I’m currently employed by Qantas and have been with the company 9 years and counting. I mainly grew up in New Zealand and have spend the last 4 years in London. If I am not working you will usually find me travelling, that’s not to say I love a lazy day watching Netflix. Animal lover and foodie.
I'm 24 and I'm an Australian born Chinese raised in Brisbane, Queensland. I've relocated to Melbourne for work as an IT consultant so ideally I would love to live within close proximity to the city. A lot of my friends and colleagues describe me as quirky, a bit nerdy, and a bit weird (in a good way). I love binge watching netflix shows (like Rick and Morty, Brooklyn Nine Nine and some Anime), eating out, going to the arcade bars and playing some board games in my spare time. I'm a bit of a home body but also an outdoorsy person. I believe home should be my quiet and down-time sanctuary. But I also love going for cycles, hikes, checking out some quirky bars, eating out whilst stalking cute dogs at the cafes/dog parks. As for what I'm like as a housemate - I always clean up after myself and I'm really considerate of my roommates own space but always down to have dinner and chill out together. I'm really easy going, organised, reliable, down to earth and really respect people's own personal space. Would really love to find a place to stay long term. I have my own bedroom furniture, so not really requiring a furnished bedroom.
I’m from Brazil and I’m 39. I came to Melbourne to study and work. First I’m improving my english and them I’m going a post graduate. I am easy going, clean and focused on my studies. I’m looking for a house to long term.
Hey there! I am a typical 28 year old Melbourne chick. I love my sports, coffee/brunch, attend social events and loves the occasional boogie on the weekend. I work full time as an accountant in the media industry. During the week I go to the gym most days mixture of mornings and nights but like to come home and chill on the couch with a glass of wine and have a chat to unwind. I am also independent and like to chill on my own for a bit of time out. I am currently living back home with my parents in the western suburbs for the year after living in Prahran 5 years prior. I would love to move in with someone that I can can get along and become friends with I sold all of my furniture and white goods to my old room mates. I can provide some nice plates and glasses &; of course my bedroom furniture. I don’t drive so I wouldn’t need a car space either. If you could see me on your couch with a glass of wine watching Bachie/MAFS or the footy and having a gossip, I am the roomie for you!
A human.Being. I’m a creature of contradictions—An athletic bookworm, a night owl who’s an early riser, and an active guy who loves to be lazy on Sunday mornings. Currently, I’m looking for great housemates, a bed, working WI-FI and a roof over my head (walls would be nice too) till I find my own apartment in Melbourne. • I am very clean but not obsessive about it; I tidy after myself • I don’t watch much TV other than rugby and classic movies • I enjoy discovering recipes and I’m always interested in learning new things whether it’s history, docies, the guitar or heading downtown to check out a band I’ve probably never heard of—the weirder the better. Let me know if I can crash at yours or just give me some tips on some great recipes.
Hey there guys, I´m a young man from Mexico that came to Melbourne to meet people and have a great experience. I´m currently studying at APC, working part time and I spend most of my time outside admiring the city. Being clean and respectful are my key strengths and I also love sharing a beer has a hobby and making people laugh.
Hi guys, my name's Greg, and I'm an American journalist. I visited Melbourne in April and fell in love, so I'm moving from Brooklyn to Melbourne this September to work for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. I've had roommates since college, so I'm clean, but also pretty relaxed about things. I like to go out and socialize on the weekends with friends, and sometimes during the week if I'm up for it. Every now and then I'll travel for work or to see a bit more of the country, and I'll be in Melbourne for at least a year.
I am a student at the University of Melbourne and am working part-time at an analytics firm as a marketing strategist. I am a quiet, non-intrusive person, though I wouldn't mind catching up for a cup of tea every few days. I enjoy cooking and prefer eating at home. If you're around, you're in for a treat. I also love love love dogs.
Hi I'm Carwyn (British, M, 25). I am are clean responsible and I will be working full time. I enjoy socialising and I already have a few friends dotted around the city but I love any opportunity to meet more people! I work as a programmer/I.T. Support back home but I have been working in Hospitality whilst in Australia. A year away from staring at a computer screen is amazing! In my spare time I like to DJ, Slackline, Play board games and meet new people. I'm looking for a place to live until next March. I also have a friend moving to Melbourne on the 4th of September, So I am willing to look at sharerooms for the both of us, this is not essential but if you are willing to allow me to pay the bond for both of us until he arrives I'm more than willing to come view those rooms also.
English but lived in NZ for the 9 years so pretty much half kiwi! Hairdresser making Melbounre home. I do love my own space but also meeting people, a good night out & bunch dates! I love travel, music, hair & cooking. A clean tidy house is a must, nobody likes to live in other peoples mess!
I am studying at La Trobe University, and I work in the city. I currently reside in Bundoora but I'm looking for something between uni and work. I like to chill out, watch movies, work on new cosplay ideas when I have a day off. I don't have an official move date, but the sooner the better because of work.
Hello! I'm Catherine, 29 years old and am currently employed as a full-time Graphic Designer. I'm an independent and easy-going personality. I enjoy swimming, surfing, reading, live music and travel. I work 9-5 so my weeknights are generally pretty quiet, maybe with a meal or two out with friends. I'm usually out on the weekends as I like to catch up with friends and family and often get over to the beach. I'm a clean and considerate housemate and I'm looking for friendly people who are thoughtful about privacy, cleanliness and are dependable with finances. I really enjoy cooking and like to organise my own food, but am always down to share an occasional dinner. (I don't have any food allergies or preferences). I'd prefer a place with no smokers or indoor pets, but it's not a deal-breaker :-) It would be great to meet you if think I'd be a good fit for your home!
I'm an easy going, down to earth, working professional. I have just moved over from Perth for more opportunities. At the moment I am staying with family however would love to find a share-house with similar minded people. I am the golf industry and enjoy playing as much as I can. I enjoy most outdoor activities and can not wait to experience a nice Melbourne summer.
Hey everyone! I am looking for a furnished private room to rent for a long term stay. Or at the very least a bed and BIR (a desk would be awesome too lol). Preferably in Brunswick, Ascot Vale, St Kilda, South Yarra, Elwood or anywhere that’s less than an hour from Southbank via public transport. Also, internet is a must! I arrive in Melbourne on the 13th of September and hope to move in as soon as I arrive. My budget is $700pcm, but of course the lower the better. 😬 A little bit about myself: I am an international student from Singapore, mid-20s and I will be studying Filmmaking this coming September. I like to spend my free time watching movies, sports and exploring new places with my camera(be it cool hipster cafes or jungle trekking). I'm pretty chill and sociable, some say funny but that's up to you to decide 😉. I don’t consider myself as a party person but I do enjoy music festivals and a few drinks every now and then. I'm respectful and tidy therefore I pay bills on time and clean up after myself. I’m also LGBTQ friendly and I don’t mind pets at all. 😬🐒 Now, as I am still in Singapore, I am not able to do a viewing in person. But I'm totally down for a video call interview/viewing if you are open to that idea. 😃 Cheers, Jerry 🤙🏼 :)
I work full time in retail, and am making the move from Auckland to be closer to my family of who have relocated to Melbourne in the past year. I’m easy going & laid back. I am a super clean & tidy person. I love having a cheeky couple of glasses of Pinot noir over good music & company, at the same time I do enjoy my personal space as well as down time to myself. I’m not a all out party girl but I do love a big night blowout once every so often- don’t we all? I’m on the hunt for likeminded people to make my Melbourne experience amazing!
I'm looking to relocate to the city to be closer to work. I'm a massive introvert, I love staying home. I love a good chat and tea, so so much tea. I'm not into partying (I don't drink) but if you mean the pillow fort kinda party, I'm down for that.
I’m responsible, considerate and respectful. I will clean up after myself. I value communication and integrity. I’m warm and friendly - can be sociable - but will also respect your space (I’m an introvert). I’m fine with pets. Non-smoker, don’t drink, prefer cosy gatherings to big parties. I’m also a devout Christian and my greatest passion is Jesus. I’m moving from Singapore to Melbourne in 2019 to pursue a teaching qualification at Uni Melbourne. I studied Literature for my Bachelor’s. I enjoy reading, writing, baking, illustration and connecting with people over brunch/coffee.
Hi! I am a friendly, respectful, kind, considerate, warm, fun, communicative, genuine, honest and reliable person and am looking to share with others who are also. I have lots of house sharing experience. I’m easy going, flexible, clean and tidy and enjoy sharing. Most importantly, I seek mutually respectful and considerate shared-living relationships. I am respectful of other people’s needs, interests and privacy - appreciating both social and quiet times - and seek the same in return. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures. Currently, I work in human rights - refugees. I’m an active and positive person, am interested in health and live on a plant-based diet. I go out Salsa and Latin dancing regularly and have a broad interest in ideas, music, culture, the arts, film, nature and the environment. Love to be near the sea, trees, parks and gardens and go for walks. Naturally more of a night owl than a rooster person. I respect other people’s schedules, activity, quiet, rest and sleep needs - as I would wish people to equally respect mine.
