I'm 26 and have just moved from Wollongong to start work as a research assistant in Newcastle. I've lived in a share house before and am respectful, clean and up for a chat, drinks, dinner and some Netflix with my housemates. I like to spend time eating and drinking with mates and down at the beach.
28 y/o creative designer with a friendly+low risk cat (Mishka). I am extremely tidy, respectful and environmental. I like to be social on weekends and would like to host friends over for wine and such from time to time. My ideal housemates would be super cool, cultured, love a drink, going to gigs and social events, good music, are clean, sustainable and have an interest in recycling/minimising waste. I am interested in starting a share house. Move in date is flexible AROUND XMAS/NYE length of stay but prefer 6+ months and around The Hill/Cooks Hill/Newy East area.
My name is Sarah and I’m looking for a lovely place to live where everyone gets along and we all have a great time 😊 I study a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design at UON and have just came back to Australia after being on exchange in Canada for 4 months. I originally come from a small country town in North West NSW, so I’m a country girl at heart 👩🏽🌾 I'm looking to live with like minded people who preferably are health conscious, enjoy yoga/exercise/gym, nice walks along the beach, casual brekky dates, jamming out together (I play guitar), or occasionally going out if there comes the chance. I’m also very respectful of others space and privacy, as well as having that alone time for myself as well 🙃 I’m not the party type of girl, I don’t go out often and if I do it’s for casual cocktails with a couple of friends. I’m also a clean freak, so I like to keep things looking nice, organised and fresh! ✨ If you’d like to catch up for a chat or a coffee please get in contact with me! I would love to hear from you 🙂
Just finished HSC looking to move out January/February for a few months with some fun and friendly people.
I am a down to earth, clean and positive person looking to move into the city. I currently live in merewether. I love reading, writing, coffee, wine, walking, going to the gym, yoga, chilling out alone or with my housemates and spending endless summer days at the beach :)
Creative artistic type Very laid back and easy going I make friends very easily, but also respectful of privacy and space Super clean and keep tidy 👌🏼 I’m a Massage Therapist and work in the Hunter Valley region 💆🏼♀️
Currently I work casually as an educator and tutor while studying law and arts full time in Newcastle and I'm looking for somewhere to move to for the new year! I'm neat and relatively organised, in my free time I speed watch tv, study, play Nintendo switch, read when I can, buy too many house plants and enjoy generally exploring cafes and beaches. Not a huge partier but that doesn't mean I won't enjoy the occasional casual after work drinks and snacks. Looking for somewhere to live longer term that feels less like a house and more like a home.
I'm a 26yr old tradie so I'm mature (mostly) and I can fix things. I like a social house in the sense that everyone isn't afraid of having a quick chat or a good laugh over a few drinks and dinner, inside or out of the house. In saying that though, I do understand and respect personal space as we all need and deserve it at times. I consider myself a clean and tidy individual and always do my best to leave things the way I found them. I'm more then willing to help out around the house with whatever needs to be done whether it be daily chores or just helping out a mate. I scratch your back, you scratch mine so to speak. (not asking for back scratches) I do love a good house party from time to time or going out on the town but I'm not one to bring a mob of randoms back to the house, especially without asking the house for their unanimous approval first.
Currently deferring uni and working 2 part time jobs at the farmers markets and as a barista so me and my coffee machine are a package deal. I'm an easygoing housemate who appreciates time alone to make music and workout amongst other things but also love having a chat, cooking up a storm and sharing some wine.
Hey! My name is Bec. I'm 24 years old and am moving to Newcastle from Brisbane in late January/early February to start a new job in March. I work in the legal industry so during the week am pretty busy with work. I like to keep fit and healthy, I enjoy playing soccer and love food and cooking. I consider myself to be a clean, respectful person. I enjoy my own company but also am keen to socialise on weekends, meet new people and get outside when I can. I am looking for like minded people to team up with to find a place - preferably one or two others. Alternatively, I am looking for a bedroom in an existing house, if possible with an ensuite. If you think I might be a good fit, please send me a message!
Very chill guy and easy to get along with. I like listening/playing music and splashing paint on a canvas when i'm feeling creative. Im looking to find a place with a fun, friendly and peaceful dynamic, which I could slot into seamlessly. I currently work part time and study. I'm tidy and never miss rent payment.
Active, enjoying going to the gym, beach and playing netball. I work at a Paediatric OT in Belmont and working casually in the Gold Lounge at the cinemas in Charlestown Square, so if you like movies I'm the roommate for you (until I have to leave for y full time job). I'm sociable but respect peoples alone time as well as enjoy alone time myself. I keep clean and hate clutter in the kitchen. Any questions feel free to send a message :)
I’ve lived out of home close to two years never missed or been late for rent or other house hold bills. I’m very cleaning organised and encourage a tidy environment. I love indoor plants and I have quite a few. I have furniture and appliances. I’m an out doorsy gal who loves the beach. My ideal night is to have a few wines or cocktails and cheese and crackers with the girls. I keep to my self as I love to work and do crazy hours but I also like to be social and build friendships. I’m moving to Newcastle for a full time employment opportunity. I’m open to any living options but my ideal is to find someone to flat mate with and then find a place as I have plenty of funiture and kitchen / house hold items.
I am a non-smoking, down to earth and easy going girl who likes to be outdoors and stay active. I am very clean and tidy, and am looking for someone similar. I have just finished a Bachelor of Science and am now working for the Government doing project data analysis and management. I am an excellent home cook and enjoy a slow grazing dinner over a few drinks. I'm pretty chilled out and like a lot of down-time to myself, but also enjoy a good chat or TV show to watch with my housemate. I also have a number plants to bring along and re-home, so an outdoor area or lots of natural light would be ideal!
Hey, I'm Alex! I'm looking to move into the eastern burbs near the water, with some folks who wouldn't mind sharing a meal and maybe checking out some gigs or the pub from time to time. I'm generally pretty chill, potentially creative and a consumate professional of a housemate. Vego, bike rider, plant enthusiast - see my vibe on the gram @alexbowler for more info. Let me know if you're looking!
Hi, My name is Ashleigh - i'm looking for a room in a share house - i like doing yoga, going for coffee with friends, working, the gym and beach. I'm from Lake Maquarie but have lived in Sydney & London and around Newcastle. I'm a respectful and tidy person with a friendly personality, i'm happy doing my own thing and also don't mind socialising with flatmates, having a chat or the occasional catch up for coffee or house dinners etc. Have lived in share housing for a lot of my adult life so generally fit in pretty well wherever i go. I'm looking to move in mid to late January.
Hi I’m looking for a place that is relaxed & chilled. I work as a Paramedic & enjoy living by the beach & being outdoors on days off either camping, canyoning or caving with friends. I’m clean, quiet, happy to enjoy other’s company while at the same time respect their space.
Hi I’m Becky - small business owner, mature, fun and friendly. I’m an experienced house sharer looking for a stable, social home for me and my gorgeous little 2 year old staffy-cross rescue Reuben. I have most of the furniture needed for a house but am willing to sell a fair amount. I’m looking to move into an established house that needs a few things (I do have a great dining table), but I am also open to starting a new lease with someone awesome and can provide pretty much all the household items. I love photography, nature, eating out and an occasional good movie night. I am pretty community focussed and have a few jobs and connections in the city. I love my houseplants and would love to find a nice spot for them. As a housemate I am respectful, clean, and compassionate. Reuben is 2 1/2, very social and loyal. He loves playing ball and hanging out with his humans, and he is smart, very trainable and adaptable. He wants to be friends with most animals and settles well after getting pretty excited at first! I can give photos and doggy housemate references, and am happy to do a few meetings if need be. :)
My names Zoe and I’m looking to move into newy and away from my hometown Maitland. I’m a chill person and like to spend time at the beach, exploring places, and painting. I enjoy being around creative people, and I respect cleanliness and personal space.
Hi, I'm Sarah and I'll be commencing study at University of Newcastle in 2019. Looking for an affordable room around the Merewether, Bar Beach, Junction areas. Also looking for others wanting to move to this area around the same time as me and we could team up and find a rental! A bit about me: I love being outdoors and enjoying the sunshine, so if I'm not working or studying I'll most likely be doing something active! But also love staying in and cooking, watching some netflix or chilling with friends. Love a drink or 7 sometimes - but not much of a party animal anymore! Originally from Victoria so will be very new to the area and keen to explore! As a housemate, I tidy up after myself (keep my mess in my room) and think I'm pretty considerate of my housemates and their work schedules etc. only noisy when singing in the shower or while cleaning :D Would love for my house to be a fun and social place where everyone feels welcome, but not a party place!
Relaxed and tidy guy from Darwin. Been in Newcastle about a year working full time as a consultant in the construction industry. Like to keep fit, exploring and a have social drink every now and again. Looking to team up with someone to find a decent rental in a good spot.
