Hi! I recently got a new job in west end and I am looking to move to Brisbane relatively quickly as I am due to start in early March. I am a 29 year old accounting professional (not the typical stereotype!) who enjoys an active lifestyle and a love for travelling. I have been living on the Gold Coast for the past 5 years and I am looking forward to the change :) Hope to hear from you!
I am looking for a quiet, chilled but respectful house. I am a social introvert, curious and open-minded. I have a 17 year old Burmese cat. I work 30 hours per week & spend weekends relaxing or catching up with friends. Not a drinker or a party-er. 420 friendly. I have a small amount of furniture and whitegoods including a small fridge, washing machine and clothes dryer, and a spare single bed, so somewhere not already full of furniture would be ideal. I would really love a place that has a deck or some outside space to chill in, and garden.
i am a very responsible 19turning20yr old who studies Fine Arts at QUT Kelvin Grove (second year) and am looking for a laid back household that won't mind my late night manic art -making ..(not loud manic i promise!) i am usually a very quiet person when i am by myself , (i often accidentally frighten people with how quietly i walk) i really enjoy going out, getting way too dressed up and dancing but also love to chill out, snack out and watch films EVEN more ! ( HUGE studio ghibli fan) i would like to have a friend over very occasionally but would always want to make sure it is okay with everyone else and their plans! i love plants, natural sunlight and wooden floorboards. i like to be in a clean and tidy space that allows me to study, focus and create ! i work casual at a gelato store in the city B) i love organising and have such an indepth colour-coded calender detailing EVERY.SINGLE. event/bill/chore so i will never miss rent + bills payment ^_^
I am a friendly, moderately social student with a passion for art, animals and pop culture. I am an avid gamer, reader and creator. I am a student studying Website Development online with Brisbane TAFE. I am a quiet housemate who likes to cook and keep living spaces very tidy.
I'm very easy going, quiet but friendly and like to keep my surroundings clean and tidy. I work full-time in the city. I am specifically looking to stay for about 3 months as I have other accommodation plans arranged for the near future :)
Hi, I’m looking for a room to rent in a sharehouse. I preferred en-suite (room with own bathroom) but it can be compromised with share bathroom in a nice and clean house. A bit about me I moved to Australia almost 6 years ago since then living in Brisbane. I’ve just finished my studies And now working full time in a mixed day and night roster. I'm really neat and clean and I respect everyone's privacy. I am easy going and get along with everyone quickly.
Hi my name is Steph and I have recently returned to Brisbane after several years of working overseas with Doctors without Borders. I'm looking to set myself back up in Brisbane for 2019 and would love to live in a fun and social house. I am friendly, curious, clean and very easy going. I enjoy cooking and hanging out with a beer or glass of vino, but respect everyone's need for privacy. I'm happy to take a shorter stay place or up to 6 months so send me a message if you think you have a room that suits. Ta, Steph.
I am moving to Brisbane (originally from Melbourne) in 2019 and would love some welcoming room mates to show me around! I will be working as an Osteopath full time. I am very clean/neat. I enjoy my own privacy now and then, but also like having a chat at the end of the day with a beer. Ideally looking to share a place with likeminded mid-late 20yr olds who like to socialise.
I'm a South African graduate from Griffith on the Gold Coast. About to start full-time work in Brisbane as a business strategist. I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle and do as much running, gyming and cycling as I can fit in. I also don't mind a few drinks and good company on the weekend! I'm clean and respectful of everyone's space. I've just spent a year living with a girl that I found on this site last year, and we've become good friends and enjoyed living together so I know it's possible! I'm looking for a good group of people that enjoy a similar lifestyle balance as me!
Quiet and keep to myself but love a chat over coffee or wine, I work in the CBD full time Monday to friday and gym before work. Yes it means an early riser but a quiet one and enjoy netflix for the down time etc. **Update: I have moved into a friends spare room temporarily but looking to move asap and anywhere between 6-12 months. I am open-minded and would also seek the same but it isn't a biggy, I find myself busy with committee meetings and assisting in event management when I can.
I’m funny, independent and studying to be a chef.. what more could you possibly ask for! I also love the outdoors so you will pretty much have the same living situation just I will be around one or few nights a week to sleeep and cook in between my work life if this sounds like an offer you would hate to refuse then don’t! Cheers
I'm from Melbourne originally, moved to Brisbane a year ago. I work in the city and I'm a receptionist. I'm also a dancer so I spend most of my evenings at dance training and rehearsals. I'm looking for a peaceful household that doesn't get too noisy at night as I'm a light sleeper. I love animals and hate smoking.
NOT LOOKING FOR STUDENT ACCOMMODATION!! NOT AVAILABLE TO MOVE UNTIL LATE APRIL. Clean (very), considerate, friendly. Have spent plenty of time living with others so I'm respectful and pull my weight around the house. I work a day job at a software startup and in my spare time I like keeping fit, hiking/climbing, hitting the beach and generally relaxing (my partying days are behind me but I still enjoy the occasional pint/wine or three). Looking for a chilled, respectful household to share with some mature roomies.
Hey potential roomies, we're Charlotte, Ben and Daniel, we have been share-housing together for 2+ years, enjoying many brunch dates, music gigs, gaming wins and binges of trash tv series over the years. We are friendly, sociable, clean, creative and respectful housemates, who study at University and work part-time in Nursing, Marketing and IT. We are looking for some housemates with similar interests to team up and find a new home with us! Ideally you will have experience in a share-house and would like to sign on to the lease with us. We are currently searching for a large house with 4 + bedrooms, undercover or street parking, air-conditioning/ ceiling fans and an outdoor entertainment area. Our current lease ends early March, but we are flexible on the move in date. Our budget is up to $200 p/w each, and we are looking for a location within 5km of the CBD and walking distance to public transport. If you are interested please shoot me a message so we can meet up :)
Hello everyone, I arrived in Brisbane on the 9th of February for a 5-month internship, however accommodation is provided to me for the first month. At the moment I live close to the center, but as it turns out the inner city suburbs can offer more opportunities to go out and get to actually know people and the rents are closer to what I can afford, so while I work at CBD I would prefer to avoid it. I am looking for a room that is not too small and gloomy, all-bills included, ideally air-condition as the combination of heat and humidity is pretty unbearable here. Stable and fast internet would be a plus. I hope to live in a place with 2-3 other flatmates so that I will start socializing more, the first days have been quite lonely. I should also note that my girlfriend plans to come visit Australia for 2.5-3 weeks in April, so keep in mind that I'm looking for a place where couples are welcome. We will spend some of that time in Sydney and Melbourne but she will still be here for 2+ weeks. As for myself, I am a PhD student in computer science (static program analysis to be more specific) coming from Athens, Greece. I am going to be in Brisbane till the 18th of July. Most of my weekdays will be spent at work at least till I meet enough people to hang out consistently, but I still would love to meet people who would be willing to go out for a drink and explore the city with me during the weekend. I really love music - I try to play the guitar from time and time and I'm also trying to learn how to sing at the moment. I also enjoy drawing, reading or just watching movies or series to chill before going to bed. However, I mostly enjoy the sun and being outdoors for a walk or coffee, I really can't handle staying inside for too long. I really love cats (my parents have cats) and dogs even more so (I used to have one), so if you have a pet it would be a great plus for me! But most importantly I would like to live with interesting and fun people for the next few months. Cheers!
hi! im new to qld and am looking to find a quiet and relaxing place to call home. i am a Part time student studying counselling and am working part time in disability care, my favorite things are adventure drives and reading. I am quiet but am easy to get along with.I have much experience in share houses and have enjoyed getting to know many people while we go about our days with a catch up now and then. I have a 4 month old kelpie named Luna and would love to find somewhere where there is a nice backyard and another dog for a buddy when out, also hoping to find somewhere that has alot of greenness:)
Hello, I've just got a job in Milton Monday- Friday. looking to move closer, pretty flexable about location but somewhere near a city cat terminal would be ace. I will be bringing my dog Jack with me. He is kinda old now (8) and sleeps all day all.. and small and fluffy, cross lhaso alps... Or somthing like that. Also with parking... I don't mind if it's on the street aslong as it's actually accessible and not metered over specific times or is busy where I have hike it back home. I'm less after quality and more after someone I actually click with to share a home. I'm in no rush to move out and happy to wait for the right fit.
