We are Kostas and Elena, a young, friendly couple from Greece. Both of us are 27 years old, and we are working at Melbourne the last 9 months. We like to meet new people and cultures, and both of us have experience living with other people and respecting their privacy, while at the same time like to socialise and have interesting discussions. Elena is an accountant and likes music, dance, exercising and travelling. Kostas is an IT engineer and likes music, reading books and exercising too. We have already lived in a shared house in Melbourne and the experience was great. If you have anything that fits our criteria please do not hesitate to send us a message!
hi! My name's Kirsten and I'm looking for a new place to call home :) I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a house or townhouse in Melbourne's inner north, preferably between $180 and $260ish a week. I work full-time in communication and study writing on the side. In my spare time I'm usually buying books, at the movies, spending time at my bf's place, or talking rubbish at the pub. I don't have any pets except for a few cute plants I can dot around the house. I'm not home all the time, but when I am I'm more than happy to have a chat and chill out together over some wine/food. My idea of a great share house is one where we can hang out together sometimes, but also do our own things when we want. And somewhere where everyone's happy to tidy up/do their bit to create a happy home. I reckon I'm pretty laid back, but I'm also clean and know that everyone plays a part when you're sharing. My move date's flexible, but preferably around the middle/end of May. Hit me up if you think we might be good together!
I'm Ash, I'm 24 turning 25 this year. I work at Melbourne airport and would like to live closer to work and the city. I'm fun, bubbly and social but also love my down time and own space. I'm clean, tidy and respectful. I am a shift worker so my hours are all over the place. Would much prefer a housemate/housemates who I can become good friends with, rather than living with a stranger and the only contact is hi and bye.
Hey, Let us tell you a little about ourselves :) My name is Nikita. I'm a Barista, in the process of working towards owning my own cafe. I love to travel, experience new things and I do my best to make the most of what each day has to offer. I'm very friendly and outgoing and I have no trouble making friends with new people. My partner is Alex, a qualified Electrician, also studying Project Management. Alex is super chilled, likes having a good laugh and keeping busy experiencing new things. He's always up for meeting new people and making new friends. We're both very easy going people, happy to keep to ourselves, or just as happy to be in a more social living arrangement and make new friends. We both work Monday - Friday and keep pretty busy over the weekends. Alex swims 3 nights a week and I attend kickboxing 3 nights a week so we're never just hanging about the house too much. Anyway, we're basically good people, saving for a place of our own and we'd love the opportunity to find some fellow good people to rent with until it's time to buy a place of our own. If we sound like your type of people, please let us know :)
Hi I'm an expat of the Hills in the Dandenong Ranges and have been happily living in town for the last 6months. I wanted to stay longer but the council has an issue with our landlord so we had to move out immediately. I'm on a mission to find an alternative ASAP. I love live music, camping, gardening, cycling, photography and I spend most of my week nights catching up with friends, wandering through parks, seeing movies or listening to some of the awesome local roots music in a cosy back street bar. I'm a professional at the share house thing and have references but most importantly, I'm respectful, tidy, honest and I pay up on time. I have a full time 8:30 - 5:30pm Mon-Fri job as an Inventory Controller & I'm gay but haven't been practicing for about 5yrs so not sure if it counts?
Hello! We're Matt (30) and Caroline (31). We've from the UK, we've been travelling for 6 months and have a year in Australia ahead of us. We're reliable, friendly, and think we're pretty easy to live with - we've both houseshared our way through the past 10 years in London, so we should be housetrained by now! We'll both be working FT, and will hopefully be mostly relaxing on weekends. With beers and good food!
I am looking to move to Melbourne from Sydney at the start of May. I am from Ireland, and have lived in many houseshares before, so I know how it should work :) I've lived in Ireland, England, Germany and Canada and I love meeting people from other countries. I am clean, quiet and respectful of other people. I am very neat and always clean and tidy up after myself. I enjoy having chats with my housemates, hanging out, watching tv, going out for food, going to the cinema/theatre/events and I look forward to making new friends. I'm not a drinker or a big party-person, so there'll be no issues with me making noise or anything like that. I'm a massive Harry Potter fan, and for tv shows, I love Sherlock, Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, and all the Marvel movies. I also love dogs! Hopefully, some of these interests match with my new housemates! Please let me know if you have a private , furnished room available to rent and please consider me as your fun new housemate! :)
Hey, yep. Its me. Just a strange, introspective animator/digital artist. Here's a list of things that make my life enjoyable ~ ✨ cooking ✨ sleeping ✨ podcasts ✨ dancing ✨ board/card/role playing games ✨ all the other videoscreen things ✨ riding my bike e v e r y w h e r e ✨ I currently work 5 days a week for a video game studio in South Melbourne. I am often out at the studio, but my work schedule is pretty flexible and requires great internet and desk space when I need to work from home. My cat, Kami is very affectionate and sure make you like cats if you don't already. She's super motivated by pats and attention. Kami warms to new people incredibly quickly and actually just really good company. That being said, kami does have other options if pets aren't a thing.

I socialise easily and enjoy a good laugh. Can cook and have easy access to wine if needed ;) Love watching movies and sports and enjoy the escape music provides.

Hi guy, My name is sinan, I recently moved to Melbourne from perth. Im a chilled out person whos easy to get along with. i respect people privacy and im very clean person. Im looking for a room to rent hopefully with ensuit in areas close to my work ( brunswick )
Hi there! I'm a postgraduate student at Unimelb, and I'm looking for a private room, but I'm open to sharing a room with the right person. Looking for something that's close to public transport - this is pretty important to me. A furnished room is preferred, as I haven't got furniture with me. Move-in date is flexible. I do have to study a lot, so I'll need a quiet place because I'm one of those people who just can't study with noise :( but in my downtime I'd love to chat and have a laugh with my flatmates! I'm looking to make friends and not just to fill a room :) I'm a very positive and friendly person. I love a good laugh and enjoy dad jokes/puns/memes :P I keep my stuff (and the house) neat and clean. When I'm not studying I'm reading, or watching TV shows or movies. Huge cricket fan, and will watch and enjoy pretty much any sport :D I'm new to the city so I'd also like to explore the place but haven't really got round to it yet haha! I hope I've covered everything (these things are hard to write!). Please message me if there's anything you'd like to know :) Cheers, Ally
Hi there, my name is Nilusha Lakshan but you can call me Neal originally from Sri Lanka and currently study Masters in Accounting at Victoria Uni. Interested in hanging out with people, doing fun stuff, making new friends. I'm looking for a nice place to stay. Please feel free to contact
Hey there! Here you have Matt (me) and my girlfriend Martine (much cooler than me). We’re both looking for a decent sized room that we could share and, ideally, our own bathroom. A decent public transport line into the city is also important. What you’re getting are two very friendly and sociable individuals who enjoy a wide variety of things such as music, film, art, travelling and DIY (Martine). I’m a recent professional working full-time for the Australian Government as an investigator (sounds very cool when I use that word) and Martine is a professional bartender and mixologist (with wicked flair talents) studying her bachelor of Marketing. I moved here from South Africa 11 years ago and Martine is about to come over (also from South Africa) in late May/early June. We are considerate and tidy individuals who would obviously pay our rent on time and would like the occasional housemate chill/drinks/meal but as a couple are also appreciative of our own space and time with each other.
I'm moving to Australia; prefer to live in Melbourne of all places; and looking for an affordable living quarter while I job hunt. Then we'll see :) I am 37 this July, married with 1 child and another on the way :) But I will be on my own for time being. No current plans to get the family out here.
I am looking for a place which feels like a home. As a housemate, i will try and fit in with others by being respectful of space and boundaries, and by considerate and adaptable. I like both going out and staying in. So i am not a party animal neither a home body. At home, i like to enjoy a quiet, tranquil environment, like a sanctuary, and i love to read so if you are one to create lots of loud activity each day and night it's unlikely to work. I am clean, tidy and hygienic without being pedantic or anal. I love to keep fit, active and healthy and like to cook and eat mostly clean and healthy food. I am originally from Adelaide but have lived in Melbourne for a year and i love this city. I am full time government employee and law graduate but am also a creative and artistic person. If you think we may be compatible please contact me, i would love to meet you! In regards to furniture, i have bedroom furniture but nothing else.
My name is Leaira and I am a recent Master's graduate from UCL in London. Im from the States but Ive been studying archaeology and anthropology in the UK for the last five years. This is my first time in Australia and Im really excited about getting involved in the cultural aspects of Melbourne. I'll be looking for jobs in museums, galleries, and cultural centres, and will be employed full time in retail during my search. As a flatmate, Im very tidy but I dont mind if others are not. I love to cook so I'll probably cook you a nice meal during my stay. Im always happy to chill with flatmates and have a drink or two.
