Me in 30 seconds: Bachelor’s Degree in History in the bag, I took up the challenge and here I am: enjoying backpacking. The first stage is located 15,000 kilometers away from home. Of course, I’m talking about Australia, and especially about Sydney. So, I’m looking for a room in a flatshare. And, if you ask me why do I want to live with flatmates, I will answer « I want to live with flatmates because it’s important to me to interact with people from different cultures. I would like to discover the Real Aussie Way of Life, sharing barbecues, tasting Vegemite - and loving it - etc... Finally, why not show you the French Touch if you want to (baguette de pain and croissant au beurre are coming). ». It looks very serious, but I really mean it. Oh, and I almost forgot: I’m Marie, Nice to meet you! In a basic way: Frenchie. 20 years old. Passionate about series and drawing. I travel alone. What makes me a good flatmate ? That's a good question. To make it short : - I like sharing, talking, joking... everything, but I also know when it's time to be calm, to leave the others alone. Privacy must be respected. - The watchword is "Respect" : respect others and places. - I'm kind (I think it's important to note in a description). - Telling stories is my best skill.
I am a happy, no drama person, always available to help others. I always try to do plans with my friends, working or studying, so I do not spend too much time at home. Home is my place to relax, so I am looking for a quiet, nice and (the most important) clean place. This is my gap year after finishing PhD. I am treveling from Spain. My friend from Argentina will be at Sydney at the same time, so we are looking for a place for both of us.
LOOKING FOR A FURNISHED ROOM 13 AUG 2019 - 2 JAN 2020! Hey, my name is William and I am 23 years old from the Netherlands. I am neat and clean. I am going to do an internship in Sydney Aug-Dec and therefore I am looking for a room in a shared house. The room must be furnished. At the moment I am still in a number of job interviews, so I am not sure where I want to live. But I prefer to live in: Ultimo, Redfern, Pyrmont, Surry Hills, Haymarket, Woolloomooloo, Erskineville or The Rocks. The room must be near a train or bus station and it would be nice if there is also a gym. I am open to other places but no more than 30 minutes from the city center. Let me know if you have something for me and maybe we will meet soon! William
Hey there! I am looking for a place to call it home around North Sydney (or easy to travel there). I am considering 2 options lately. 1) renting a private room in a nice place with respectful people or 2) Willing to rent the whole place (lease) with someone interested in, around 2-3 bedrooms, for 6 months - 1 year lease, moving in max 2-3 weeks preferably. Happy to buy furniture and share the bills if we are after a lease together. My priority is a modern nice clean place near public transport, preferably around North Sydney or CBD or easy to travel there ( max 3-4 train stops around will do too). About me; Engineering graduate, used to work in arts and music as backstage coordinator in Europe and in a pharmacy and opera here, however I am dealing with marketing lately. I will be studying and working most of the time. But I won't miss a movie or wine&dine night with flatmates. I love to keep it to myself and respect other's space. I am definitely sociable , sarcastic, fun but quiet as a housemate. I enjoy art, wine and cheese; nice flatmates who are clean and respectful to others. I have been sharing with many different people and living in different countries, I really enjoy parties outside of the house and love coming to a warm peaceful home :) I am hoping to be lucky enough to get a nice place with great souls! I always rented for long term before, min was 6 months, so I would be happy to call it home and stay longer if we are all happy ;) PS; If you are interested in renting the whole place please let me know, I am up to team up, I can also be flexible with time and location :)
yoooo finally moved to sydney from hawaii, never moving away lol but gonna start with a short contract asap until july 17ish-20ish... because i gotta hit up gold coast before the school year starts, i teach intl students and also do marketing for a company remotely.
Hi, My friend Stefy and I are both Colombians (friends, not couple) and we are looking for a shared room in the City or surroundings. We are both students and have been living in Australia for 2 years, working full-time or part time depending on school schedule. We are very friendly, polite, organized, clean and tidy, and respect the activities and privacy of our flatmates. I have been personally living with flatmates for the past two years, and they have all become good friends. We like to read, watch movies and listen to electronic music. Thanks
I'm Tomas, 25 y/o accountant under working holiday visa. I'm pretty relaxed and easy-going. I love having a beer or meal with friends or people in the house to socialize and make friends but also respect everyone's privacy. I need accomodation in the CBD area since I got a job there and I'd love to avoid commuting for long.
I love a peaceful and calm place as I work a lot. I m an easygoing guy and I enjoy having fun on my leisure time, so wine and friends are welcome...I like dogs, music, gym and happy to cook eventually .
We are an outgoing, friendly married couple from Lithuania moving to Australia for studies/part time work :) We love nature, art, travelling, photography. We are considerate to our environment (be it neighbors or the planet) and we love to make new friends
