I have a tortishell cat, violet, who I recently adopted and like me, likes to keep to herself and is no hassle.
Hi! As a couple we’re looking for a room! We met each other during traveling. I’m (Tess) Dutch and Callum is English. We’re both looking for a job in Melbourne (hospitality/retail). I love food and like to spend some hours in the kitchen. Callum is a musician. He plays guitar, sings and writes his own music. We’re both very easy going and interested in Melbourne’s music scene. We like to go to gigs, drink some beers or have an easy night at home and watch a movie or play cards. We’re friendly, flexible, chatty, tidy, cozy and like to do things together with our flatmates!

I am a postgraduate Biomedical Sciences student from The Netherlands. From February on, I am going to do my research internship into Dementia in The Royal Melbourne Hospital for 6 months. During my internship I am looking for a shared home. I like being surrounded by other people to eat (I like to cook =)), sport, watch Netflix or explore the Australian culture and country together. However, I also appreciate quietness and peacefulness. Sharing living room, bathroom and kitchen is no problem.
A first-year Graduate student. Studying mechatronics at the University of Melbourne. I'm easy to get along with. I love sports football (soccer) precisely. Everything will be ok as long we keep the common areas we'll be sharing clean and tidy. A long-term stay is the goal!!
I am a student at Latrobe, living in Melborne since last year. I'm from Bahrain, and I have travelled around. I have lived four years in the US. People say that I am easy going, quiet and friendly and i believe them :). I mostly love long walks on the Beach and go to the gym. Feel free to ask any questions. Mo
Pleasure to meet you, future roomie! I'm a former materials engineer from the USA and current ESL teacher on a 1-year work visa in Oz. I love travel, fitness, language, learning new things, and meeting new people. Ideally, looking for a houseshare with 3-4 outgoing folks who aren't afraid to make plans and help me stay busy. Indie music, cheesy humor, cheesy cooking, occasional house parties, and eccentrics are a big plus. Cigarettes and cats are a big minus (due to allergies). My budget caps out around $250 (although less is always welcome), and I'm hoping wherever I stay is near enough to bike to the CBD...so Inner East, Inner North, Inner West, and St. Kilda areas are all on the table (in rough order of preference). I'm currently in the CBD and hoping to move within the next week. If this all sounds good to you, DM me for a meetup, and I look forward to hearing back from you soon!
I moved to Melbourne 6 months ago from the Gold Coast. I am a qualified Plasterer and work for myself. I work most days and some weekends. I play guitar and like to surf, although now i'm living a bit further inland I spend most of my time exploring the music scene and whatever is happening around town. I do like to get away and camp or even day trips hiking. When the weather warms up i will probably be doing alot more weekend getaways down the coast. I like to be social but do like personal space too.
My name is Charly, I am 27 and from the south of England. I have been on an extended holiday in South East Asia before coming to Melbourne to work and live for a while. I would not class myself as a backpacker and I am hoping to stay in Melbourne for longer. I will be working full time and I am looking for a room to rent. I am easy going, socialable, friendly as well as clean and tidy! I enjoy health and fitness, food, days out, running, fashion and socialising.
I'm an independent but sociable guy. Big sense of humour but very respectful of others' space. I've lived in a shared space for 35 years. Prefer quiet but sociable company. I'm comfortable with most people. Must be non-smokers. I'm cool with younger company. I'm a creative. Singer, composer/musician. Like to share with fellow creatives.
Down to earth Scottish guy moved here recently from Brazil. Social science researcher working on urban violence issues in Latin America, and also a communications consultant. Excellent flatmate and great with the pots n' pans and duster. Malbec makes me happy.
I am fairly quiet and respectful. I like to cook and keep to myself. I am also extremely sociable and humourous. I own a large bluray collection too if people are movie buffs like me. Looking for a house that’s affordable and has like minded people like me that respectful and fun while being professional. I also study the advanced diploma of Screen and Media at Swinburne University and will be continuing studying at William Angliss Institute in 2019.
I'm Patricia, 27 music lover from Spain who is looking for a long term place. About me... I'm a hospitality worker and ramedial massage student. I've been living in Melbourne since October 2017 with student visa. I consider myself a pretty chilled out person, very respectful, easy going, tidy and responsible with the payments. Open minded and idealist, I'm always up to learn something new. Netlix. Vegetarian. Books. Travel. A bit geek. It would be great to find compatible people to live and spend some house time with.
Hi, I'm Chris, I am a 31 year old, Primary School Teacherin Brunswick. I am looking for a short to mid-term place to share with friendly, easy-going and considerate people. I am quiet, clean, thoughtful and know how to share a house/space. I am able to keep myself busy but also like to socialise with my housemates over a drink or a shared meal. I enjoy netflixing, camping, riding, running, good coffee, cooking and of course eating. I do have a (small) dog who doesn't live me at the moment but would love for her be able to visit (but only if it is possible). I am thoughtful, kind and pretty easy going. Always up for a laugh and although I can come across a little on the quiet side, I like to socialise and enjoy a drink with friends.
Hi! I’m Mandy, age 29. I have lived on my own for the past 4 years, but want to get closer to Melbourne CBD, so happy to go back to share housing🤭. Like to have my own space, but am friendly. Looking for respectful, easy going flat mates to share with. I’d love a carspace 🚘 and my own ensuite.
i am a friendly person who likes to have a chat but also respects personal space which is a good mixture to have within a housemate. i like to keep tidy after myself usually spend a lot of time listening to music, exercising, studying or socializing out of the house usually don't really bring many people over. i have lived in melbourne my whole life in quite a few share houses as an adult (about 5 in over 10 years) i have a lot of furniture but also have access to a storage unit if there will be an issue with placing my stuff (fridge, dinner table, couch, bed room stuff etc)
Heylo, My name is Kevin, I'm from India. Recently moved to Melbourne, studying Audio Engineering at the JMC Academy which is at the South banks. I'd love to move into a place which makes me feel at home. I keep clean and tidy at all times and so clean up after myself. I respect the privacy of others and expect the same. I'd love to share a meal with my flatmates, if you're up for some Indian food. When I'm not studying I'd love to catch up over a few drinks and hangout. Not way too much of a party person but would love to chill over the weekends. I love pets and nature. Once I move into a home, I'd be getting engaged in a part time job. That's pretty much me! looking forward to sharing a house. Thank you, Kevin
Hi, I'm Theo, female, queer, and 34. I have been a social/environmental activist all my life, but am pretty anti-activist culture these days (specifically I'm not judgemental and am looking for non-judgemental folks to live with). I'm starting a political blog from a radical centrist angle, and work mostly from home. I don't have an income at the moment, but have substantial savings, so no need to worry about me paying the rent. I'm into hanging out with friends, working out, going out dancing, playing table tennis, personal development, serious and light hearted chats, netflixing, keen to get into skateboarding and parkour soon. I'm looking for a place that's relaxed, friendly, clean, non-communal (although I'd be into sharing meals occasionally if it feels right), meat friendly...
Young professional working full time in the CBD. Enjoy gardening, reading, good chats and unwinding with a glass of wine at the end of the day. I like a balance between social and personal time, respect others' space and clean up after myself. I bring house plants and an awesome doggo to the mix!
