I could do it the conventional way and start talking about how awesome I am to live with, but I'd rather let you read this quote which sums up all that I am and all that I want to do in life: “Lord make me an instrument of your peace; Where there is hatred let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; And where there is sadness, joy" Now a little about my situation, I live in Perth. I am moving to Melbourne to study Master of Law and Development, so that I can achieve the above quote on a larger scale, yaay!. I currently work full-time as Accounts Officer, but that will change to part-time remote work once I move to Melbourne. I am arriving Mar 11, 2018. My course starts Mar 14. I love being out and about, chilling with friends, having coffee or a drink, hiking, travelling, or watching movies. I am a happy person. I love bringing positive energy anywhere I go. I always go the extra mile to help others, even if they don't necessarily ask.
1. I replace the toilet paper when it runs out 2. I actually enjoy cooking for myself and others 3. I have netflix, hbo go, and amazon prime accounts 4. Not really a neat freak but I DO CLEAN - often without being prompted 5. Basically just down to earth, friendly, easygoing, and respectful of others/property/wont steal your food
I've lived in Melbourne for a year now after relocating from NSW, where I have lived all my life. I love everything about Melbourne! I still have so much left to explore. I will be studying nursing at La Trobe next year, and this year I'm going to focus on working, volunteering, and studying online. I'm friendly, laid back, and reliable. My most important values are honesty, compassion, and respect. I'm sociable but also quiet and clean. I have plenty of friends here but I prefer to go out and do things outside the house, so I don't have friends over often. And I'm always open to making new friends too! I love to cook and often prefer to cook for other people, not just myself. I also love pets, especially cats, so would welcome a place with pets. My other interests/hobbies are music, film, gaming, exploring nature, riding my bike (although I'm out of practise), science and maths, plants, playing keyboard and guitar (again, out of practise), just exploring the city, comedy shows, trivia nights, scrabble, and reading. I'm not picky with location, but I'm looking for a place near public transport, with friendly housemates, and preferably a downstairs room because I've discovered upstairs rooms can get very hot in the summer (not sure why this surprised me lol). I put 6 months but I'm also open to something more temporary and eventually want to find something long term. Either furnished or unfurnished works for me.
Hi potential future housemate! I'm from Tassie but have been living in Melbourne for over three years now. Love going on adventures, cooking/eating, yoga, being social and the occasional gig/festival! I work in Hospo and as a beauty therapist, looking to study part-time in the not to distant future. Moving from south-east to north for a change of pace and to be closer to the city. I'm an easy going, friendly and courteous person. I'll keep to myself but also always free for a chat/wine and the likes. Thank you for reading!
Student studying Captive animals/zoology. Casual healthcare worker. Unbelievably relaxed and respectful individual, a bit Ocd when it comes to cleaning, on the cusp of crazy catman when it comes to my girl, Chloe who is extremely well house trained, loves walks on a leash and is very friendly. My Hobbies include live music and anything that is in the creative spectrum. I am also friendly and understand the importance of privacy and personal space. Non drinker, good cook, love the outdoors and nature.
I am an easy going post grad student and will be spending my time at uni or work during the week and studying on the weekends. Born and raised in Melbourne. I am an organised, respectful and sociable person who enjoys cooking, going to the gym, and travelling.
I’m very easy going would love to have my roomies as my friends that I can have a kitchen coffee with or catch up a bit with a movie or a beer, but respect peoples space and won’t get weird if you want to live your life and do your own thing as I also like some alone Netflix and do nothing time. Very tidy as I’ve lived in a few share houses before (not in Melbourne) Just moved here from Perth to start at Melbourne University studying primary school teaching, very excited (start 26th Feb) and would love somewhere to live and call my own for a month as I am looking at rentals with two friends from April (so just looking on here for the month of march) Not employed right now but not so worried about jobs, want to know what area I will be living in before I go looking for work, but will be looking for casual work that fits around uni. Thanks please contact me if you have any thing!
Hi, I'm, Cameron a Full-time Masters student moving into Melbourne for the first time (I've been here before tho). Easy going, loves socializing and I think I have a pretty unique sense of humor. I have a whole lot of interests but still very open-minded. However, i do value my privacy as well. I totally believe in the live and let live philosophy, I really do not care what you do as long as it does not affect me. *Strictly looking for private room with ensuite bathroom. Would likely consider own bathroom (that is outside) depending on proximity and privacy* I like to keep fit as well so having a gym in the building or one nearby is a huge bonus. I also do not mind animals, I grew up with pets so rest assured (if you have one). Interested in Soccer and Tennis mostly but very open minded to joining in with any of your interests. Positives: - I consider myself a good person, whatever that means. - Always up for a chat, always happy to do things together as long as I get some personal space when necessary. - Flatshare experienced of around 4 years (never missed a payment) - I do not cook beyond using the microwave sometimes, cleanliness won't be an issue in common areas - Tech savy, will fix internet connections, maybe even recommend on cost lowering. - We will have a good relationship because if we do not I'll probably move out myself, I like to have a positive environment.
Hi guys! I am a young professional working as sommelier in the restaurant business. Although working most weeknights i am very respectful of everyone else doing 9-5 shifts. Generally I'm a very quiet and tidy person ,who really likes to contribute to an enjoyable home for everyone, but expects the same in return . If i am not tasting and serving wine all day i like to discover new dining places, travel, go to music gigs and see theater shows or swim. I am hoping that this would be a place to hang out with flatmates but also to retreat and to spend some time on my own. Due to my Working Holiday Visa i am looking for a place to stay from now until mid July, when i have to leave. If you feel like i could fit into your home, please contact me!:)
We’ve just moved to Melbourne from Tasmania for university and are eager to settle into a lovely place. We are both quiet but friendly people, used to residing in a shared living arrangement. We are quite clean, and fairly proficient cooks, and are happy to help as much as we are needed.
Hi! I'm Jonathan, originally from NZ and have lived here in Aus for four years now. I'm an apprentice chef so I love to cook and bake, always happy to share my creations too! I'm a lover of all things nature, very curious about the natural world and love to get out and explore it. Always enjoy being social and having a good chat with anyone about anything. Also enjoy time to myself, thoroughly enjoy my own company! This can mean accidentally watching hours of tv or just wandering about for a day on an ambling walk.
Hi! I'm looking for a place from May 1st, for a few months but preferably flexible. I'm studying a PhD at RMIT, Bundoora. I train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu ~3+ times a week, and go into the lab/office on a pretty much working schedule (e.g. 7-5pm). Happy to hangout and have a chat but happy with my own company too :) Pretty clean and tidy as a person, vegetarian but not fussed at all if you're not, like to go out and explore on the weekends! (Brunch/cocktails are ALWAYS an option). Drop me a message if you want to know anything more- I'm not looking for anywhere until at least May 1st though (as I will be in Brisbane for a few months until then)!
Tidy, cheerful, and easygoing! :)
I’m Mhairi (pronounced like Harry, but with an M), from Edinburgh, Scottish through and through. 22, turning 23 in March. I’m currently working as a receptionist in an advertising agency by Southbank and looking to move out of my 12 bed dorm and into my own room where I can crash about as much as I like without worrying about waking the guy in the bunk above. Being Scottish, I’m naturally very outgoing and kind (Scots are known for their kindness, look it up). As an experienced Office Manager in fast paced ad agencies I’m also very organised, tidy and respectful. Not going to lie, I love a drink on the weekend and if you’re looking for an entertaining night out I’m your gal but during the week I’m likely to be quietly sipping a wine before bed as I have work early in morning. Favorite food: Steak or pizza, its too hard to pick just one. Hobbies: Reading, karaoke, cleaning (I love the smell of bleach, is that weird?) Favorite book: Kay Scarpetta Series – Patricia Cornwell. Read all of them, currently on book 19 of 24 Favorite music: All genres, literally listen to anything! From Justin Bieber to Slipknot. The Smiths to Steely Dan. Favourite colour – ATM.. red. But you’ll usually find me in all black. If you’re looking for someone who’s going to sit in their room silent and only whisper when they talk that’s not me and I’m sorry for wasting your time. BUT if you’re looking for a girl who can talk the back legs off a donkey, is known as the mother of the dorm for her cooking, cleaning and beauty services and was asked to be bingo bitch for the hostels bingo night because she’s such a good host, then I am the flatmate for you.
Hi everyone, my name is Keely and I am currently in my second year, studying a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Politics and French at Melbourne University. I have moderately unhealthy obsessions with both books and coffee and would be willing to share both with any and all house members. I'm a somewhat good cook and love making food for others. I'm currently still living at home with my mum, in a small town in the Gippsland region which is about an hour and a half away from Melbourne. I'm a pretty sociable person and have always loved making friends, but I do appreciate the quiet as well. I do own a car, it's a little red mini convertible, and would be happy and willing to give any house mates a lift if they needed. Thanks so much for you consideration.
I'm 33, just moved to Melbourne after travelling overseas for about a year. Currently work full time for a Superannuation Administrator in the city, but I'm trying to transition into writing and visual media this year. Easy going, clean, happy to be alive, Looking for a place reasonably close to the city with some nice flatmates. Trying to save so I would prefer something under $200 per week.

I honestly enjoy being tidy and am respectful of everyone's space. I enjoy meeting people and hanging out. I'm undergoing my bachelor's degree at Latrobe uni and work part time as well. Being outdoors, and living a healthy balanced lifestyle is important to me. Feel free to contact me.
Heya! I'm Julian, I work full-time as a designer and recently took a new position down here in Melbourne after being in Brisbane for the last few years. I'll be working in Fitzroy, so somewhere that isn't too difficult to get work would be ideal. I've lived in multiple share houses over the years so I know how it works and am a very considerate roomie. I enjoy art, music (and of course design), love a good meal and a drink now and then :–)
I'm looking to move from Mildura to Melbourne sometime in April - the date I've listed is really just a placeholder, I'm pretty flexible with timing. My main passions are reading and writing, and I'm currently working on my first novel which I'm hoping to finish by the end of this year or early in the next. I'm tidy and clean up after myself. I love a laugh and a good time - I'm easy to get along with and I appreciate the value of cooperation. I'm in the midst of acquiring a transfer with Factorie and am looking to work for this year, with a goal of commencing a Master's degree next year to further my career.
