I just moved to Australia for the first time and I'm in to experience all of it :) For 4 months, I'll be studying security and politics at Macquarie University. I am 24 years old and a very clean and tidy person looking for someone relaxed to live with. (no party people)
Heyyy future flatemates, Lucas and I, are very sociable people, we love to share with the people we meet. We are always careful not to disturb, to be clean behind us, and to be good company. We are 24 years old and we want to enjoy life, discover new countries and new people is what makes us happy. We also know how to be discreet if necessary. As for the house, we are used to cleaning, cooking, feeding the animals ... basic. We will be very happy to meet you and share your daily life. We are looking for a room in Sydney (Bondi, king's cross, surry hills, newton, the rock...) . We have a car, so we prefer with a parking space. We are available from next week now, as soon as possible. We have the working holiday visa, so we are here to work, work, work and to enjoy during our free time :p Hoping to hear from you soon :) Estelle & Lucas
I'm a Sydney-born 40 year old working in the education sector who has lived abroad and now back in town. I've been fortunate to have my parents accommodate me since being back but now that I've regained employment, I'm looking into having some space of my own again. I'm generally an easy-going, quite independent and open-minded ambivert of Portuguese ancestry. I do like to bake and cook but haven't done so in quite a while. When I'm not working, I do like to stay at home but also go out to catch up with family and friends. My privacy and personal space is very important to me. As I have a car, I'd prefer to have a car space OR on-street parking nearby. A personal bathroom would be ideal but not essential and this goes for internet access as well. Although furnished/semi-furnished is preferable, I don't mind moving into somewhere which is unfurnished since I'll be renting long-term. Although I'd prefer to have a place of my own, I'm open to moving into with 1-2 other people. (can be flexible) If I end up sharing with others, they'd need to be independent, mindful and respectful of one's privacy and personal space, contributing to maintain a clean and harmonious household. I don't like a lot of noise so a (somewhat) quiet place is preferred.
Hi I'm Christian, I am going to study at University of Sydney for the coming semester (aug-nov), and I am therefore looking for somewhere to live in Sydney. At USYD, I am going to study primarily finance units. About me: - I am 22 years old, I am from Copenhagen, Denmark, where I study International Business at Copenhagen Business School. - In my spare time I like to do and watch sports of all kinds. In Denmark, I played handball and ran. - Before I moved to Sydney, I lived together with my girlfriend in Copenhagen. She is going on exchange at University of Western Australia in Perth. - I love to travel (probably also the main reason for going on exchange!). Why I am great to live with: - I am very tidy and clean. So there will definitely not be any issues with that! - I love to cook and eat all sorts if different foods. Maybe my coming flatmates can take advantage of that. - I do not smoke or have any pets. - Last but not least, I like to socialize with friends and family, but I might also need some time to study anyways. Hope that you find my listing interesting, and I will look forward to hearing from you! Best regards, Christian Nedergaard Pedersen

My nickname is Vivian. I'm 23 years old. At the moment, I am looking for an apartment for two people as I will be moving in with a friend, her name is Tracy. We are unemployed, but we will look for a part-time job in Sydney. Both of us loves to travel around the places as we like to explored and gain knowledge from others. I am a responsible, independent and a helpful person. Also, I am a sensitive person as I do care about others feelings instead of mine. Tracy has the similar personality to mine. We both understand each other really well and we won't cause any trouble to each other nor to others people.

Hey! I am a 29 year old Canadian who has been travelling Australia for the last year and a half. I have been living in hostels (read: know how to live with people in close quarters in a friendly and respectful manner) and I’m really looking forward to having my own space. I am friendly, outgoing, love a glass of wine or a movie night but also require some time on my own to recharge. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi, I'm David. I recently moved from Wellington to Sydney, working full time in the NSW public service in data/analysis. Public service work hours - so regular, with some flex to spare :) Pro houseplants, good coffee, wine/craft beer with kind souls, and making the most of the day. I like my home to be a bit of escape and sanctuary. Looking for people who find a balance being social folk who like to eat together / go out and socialise / just have a natter; with being comfortable alone / giving personal space. Considerate cleanliness also matters, especially in this city where cockroaches are ready to pounce. Being open and communicative saves so many problems down the line, speak up and avoid anything overheating. Ultimately it comes down to being able to respect each other and recognise that home is somewhere peaceful to relax and de-stress, but also that people like to do things at home from time to time and that's also cool?
