Hi, I'm a graduate engineer moving from Adelaide to Sydney for almost 6 months (until about 11 Feb next year) for a short-term position. I'm looking for a place near work in Marrickville, or along the train line from there. What else am I looking for in a sharehouse? My top four in order are: 1. Location: Within about 20 min walking/public transport to Sydenham railway station is pretty much essential, although I may consider somewhere with a good bus connection along Victoria road. 2. Own space/privacy (see below). 3. Housemates I'm comfortable with, or better, get on with really well. Preferably also in your early or mid 20s (read below). 4. Car parking (On or off street). I want a good balance of my own space and time (including sleep!) with doing life together my housemates. So, what I expect and you, my housemates can expect of me is: both a respect for you, your privacy and space, as well as engagement in the life of the house together. I'm more than willing to pitch in on chores etc. A bit more about me: I'm friendly, a deep thinker, and an avid learner, so I enjoy do a good conversation. I'm into a bunch of nerdy stuff like getting lost in a good book, and board games, but don't let that put you off! I also quite like getting outdoors to see nature. Furthermore, I want to take time to explore what Sydney has to offer, and maybe take up a new hobby or something like that. I think fairness, reliability, and kindness are important.
Originally from New Zealand and have been here for 6 months. Clean, Friendly and Social. Work full time in a Call Centre for a computer repair company. Im quiet and spend most of my weekends out. During the week days just spend time relaxing after work.
Hi! I'm a freelance festival and event producer and I'm looking for a new place for me and my little pug. I often work from home and like a clean and tidy living and work space. When I'm not working on events I'm usually cycling or doing something active. I quite enjoy spending time in the garden so will happily do my share of or duties around the house. Im a pretty easy going person and quite partial to a beverage or two occasionally. I love a good laugh and intelligent conversation with interesting people, but also happy to keep to myself.
Hey, I'm a local Sydney Software Developer. Quiet, clean and tidy, hate dust (allergies), and only cook once or twice a week. Always excited to meet new people as well. Usually out and about playing a game of Basketball, Gym, out with friends or travelling abroad.
Bit about me, Im 32, building manager in the cbd, love going to the gym, eating fairly healthy and being outside. LOVE a good wine, i bring over about a dozen when/if i move in. I ride a motorbike and have a car so would love somewhere undercover for my bike, car can live on the street. Currently in Hurstville, but my new share house mate is very very odd so id like a normal house. I also miss the Inner West lived in Sydney for 6 years, mainly Newtown. I have a queensize bed, nice 3 seater couch, wooden dining table, fridge, pots, pans, cutlery etc. Id like to get a small dog so would love if that was a possibility.

I'm searching for a quiet place. I like to cook and to take care of the house, keeping it clean, tidy and comfortable. I'm collaborative and always willing to help. I like to share knowledge, experiences, and culture. I prefer to live in a private room, but I'm willing to accept shared in a spacious room with only 1 more person. Hi I'm Nick, I'm 24 and work full time in North Sydney. I'm currently living in Newtown/Marrickville and would like to find somewhere nearby. I've been at my current place for about 6 months and haven't had any issues paying rent or keeping the house clean. Looking for housemates that are more 'friends' than 'people that happen to live in a house together' (think 'family dinners', going out for drinks etc). I don't have any pets with me but if you do that would be a plus. I'm busy a few nights a week but don't mind having some time and space to myself and letting others have theirs. On the weekends I play sport, practice piano and go skating. Any other questions just let me know
I'm an early riser and I never go out later than 10:30PM. I'm rarely at the house as I'm very active outside. I have many hobbies like longboarding, rock-climbing, taekwondo, bouldering, reading and writing. I'm also fluent in English, Korean and capable of conversational Japanese. I'd be happy to share my interests and converse in your respective languages and/or have a language exchange. I like to live in quiet places as I come home to rest, however I love to meet people and love a good chat. When at home, I'm either reading or do house chores to wind down. Hope to meet with you soon!
My name is Marianne and I'm looking for a house/townhouse that is Pet Friendly. I work full time at UNSW in Kensington. I'm looking for flatmate/s to get a house together anywhere Eastern suburbs, or inner west. Currently rooming in Coogee in an apartment but looking to team up and find a pet friendly house/townhouse preferably with a backyard so that my hound Otis can come move back with me to Sydney (currently on extended holiday with parents). I'm a pretty laid back person. I love music, food, BBQs, hanging out with mates, the beach, movies. I'd love to have flatmates who like the odd social gathering at home, but just as open to quiet nights in. I'm also looking for flatmates who are cool with an inside dog. Otis is a 4 year old British Bulldog. He's pretty active, loves his walks and playtime and cuddles, but he's definitely in your face so whoever I team up with needs to love dogs. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, hit me up and we can chat further. Marianne
I'm very clean & tidy. I'm friendly and sociable but I also value my time alone. I work in the city full time & I have 2 tiny dogs, that are my fur babies. I need a place that is pet friendly & secure. We're looking for our new home.
French marine biology PhD student looking for a quiet place. Not here for partying and working full time at UTS.
A little about me: I'm nonbinary/pansexual and vegan. I'm currently studying a diploma of Fine art and hoping to do my bachelors once my degree is completed. I'm 19, but will be turning 20 on the 14th of this month. I'm originally from four hours north and moved to Sydney a year and a half ago for study and have been self supporting since. I am currently paying $250 a week in rent plus bills and have been doing so for the past year. I enjoy a good boogie and a drink but I'm generally pretty quiet in my own space and usually go out rather than have people over (and if I have people over it's almost always just one person). I'm neat and tidy and respectful of common areas and always pay bills on time. Always down for a chat but also respectful of people's space and need for quiet/alone time.
Hey, I'm Courtney. I'm 21. I'm super easy going and open minded. Quite mature and organized. Not much of a regularly party goer; won't be throwing any parties or anything. I much prefer kicking back at the end of day with a beer in hand. Otherwise, I love going to adventures and exploring the town, finding the best coffee spots and city views. Quick Points About Me: - Work Full-Time at everyone's fave Swedish Furniture Company. - Never missed a rent payment - or even been late, since I began renting when I was 18. - Super Independent and mature for my age. - Always organized, tidy and willing to clean up (or redecorate). - Crazy good with technology, so can always fix your tv, computer, internet connection etc. I'm moving from Perth later in the year, to start my new adventure in Sydney. Being transferred for work, so my employment is extremely stable. If you're looking for a reliable, easy going flatmate, I'm your guy! Please don't hesitate to hit me up :) P.S. LGBTQ+ Households preferred. Pet-Friendly (though I don't have any pets, I would love to eventually adopt a cat or dog)
Hey! Currently working full time as a IT Security analyst in Mascot, however I currently work in Circular Quay, I'm hopefully looking for a place that is close to a train station so I can get to either workplace/home as quick as possible. Feel free to contact me if you believe you have a place in any of the areas that I have listed above and within my price range. Thanks for taking the time to read and I hope to hear from you guys/gals soon! Best Regards E.Laver
Thanks for checking out my profile! I'll be in Sydney for 4 months- from late September to late January 2018- doing a show with Sydney Theatre Company and I'm looking for somewhere to lay my head, relax and rehearse a little bit. I'll be riding my bike around so somewhere within 15km of Dawes Point is ideal. I won't be bringing any furnishings so a furnished room would be top priority but unfurnished isn't something I can't work with. I'll be relocating from Melbourne so I won't have a lot of opportunity to inspect in person, really happy to Skype/Facetime an inspection. Happy to get to know you over the phone. I'm 26 years old, my favourite things to do are bike riding, chilling out watching YouTube, listening to music, playing my piano, playing some video games, cooking and juggling. Have you ever eaten koshary? You're gonna. It would be nice to move into a place with a sociable someone with similar interests, but that's not a deal breaker. I'm a conscientious person who keeps tidy. I do tend to generate a lot of noise but am very aware of when it's appropriate and when it's not welcome. I'll be working days during September-October while we rehearse and nights when the show season starts in November and that'll continue until the end of January. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi there! My partner, pup and I are looking for accomodation 🐶 We aren't to fussed about location, just looking for the perfect place! Ideally a granny flat or studio would work perfectly for us but happy to share a place with another couple or friends 😇 A bit about us: Me (caylah): I study online part time and work a few nights a week in a bar! Depending on when we move I'll probably go back to working full time! I'm a quiet, private person but enjoy having the occasional drink whilst watching some Netflix ☺️ My partner(bailey): He works full time for a call centre in Ryde, so ideally we would live close to the train line and within an hour of Ryde! Princess (pup) 🐶: She's a 1yr old chihuahua, cutest lil girl in the world! Very lovable but also gets very excited when there's lots of people around! Shes rarely left alone so you don't have to worry about consistent barking or bad behaviour!! So long story short we are both pretty quiet, clean and boring people, mainly study and work (not the type to have people over often) very respectful of other peoples space and privacy as well! Let us know if you have something that would suit 😅
