I'm moving to Melbourne from the country next year to start my PHD. I'm somewhat of an introvert, but once I get to know people I'm up for a good chat. I like yoga and chilling out watching netflix. I love animals, so they would be a bonus!
I'm a clean and social person and I respect other's privacy as well. I study psychology and am working mostly otherwise and keep to my own. I also like to cook so yeah, if any of the boxes are a tick, hit me up. Thanks
Moving over to Melbourne from Adelaide in January. Will be studying my Masters of Occupational therapy at La Trobe Uni. Working part time. Looking for a place north of the city Brunswick, Preston, and surrounding areas up to Bundoora. Like to keep it semi quiet over the week while working/studying. Love a froffy over the wknd, getting out doing bits, exploring the city as from Adelaide! Fun, social, always up for chat.
Hi I'm Andy, I'm a professional worker looking to rent a double bedroom near La Trobe University. Ideally I would like to live in a quiet household with one or two other people. I am a clean and considerate person. My spare time is usually spent gaming, cooking and watching the latest movies/series.
Hi, I am Ren. My budget is 160-170 per week inclusive of bills. I'm looking for a smoke/420 free home with friendly and social housemates on the North or East side of Melbourne (studying Master of Social Work at Monash Caulfield). I can do furnished or unfurnished. I rented for 7 years through leases and sublets in Brisbane. I'm nerdy, friendly, and genderqueer. I'm house trained, but I would suit a more easygoing house due to chronic health issues. Long term lease preferred.
Hi there, I'm Julia. I am a 29 year old freelance photographer and artist. I'm looking for a room available earliest December 11th. But I can move in a little later than that. I'd like to live in or close to Thornbury. Other Suburbs of interest would be Preston, Northcote, Brunswick... I'm a Queenslander who has been here for two years. I miss my morning surf, but love the creative nature of Melbourne and the artists I meet. I can pay around $600p/m rent, would prefer female or non-binary housemates, but am I'm open to a share house that has an ok balance. My wish for a home would be that it is not too far from public transport, and although it doesn't have to be a vegetarian house, I am vegetarian. I've got a lovely partner who will come over some nights. She's a wonderful cook. I would love to have a glass of wine with you from time or time or watch a movie. But I also respect personal space too and to be honest, can be quite an introvert, especially when I am lost in my editing or my health is down. My hearing is in the low range so communication may be touch and go, we'll just need to meet and see. I hear women best and in a quiet environment I can carry a decent and usual conversation. My health condition (a migraine type afffair) affects my energy levels, so I would - with my freelance work also considered, spend a lot of time at home base. If you have any pets I'd be happy to meet them and even occasionally petsit ;) Please feel free to message me. If you are more than 20 minutes drive from Thornbury, it won't be suitable. I can move in a little later than the date I have provided. It is flexible. Just let me know and we can meet and discuss. Cheers, :)
I’m a thoughtful and considerate housemate who values clear communication. Clean, good natured and reliable. I cook often and have an interest in live music, both as a performer and spectator. I get along well with pets, and am generally pretty easy going. Interests also include meditation and pondering the human condition. I’m traveling in Australia to have new experiences, and meet new people. I like Melbourne, and if I can find a place to live here, I would like to stay.
I'm a country girl from South Australia and have been living at my current place in Doncaster for 3 years, but the property has been sold. I'm studying full-time at Latrobe and a qualified teacher, teaching part-time at St Helena's SC. I have an adorable 4 y.o., fully trained, female, (inside) pug. I need to bring my own furniture and/or have a place to store it. I have everything, but can store unnecessary items. I'm not interested in typical "student accommodation" (4+ housemates), I prefer to share with 2 others. I'm quiet and spend most of my time working and studying, but I don't live/hide in my room. I'm easy going, like to have fun, am considerate and respectful. I'm tidy and always clean up after myself. I'm looking to move around the 2/02/2019.
I'm currently doing a research degree at RMIT, so i spend most of my time at uni. I like to experiment in the kitchen but make sure clean up after myself. I'm kinda introverted so mostly keep to myself, but would love to hangout sometime. Due to my mild case of OCD, i tend to keep my place neat and clean. I'm responsible, cooperative and can easily adjust to changes.
Hi! My name is Owen and I'm a fresh grad, looking for a place to stay. I'm currently in the midst of looking for work in my study related profession, but rent is not a problem as I clean privately. I appreciate a clean and well kept home, and will do my part in keeping it that way. I also enjoy cooking and baking, so you can expect some food! Other things I enjoy are gaming, going out for brunch with friends on the weekends (or food in general), just chilling at home and some yoga. I also love furry friends, so they aren't an issue! (Bonus points if you have a doggo). I'm respectful of your space and am a private person myself, but am always open for a chat if you'd like. Most importantly, if you're looking for a housemate and a friend, I hope to fit your bill!
I’m easy going male IT professional with stable income employed at University in fulltime capacity (Mon - Fri / 9-5). I'm clean, tidy, respectful of other's personal space and am always up for a chat. Please let me know if I sound like a good fit for your home and I can come and meet you.
My name is Simon and I work for NAB. I’ve recently returned from Sydney and am currently staying in thornbury. I’m looking to rent somewhere for the medium to long term that is furnished. I work full time Monday to Friday and spend spare time reading, gym, Netflix, fairly active. I work in Docklands so this is a great location. I like to cook, I spent a lot of time in hospitality before moving to finance. I’m not a room hermit but also respect other people’s need to have their own time and space. I’d be interested in having a look at the room and meeting you if it’s still available. Im not in a rush to move, but the sooner the better. Please don’t hesitate to contact me for any more information or to arrange a time to meet. Talk soon.
I am a 25 year old professional relocating from Newcastle NSW to Melbourne to take on a BDM role for an Educational Resources company. I will be spending most of my time either on the road around the city visiting childcare centres, or working in the CBD at the office, however will be required to work from home a little bit (and would love a study space/corner!) I have lived in share houses previously, and really enjoy it. I like to keep things relatively clean and tidy. I am an active and a social person - I’ll often be up and about in the morning with the dogs, and hitting the gym after work, but do love my wine and cheese and a night in or out as well. I have a 10 year old Jack Russell. She is an absolute sweetheart and gets on well with other dogs, but as she is getting old she spends most of her time sleeping or snoozing in the sunshine and isn’t too playful anymore. I also have a 3 year old Ridgeback mix. He is very quiet and loves a good belly rub. Where I am now, I take them out regularly, and am happy to help out with yours too. As I’m still in Newcastle, I can’t actually come and have a look at the room straight away (though am hoping to be able to come down for a weekend to check places out in the next couple of weeks), but am more than happy to have a chat over phone, Social Media etc, whatever works for you! My starting date for the new job is 3rd December (so soon!!), so looking to move in the days prior to that - ideally the Thursday/Friday before, but do have a couch to crash on if this needs to be pushed out a few days. I look forward to hearing from you!
My name is Andrew - I am 24, open minded, vegetarian, house trained and a keen musician. I completed an honours degree in fine art at RMIT and now as a freelance artist at home as well as a stage hand setting up events. I am an energetic person with good values and always keen for a chat but also always keen to not chat also if required !! My current share house in Northcote is being demolished and I need to find somewhere asap to stay for 1 month short term as I will be returning home to the Blue Mountains at the end of the year.
We are cousins originally from the country who've been through our share of share houses! With 8 years renting experience between us we know how to keep tidy, respect people's space and cook for a crowd! Both fans of footy, live music and great food, we are working students looking for a place to call home :)
hi Guys. I'm 36 years of age and looking for accommodation for one person only, which is myself. I'll be looking at moving in late December or early January. I was born in Australia, but come from an Italian backround, so I have respect and I am very mindful and take care of other people belongings. I get along with absolutely anyone as I am always chirpy and a little loud, so im always up for a chat, but also totally understand if you would prefer quiet time and your own space. I totally love my alone time also, I am a very good cook, and am studying youth work. If you like what you read please contact me 😁😀😀😀😀😁 Grace
Hello! I'm looking for a new home! I'm 29, vegetarian, love craft beer, music festivals, bass music, meditating, running and cleaning ;) I'm looking for a calm and happy household, I tend to be out the house a lot, but when I'm home I really value knowing my housemates and getting along. I work full time 9-5, happy with long or short term & happy to go on the lease. Ideally I would like to move in the first week of October but I'm flexible for the right place. I look forward to meeting you! :)
Hello, me and my partner have recently moved to Melbourne. We're looking for somewhere to stay for the short term up until we go away for Christmas. We're easy going, tidy and respectful people. We enjoy meeting people but also do our own stuff. We love food - eating out and cooking and are interested in nutrition and health. Both like to swim and do yoga sometimes :)
Hi, my name is Francisca (Veterinarian, 32 years old). Currently I work at a cat shelter in Greensborough on the weekends and some days during the week. I am a very easy going and respectful roommate. I really enjoy cooking dinner, sharing some of my Chilean dishes with you and having good conversations with some beers or wine. I am looking for a place where the people are also interested in maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the common areas.
Hi all! My name is Sarah Todd and I am a writer/media student from Brisbane. I am currently working on publishing my short stories, and I also work part time. I am extremely tidy and respectful, but would love to build friendships and have a chat every once in a while over a couple drinks. In my spare time you'll catch me reading, watching trashy netflix shows, or hanging out with my mates. Cheers! :)
