I am currently working for Indonesian company as finance analyst.I love soccer, pop alternative musics (for an example Andrew bird ), "reading" if it's historical book otherwise I am easily get bored and also travelling lover. Again we are open minded people and we are glad to meet new interesting people and if we can share part of our live them, it will be a bonus.
Fun, easy going, clean and loves cooking, live music, cycling and exploring the city at night and countryside by day. Living in Doncaster at the mo and working in Nunawading but have decided, I need to make the move to the more happening inner burbs and properly experience Melbourne. Made in Ireland.
I'm a working professional about to move to Melbourne. Originally from Brisbane. I've lived in share-houses all through uni and am pretty easy going, flexible and clean. Good balance between social and respectful of privacy. Pretty low key during the working, but love to socialise, chat and have a beer with friends. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi, I'm Giuliana, looking for a longer-term place to call home in a sharehouse with another 2 or more people. About me: During the week I work 8.30-5, 4 days per week at a university library, and spend 2-3 nights a week at yoga. Aside from yoga, I love hiking, camping and nature connection, travel, cooking (and eating!), motorbike riding, spending quality time with friends and family, veggie and herb gardening; so would love a place with a decent sized backyard with a veggie garden, or the space for one as well as for composting, all the better if there are housemates who'd like to share in this as I've still got a lot to learn! About what I’m seeking: There are all sorts of people I'd enjoy living with. I'm a thoughtful, open-minded, respectful, grounded, tidy, sustainability-focused person looking to share with other gentle, caring people with similar values; and amongst all of that sharing a healthy dose of humour is most welcome. I'm looking for a longer-term share house (which is why I’ve written so much!) so it's important to me to find a place with people where we can create a healthy household dynamic; which can only really come through clarity in communication. While this can be difficult at times and we’re all learning, it’s super important for me and the people I share with to be willing to try to communicate openly, gently and respectfully to the best of our abilities. I have a fulfilling social life, however I'd really like to live with others who are more than just people I live in the same house with; I'd like to share communal meals and chats regularly. However I also need alone time, and am respectful of other people’s need for that also. I'm currently used to preparing my own meals, but am very open and welcoming to communal living, food sharing, and perhaps also composting. I'm not vegetarian or vegan, but I rarely eat meat and I've happily lived with vegans and vegetarians before. About the house: In terms of the house itself, some things I’d really like (though not essential, unless there’s none of them) are: - Gas stove top (for cooking! Electric or induction are a bit limiting) - Undercover parking for my motorbike (I have a cover for it, but much easier to just park under something) - A backyard that gets some sunlight and has, or has space to grow herbs and veggies (even if it’s just concrete that you can put plant pots on) - An older house with character, with larger rooms and more natural light (I’m not a big fan of those townhouses going up all over the place) - I’m particularly interested in moving to Thornbury, Preston, Fairfield, Northcote, North Fitzroy (not necessarily in the order), but surrounding suburbs like Ivanhoe, Alphington, Brunswick and Coburg may also be suitable. I have a mish-mash of furniture including a fridge (oldish), and a washing machine (newish). I'm willing to shed what's not needed though as most of it I've collected along the way from family and friends. I have some lovely indoor plants which I'd love to share with my new housemates as some of them are little big for the bedroom! I don’t have a particular date I need to be out of my current place by, but I’d ideally like to have at least 3 weeks notice so my existing housemate has a chance to find a new sharer also. Would love to hear from you if you think I'd suit your share home.
I am a 29 year old male who works as a legal assistant for a city law firm. I am a great flatmate because I am social, very tidy and respect other people's privacy. I like to make new friends and I understand that its important to keep noise down at night so that everyone can sleep. I am a Melbourne local and like to travel, read, watch movies and go out drinking with friends for fun. Please don't hesitate to message me and I will be more than happy to meet you and look at your property. I am looking for a place close to a train station that is around $200 per week and looking to stay for a minimum of 6 months. I usually stay with my partner or parents on a Friday or Saturday night so you will mostly have the place to yourself on weekends!
I've recently moved to Melbourne from Perth and am looking for a fun place to live! I'm 28, working full time as a facade engineer in the city and easy going. I only came here with some boxes of clothes and a motorbike so I prefer being outdoors in my spare time either at the gym, hiking or reading. Would like to check out places in Melbourne and see what's good out there, don't mind the occasional pub or bar venture and good conversations! Looking for like minded hassle free people, would prefer a place for a minimum of 6 months. 😊 Don't require a furnished room as I have a bed sorted. 😊
PhD educated woman. Italian background, Aussie for a long time now. Relaxed, very friendly, trustworthy, I have a lot of interests - tango, heritage, conservation, live music, theatre, musicals, food, languages - and happy to share them with flatmates or keep them private if it is a better arrangement. I seek a nice friendly place to call home. Any questions just ask :)
I'm Nick, 27, on a working holiday visa from Manchester in the UK. I'll be in Melbourne for around 6 months until April 2019. I'm laid back and easy to get on with. I work full time in construction at the moment but I'm always up for a going out after work or just staying in watching Netflix. I'm an active person so enjoy days out at the weekend if I'm not too hungover. I'm always clean & tidy so you'll never have to worry about cleaning up after me. If you think this sounds anything like you then we'll get on pretty well.
I am moving from Auckland, New Zealand to pursue a PhD in Melbourne by late January 2019. Taking my time to find a place. I’m social, love to cook and I’m clean and tidy. Reliable and easy going by nature makes me easy to live with.
Hey ! I'm Coralie, a french girl travelling alone & looking for new professional challenges :) My plan is to stay as long as I can in Melbourne in a safe district & appartement. I'm very positive & smiling, looking for cool roomates, 27 - 35years old, man &/or woman. I'll be very happy to meet you :)
I'm a Londoner working as a freelance music events professional, looking to make a new home in Melbourne for the summer. I'm hoping to work through the Australian festival and outdoor music event season - something which has taken me to Glastonbury and the Croatian Coast in the past. I'm a huge fan of music of all genres and I am always trying to go out and support the local scene. Whenever I'm not working I am nearly always travelling somewhere, somehow, on some ridiculous budget, going out to watch music, cycling, going on hiking/nature weekends and hanging out with friends. I've lived in plenty of house shares in London, Cape Town and around Europe, so I can easily adapt and fit into any space. I prefer to live in a social, positive, clean environment with open-minded people where I can have a laugh and maybe polish off a bottle of wine or two. I'm planning to get a bike when I arrive in Melbourne so I'd like somewhere secure to store that. I'm an extremely liberal person and I'm attracted to people of all genders - you must be an accepting, inclusive household.
Hey there! I have just moved to Melbourne from NZ and am currently looking for a place! I’m a chill person who loves to socialise but also kick back with some alone time. Love to cook, and am clean and tidy!
Relaxed mature tenant (50) that enjoys both privacy or sharing a bit of time with housemates if mutual. I'm open to different lifestyles and most opinions and I enjoy cooking and having a few drinks. I like to keep things clean and tidy without being pedantic about it. I have a car but also enjoy using my bike for transport and fun. I sometimes go away for cycling weekends. I'm open to both short and long term options if suitable.
I have a lot of plants, am house proud and clean up after myself. I'm generally pretty quietand easy going but I'm always up for a chat and a drink. LGBTQIA+ friendly. I'm negotiable on the move in date, ideally I'd move in within the next month or so
Hi! My name is Malisa. I am a 29 year old architect from Perth. I have been living and working in Melbourne for the past year and a half after relocating from two years in London. I am friendly, tidy and sociable and have lived in two great share houses for several years each previously. I enjoy having a glass of wine and chilling/chatting with housemates but am happy to do my own thing as well. In my spare time I like going out to cook, get outdoors, see exhibitions, live music as well as going to a spontaneous life drawing or yoga class. I am ideally looking for a room in a friendly, fun and clean share house around the Princes Hill, Fitzroy, Carlton or Brunswick East area from the early November onwards! I also would be interested in teaming up with some other people and creating a new share house of 3-4 people Thanks Malisa
I like traveling and have lived in Japan for a few years where I taught at a university. I'm now working and completing a diploma in Japanese part time. I can speak Japanese pretty fluently and am pursuing it more so I can use it at work. As well as studying and working I like to keep active. I go to gym and play futsal twice a week. I'd like to live with people people share similar interests. Anyone who speaks another language or is interested in international culture will probably get along with me. My other hobbies include music, and snowboarding (when I can). I'm usually pretty quiet but also happy socializing with people I live with. I'm clean, sociable and easy to get along with.
Friendly, tidy, organised and social. I'm respectful of others privacy and space. Looking to live someone who has common sense and is responsible, tidy and sociable. Work as an accountant full time in the city, Monday to Friday.
I'm an easy-going 25 year old guy from India, working full time in Melbourne CBD. A non-vegetarian too. My clients are based in Melbourne CBD (I'm a tech consultant), so I'm looking for an accommodation preferably near to CBD or less than 5km from CBD. I'm a smoker (outside the house), but I am also a very clean person. Non-judgmental and understanding. I blend in with people easily. I'm very responsible when it comes to doing my share of the household work, paying rent/bills, etc. I don't have pets but I'm totally fine with them being in the house. I will respect your privacy, quiet-time and expect the same from you too. I'm looking to move in by December 1. Perks of living with me: 1. I've a couple friends who are pursuing their masters in Melbourne. You get to socialize with them, their friends and so on (on weekends), if you want to. 2. You get an ensemble of recommendations about trending and amazing Movies/TV Series to binge on. 3. A lending ear to your problems and tons of free and good advice whenever you need it. 4. One stop solution to all your PC problems. I love fixing Windows PCs/Laptops. So if you ever got a problem, you know what to do. 5. Exceptional critic and reviewer when it comes to patching up job resumes, blog articles etc. 6. A co-op mate if you're into gaming. 7. You get to taste a lot of Indian dishes and be a part of several experimental cooking recipes. Don't worry about the spices, I'm versatile :) Don't hesitate to ask me if you want to know more.
Hey there! We’re Issy & Phil and we’re 2 brits who have been in Melbourne since July. Sadly, our contract for our sharehouse in Abbotsford is coming to an end, so we are looking for somewhere to move into in November, for about 6/7/8 months. A bit about me: I'm Issy and 24. I’m friendly, fun, open minded and love living in Melbourne and exploring the city. I love travelling, art galleries, good food (eating and cooking it), live music, socialising with friends, photography, yoga, skiing and keeping busy! I've been doing an exchange for a few months at Melb Uni for my Master’s in Architecture, which ends in a few weeks & then I’m hoping to get a job in an architect office here. A bit about Phil: Phil is a positive, laid back and fun guy to be around. Phil loves playing guitar, reading all kinds of books, being outdoors, surfing, trying new things & music. Phil is currently working in hospo, office work and volunteers at Lentil as Anything! Having lived in various flatshares over the past few years (I have lived with 18 people in Amsterdam and Stockholm!) we can say that we are easy to live with, as we're clean, respectful and easy to get along with. We do not smoke or have pets (but we love animals). We're both veggie (and Issy is Vegan). Thank you so much for your time and we look forward to hearing from you! Issy & Phil
I'm a 3rd year Zoology student in Monash University graduating at the end of this semester. I'm currently living on campus but I plan on moving closer to the city (or better yet, in the CBD itself) just cause I like the city life and everything going on around it. In my free time I enjoy going to brunch with my friends, volunteer at a mobile zoo called reptile encounters and just being out and about in the city. As a housemate, I'm easygoing, neat & tidy, respectful of personal space, enjoy a fair share of time to myself but am also up for a chat whenever. Looking for some place that is somewhat long term, ranging from 6 - 12 months.
I'm happiest when I'm home in a clean house and will see to it that my part is covered. I'm a working professional in two companies so will likely not be home very much during the week but love some friendly banter when i am. I'll often offer some of my cooking when i meal prep, bit of a feeder here (Filipino). Will pretty much be out and about most of the time, and will otherwise be home for some down time.
