Hi Everyone, I am currently working full time in the CBD area and looking to team up with one or two people to find an existing share house around the CBD area. About me: I am a pretty easygoing, relaxed and friendly type of person who is neat and tidy and always happy to help complete jobs around the place, be supportive of my flatmates, be respectful of everyone, enjoys a good chat and happy to cook and share a meal with my housemates and don't mind staying in and having some quiet drinks with friends. I like pets, going to gym when I can and don't mind watching a bit of Netflix from time to time. Look forward to hearing from you, please send me a message if your interested!
Hello! :) My name is Avleen and I'm a 29 year-old female originally from Sydney. I'll be studying at Monash this year and am looking for an affordable place to rent in Melbourne. Ideally I'd like to be close to Clayton but am flexible as long as it's roughly within my price range. I'm friendly, easygoing and clean. I love having a good chat now and then over a tea or beer, and also enjoy time to myself. Thanks in advance and hoping to find somewhere great on here :) xo
Hi I am Renee and I am 19 years old. I am hoping to find a new home to share with a group of out going open minded people around Prahan, St Kilda, CBD, Richmond areas. I am a trustworthy, tidy person who enjoys cooking, travelling and going out with friends. I am excited for a change of environment and to find a good home with fun, positive and understanding housemates who are needing a new companion in their home.
I am from Japan, 29 years old. Now I'm staying with Aussie friends, and they say it's very easy to live with me, because I do care about people a lot. I am good at keeping the room clean, thoughtful, etc. I'm sure you'll feel lucky to live with me. Also, I work at a sushi shop, and bring some sushi from work, so if you love sushi, that would be awesome!
I'm in my late twenties and will be relocating to Melbourne for a full time job. I'm clean and tidy. I am easy going and can get along with people well. I consider myself as a social butterfly but not a big party person. I like to keep active - so most of my spare time are filled with catching up with friends, playing sports or cooking. I've lived in multiple share houses in the past and never had a problem. I love to cook and having great food which is part of the reason I am relocating to Melbourne (because of the amazing food)! If you share similar value and looking for a housemate, please get in contact.
I'm a easy going, fun-loving guy. I'm currently work full-time in a corporate professional environment (I.T Professional). I'm originally from Mount Waverley and currently renting in South Melbourne. I like to stay fit and hit the gym most week days and on the weekends I like to chill with friends.
Hi there, I am mature, clean, considerate and polite. I am currently completing a masters degree in social work and psychological studies and I work freelance. I keep to myself for the most part, and I am also very health conscious and try to be positive about life. Happy to share a drink and chat too though. Looking for a girl or guy to share with 30-43. I am just looking for a safe, quiet and peaceful place to live and study while I finish a degree. I am a very respectful, gentle and considerate person. I have a complete apartments worth of some really great furniture; including a white stereo, Smart tv, lovely couch, and appliances. The best situation would be someone who is looking for a flatmate who is without these items. However, I am open to sharing 2-3 max if an ensuite is available - and can place my items at storage at the right price - probably $180-$220 a week to share. Otherwise $250-$270 in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom house for rent is good ;) with the furniture. I have always payed my bills on time, and consider myself to be a reliable person, looking for the same. Looking for new lease 1 year+ or 9 months approx or more.
Hey, I'm Nikki and I just moved here from Brisbane to start a full time job. I am looking to share a flat with people who are easygoing and enjoy a laugh. I'm super clean and tidy and don't mind doing my share of all the house chores!
I am a friendly and fun New Zealander looking for a nice place to stay with some nice people. I easily make friends and love going out with them to explore or do fun stuff. In hospo so can cook, clean and am reasonably good at solving problems.
Community Development student, keen on volunteering and working in retail in a secure job. Spiritual, non-drinker and non-smoker. I have lived in shared accommodation before, too. Don't mind the occasional chat and meal with housemates 😁
We are a mother and daughter looking for a great place to live in the area of Brunswick or Carlton areas. My daughter will be going to school in 2018 so I'm looking at school zone areas to move into. We are pretty busy and spend week nights at home and weekends out and about. I'm a full time teacher and mum who has been living on my own with my girl for quite a while. Would love to find a spacious, clean house with a chilled out person who enjoys a chat but also their own space. I go to the gym 3-4 times per week and enjoy bike riding and doing things with friends. Pretty normal really! Would need to 2 rooms. 🙂 Happy to start a lease too! Oh and we have a cat called Lolly Poppins.
Friendly, respectful and tidy I work full time 5:30am-7:30pm 5-7 days p/w so your personal space and privacy will not be an issue.
Hey guys ! I’m moving to Melbourne in February to start my masters in arts and cultural management at Melbourne Uni. I’m french (though I’m told I’m less of a grump than the average darling français), have studied in London and have since lived and worked between Berlin, NY and Paris. I’ve been living with flatmates for the past 4years, so I know the drill! Each flatshare went really well and I’ve become firm friends with those I shared with. Now for the shameless self promotion - I’m clean, easy going, respectful of others’ space and tend do my own thing at home, though I’ll also often be up for the occasional drinks/cooking/boogie-ing/movie watching together. You'll generally find me listening to music or reading up on les arts - though I'll also realistically be quite busy studying. I do go out a fair bit, so also always happy to team up - whether it's to galleries,to cafes, to dance to the world's best tunes, walk up and down markets or ride around by bike. I'm waiting for my phone card to be delivered, so haven't got a working phone - best find me on here or on facebook and I'll answer as soon as I have wifi. Let me know if you would be interested in meeting up Bestest and kindest !
Hello ! We are couple coming from San Francisco and Paris. I (Ethel) will be studying in Swinburne University and Kimo will be working. We will be in Australia for around 6 months. We are familiar with Australia as we were both living in Sydney but we are new to Melbourne. We want to make the most of Melbourne and ideally want to find flatmates who we can enjoy with and not just live in the same place. We are clean and tidy and lots of fun on the evening and week-ends but we also like to chill. We enjoy seeing live music, travelling, Kimo likes to cook and we are respectful of the place. Now let's answer the question in everybody's mind : we do not fight :), we've been together for 3 years and we are not one of those annoying couples, we are fun to be around together of separately.
I’m Richelle, I’m 25 years old and I study and work part time. I study at the in North Melbourne as well as working as a disability support worker and development coordinator. I guess the things you need to know about me are I have a little dog, called Hugo. He’s a boston terrier and is extremely well behaved. I am happy to talk to you guys about a pet bond if that’s something you’re open to.
Hey! I'm Lori, I'm 26 years old from the UK. I have been travelling for almost 4 months around Asia before moving to Oz in December 2016. Currently with friends in Sydney but can't wait to move to Melbourne! I am a paediatric nurse and will be working full time. I'm looking for an awesome house/apartment with awesome house mates! No preference on age/gender. When I'm not working I like to lead a healthy balanced lifestyle. I love yoga/working out but am also a sucker for red wine and chocolate! I love to cook and hang out with friends in the evenings. I love dancing and music so you'll normally find me blasting a few tunes rather than watching tv.
Turning 18 in May and wanting to move to Melbourne from Perth to study a Bachelor of Arts at the university of Melbourne. Looking for a central place to rent near the Uni. Will also be working part time over there. I'm easy going, tidy and respectful :-)
I am from Pakistan. I recently graduated from high school and will now be studying at the University of Melbourne. My hobbies include working out, watching movies, listening to music and last but not least, obsessing over cars. I also like to play sports such as football, volleyball and cricket, as well as track/field. I can be flexible when it comes to sharing a place with someone. I don't drink or smoke, but I don't mind if others around me do either. I am not a vegetarian (for those whom it may concern), and I don't despise vegetarians either haha. I'm also cool with pets. I think the only thing I can be guilty of is taking too long to brush my teeth in the morning, so if we're sharing a bathroom we'll have to work around that. Also, I am a firm believer in personal space. I wouldn't want to intrude anyone's set boundaries of personal space and would prefer likewise in return.
Hi everyone! My name is Libby, I'm 31, into nature, reading, drawing, chai tea + ambient cafes (all at once if possible), craft-a-noons and pottering around outside. I have a daily practice of yoga and meditation and am passionate about healthy eating. I also love the creative outlet of playing my uke but, warning, am a total beginner. Extra play time is spent hanging out with friends, on the phone to friends, or watching movies / docos. I can be a bit of a hermit at times, enjoying my own private time, but I've been told that I bring a calm and positive vibe into a home and I find solace in that zen, clean and tidy sort of feel, meaning, I'm a tidy person! I'm a quiet house mate - no late night shenanigans for me - but I'm always up for a chat when I cross paths with a roomie and though I generally like to organise my own food, I love sharing the odd meal to catch up and hang out together. On food, I'm not vego, but try to eat consciously and mostly paleo (I do cook meat). I don't have a dog at this stage, but I can't wait to get a rescue dog! Hopefully this will happen in the next few months, so looking for a dog-friendly place. In terms of a home, I'm seeking a quiet, zen, and peaceful household. One that's clean, tidy and cosy - fairy lights and pot plants a bonus. Must have an outside space, otherwise I tend to wither. Sharing with just one other 28 yr old + female is my ideal. Have an excellent day, and please get in touch if you think we could be a match! Libby.
I am a 25 year old, non-smoking, easy going guy who loves to create animations, illustrations and paint, cook and chat to like minded people. I work fulltime at RMIT University teaching Digital Media, but I love to relax, watch movies or work on creative projects in my downtime.
HiI I'm Ruwanthi,I'm a 23 yr old Srilankan who will be starting a Masters at unimelb in Feb. I'm an easy to live with and fun person who is always up for a chat, but I'm also very quite and will respect your privacy. Really exited to be coming to Melbourne and meeting my new flatmates :D
Hey! I am seeking a new humble abode since moving out of home. I'm studying Nursing, enjoy a glass of wine and kitchen hangs, keeping fit and occasionally binge watching Netflix! The ideal house would hopefully have a garden (big or small), decent shower water pressure and a few legends to share good chats with. I would love to hear from you if think I might be a good addition to your place!
My name's Liam, I'm 20 years old and I am moving on the 17th to study Law at Victoria Uni. I'm clean, quiet, and easy to get along with. I have a casual job lined up already. Ideally I am looking for somewhere close to the Craigieburn line so I can get to work easily. I enjoy music, rowing, and good conversation. Send me a message!

Looking forward to hearing from you :)
Hi there Thanks for taking the time to read my listing. I'm a first year medical student at the University of Melbourne. I'm hoping to find a room to live in as soon as possible. I'm clean, tidy, and most importantly, I respect others and their needs. I keep to myself, although I'm always down for some talking, social drinks or just a simple coffee. Also I'm a non-smoker so you won't need to worry about that. I'm even slightly OCD so I will make sure I maintain the place as best I can. I'm a photographer in my spare time, as well as a tutor (both paid and volunteering). Furnished or not, that's fine. I'm planning on buying my own bed and mattress anyway, but definitely let me know what you've got. I'm from Sydney, but I did my bachelor's degree in Queensland at Griffith University. I've lived in share houses before so I know what to expect as well. Let me know if you're interested in taking me on as a flatmate, I won't disappoint. Once again, thanks for your time. Phil.
Hi Friends, I am on the look out for a new home for myself and my kitty Oscar, Preferably northside, Brunswick, Northcote, Thornbury areas. I am currently in Brunswick east and have been for the last year and 4 months. About Sam: 26, going on 27 - working full time in Marketing and dabbling in freelance graphic design. I love cooking, cheeky glasses of wine and anything creative. I have a good (yet to be great) record collection :) I am super tidy and very respectful of others space. About Oscar: He is super self sufficient, he roams around the hood all day making kitty friends and comes home of a night when I finish work. Give me a message if you have a room OR if you're looking to start a new lease :) Love Sam & Oscar
I'm housetrained, quiet, respectful and clean. I like my own space but also really enjoy socialising with the people I live with, preferably over a cup of tea, a nice glass of red wine or a cold beer, depending on my mood! I love cooking and whilst I'm not vegetarian I tend to eat that way most of the time. I cook a lot of stuff I find off Facebook and I am happy to share it with you! Superpowers include making messes disappear as if by magic, cuddling puppies, getting good bargains whilst food shopping, dancing around the house to great music and being generally respective of diverse views, beliefs and lifestyles. Hit me up if any of that sounds remotely appealing!
Hi guys, my name is Austin and I'm looking for a new place to live in Melbourne :) I'm an easy going, chilled out, clean kind of guy. I enjoy all kinds of sports, getting out and about, catching a good film or checking out a new bar. I'm a very organised individual as i work full time and study full time as well. I'm ideally looking for a place around Kew, Fitzroy, Collingwood, Northcote or Brunswick. If you need a new housemate who always pays bills and rent on time and isn't a hermit, feel free to send me a message. :)
Looking for friendly, clean, respectful house share. Age late 20's to 40 is fine. I'm a homely person, i like to come home and feel safe and secure. I have a professional office support work back ground, although I've left this industry to pursue a career in nursing etc..
I'm clean and tidy, I love a glass of red over dinner, I love to cook, I do a lot of yoga so I typically go to bed pretty early, I work full time with regular hours, I love hanging out with people and the odd house movie night - not to mention I make a mean paella!
I'm a science student at UniMelb, but I'm originally from interstate. Looking for places close to uni (ie Parkville, Carlton, Nth Melbourne), with flexible stay lengths. I'm easy-going and always on the lookout for new friends! I do have a fairly packed activities/work schedule, which means I'll often be doing my own thing. However, I'm always down for chill evenings with housemates over dinner/beer/wine! Hobbies include rusty violin playing (while being mindful of others of course), computer games, sports (especially tennis), plus I'm always keen to hang out with (flat)mates. Since I'm relatively new to Melbourne, I'm also keen to explore the city during free times. Shoot me a message if you'll like to have me around as a flatmate!
Hey! I work as an insurance broker full time and study Interior Design on weekends. I live a healthy lifestyle and enjoy all things active from kickboxing to pilates. I have always been clean and tidy (maybe a little too OCD at times). I love exploring Melbourne, meeting new people and making new friends. I'm originally from New Zealand (don't hold that against me), I have no family here so I adopt people into my life as I go :) I'm looking for somewhere to settle and a place to call home.
Hi there, my name is Melanie and I am a 21 year old Danish girl currently living in Melbourne. I work full-time in a coffee shop in the CBD, so I'll be gone during the day time, but I do have weekends off. I'm interested in hanging out and spending time with my flatmates, but at the same time I would respect if you would rather keep to yourself. I love picnics, hikes, going to the beach, and in general being outside. I also love discussing everything or nothing over a glass of wine. Cheers!
Hi there, I'm an international Student studying at the University of Melbourne. Overall I'm pretty relaxed and a bit reserved, but I'm open to anything that comes my way. Standard interests include typical ones such as gaming, music, movies, and dank memes.
Hello all! I am a 32 year old female who just came back to Melbourne to get my second degree. I work full time and will be busy most of the time, but also enjoy being sociable. My hobbies include dancing, yoga, pilates, and going on adventures..I also love to experience new things!
I'm a traveller from The Netherlands working in Melbourne for the next couple of months. I'm open-minded, sociable and love music: I play guitar, piano, write my own stuff and know heaps about music. Also useful is that I can cook 🍳 (more than just an egg). I'm 18 years old, and you might think that that's quite young, but I'? wise beyond my years ;) and get along well with the 20/30 range.
I'm a professional graphic designer from Taiwan, planing study project management in Melbourne for one year. Looking for a room for stay. I'm tidy, friendly, easygoing. Like sunbathing, Rick and Morty, yoga, Jazz and HipHop music. Super chill person.
Hiya, I'm a 22year old English girl here on a working holiday visa. Currently looking for a sublet or room to rent for the next 4-6 weeks. I'm working fulltime in a restaurant in Fitzroy so anywhere in the nearby suburbs would be ideal! I love to travel and meet new people. Currently saving for my next adventure but the rent at my hostel is sky high so am looking to move out asap! I'm easy to get on with and can respect peoples personal space. Would love to live with some like minded people who are keen for socialising and the odd night out etc!
Hey guys, I'm Jack, 22 from Queensland and moved here at the start of 2016. I love to sing and play the piano, and will be studying music at Monash Uni this year. I work as a barman/Barista...social and creative person. :)
Hi! Full time student from Argentina, doing a master of engineering at unimelb. You won't have to worry about keeping the place clean and tidy. I suck at playing musical instruments, so I wont make loud noises either. I'm happy to answer any other questions you may have.
Canadian moving to Melbourne for a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Looking for a space to call home. Flatmates who are either graduate students or young professionals ideally. My program is demanding so weeknights will be quiet with visits to the gym, but weekends I'll need stress relief via exploring the city and alcohol. I lived in a shared house during undergrad and know for a comfortable living environment everyone needs to lend a hand. I like clean spaces, but am not an OCD clean freak! I'm tidy, conscientious, and easy going. Hoping to find a living space thats a home; not just a house :-)
Hi future house mate, I’m Damien. I’ve spent my whole life living and working in regional areas of Australia so now it's time to head to the big city for a while. Key Facts - Originally from Coffs Harbour. - Almost 27 - Aspiring Frenchman - Accountant (don’t hold it against me) - Coffee - Sport and fitness I'm a fun and relaxed guy with experience living in share houses with both guys and girls. I'd prefer a social household where I can have a chat, share a meal and head out for a drink or gig (or both) every so often. Having said that I am independent and can entertain myself. When it comes to shared responsibilities I always pull my weight and I prefer a tidy house. I understand that everyone has their own lives and socials commitments and I am respectful of that. Cheers
Hi there, I’m Jess, a mid-twenties woman seeking a new abode to call home for a year, getting back into the health industry professionally after travelling a bit in 2016. I love a good laugh, having great conversations with others about experiences, philosophy, science, systems and nature. I like getting current with my housemates world and am a low maintenance kind of person, humble, clean and respectful of people’s belongings and personal time as well. I like to practice yoga and dancing, am into art platforms such as dancing, documentaries, paintings, sculptures, colour, nature, journalism publications, film and food. Heavy metal music is not my cup of joy personally, but like all other music genre. I am looking to move into a nice private room (whether existing or starting up a share-house) in the inner North suburbs by early Feb. Max budget $180 per week including bills, or some bills. A place that has space to move around in, some greenery, friendly people to co-habitat with that are independent, enjoy establishing good connections with those they interact with, and are considerate of others time, habits and ideas will be suitable. I am open to teaming up with like-minded folks interested in establishing a chill, easy- going environment to live in as well, so message me if you’re searching for a new place also with the suburbs I’ve tagged, and think we’d make a good fit. [I’ve minimal furniture to offer (only bedroom furniture, crockery, a blender and a table) but willing to resourcefully set up a house with others for the things we each require] A bathroom with a separate toilet will be a bonus, including a gas cooker, and a green patch nearby the property, or within it. I also do not have a car, so looking for a place close to PT, 15 minute walk max to a train station. I've share housing experience also and always proactive with paying rent and shared bills on time, and will continue at the next place I move to. Thank you for taking the time to read my description. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting good vibe people, Jess

Also need a place with car space or a road where I can park.

Enjoys Netflix and a glass of wine. Monique also has a 1 year old cat named Loki.
Hey! I'm Sam and I'm a contemporary dance artist from Adelaide. Ive just moved to Melbourne to study at the Victorian College of the Arts for a few years. I'll be 24 in feb and have a lot of experience living in share houses. I'm looking for a home full of good vibes/positive energy. I'm an outgoing, sociable guy who enjoys quality time with quality people. I like going out to shows, gigs and other events, into everything arty. Overall I'm pretty active and like to keep moving. Having said all this, training full time is intense and I keep things low key during the week. If I sound like the right match, throw me a message :)
I am a friendly, easy-going guy who's looking for like-minded housemates. I moved from Tasmania to Melbourne about a year ago to continue my career in web development so I'm into computers and programming but also like to play music, art, crafts, Photography and exploring Victoria with friends. I'm bilingual (Japanese) and love learning about other cultures and countries. I'm quite clean and respectful of space. I like a few drinks at the end of a week but am not a party-er.
Hello! After plans to move in with a friend fell through, I am on the search for a beautiful place to call home! I used to study Law at Monash, but dropped out because I decided the 9-5 grind just ain't for me. So now I'm working that hospo grind instead, saving all my pennies, travelling as much as I can and trying to figure out what kind of life I want to build for myself. Ideally I'd love to find a home full of like minded people that are driven and passionate about things important to them. I don't care what your interests are, but I just think it's important to be around people who are passionate and care about something in this world, as I think I'm getting too old for losing myself in Netflix series and meme wars with friends. I'm typically pretty adventurous and would always prefer a day out exploring somewhere beautiful to a day spent on the couch. I'm LGBTQI+ friendly, I hate Trump (who doesn't tho tbh) and generally try to do my bit to make the world a nicer place. I'm vegan, and while I would prefer to live with people who share my beliefs on this, I know it's highly unlikely, so I'm happy to live with people who eat meat. However, I hope that you will respect my beliefs and not be mean to me about it, just as I will not make rude comments to you about you eating meat. A lot of vegans can be really rude towards people eating meat - but I'm not one of those :)))) I would ideally like a house that isn't falling apart, but it doesn't have to have been built yesterday. I've lived in sharehouses for the past 4 years so I'm well house trained, on the cleaner side and would prefer to live in a house of about 3-4 people max. I have all my bedroom furniture and happy to chip in for furniture or appliances if need be. :) Photos and bio probs are a bit scrappy, so happy to come around for a chat and cuppa to figure out if we mesh :) NB: Yaaaaas I am open to creating a house with other lone riders! Happy to live with couples (makes for cheaper rent haha) and don't care too much about location, as long as it's pretty close to the city and PT. Also no party houses pls! Been there done that. :)
Hello hello :-) I'm a friendly, tidy 29yo looking for a place to stay short-term in Melbourne. I've just come back from 7 months backpacking through South America, now I'm going back to the corporate life for a bit to save up for my next trip. I've got a 6-8 week contract at the Dept Health in Melbourne, which could turn into a longer-term thing or could not, so I'm looking for somewhere that will accept me for just two months to start. I cook and I clean (you should try my lemon chicken and baked feta), I love to talk and I'd much prefer a glass of wine over a game of scrabble than a party every weekend. I love to talk travel, current events, and food, and I love cycling. I'll be working a pretty standard 9-5 and I'm happy to hang out or do my own thing as the house goes. I'm deathly allergic to prawns so if they're on your menu every day that's not going to work for me, but other than that I'm open to any food preferences you've got, and any life styles. Gay and trans friendly, happy to live with kids if you've got them. Ideally I'd love a furnished place. I've got nearly all the things but would prefer not to have to transport them down from my Mum and Dad's in NSW. Happy to contribute any car-sized bits of furniture needed (TV, Wii, kitchenware, things...). I also need parking, though I'm fine with legal on-street parking. My job starts on Jan 30 (just confirmed!) so I'm hoping to move next week, or early the week after - I'll be staying with my sister in Brunswick East until then, but TBH I'm not so keen on sleeping on the floor for longer than I have to! Let me know if you'd like to chat - excited to meet you and start the next part of my adventure! Martina :-)
