Easy going, social, but I've got quite a bit on so the relaxed kind of social. My books, my plants and myself are looking for place to share with fun, open-minded, respectful people who are used to share space. I'm studying and teaching french for a living. French is my native language and even though I've been in Australia for ages my choice of words appears to be a fairly good source of entertainment.
I am from India, I will be studying Master of Management (Project Management) in La Trobe University City Campus. Along with me there are two more friends who will be arriving (or moving) on the same day. I am extrovert and open-minded, The same implies to other two.I am a non-smoker and non-drinker ( not even occasional), I don't mind smoking or drinking unless I'm insisted so please take a note of it. Also I'm quite possessive relating to my religious aspects but not extreme (like eating non-halal food, drinking and others). I respect privacy and never do something that will embarrass or disappoint my fellow roommates. Apart from this I like to go out, play games (indoor or outdoor), gym, cooking, reading, helping the fellow roommates the best from my side, being clean and hygienic, taking care of myself and little OCD to few things :P. We don't mind sharing room with people from any background. If you are from India or Muslim, we would love to be with you. So either way I will be fine. If you have pets like cats or dogs, that will also not be a problem ( we are cat-lovers :P but wouldn't mind a dog. ) Also, If there is any accommodation like Paying Guest (PG) in the city or suburbs I will also consider that. :) P.S : Once again, we are great to live with.

Hey guys! A bit about me. I’m a messy, inconsiderate jerk who hates fun yet for some reason is constantly bringing the party home. Kidding! My name is Tom, I’m 19 from London, and was recently moved to Melbourne by my company. My hobbies include going gym, football or soccer as you call it, rugby, IT software & hardware, binge watching tv shows and recently have found that coffee is amazing. I am a tidy person, however if there is ever a small mess it is kept to my own room. I enjoy a drink or two on the weekends, a good chat, but also enjoy a bit of me time. Send me a message if you want to know anything else about me!

Originally from regional NSW, I've moved to Melbourne for University and now full time work. Easy going, clean, friendly young person looking to stay in inner suburbs of Melbourne. Happy to join house social activities or keep to my own thing if the house prefers.
Hi, I'm looking for a house with a happy vibe. I'm 31, originally from Byron and working full time as a social media manager. I love photography and design, travelling (scuba diving when possible) and being out with friends. I'm really considerate and respectful. I'm a social person and would like a balance of doing my own thing but also living with people I could consider friends.
Hello, I'm a non-smoking Londoner who is initially in Australia for 6 months but have fallen in love with Melbourne! Because of this I'm looking for a home for 3 months but thinking about extending my stay longer term. I'm qualified as a primary school teacher and have applied for registration, although this will take some time to come through. I am a friendly, tidy and conscientious person who respects the space and privacy of others but at the same time enjoys hanging out or going for a drink. Interests include football (Or soccer as I've been told it's referred to over here...), cricket, classical music and dry humour comedies. Thanks for reading, Jamie.
I am a Canadian girl from Vancouver returning to Melbourne because I loved it so much I came back for 2 years. I am studying my Master's of Physiotherapy at La Trobe. I am pretty outdoorsy (aka I used to guide kayaking), love to cook, dance and love to have dinners or casual drinks together. I am respectful and responsible.
I'm 28 and work fulltime as a Doctor. I've just returned from living and working in London for the last two years and now need somewhere to stay! Ideally I'd like a furnished room (with ensuite if possible) and a place with a possibility that my partner could also move in when he joins me here in a few months time. We are both friendly, tidy and considerate people, and enjoy a good chat over a glass of wine :-)
I am a tertiary educated professional looking for a friendly, calm and mature-aged share house. My interests include computers, music, world news and a healthy lifestyle. I value privacy and respect the rights of others.
Hey there! I'll be moving to Melbourne for Uni soon and am keen to find some housemates and a nice place, preferably with a private bathroom. I'm going to be studying Medical Radiation - Nuclear Medicine at RMIT Bundoora. I won't have a car so somewhere close to Uni or not too long by public transport, would be convenient. I'm very friendly, tidy, happy to share chores, love to socialise and up for a chat but sometimes prefer my own space. Up for drinks once in a while and I'm a non-smoker so I'd like to stay in a similar environment. Movies, TV shows and Music are life!! (we'll always have something to talk about :p) I'm currently unemployed but I'll be looking for part-time jobs as soon as I move. Move date hasn't been finalised yet as I am still discussing everything with my parents, but it's most likely start/mid Feb. Cheers :)
Originally from Byron, I've lived in Melbourne for 3 years. Currently working as a bartender in the CBD. I'm a huge nerd, love board games and medieval history. Also really handy, love building furniture and sets for theatre, I'm also currently refurbishing a small sailboat. Relaxed around the house, like my own space but I'm always down for communal house dinners and board game nights, which I supplement with cocktails ;) Also not afraid of hard work, I'm currently living in a garage I renovated (need to get out before it gets too cold in winter!) so if there are any big jobs that need doing I'm your guy!
Hi everyone, This is Ali. I teach International Business at RMIT University and also do research. I do exercise regularly, it's been a while I do yoga, Tai Chi, walking and also swimming. I do like cooking and prefer to cook at home and would be happy to share a weekly meal with my future housemates. I prefer to live with people who care about keeping the place clean and I'm happpy to do so. I'm not only looking for a bedroom but also for people who like to communicate in their free time. Please contact me if you think we can get along.

I’m an easy-going 25-year-old female, working full-time as a paramedic. I work a roster of 4 days on followed by 4 days off, which means sometimes coming home between midnight and 3am, but I can assure you I’ve become very good at sneaking around so I don’t wake anyone! I keep pretty busy socializing with friends, hitting the gym, and going out for brunch/dinner. When at home, I keep a clean and tidy space, and enjoy cooking healthy meals, sleeping (love a good nap), binge-watching Netflix, and sharing stories over a bottle of wine. I am looking to move further in towards the city to take advantage of the city lifestyle.
Hi my name is Frances, I'm from Canberra moving to Melbourne to study product design at Swinburne uni. Hi! I am a happy, easy going, female professional (EA) looking for a room. Mon-Fri 9-5 type! Very clean and tidy, more or less an early riser, into fitness and artistic things. I sing and used to do gigs, bit of theatre too both of which I hope to get back into! Flying over from Perth, already have a job lined up so hoping to find somewhere to stay before I start on the 13th of Feb. I've done this all before(share houses) and are very respectful about paying rent and bills on time. I don't drink much during the week but do love dinners and a wine, I'm chatty but respect flatmates personal spaces and quiet times too. I wont eat your food or keep you up all night :) I have a cat Roger, he is a pure bred ragdoll that I would like to eventually come over. He is lazy, just sleeps and will keep to my room or outside but also has a great personality. I own a surfboard and skateboard plus a tent and a couple little things I'd hope to stick in a corner somewhere if possible? Shed maybe? I don't have a car so need to be close-ish to public transport (Work in Richmond) and may get a bike down the line. Unfurnished or semi furnished is fine, I'm bringing over my queen mattress (cause its sooo good) so that's all I really would want of my own. Looking for 6-12months maybe more but obviously see how logistics and personalities all fit :)
I am 25 year old female and have just completed studying nursing and paramedics in Ballarat. I am relocating to Melbourne for a new job, so am looking for somewhere to live long term. I am a clean, respectful and easy going person. I am social, but also mindful of people’s space and privacy. I have an established network in Melbourne but am also looking forward to meeting new people. I am always up for shared dinner and drinking wines/beer/gin together. I love a good gig, card game, good shower pressure and sunshine. I am outdoorsy and active, but no exercise fanatic. I try to ride where I can, but also have a car.
Hey y'all! I'm Brittany from Texas! I'm friendly and love meeting people, but I'm not really a partier. I'm 30 years old and am clean and considerate. I'll be in Melbourne until early December (coming back mid-January) and will work while I'm in town. I have a blog about travel and dessert-- so I love going on adventures and checking out all the new spots for freakshakes and doughnuts. :)
Hey! My name is Brittany and i am a third year undergrad at the university of melbourne studying media and coms. I work part time retail for cotton on group whilst studying, and my spare time is spent hanging out with friends, eating good food and having a Bev or two (ten). Pretty happy to do my own thing most of the time but always up for a chat, and hopefully become great friends with my future roomie to make our place a home. i am honestly one of the most chilled out people you can live with, but very organized and on top of things. Ideally looking for another chick around the same age to join up and sign onto a lease for a modern-ish two bedroom apartment, preferably with a balcony. Max 210 each per week. Early feb. If this sounds good to you, hit me up!
Hey there, I am a 23 years old Chinese girl, easy-going, tidy and respectful. I like doing exercises and sharing things with people. I am a student now and still have 2 semesters to finish. Hope I can get well with you. I don't know what info will be attracting, if you are interested we can talk it in more details.^^ By the way, I study in Melbourne University so I prefer to live around school or city as long as it's won't take up to 40 mins to get to school.
Hi There! I'm Jess, an American expat from Austin, TX living in Melbourne for the last four months on a work & holiday visa. I am an independent contractor in the entertainment & events industry. I've just started a contract with Cirque du Soleil & will be with them for the next 2.5 months. I also pet / house sit so sometimes I'm gone for several days at a time. I am a music junkie so I always have my speaker going but will keep the volume down if you don't want to jam out with me. In my free time I like to enjoy the great outdoors, go to concerts, grab beers with friends, try new restaurants & spend a stupid amount of money on food from QVM. At home I love to cook, open a bottle of vino & Netflix it up. I do thoroughly enjoy my alone time but love to socialize as well so I can gel with whatever you like. Currently seeking a flat north of the river for a two month commitment to start with the ability to extend that if applicable. I will know by late Feb / early March as to whether I will be staying in Melbourne longer. I don't have much stuff with me since my exact time here is still TBD but I do have some kitchen appliances, an HDMI cord & a full bedroom set for myself which I can sell if furnishings are not flexible. I've also got an HBOGO account for communal use. Look forward to chatting with you about your place! :)
Hello! :) My name is Avleen and I'm a 29 year-old female originally from Sydney. I'll be studying at Monash this year and am looking for an affordable place to rent in Melbourne. Ideally I'd like to be close to Clayton but am flexible as long as it's roughly within my price range. I'm friendly, easygoing and clean. I love having a good chat now and then over a tea or beer, and also enjoy time to myself. Thanks in advance and hoping to find somewhere great on here :) xo
I'm 29 years old, work full time as a nurse, so will be working shift work and sleep is important to me haha. I will occasionally be working nightshifts, so will need a sleep during the day(although I hate doing them, so won't be often). I would describe myself as a laid back, kind, and considerate person. I have moved over here on my own, so try and get out and about as much as I can. I love meeting new people and travelling to new places! I enjoy cooking, going out for dinner, keeping fit, meeting my friends. I also like to have a clean house, esp the kitchen and bathroom. As I am over here on my own, I would like someone that I can get along with and enjoy living with. Look forward to hearing from you. I would also be up for taking out a new lease with someone in a similar situation as myself! I would prefer to live with one other person and not a couple.
Hey funky souls! My friend James and I are both students, originally from South Gippsland, looking for accommodation around the areas listed. We love having gaming tournaments (esp. N64 oml), board game nights, feasts and petting any doggo or floofer that lives. 🐈🐕 I am super passionate about the N64, environment, the N64, food, exercise, veganism (but no hate towards people who aren't it's all g), and the N64. So if you can mentally prepare your stomach for some cooked up 10/10 meals and perhaps some 007 or Mario Kart tournaments that'd be ace. James is an all-round top bloke who loves his baseball and doesn't mind downing a beer or two. He's also into his gaming, dank memes and telling you everything he did wrong last year. We are looking for at least 2 bedrooms to rent out (but we are open to going our own ways if we find a mint place), and our max budget each being $180 including bills (poor student life 😅) so I hope one of you lovely souls out there has a place available! We are very respective, clean, and tidy people who would love to live together with maybe a few others whilst we complete our degrees :) Don't hesitate to contact us! Thank you for reading and we look forward to reading your messages! Cheers guys xx P.S we're not a couple, just life-long friendios.
Hi, I'm Mark. I grew up in a little town called Olinda on the top of Mount Dandenong in Victoria. I've been studying a Philosophy and Politics Major at La Trobe for the past few years and am taking a year off to have a break and get some savings. I'm currently working as a barista/all rounder at Min Lokal cafe in Fitzroy. I'm tidy, respectful, and considerate of other peoples space and things. I enjoy a wine/beer and a chat, am easy going, and friendly. I like to hang out with friends, I like to read all kinds of books, and I like to go out to a bar or two and have some fun.
Hello, I'm a very friendly and tidy second year Arts student at the University of Melbourne, originally from Sydney. I'm looking for somewhere to live until mid/end of June this year, and would love a quiet place that's within walking distance to uni. I also work and volunteer as a tutor so will be out and about quite often, but happy to have a chat if we're in at the same time.
I am a hard working 18 year old Australian, I like spaces being clean, love to be social though would respect your space, I do have an outgoing personality and would be love to find a place to call home! At the moment I will be shortly commencing my studies at RMIT (Bachelor of Business - Financial Planning) at the city campus, I will be also working part time at Woolworths, though I also have a couple of business projects that I work on in my spare time. I'm from Bendigo and I'm excited to be moving somewhere closer to the city! For fun I like to go on spontaneous day trips to do something different, hang out with my friends & occasionally enjoy a good read! I would prefer to stay in a place where we aren't complete strangers, but would be willing to respect your space.
Hi! My name is Mia, I'm 24 years old, looking to move out of home for the first time. I am tidy, friendly and respectful. I don't party hard, but I am sociable and always happy for a chat or a glass of wine. I'm studying psychology and a cert IV in Mental Health, I volunteer at a telephone crisis line for women, and I work 4-5 shifts a week at a part-time hospitality job. When I'm not working I love to write, read, watch movies, visit museums/art galleries, and hiking/going to the beach. I also love to travel, if only I had more money for it! :'( If you are LGBT+ friendly, smoke-free, and looking for a female housemate in the areas of Hawthorn, Toorak, South Yarra, Richmond etc., then I would love to get to know you!
I'm Mari from Finland, recently moved to Melbourne. I'm a hostess/promoter/model, and have a degree in fashion design. I'm easy-going, out-going, calm and a friendly person.
Hey hey. My name is Jacqui and I am a 20 year old Aussie girl currently studying Photography at RMIT in Melbourne. I am friendly, neat, clean, organised, fun-loving and all round good company. Looking for a place to live near Melbourne from the end of February to around June. As mentioned I am a clean and neat person, I don't like leaving a mess around the house so you can count on me to finish the dishes!
Canadian moving to Melbourne for a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Looking for a space to call home. Flatmates who are either graduate students or young professionals ideally. My program is demanding so weeknights will be quiet with visits to the gym, but weekends I'll need stress relief via exploring the city and alcohol. I lived in a shared house during undergrad and know for a comfortable living environment everyone needs to lend a hand. I like clean spaces, but am not an OCD clean freak! I'm tidy, conscientious, and easy going. Hoping to find a living space thats a home; not just a house :-)
Hi my name is Melinda or (Mel) Big move back from living in London for the past 12 years and resettling in the northern areas of Melbourne. I'm starting a brand new job within the healthcare industry in mid February and looking for a room in a house share with a like minded person or people! I'm pretty easy to live with having shared in London (and previously in Melbourne) so know how to be courteous responsible and respectful to those that share the home. I like to balance professional career with my other passions cooking, music, walking, photography and yoga. I love animals. I adore spending time with my family and friends and going out to explore my surrounds and what this great city has to offer. I'm looking for a friendly abode to call 'home' for a while to re calibrate into Melbourne life.
I am 29 years old, from Argentina and recently finished my Master's in International Relations degree at MelbUni. I am quite chill but like to enjoy a beer and go out on the weekends. I like sports (basketball, soccer, golf) but mostly play squash once or twice a week. I don't smoke but wouldn't mind living with someone who does. Quite clean and tidy and would love to live with someone similar.
Moving down from Sydney. Great cook, tidy but not OCD, work full time in hospo so similar peeps preferred, non smoker, looking for some chilled human beings to live with that like to share a wine or two but also respect each others space. I study commercial interior design part time, it's more my passion so a lot of pride goes into the space around me. Very close to finishing my degree and always up for a giggle.
Hello! I am a 27 year old gal who loves to go bicycle touring and read or chat over a nice beer =) I am extremely tidy and currently live in Preston and love it but my lease is ending soon! Jon - 26, Spatial analyst / Research assistant, very capable cyclist (previously competitive but chose a career/social life over becoming a professional cyclist) and handy cards player. Easy going, loves a bit of banter and well domesticated through forced child labour (mum's reason for having kids). Appreciates having pot plants / flowers / a garden wherever he lives. Trikk - 25, avid photographer / animal lover (grew up on a dairy farm) and currently working for the Australian Wheat Board in South Bank. Very friendly and loves a good chat. As a couple, we're not ones to lock ourselves inside of our room never to be seen and looking for a house where everyone gets along/friendly rather than a case of contractual co-habitation. We're clean and highly respectful and considerate of all others and sure we can make a positive contribution to the house whilst maintaining a pleasant status-quo. We're looking for a place to stay with where we can sign a minimum 6 month lease and relatively flexible as to the date we move in. Thus, we can work on a timeline suitable to your place.
Hi, we are a couple looking for a room somewhere in or around Melbourne with great connections to the city (preferably close to trains) since we are both studying and working in and around the city. We would prefer to not pay more than 300 per week for both of us, but can be discussed. There is Frida who is 21 years old from Sweden, and Russell who is 22 from outside of Melbourne. We are a friendly and social couple who would love to be friends and hang out with the people we live with but at the same time have respect for our privacy since we will have a lot of studying to do. Other than that, we are two normal students who likes to have fun and hang out, go out once in a while and not just sit at home. If we sound like the people for you, then we'd love to hear from you! :)))
I'm easygoing and a happy flatmate! I am currently living in Northcote but looking to move asap. I work FT in the CBD as a restaurant mgr so my hours are long for a couple of days a week and shorter the others. I have some hobbies of dance salsa, yoga and seeing bands, photography and I have a green thumb so would love to help out in the garden. I am 36 so well house trained and definitely tick all your boxes of responsible 😊 Love making a house a home and enjoying good flatmates company when we're all around having a wine and some good food 😊 but do generally enjoy some quiet time and just chill when I'm at home. Give me a text or call and maybe I can come and visit tomorrow or this weekend I am looking to move asap as I am away next Wednesday for two weeks for work. I also have a small friendly, happy pooch, her name is Maizie she is a shitzu x schnauzer but a runt so very small and does get along with cats and loves people!
Hey guys, My name is Paulina. I'm 24 years old Polish, arrived to Melbourne 2 months ago. As my sublet is coming to an end with the end Of January I'm looking for another place to stay. What I'm seeking to is a private room in an existing sharehouse or creating a new one. My budget is max 180$ pw, but I can spend more if the place is really tempting. As I live in Thornbury, it would be awesome to stay in the area but the line Northcote, Brunswick East, Collingwood, Carlton, Richmond, Fitzroy are very welcome as well. I'd preferably share a space with people close to my age. I completed studies in Economics, here I'm working in hospitality. I'm super easy going, sociable, respectful of others space and I'd love to land in a positive household with more or less like minded people. I'm often out if not working but always keen to share a meal or grab a beer if such opportunity shows up. If it seems like we might get along well feel free to message me to go to further details and possibly set a meeting. :) Thanks!
Hey! We're currently in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa and we'd like to settle in Melbourne for 6-10 months whilst we work. We're looking for a room with a double bed and enough space for the two of us. We're both recent uni graduates (well we graduated 2 years ago but we can still say recent can't we?!) who have been working in support work and events whilst we saved for a bit of traveling. We've both lived in shared houses before and understand all of the unwritten rules that go with it. As a few examples, we know how important it is to respect other people's personal space and we're super clean and tidy, taking our fair share in chores (we can't live in mess!). We're social and both like a drink (both in a bar and whilst on the sofa watching Netflix) but do like time to ourselves too. However, we're after flatmates we can really get along with! If you think you'd like to live with us, we'd love to hear from you.
