Hey, I’m Jacob ! I’m 22, from QLD originally but I’ve been living in Sydney for the past few months for work. Hoping to make Newcastle my new home for a while. Looking to move in 2-3 weeks maximum. I have a job to start immediately once I arrive. I’m easy going, kind and respectful. I like to keep a clean space, I always clean up after myself :) Not much of a party animal but do enjoy myself on the town every now and then. When I’m not working all day I usually try to get to the gym or get out and go exploring or something. I love my Netflix as well though, don’t get me wrong 🤷🏼♂️ I’m looking for a place somewhat close to “The Hill” as first preference because my friend and workmate lives around there. I do smoke cigarettes but I’m extremely courteous about it (e.g smoking away from the house and not around other that don’t smoke) I do have plenty of my own things (e.g kitchen wear/ some general house things) I’m always more than happy I share anything but I also respect that others aren’t the same. (Is why I have my own) Thanks for your time ! Hope to hear from you
About me: I can easily get along with anyone and love to meet new people. Queer and brazilian. Will arrive on Newy at 4th of October. What do I do: I will begin my PhD in Mathematics at the University of Newcastle.
Moldable to fit with my housemates well-being and lifestyle. I am a chilled out person, but excitable at times. Try to be as active as possible, loving the outdoors whether its at the beach or just getting out the house. I would describe myself as a friendly charismatic person. I am studying Marine Biology back in Wales, am here for 1 year.
Hi We are James and Ranjeeta and we are looking for a place to stay. We don't smoke, drink alcohol, or take any recreational drugs and we are not into partying. James loves board games, video games and all things languages and linguistics. He is currently looking for full-time work. Ranjeeta also loves games, as well as plants, books, and art. She is a third year medical student and works as a tutor. We would love to adopt a cat, and so have a strong preference for a place where pets are allowed, but it's not a complete deal-breaker.
Hi. I’m looking for a place to stay where I can walk to the beach asap. I took a leave of absence from my uni for 1 year to surf and work :) Studied art as my major and love going to the beach at my free time. Quite easy going and relaxed. Having fun together would be great but also considerate of other’s space.
Hi I'm Emma, a PhD student studying infertility I also have a friendly white indoor cat called O'Malley. I spend most of my time at uni (I'm there 8:30-5 usually), or at the beach. I also love to stay at home with a good movie cuddling O'Malley. We've lived in sharehouses for the last 3 years and he's so sociable with people and other cats. I'm a tidy person, and I'm pretty sociable. I love cycling, good coffee and brunch. I'm looking for a room with a wardrobe for all my stylish clothing, with friendly, tidy housemates. I make excellent muffins!
Hey everyone, I'm currently studying Physiotherapy full-time at Newcastle Uni, and working part time. I spend most of my time at the gym, rock climbing, or at the beach :) I'm looking for a relatively quiet place, but love a chat and am down for a bit of socialising too. Ideally hoping to move in late November, as my current lease ends early December, but am willing to pay a few weeks rent to secure a place that suits.
Hi everyone! My name is Zahra, I'm 21yrs old, studying floristry and working hospo in the mean time. I'm looking for a new house to call home, preferably around or under $150 but up to $200 a week. I moved out to Wallsend with housemates from my previous location but I don't drive and find this area makes it difficult for me to get to Sydney for my classes + work and the shops. I'm open to moving anywhere closer in to Newcastle and can move in whenever suits you (with a week or 2 notice). I have a 3yo cat with me as well, his name is Kitty. He's super friendly, really loves new people and the most trouble he'll give you is being too affectionate. I'm a very clean person, I enjoy keeping things tidy and am capable of cooking, cleaning and looking after myself and my cat. I spend a lot of time doing my own thing be it study, work or just enjoying me time, but I'd really love to move into a home where I can consider my housemates my friends. Please contact me if I sound like a suitable housemate or you're interested in teaming up for a new place!
I work in a composites company Monday to Friday standard work hours. I really enjoy jogging and playing games. I'm looking for a place near a park or beach I can go jogging on, still not too far from my work in Broadmeadows.
Jess, 26. I'm at UoN, studying IT/business. I enjoy technology, coffee dates, photography, walking. I have a pet cat, Pocket (9 yrs) that would be tagging along - will be your best friend if you are a human. She hasn't been with other animals, so would like it to be a one pet household. I can be quiet, also outgoing at times. I am always respectful of others space and very tidy/clean. Always willing to help out others and have a chat - but realise we all need our downtime. I am wanting to possibly find 2-3 other people that are keen to team up, preferably around the same age group.
