I'm still trying to find my feet in Brisbane so would like to find a flatmate who doesn't mind sharing a meal/drink/shooting hoops/going to the gym/heading out every now and then. I have my own bedroom furniture and happy to contribute or purchase any other furniture. My own bathroom is a requirement and I need parking, with happy for that to be on-street. I'm also happy to pay a little extra in rent each week if it means I can secure the master bedroom, (but not a deal breaker with the right flatmate) Move date is around the end of March/start of April, getting in early! Happy to start a new place with someone or move into an already established place. If you think you'd be interested, let me know :)
I'm starting Engineering at UQ St Lucia in February and am looking for someone to share accommodation with. I'm moving down from the Sunshine Coast. I'm vegetarian, down to earth, partially quite (but very friendly, especially to those I get to know!), and love being outdoors! I also enjoy watching shows and gaming. Looking for a place to stay that is affordable and won't break my budget! (Hopefully a place close to uni if it exists on this earth!) I have a cockatiel, but no large pets.
Hi my name is Andrew, Im 25 years old & work full time as an Events Manager. I am pretty quiet and reserved, but still super approachable and friendly. I am more content to just sit and watch TV/movies or happy to reside in my own room. I like to think i am very clean and tidy, i really enjoy living in a clean space and am more than willing to pitch in to get stuff done around the house. Looking for somewhere for the next 12+ months and possibly longer. I look forward to meeting new potential housemates :)
I work full-time, gym 4-5 times a week so I'm barely home except on weekends, i'm a homebody. I have a mini poodle named Bella who is shy at first but once she knows you she will give unconditional love. Bella is good with other dogs. Current lease ends 20th jan so looking new place /housemates. Easy going, loves a good chat but respects personal space.
We are a New Zealand and a Brazilian couple looking to move into a new place together. I (Dana) am currently in Japan. I have been living here for the past 5 months and will return to Brisbane just after Christmas while Rodolfo is working Monday to Friday. We are both extremely chill people who work during the week and like to relax after work and meet with friends on weekends. We keep our mess restricted to our room haha and would like to have a good relationship with all of our housemates. We are looking to move into a new place before I return so if you have space in your house for an easygoing couple like us please feel free to send us a message. Thanks, Dana & Rodolfo
I enjoy plants, the outdoors and trashy comedy. I work full-ish time and am studying my masters part time, so I can be quiet at times. I am a nurse and work shift work. I am clean and considerate, Iexpect the same from flatmates. I am looking for a small house/apartment/granny flat with no more than two others. I can get along with pretty much anyone. I am looking for a place that is a home - where sometimes TV shows are binged and dinner had over some wines. I own a washing machine, TV and microwave for communal areas plus little bits and bobs. I am looking to stay for 6 months or more. Move dates are flexible. If you are interested in having me a part of your household or teaming up please contact me.
My name is Nick. I work full time at an office job in the city and I'm generally pretty quiet and very clean. Looking for someone considerate and easy going to live with. I game and work out a lot, so if we have similar interests that would be a bonus.
I try keep active like a good chat and would be great to have someone here to help me learn to cook more and be social with. If you become my room mate I give privacy when needed and great company also! I struggle at writing things about myself but always willing to answer questions!
I'm a part-time cafe all-rounder and a part-time music festival photographer. Interests-wise I have way too many to fit into one life, but am temporarily focusing on travel, rock climbing, plant-based cooking/nutrition, trying and failing to write a novel, and, of course, music festivals and photography ;) trying to balance work and play and design a life full of conscious hedonism and creativity, with minimal responsibility beyond paying my bills on time. I've been in and out of Brisbane for ten years in between stints of travel, and lived in many share houses...and have now reached the point where I want to actually feel at home with likeminded people. I live minimally, quietly and sustainably, but enjoy making friends with my housemates and occasionally doing stuff together; it's so rare to wind up in that gem of a living situation, and I'm keen to find it! Having been in many share houses, I'd also like to think I've refined the art of being tidy and considerate without being preachy about it. Am therefore looking for a place that's nice (not a dive, but also not grossly luxe and expensive) with people who are chill but respectful, and in my age bracket (mid-late twenties or early thirties); sorry young students, but I just don't wanna deal with more dirty kitchens and 3am wake-ups coming home from the Valley. Need to be close to frequent public transport or bikeways (as I work in Toowong and don't drive); bonus points if the house has a gas-top stove and area to stretch out a yoga mat or practise twirling my contact staff, or is close to farmer's markets and/or co-ops. If you've been patient enough to read all this and think I sound like your kind of housemate, I'm keen to hear from you :)
Hey! I'm Alex, I'm an outgoing, creative 21 year old. Currently working and studying Creative Industries at QUT. In my spare time I'm a photographer and visual artist. I love all things music and enjoy going to gigs. LOVE the outdoors and am constantly heading to the sunny coast on my days off. I'm pretty laid back and easy to get along with. I am preferably looking for someone who enjoys actually spending time with their roommates ie. having some cheeky wines/ beers and the odd uno game or dinner night. I am clean, tidy and respectful of other peoples personal space as well as property and expect the same in return. A little more about me, I'm a bit of a morning person, love plants, cooking and keeping active 🌴 More keen on finding good house mates than the perfect house, so i'm quite flexible on suburbs
We're friendly, and pay rent and bills on time. We treat the common areas with respect. If you like enthusiastic conversations about hilarious topics we know very little about, you'll love us. I have a rad dog. Looking for a place with a yard, fencing, that allows dogs inside and outside. LGBT+ friendly.
I just moved to Brisbane from the Gold Coast and work for QCAT in the city so looking for a furnished room (just need a queen size bed) that is close to buses into the city. I am very clean and responsible and ideally looking for social housemates as I don't know anyone in Brisbane other than work people. I am fun, outgoing and love to get out and about. Would be great to meet flatmates that are friends to enjoy a meal or a drink with occassionally however it's not absolutely necessary and I understand we all have our own lives. Paying my rent on time each week is no problem at all but I have limited savings so cant afford to pay 4 weeks rent as a bond but could do 2 weeks bond. Looking to live with people that are chilled like myself and able to look after themselves and don't mind a drink at the pub occasionally. Would prefer not to live with students, unemployed, couples and definitely no crazy cat ladies thanks! I am ideally after a room with a queen bed, ceiling fan and built in wardrobe where I don't have to pay to park my car outside the house but can be flexible for the right place and right flatmates.
I'm from the California, USA and doing my graduate studies at UQ. Rather relaxed individual and will mainly be occupied with studies and working during my time in Australia. I prefer quiet spaces, totally chill with pets, all genders, and shared spaces. Interests range from sustainability studies, food, art/art history, theory... I travel often or whenever possible and I'm a non-smoker
Hey I’m Tristan I’m 20 years old and I enjoy socialising and the outdoors. I’m looking for a place with a group of easy going people who love good chats and great food. I work part time in hospitality and want to be an aspiring aircraft engineer.
Hey guys My name is maddy I am looking for a place to stay for myself partner and daughter who goes to school. My partner works full time and I'm looking to go back to work. Hoping for a whole property but let me no if a decent size granny flat also. My daughter goes to carina state school so if close to that would be even better. Thanks
I am a Canadian travelling to Australia on a working holiday visa beginning in January. I currently work as an auto mechanic, but I have previously worked and studied culinary arts in a high end restaurant. My hope is to return to this career path during my stay in Brisbane, and wouldn’t mind cooking dinner every now and again to show off my skills. I don’t smoke, and I am a relatively clean and organized person. I tend to fit well in any kind of social group so I’m easy to get along with. Overall I just try to have fun and just enjoy my time, as well as my time with others as much as I can, and try to get the most out of life, and hopefully this matches with a potential flatmate looking to take me in on my long term holiday!
Hi everyone! Im looking for a place my partner and I could move into. We both work early mornings (out the door before 6am) and don't stay out past 9pm so we are looking for someone who can respect our sleeping patterns. Im outgoing and love having a chat but also understand each other's need for space. Not much of a party animal however enjoy the occasional cheese and wine (and beer!). We would like to keep common areas clean. We always pay our bills on time. We also LOVE pets so if you have one that is definitely a bonus! Please send me a message if you have a property I might be interested in (Or we could find one together?!) Thanks for your help :)
Easy-going and open-minded. Always up for a conversation. Really organized, clean and considerate of others. I cook like the most basic dishes and my flatmates make fun of me all the time. Where I lack in cooking skills, I make up for with photography. So if anyone needs portraits for Tinder, I'm your dude. I try to go to the gym regularly. I'm a book and tea sort of dude and I'm always open for spontaneous travels/roadtrips. Ideally, I'd love to be around people who enjoy a good convo and have a good sense of humor. - I have a car - Studying FT & Working casually
Hey! I'm an Irish doctor looking to share a place with one or two easy-going people. I'm moving from Perth to Brisbane in late January as part of my training, and I would love to have something organized before then! I would prefer a house rather than an apartment if possible, and need parking. Ideally I would like to have air-con in the bedroom and my own bathroom as well, but I'm not too fussy about these. Let me know if you're looking for something similar!
Easy going easy to talk to non judgemental like a social drink i clean up I'm a little OCD with that not a bad thing really. I still go out seeing live bands festivals music taste is fairly broad. I've worked in retail at the same job for 10 years now. My cat called mouse is happy to stay in my room mostly but he has a very interesting character very friendly.
