Hey everyone, I’m looking to team up with one or two people to establish a new house with (open to to existing places too). :) I don't really mind who you are or what things you like doing, the only traits i'm really looking for are people who are laidback, open-minded and considerate of personal boundaries like privacy and comfort zones- if we get along well, nothing else is a concern for me. I'd like to establish a cosy home atmosphere where everyone can feel genuinely "at home" and not just staying somewhere, and where there's no constant pressure to socialize but the opportunity is always there- it'd be great to live with people who can give you space but also have a good chat with. I love doing things that involve film, TV/Netflix, games and outings such as live music events- and especially love it when there's other people to do it with, so flatmates who'd like to do those things are a bonus. I'm also open to lots of other stuff- if you want to drag me over to an art gallery, help you make miracles in the kitchen (can't promise i'm great with that) or head to a basketball court- i'm also willing to do that if you convince me. :') I don't care if you're alternative, sporty, artsy, introvert or extrovert, it's all totally fine- anyone that's kind and open-minded is good in my books. :) If you think we might get along, send me a message so we can chat- and possibly make plans if we do get along well. :) (Oh, if you're worried about my age and capacity for living independently- i've already adjusted to adult life so i'm fine in that regard. Suburbs/move date are flexible.)
Needing to commute between Sydney and Melbourne. Looking for something close to transport and including bills would be great. I come with nice furniture, fridge if needed unlimited wifi, easygoing and respectful, studying postgrad. Don't mind pets but I don't have any and I'm good if you have children there, I will have my almost grown up daughter occasionally in Sydney, i don't smoke but don't mind if you do.
Hi, I'm Hansine, 21 years, I'm a Human Rights Law Student on exchange in Melbourne so I have a pretty flexible schedule. During the week, uni will be my top-priority, but socialising, trying new things and getting lost in a good book are also up there. I'd love to share a glass of wine or the like and a chat with a potential roommate(s) every now and then, but private space is equally important. Staying healthy and active is important to me, but I'm not preachy!
Hey, I'm originally from WA, have been settled in Melbourne for several years and now looking for a new place to call home. Tidy, easygoing, respectful of others' space and privacy, enjoy a good chat. Currently working part time, soon to begin study also. Get in touch if you have a room on offer or would like to team and find a place ヽ(*・ω・)ﾉ
I've house shared for the better part of ten years so I feel this has left me with a pretty keen awareness of the general do's and dont's of sharing protocol. I hold a permanent job and am always reliable with rent, very respectful of common areas and really like to make a place feel like a home (... the occasional meal, drink, chat together, that type of thing). I'd describe myself as warm, with a dark, self-deprecating sense of humour, an extroverted introvert insofar as being quite outgoing and social, but also needing quite a bit of downtime to retreat and decompress. Food-wise, I generally fend for myself most days but love to cook for the house when the occasion calls ... I cook 100% vego but that's largely because I-just-fucking-love-vegetables / have sub-optimal meat cooking abilities. I work for the public service in multicultural affairs, though I'm just about to drop to 3 days a week to start studying my first undergrad degree at Melbourne Uni. I am very food orientated, enjoy cooking, and eating my way through Melbourne's cafes and restaurants, and I've also been learning how to swing dance for the last year. I've also recently jumped onto the podcast bandwagon (S Town, This American Life, Radiolab, et al ... ) Finally, I also have a cat named Brian: a devastatingly handsome, affable tabby. He will enthusiastically headbutt you to indicate affection. He lives outdoors by day and on my bed of an evening ... may or may not have a few memes made in his honour (provided upon request).
Hey future housemate, it's me, Nicolas. I am 23 years old and I study Chemical Engineering in Germany but now I am finally here - in lovely Melbourne - ready for my exchange semester at Unimelb and my internship afterwards. I grew up in Colombia but my parents are German-Colombians, so culturally speaking I am sort of a mix of both countries. I have lived for 5 years in Germany in a shared flat, so I know how it works and I know what it means respecting others personal space and sharing the house duties. As to me, I am absolutely into having great conversations and doing some sport (and of course dancing Latin American Music ;) )or just hang out a little bit and chill. And if you would like to practice your Spanish or German, let's go.
I'm a fun loving student with a job looking for a home away from home after a series of disaster households I'm easy to live with, clean and respectful most importantly fun I'm happy to extend contracts if they work out! Let me know if I seem like your kind of Gal Steph ^_^
Hey, you can call me Toni, it is easier :), I am an international student at the Swinburne University and I am looking for people to team up for a shared accomondation. It is my first time in Australia and I am excited for the stay :) i like jogging and going to the gym. I also like horror movies and reading thriller :) I will arrive in Melbourne at the 20th July and stay until the 30th November. It would be great if we could find something in the near of the Swinburne University, everything in the near of Hawthorn would be great :) So I hope I hear from you, folks :))
I am looking for a private , furnished, decent and modern property preferably en-suited with bathroom and kitchen . I am IT Professional , non-smoker , super clean and have no pet .
Hai! I work full time Monday to Friday 3pm-11pm, and absolutely adore my job. After work I'm at gym until about 4am, then home to sleep. When I'm home I'm tidy, quiet and pretty low key. My personality is bubbly, happy go lucky, but I'm not a party person by any means. I'm looking to find a place asap and would like rent to include either bills or own bathroom. I'd also like the house to be pretty modern. In regards to location.... I'd like to be pretty close to Brunswick or at least near the eastern freeway. Preferably not any further out than Doncaster though. I've lived with guys and girls, so I'm pretty crusiey with who I live with. Just all about good vibes and a positive living space. :) :)
Person to share accommodation with housemate/s in private, friendly green home. Long term. Rent/bills reliable. Chores shared. Peaceful. Quiet street with parking required. Arts student. Arts, Classical music, sailing, hiking, history, literature, philosophy etc...
Hi! I'm Ruby, 24 y/o makeup artist. I am currently looking for a new *cat friendly* place to call home. I have a small, well house trained half indoor/outdoor cat called Luna and we need somewhere to live by 11/08. A bit about me: I work in retail, I enjoy reading and watching Netflix, I am quite a social person but will never bring that home in regards to parties or anything - not looking for a party house either. Really want to find somewhere I can settle down long term. Thanks
A bit about me - my name is Alfonso, I'm 25, I work full time, study part time, and am a non smoker. I like paying my bills on time, I always clean after myself and I am more than happy to do my share of house duties. Looking to find a quiet place that's just mostly a place to chill after a long day at work/uni. Don't mind socialising on the weekends, maybe grab a beer or watch some TV with flatmates.
Heya! I am looking for a room in a fun shared house. Moving in mid - end of August. Looking along the 109/48/11/86 tram lines, primarily, as my work is at Kew junction. I come with little luggage and a huge Bluetooth speaker to brighten up the space. I am a full-time artist and designer. I know where all the coolest bars are in melbs. 😋 Hit me up if you have a room in a shared house (200pw max) or a whole one bedroom apartment for rent (300pw max).😊 Cheers xx
Hi there, I'm Laura, I've just moved to Melbourne from Hobart. I'm a nurse and will be working part time fully rotational shift work. I am neat and tidy to live with, happy for some housemate hangs or to do my own thing. I love to travel and love going to music festivals and gigs. Always keen to check out a new brunch spot. Looking for a room around the Northcote or Clifton Hill area.
A friendly couple from London coming to work at universities in Melbourne for a few months (can provide previous landlord references if needed). Looking for somewhere to stay from October onwards. We're both slight nerds who have PhDs, are vegetarians, and love music, books and dancing. Clean and tidy people looking forward to enjoying the sea, sun (?) and culture of the city.
I've recently transferred to La Trobe from Murdoch uni in WA; studying film and sociology full-time and working hospo when I can. I'm tidy, I enjoy good company/conversation, and I'm pretty laid back and easy going. I lived in the UK for 11 years, and I once won a limbo competition. Good with dogs.

34 years old and work as a freelance photographer and an arts therapist. At the moment, I work from home about 3 days a week (editing and planning) and 2-3 days out on location. I'm into sharing meals, wine, heart to heart chats and all that good stuff to get to know the people I'm living with. I value people and open communication. I would like to live in a multi cultural home, as diversity is the spice of life. I'm interested in permaculture, but yet to gain the skills, willing to put the hours into the garden to get my thumbs green. I'm quirky and creative. I enjoy gatherings and being social and every now and again I'll go off on a silent retreat when I need a little zen time and clarity. I love all kinds of music from around the world. Other loves... nature, dancing (african and latin), yoga (I gotta get back on that bike ;) ), travel, movies, documentaries, food, talks that scratch the surface, acting like a kitty cat and putting on random accents. If I sound like your hommie to be, feel free to contact me :) Also, I'm looking to move at the start of November, but if I find a suitable place sooner, then I can be flexible with dates. I live in the South side but much prefer the creative and diverse flow of the North folk. Marlène (aka Marz)
