Hi! I'm Jess and I'm a 21 year old international studies honours student at Monash University! I'm looking to move into an unfurnished room as I have my own bed. My ideal location would be a bus ride away from Monash Clayton, and close-ish to a train station! I'm originally from Darwin, and I moved to Melbourne to study three years ago. As a roommate, I will provide many laughs, an unhealthy binge watching ability, and a friendly face. I'd like to live with people who are respectful yet fun, as I don't want to end up feeling like the people I'm living with are strangers! Ideally, I'd like to live with students a similar age to my own, because it would make me feel more comfortable. While I would prefer an empty room in a share house, I'm happy to do team ups for the right people! Thanks!
Hey, I'm a few days old in Melbourne planning to study a Masters in Fashion at RMIT, and i'm looking for a wonderful place i could call home. I am 23 years old and originally from Kenya. I am fun, respectable, down to earth and clean so you wouldn't have to worry about me tidying up. I am also trustworthy, calm and open. I am looking for a place i could stay for approximately 6 months, preferably furnished and en suite. I am looking for housemates that i cannot only stay with but those i could call family. Looking forward to hearing from you soon and if you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
Hello! New in the city, new in Australia. My name is Pello, I´m moving there from Spain. I´m architect and graphic designer. Preferably I want a room for March. But if the location is good for my office, i can stay longer. Easy going, open minded, love making new friends and meeting people from all the world, traveling and learning something new every day. I also like going out, sport, cultural events, music... I like my home tidy and clean and I´m very respectful with other flatmates. I would like to share flat with someone similar, friendly and respectful.
I'm a quiet laid-back guy who works nights in retail in Brunswick, so I'd like to live nearby, I don't drink or smoke (I don't mind if you do though) and like to spend my time relaxing back with a good book or spending time with friends and family. I make sure to always clean up after myself and don't shy away from helping out with cleaning. In saying that I do keep to myself a lot and I work nights so you might hardly see me throughout the week.
An IT Professional with a computer engineering degree and have experienced working with different Multinational companies and would like to stay in a peaceful , quiet place, mind my own business type but love occasional hang out or friendly talk with the housemates, love sports such as cricket, easy to get along with any gender any race any religion
Hi, I'm Thomasin. I work full time in the city as a web developer, looking for a quiet place. I eat mainly pre made meals and shakes so I don't make any mess in the kitchen, and I can clean up after myself. Been in Melbourne for 4 years, originally from New Zealand. A couple of drinks/meals/getting nails done every now and then with flatmates is nice but I'm not a partier and I'm not super outgoing I like to do my own thing. I train 3-5 times a week after work so often home a bit later. I'm into walks, lying around on my computer, pottery, comfortable silences. I have a partner who will probably stay over 1/2 times a week but we try get out of the house as much as we can so won't be in your way. I don't drive so living ~10min max from public transport is really a must for me to get into work every day. I am not vegetarian but all my meals w/ meat in them are premade so I never cook any any and it won't be in your face. Looking to live with other people in their 20s, preferably girls. (-:
Heya! How you going? I'm Sara, 28yo Italian language teacher. I work in 2 schools for adults in Abbotsford. I am very easy going, friendly, very well travelled, clean, respectful, love music, wine, the beach, the snow, arts and adventures and making tiramisu ;). Love to be out in the sun and make the most of my time here. I come from Cinque Terre, a pretty place in North-West Italy by the sea....I lived in the Uk, Germany and Australia in the past 6 years. This time, I fell in love with Melbourne and I'd like to stay at least one more year. I have aussie and international friends here in Melbourne since this would be my third year being based here. I am looking for a non-crazy expensive place to share with nice people who will become my friends and have a laugh when we are all at home together, but also give each other personal space of course! Cheeers, please message me for any question!
Hey there, The name is Shrav and finishing up with my studies at LaTrobe University. I consider myself as an orderly, social and tidy person who cleans up well after. I enjoy having a drink or two with a good conversation and going out on the weekends. Also, know a bit of strumming the guitar to entertain myself and others too, if they looking forward to some trouble :) I am currently doing my travel at South Asia and India, and the ideal time for me to move in would be on 10th of February as my uni would commence shortly. So feel free to shoot a message if you feel I would be a good fit to your lovely house. Looking forward to some cool new housemates. Cheers :)
Hi lovely people! I'm looking for somewhere fun to stay for an indeterminate amount of time. For the right place, that may be a long time, hopefully with the option of subletting the room when I run off to europe or wherever else. Otherwise, short term works well. I care more about who lives there then how old or big the place is, that said a backyard would be nice. Looking for a good balance of chilling and having fun. About me: I'm a very active and outdoorsy person, I cycle, climb, play tennis and a bit of soccer and other activity I can join. I also like time indoors, with board games, a doco or movie, books or practising spanish. I've lived in share houses before and know how to be clean, tidy and respectful, and can be handy when it comes to fixing things or gardening. It would be nice if the house is a friendly one where there are (ideally meat free) shared meals and other social time and where the occasional visitor or couchsurfer is welcome Ideal housemates would be active and happy people who like to socialise, have a few drinks, that join and suggest activities, and who are responsible enough to clean up any mess they make.
I'm 25, moving to Melbourne by myself, I'm from Nottingham in the U.K. I work as a mental health nurse. I'm interested in going out to eat, going out to socialising and meeting new people. I like live music, festivals and gigs. I don't mind watching sport. I'm hoping to move into accommodation with like minded people.
Hi I'm Michael, I'm originally from Townsville, and studied in Brisbane. I recently got a graduate job in Melbourne, so I'm hoping to find some accommodation around 5th-12th February in a suburb near Abbotsford. I like soccer, reading, and most pets. I'm quite easy-going, but am very considerate of others in shared areas. I generally prefer to cook my own meals, and am open to flatmates who like to entertain guests.
Helloooooo!! I'm a uni student studying languages and development studies, and I work in hospo so I've got enough money for rent and bills etc. I'm kinda sporty (I play hockey for Melbourne Uni, and I enjoy a bit of orienteering too), but I don't go for freakishly long runs every other day. On the fun side, I quite enjoy a beer or glass of wine over dinner, whether its at home or at the pub (love a good pub and beer garden), and I go to gigs and festivals whenever I can afford it. Will happily re-watch GoT or HIMYM at any time and have a long list of tv shows I need to watch. Not the best dinner chef, but will supply homemade cakes, cookies and pickled veg! I also potentially want to start doing homebrew beer, but we'll see how that goes. Also more than happy to live with any furry friends that you may have, especially if they're cuddly. Flexible moving date, but no sooner than Feb 20th as I need to give my current housemate enough time to find someone to takeover my room.
I’m Chloe, 22 and a student looking for a short sublet from the end of Feb/beginning of March - beginning of May anywhere in the Melbourne area pretty much! I’m clean, organised, happy to chat and hang out if other people are up for it!
We are friendly, easy to get along with, adaptable to peoples needs (privacy, personal space, sensitivities etc). We tend to carry on with our own agenda but still keep the space lively. :) We create and are into; poetry, music, art, film.. basically anything creative! We are moving Melbourne from Perth in April 2018. :D
I'm 31, and work as a clinical psychologist (science and feelings expert). Not a Melbourne native, but I've been here around a decade. I generally live a quietish life - more likely be having dinner or playing boardgames with friends than painting the town red, but I like a bit of both. Happy to do my own thing, or to socialise with housemates, depending on the vibe. I come with what I'd like to think is a wide range of knowledge, and love an interesting conversation. My former career also equips me with some decent IT skills, in case those would be useful. I'd like a housemate (or housemates) who are tidy, live their own lives, and enjoy a little bit of socialising with the people they live with. Ideally they'd probably be similarly-aged (late 20s/early 30s) professionals.
I'm sociable, tidy and laidback. I'm a graphic designer working full-time in Collingwood. Definitely an avid binge watcher and sometimes need a good drink or two! It'd be awesome to live with someone who I can be friends with, are tidy and loves the occasional Netflix night. I'm also cool with pets so there's no issue there.
Originally from Melbourne and excited to be moving back home for Uni after living in Canberra for a number of years. I've just wrapped up my gap year backpacking through Europe and about to begin an arts degree at the University of Melbourne in Feb. I'm a vegetarian but have no worries about sharing with non vegos. I have family in Melbourne and I'll be staying with them until I find accommodation, so move date isn't set in stone. I love meeting new people and having a laugh so would love to join (or team up and create) a social share house where chats over dinner or going for a drink together isn't unusual. With that being said, I also really value my down time and know when to respect other people's space. Having a chilled out house where everyone feels respected, happy and at home is really important to me. Of course, more than happy to keep everything tidy, pitch in with chores, be punctual with bills and generally be a kind, respectful roomie. I'm open to starting up a new share house so feel free to message me if you are as well.
I'm moving to Melbourne from Coffs Harbour to work for a renewable energy company. I have lived in share houses since moving out of home and love them! I enjoy rock climbing, photography and urban exploration.
Hi! I'm Georgia. I'm from the country and moved down to Melbourne three years ago for uni. I have just graduated from the Academy of Design Australia with a bachelor of design majoring in communication design and am currently looking for full time work since finishing my degree. I am pretty clean and don't leave my stuff lying around. I do not mind friends/partners of other housemates visiting as I myself have my boyfriend over a few nights a week and enjoy having friends over for drinks on the odd weekend. I am very respectful of other peoples belongings and would never do anything to damage anything. I like learning guitar and listening to music. I love animals and am cool with there being pets living in the place!
Hey, I'm Tiffany I'm 20 years old and studying psychology at Latrobe university. I also work full time in the city in a call centre but when uni comes around it will be around 3/4 days a week. I have a particularly busy schedule, but I'm really friendly, easy going and enjoy hanging out in my spare time. Open to similar areas, let me know what you have available!
Hi there! I am Teal. 25 - Professional working in the city full time between 9:00 - 5:00 Monday through Friday.
