31 years old, Engineer returning to Brisbane after 5 years away. Originally from New Zealand but been living/travelling overseas. I am easy going and cheerful, sociable but still respectful of people’s personal space and the need for peace. I am not the kind of person who hides in his room, but neither am I into partying as much as when I was 20. I live a busy lifestyle – usually working 40-50 hours a week in the CBD (8-5pm, Mon-Fri) and I also exercise every day (gym, crossfit, run). I like to hang out in the sun and be outdoorsy. Like going out to festivals, gigs, comedy shows and being sociable. I like to Surf, and Snowboard and generally travel a lot both for work and for leisure. I am very dependable rent wise and am happy to pitch in for cleaning expenses etc (whatever the flat does).
I am Geise, brazilian, exchange student, I currently live down to the Coast and I am looking for a new home in Brisbane :)
Hi I am looking for somewhere new I can call home, and am interested in living in a nice place that is worth keeping maintained with housemates who will become friends rather than just people I see at breakfast and dinner. I enjoying learning and reading but can also appreciate socializing and drinking a nice glass of red over a home cooked meal and some nice music. I go to the gym most mornings and usually work quite late and like to chill during the week (I have Netflix, Stan and Spotify accounts ;) ). I work full-time in the city and like to enjoy my weekends.
Hey, my name is Scott. I have been living in Melbourne for the past 5 years and have moved to Brissy for the weather, lifestyle and change of pace. I grew up in Brisbane but haven't properly lived here for over 7 years. Really open to either an existing place or team-up with someone that would want to find an apartment with me- especially in the Valley/ Newstead area, as there are some super bargains to be found currently. Would be great to live with someone that shares a fairly similar lifestyle and wouldn't mind having a drink /meal at home or out in the area. Im pretty social and had a great network of friends in Melbourne. Typical life- work 9-5, gym most nights, dinners, occasional drinks out, brunch, runs, etc. I'm pretty civilised during the week, but head out sometimes on the weekend. I also have furniture that can come or not- Its all newish and decent (west elm). Pretty nice sofa/ arm chair/ coffee table/ side tables etc. so I can also be part of an unfurnished home. Or open to find someone that we can find a new apartment together.
Just back to Brisbane after 3 years away working overseas - looking to share, team up with some great, fun, cool housemates. Work Full Time and have just started a new project near Fortitude Valley which will take most of my time during the week.
My friends say that I am a friendly and sensible person. I spend my time working and studying but I do enjoy going out to dinner with friends every so often. My hobbies include reading, listening to podcasts, and watching NHL hockey. I’m pretty flexible on move date and location - as long as my commute to work isn’t odious I’m up for it. Previous rental references available on request. Sorry, female housemates only.
We are a young couple travelling around Australia looking for short term accommodation in Brisbane. We are currently both working full time hours. We are a sociable, friendly and easygoing couple but not big party animals. We're clean, tidy and respectful and looking for like-minded housemates!
Hi I'm Celeste, Im 21. I work in the city and study at QUT. I consider myself a fairly tidy person, I tend to keep to myself but don't mind socializing. I tend to play a lot of video games and miniature models~ I don't drink but don't mind if other people do socially :)
Hey I'm Nicole! I'm 22 years old and looking for a place to live at the start of August with 1 to 2 people. I work full-time so during the week I'm usually at work. I sometimes enjoy a drink on the weekend and socialising! I do like my down time sometimes as working can get very tiring at times. I would like to live with people who also like to hang out, not just 'housemates'. I am also very clean, tidy and very reliable :)
-Dave(thought I’d get that out of the way) -Cleans up after self(you’re kidding!) -Will chat(untill the sun rises if desired) -Cooks a mean feed(amazing I know) -Super friendly(**when not tired**) -Respects privacy(what a top bloke) -kills spiders(hero your home deserves) -Having a bad day?(I’ll pour the wine) -No social life?(You can share mine) -The friend you wish you always had( :) ) -Will listen to your problems(Aww Dave) For the most part, I’m easy to live with- I am a social person 80% of the time with the other 20% being consumed by drawing and writing when I’m in the mood. I long for flat mates who clean up after themselves, and everyone treats one another with respect. I am looking for a place where friends can come and visit, possible stay for dinner or a few drinks.(nothing out of control) I’m really lookin for THOSE roomies- you know the ones that become awesome friends; the ones who look out for one another, and can kick back every now and again. I hope to hear from you. Dave.
I'm a first year Nursing student, I'm looking to move closer to the city preferably New Farm, Teneriffe or Newstead. I have a cocker spaniel named Charlie, he's really friendly and clean. I work as a Nursing assistant supporting people with disabilities and in aged care. I'm really relaxed, and usually go with whatever. I'm clean and tidy but not OCD.
Working professional based in toowong. I enjoy keeping active and looking after myself, but don’t mind burgers and beers! Life’s all about balance. Fairly outgoing, however respectful of other peoples spaces. Super easy going, Love to hear from you!
*** looking to move in asap. I am a tutor and postgraduate student at QUT Gardens Point Campus. Also I am working at a cafe on Saturdays. I go to gym and eat healthy but I am not living like a pro athlete :) I am interested in latin dancing, trekking and anything adventurous on my free time. I am looking for a pet free, non-smoker, clean (I vacuum-mop once a week and clean dishes straight away), home environment. Preferably, having my own bathroom, close to the public transportation alternatives for travelling to cbd and back. I understand and show respect to boundaries of my flatmates and expect the same in return. I am sociable but I like spending time on my own to recharge.
I am very easy-going and friendly, rarely grumpy, and love a decent laugh and fun times. At the expense of sounding exceedingly dull, I am genuinely a clean, quiet, reliable, and respectful housemate. I can also sleep through any amount of noise, and my Nonna taught me how to make good spaghetti sauce. I am hoping to find a room in a share house with a bunch of lovely people while I finish my university studies. I am fairly busy with both work and uni, and often travel home to visit my family in Cairns.
Hi, I am re locating back to Brisbane at the end of October and looking for somewhere to live short term (4-6months) possibly longer, if I really enjoy the place and we work well together I’m happy to stay longer term, just while I settle back in and eventually find my own place to move into. I would need furnished but basically only need a bed. I am looking for a quiet non party house to stay in, I live a healthy active lifestyle and enjoy a peaceful place to come home to and people who respect each others space and privacy. Easy to live with and laid back, please message me if you have anything coming up that would be suitable, thanks 😊
Howdy, I’m Dom! In short; I’m 25, single, a full-time marketer in a marketing agency, an amateur hand-letterer, Brisbane born and raised and currently on the hunt for a laid back, fun household to be a part of. In long, I’m… • Quiet (but only when sober. Drunk Dom does enough talking for the both of us) • An avid fan of knocking the froth off a few cold ones of a weekend • Tidy… in Public (In the privacy of my own room, standards can slip). • A gaming fan (If I’m home and not busy, theres a reasonable-to-strong chance I’m killing aliens or fighting zombies). • Currently having a crack at freelance hand-letting and design work • A big fan of movies; whether its popcorn and malteasers at the cinema, or on my phone in bed well after my bedtime; there’s always time for a good (or very bad) movie • A procrastinator of the highest order (I once chose to start learning French at 11pm the night before an assignment was due instead of just doing the stupid assignment) • A traveler (I’ve done most of Western Europe, some America and Iceland so far, but I intend to get my ass to Japan at some point in the near-ish future) • Not very much of a cook, though I’m learning and want to get better. My favourite meal is a hot chip sandwich - if I ever end up on death row, that’ll be my final meal for sure • Not really a sports fan, but I will happily sit and watch *sporting event* with you and be very vocal in my support of *your favourite team*, with occasional shouting about how the umpire/ref ‘clearly doesn’t have his eyes open’. If you’re after a quiet, tidy housemate who is still down for the odd pub crawl on the weekends, give me a shout! Cheers, Dom
Hi I am looking for a new wonderful place to call home and housemate/s that I hope will be the start of a great friendship. I already have an amazing place but after 4 years it's time for a little change up. I love being outdoors in nature so I would preferably love a place near the river or with some view of nature. Even houseplants would be nice haha. Also a pool is a must which I will be making good use of in summer and aircon in the room is a big plus. If the bills are included that is also a big plus for me. One less thing to worry about. I am not often home though so don't use a lot of utilities. I am usually out most evenings doing gym or eating out with friends and the same on the weekend. Either going to the beach or somewhere in nature. I would be more than happy for my new housemate/s to join me for any of these activities or hang out watching a movie/Netflix possibly with a wine at home. I work as a psychologist in a health retreat and also nanny one day a week. I am very easy going, friendly and tidy. I enjoy a good chat but also respect space. I also enjoy reading and just getting into some creative stuff which I may retreat to my room to do at times. I am flexible with move in times but I will require a couple of weeks to sort of replacing someone for my room but that shouldn't take too long. Please don't hestitate to contact me to have a chat. Lea.
I am a 28 year old full time customer service representative soon to be financial planner. Originally from New Zealand, I moved to Brisbane last year to further my career. I come with a NutriBullet, 2 Apple TVs and a Boston Shaker! I am 25, from the Sunshine Coast originally, have lived in Brisbane full time since February. I work in hotels, so I am a shift worker. Looking for housemates who respect the house, respect that I am a shift worker, and are clean.
