Clean, tidy, considerate, friendly and always on time with bills. About me: Hi my name is Tammi and I'm either looking to start a sharehouse or join an established one before August when my current lease runs out. I am a clean and tidy person, where cleaning up after yourself in a timely manner and chipping in with the housework is an environment I like to live in. I like to recycle, try to save both water and electricity (which helps when bill time comes around) and keep the house maintained. I mainly keep to myself but am always up for a chat or a housemate dinner and drinks. I come with a microwave, PS4, TV, TV stand and kitchen essentials. I'm happy to chip in for new appliances and furniture if needed. What I'm looking for: Preferably I'm looking at living with a max of four people (with one bathroom per pair) and having a room with built in wardrobes that would fit a queen bed and a tallboy. A dishwasher is a massive plus. I'm looking at a max of $140 per week for rent and looking at living within 20km of the city. Southside is preferable, I'm currently living in Moorooka. I've been renting for years and am specifically looking for like-minded housemates my own age who are already housetrained, considerate towards others and also like a well maintained house. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions for me, want to arrange a coffee meetup or think I sound like what you're looking for. Looking forward to hearing from you!
I'm originally from England looking for a place to live for the remainder of my visa (22/09/2017)! I'm very clean, have a full time job as a gardener and get along with 99% of people. I've travelled most of Australia and for my last period here I would love just to work and stay in a place until my time is up. All I'll be doing is going to the gym and working I think, with perhaps some crazy nights watching Netflix...
I'm a majority of the time clean, tidy type of person. Respectful of other's space and my own but do enjoy socialising from time to time with house mates (maybe a glass of wine or two). I love nights chilling at home and do have weekends out and about. I have a ragdoll cat who is friendly once she knows you and she mostly stays indoors unless the yard is full high fenced. I clean as I go, vacuum frequently, a non-smoker, and open and non-judgmental (expect the same). I am responsible with being on time with rent and bills. Ideally, I don't want more than sharing with 2 other people. I'm a nurse and do work shift work from time to time so need someone who is mindful of when I need to sleep during the day. Ideally would like a garage space, and bath tub (my relax time!).
Hi! My name is Kesh, 25 years old. I am currently studying my postgraduate degree in Human Services at Griffith Uni and working as a part time in a local fast food place. I am clean and respectful of privacy and can also socialise. I play video games, watch TV and read books for fun. I don't smoke and party so I am the ideal housemate. I am looking for a place with a spacious room near a bus stop/station as I do not have a car.
Hey I'm Lorrin. I just moved to Brisbane to work and I'm starting university at UQ in September. I have a temporary place at the moment so I'm looking for a more stable address. I'm pretty easy-going and a little awkward, I keep to myself but I'm sociable and get along with pretty much anybody. I can take care of myself; cleaning, washing, household duties. I am respectful and appreciate respect in return. I'm down with fun and games and can have a good time but also respect people's privacy and personal space. I can afford 150-170$/week. I'm super keen to live in Brisbane permanently and hope I can find some good people to get to know.
We're two dudes originally from Far North Queensland looking to make a life here in Brisbane. I (Leo) have been living in Brisbane for over a year now and am currently bar tending at The Zoo (that's the venue in Fortitude Valley, not the animal prison). Also working at AMF Bowling in Mt. Gravatt which means $3 bowling games for me and 4 friends (chyeah, bowling nights will be a thing). I've just finished a Diploma in Live Sound Engineering SAE Qantm and am looking for full-time work in the field. I'm very easy going, friendly and love to laugh. I'm very much into music, especially vinyl, and love incorporating the sweet sounds of music into my daily life. I (Aidan) have just recently returned from travelling around Europe and am excited to make the move to Brisbane and begin working again. Prior to Europe I was working in the Northern Territory rehabilitating a toxic dump but am taking a fly in/out job in Weipa. I’ve spent a large amount of time in Brisbane (as its relatively close to home) and have decided its time to finally move there. Have a keen interest in music, especially live music, and love attending gigs and finding new tunes. We're both hoping to find a place soon so if anyone is interested in living with two rad dudes hit us up!
Brazilian, student, tiny, quiet and looking for a place where I can improve my English e make new friends.
Hi, I’m a 18 year old student, studying at Yeronga State High School. I have lived share house in Tennyson, but I have to find another place. Because the owner’s family will move in this house. I would like to find a nice place for at least 6 months, even more, so not to move around all the time. It would be great to find a private furnished room in shared house. For my free time, I'm mainly focusing on my studies, and going to the gym. I value cleanliness and consideration above all else.
My name is Mya, I'm 17 years old and i work casually. I'm friendly, tidy and respectful. I recently just completed a makeup course I'm looking for a nice place to live while I work and try to save money for the next 6 months to a year.😊
I'm Jess, a science communicator who recently moved to Brisbane to start a masters at UQ. I'm a pretty interesting person, having worked as a wildlife educator at a zoo, in communications for a non profit and also in a hiking store. I'd love to house share with some respectful, easygoing people of any age / background (non-smoking preferred) within an easy distance of UQ St Lucia campus. As far as roommates go I'm very down to earth. I'm an environmentally conscious vegetarian who loves cooking and farmers markets (I don't mind living with non-veggos in the least). I love tea, coffee, wine, music (listening and playing), lazy sundays, great books and conversations, yoga, and illustrating. I also have an adventurous spirit and enjoy getting out on weekends going running, hiking, camping, kayaking etc. I own both a 4WD and a beautiful border collie (currently in VIC), and I am hoping to soon move her to QLD so it's really important to me that any house share be in a pet friendly property with a fully fenced yard, that any other dogs are friendly and flea treated and there is a veranda or indoor space for my dog to sleep (I'm really worried about cane toads!). I'm a very respectful dog owner, my dog is incredibly well trained (think loads of cool tricks) and well exercised (runs/walks everyday), I keep her off furniture and out of flatmates rooms and I flea and worm her regularly. She's without a doubt the sweetest, laziest, cuddliest and smartest dog you'll meet. For a border collie shes quite small and shy, she loves nothing better than a good snooze in her basket while I study, as well as playing with toys and eating cheese. I'd prefer a house with nice kitchen and bathroom facilities, some form of parking and within an easy distance (either cycling, driving or public transport) from UQ. If you're interested in teaming up for a house share, have a room available and wouldn't mind an adorable pupper and her responsible / friendly owner to share with, please please please contact me! xx Jess

Hi, I'm returning to Brisbane after 18mths away and would love to move back closer to the city for work and play, but not too close - I formerly lived and worked in West End. I'm a conscientious and respectful housemate, and am looking to share with someone with similar values.

I work full time as a geotechnical engineer and travel fairly frequently for work (away for approximately 2-3 months a year). I'm pretty active and am always doing something but also need a decent amount of quiet time. I'm clean and easy to live with so lets get this show on the road.

Hi I'm Dani. I am a high school teacher in Indooroopilly. I like to be social but also really enjoy down time with a good book/movie. I have a long-term partner who will occasionally come over, but not stay over. Looking to share with other people who are sociable, clean, considerate and kind.
Hi all!! We are a group of friends looking for one more person (or a couple in the right conditions) to join our family of 6 (2 are dogs)! We are currently looking for a house in the listed suburbs above. The lease at our current house ends on the 6th of august but we may be looking to move a bit earlier and are looking for a modern house. About us: we are four full time working professionals. Three are boys and one girl. We love to have a laugh and spend a fair bit of time together. However, we also respect each others privacy and personal items. We do a lot of things together ie. Clean, cook, gym dates, movies dates the occasional drinks. You will be more than welcome to join however if you want to do your own thing thats also fine :) we do love a friday arvo beer and occassional valley trip but we have definately outgrown the 18 year old 'lets party every weekend' phase. About you: we are looking for someone aged 20 to 28. Must be a dog person as we have 2 beautiful dogs, an american staffy and a pug. We are hopeing for someone with a good sense of humour and not a party animal. If you dont like watching the occasional kids movie (especially the good dinosaur) or eating burgers this may not be a good fit. We all work full time but students are of course welcome. If you have any questions or are interested in teaming up with us, please don't hesitate to message me :)
We are Nikita and Finn. We are looking for a group of friendly and earthy folk offering a permanent home in a leafy area. Finn likes the outdoors, lots of cuddles and kisses, making friends and sleeping. I manage a little organic cafe and spend my other time cooking, dancing, and spontaneously just having an awesome time. I would really love to find a space that offered a lot of privacy and natural environment, within a social and loving household. We have been living alone together in a beautiful apartment for some time, but as the lease renewal approaches we have become more interested in changing scenery and meeting some new people.

We are happy to lend a hand with household jobs, garden/ home maintenances, groceries etc however we are fully able to provide food and necessities for ourselves. We are not party animals. We value our time off as we both work very hard and like to spend our days off resting however we don't mind the occasional drink, chat or bbq :) Feel free to message us
I generally cook too much food so I'm happy to share my leftovers, I'm clean and tidy,I love to travel and have lots of cool stories that you can tell your friends which will in turn make you more popular among your peers. if you need any more reasons I'm pretty good at improvisation so can interview me at your earliest or latest convenience. also I play football(soccer)/Guitar(quietly) and a few other cool instruments and sports. So by now I know you want to swipe right (does this app have that?) Kind regards, Jon
Hey there! I'm Alyssa, an incoming postgraduate student at UQ. I'm going to be taking Food Science but my background is in Biology, so I love hiking and nature in general. I also enjoy weightlifting, horror films, video games, and A Song of Ice and Fire theories. I shared a condo unit with two other girls during my undergrad days, so I'm no stranger to keeping shared spaces tidy, maintaining personal space, and the occasional drinks and friends over. I can't say I'm great at cooking, though I'm quite good at brewing coffee, having worked as a specialty coffee barista for over a year. I won't be coming to Australia til 2018, but I figure it's never too early to prepare!
I'm 19 years old. I'm from Ecuador and currently studying marine biology at UQ. This is my first year. It's also my first time in Australia. I'm into watersports and I brought my kiteboarding equipment with me so I go to the beach (usually Gold Coast or Sandgate) on the weekends whenever I can. On my free time I like listening to music, cooking or just going for a walk. I'm open minded and always keen to meeting new people and learning about their own cultures, their languages and traditions.
