Hello folks, I am Gautham, 33 Male, migrating from Bangalore India. I work as a Business Analyst for a software consultancy firm here in Bangalore and would be migrating to Melbourne in March 2019. I am married and have a 3 year old kid back home, but will be migrating alone. I need a temporary accommodation for 3-4 months during which I would hopefully land a job & set up a bigger place to bring in my family. I am clean, tidy and always pay my rent on time. When I am not working, I usually spend time glued to my Kindle e-reader or catch latest shows on Netflix. I love conversations if you are up for a chat. A complete foodie (a little on the chubbier side) and a terrible cook (I can prepare edible things to eat for myself).
Hey I’m just starting a masters in March so I’m looking to move closer to the uni. I’m pretty clean and quiet but also don’t mind parties or whatever. I like to cook so there might be leftovers. Big fan of comedy so pretty keen for the festival. I’m also aware.

I was born in Australia and I currently work full time in a busy restaurant in South Morang, on my days off I am studying electro-technology as I am pursuing a career as an electrician. I moved to Melbourne last December from Western Australia and have worked full time since. I have lived out of home since I was 15 and know how to act independently and take care of myself and surroundings. I don't smoke or drink so there will be no issues there. In my spare time I like to get out doors and see the natural sights in Melbourne. Looking for a place to call home for a few months and possibly longer.
I'm a 20 year old student from Ballarat studying at the University of Melbourne who loves music, movies, cooking and just hanging out :) I work part-time at a cinema and am super friendly, easy-going and fun. Looking for some other young people from all walks of life to live with!
I’m studying international business at RMIT. Right now I’m living in Epping which is pretty far from my uni, therefore looking for a place which is near. Im punctual with paying the rent, neat, tidy and organised. In my free time I like to read or watch Netflix and go out with my friends. I respect people’s privacy and I’m not at all fussy. I’m in a desperate need to find a new place since my uni is starting in feb and my classes are going to be till 9:30 pm. I’m planning to stay for long term. Pls let me know if the place is still available and when I can inspect the property Thanks ☺️
I'm a Bachelor of Music student studying at Melbourne Uni, primarily at the Southbank campus. I am looking for a friendly, quiet household to be a part of as I complete my 3 year degree, preferably with fellow students but open to other arrangements. I love animals - I do not mind if you have a pet, but I don't have one - and I do not smoke, but am fine with people smoking as long as it is outside. I am looking at spending up to $200 a week including bills. I enjoy reading a good book, cooking, skiing, scuba diving, practicing martial arts, playing around with art and socialising over a cup of tea or coffee. If you think I would fit into your household let me know :-).
Im 24, Electrician full time. Looking for a room for 4-6 months. I am fairly clean and easy to get along with. I have a girlfriend that would come stay 2-3 nights a week. I have a mate who is 22 and also an electrician who is looking to move with me. So if you have two rooms available get in contact with me. We both require off-street secure parking for our ute.
Hey I am student at la trobe University studying a bachelor of creative arts, majoring in theater. I am in my last year of University so I will be trying my best to knuckle down and get it done! For work, I am with the YMCA (I also volunteer for them) and also the platform sidekicker. At home, I'm pretty chill; love playing stategy games either on PC or on a tabletop (I have a nice set of board games I'm building up) as well as playing music (I sing and play guitar). I'm reasonably clean, especially in communal areas and I'm looking for people with the same attitude (not an extremest though). I'm pretty friendly, love a glass of red or a beer, so if you down for chat, give me a buzz :)
Very outgoing but also considerate and extremely mindful of other’s personal space/ boundaries as they are a key to living with another person. Believe tasks that everyone benefits from should be shared. A happy home is a good home and everyone deserves to feel safe and cared for in their home :) I don’t agree in leaving pets behind when you move so won’t be leaving without my gorgeous cat, she is half my heart. She is very well trained, well cared for and groomed regularly to help with hair.
I am a Patient Transport Officer (non-emergency Ambulance Officer) and am seeking 'granny flat' accommodation. Requiring furnished/partly furnished 'self contained accommodation' including fridge (Not house share). Access to a laundry is preferable. A 58 yo divorced 'gentleman' who has been a home owner in the past and who is clean living, quiet and respectful. My son is an adult and lives with his wife overseas. Term could be longer than 6 months if it is the 'right' place for me and I am the 'right' tenant for you :) References available on request. Michael
Hi there, I’m Flavia, a 33 year old architect and jewellery designer. I’ve been living across the globe for over ten years and have been calling Australia my home for nearly five years now. I’m quite busy during the week with work and my business but enjoy sharing meals, wine, good stories (maybe even trips to the ocean) when the time allows. I am used to house sharing and you’ll find a respectful, reliable and friendly housemate. I don’t have any pets but it would be a big bonus if you do! :) my move in date is flexible so can work around your preferred date.
I have just moved to Melbourne about 6 months ago from adelaide for work! Currently in an apartment in Moonee Ponds but I am a shift worker so struggling with the contstruction noise! I am super laid back and very clean and tidy! I like my own space but am also very sociable so up for a chat and drink every now and then :) I would love to team up with two like minded people and hopefully get a townhouse/house somewhere! Not really looking to rent a room as I have lots of furniture. I have all furniture required to fill a house (couch, tv, table, fridge, etc) so just looking for two housemates to share a home with! Let me know if you’re interested! :)
My name is Callum, I'm 24 years old, I work part time. I'm an actor, cosplayer and gamer in my free time. Whenever I can actually get any of that. Tend to keep to myself for the most part, but am happy to socialize and have dinner. Pretty easy going. Looking to ideally team up with some people, probably max four (including me) to find a place where we can live together with ease. - Geez, that sounds cliche. Otherwise, I'm always up for renting a room somewhere. Can't really think of anything else to write, so that'll do.
Hello, My name is Lys, I'm 26. I’m a design student from Montreal, in exchange at RMIT looking for a calm environment to study focus, and generate ideas. I am responsible and tidy. I love to cook healthy food and meditate. If close to a local farmers market it is a bonus ;) My budget can vary depending on what you can offer from 150-250 /wk I’m arriving on February 14th and leaving on July 29th. So I need a room for about 5 months and 15 days. ** my preference it’s a room with own bathroom or entire student accommodation. (With kitchen and furnishings) I need something practical. Cheers, ~Lys
Hey Flatmaters! I'm Emily-Rose, a 30-year-old Communications professional who likes counteracting all the chocolate I eat with gym sessions and pole dancing classes. I'm a Melbourne local, and have a big and varied group of friends so I spend most weekends out socialising. I adore pets, and would ideally like to adopt a 'lil kitty or puppy in my future place, but would be fully responsible for the important things like keeping it alive. I'm looking to move in early February, and am fully house trained. I've lived in both great and awful sharehouses in the past, so I know exactly what I'm looking for in the housemate department. Hopefully that's you! I'm quite a social person but also really value my alone time (I'd say like a 70/30 split): I'd love to live with people who love a chat and to share a tv series or a trip to the pub for a drink, but who won't take it personally if I go straight for my bedroom for a nap after a long day. Likewise, I'm really respectful of others' space and things, so I won't bug you if you also need some solo time. My future home will be relatively new (i.e. mama wants a dishwasher), with lots of natural light, and preferably close to a park. I have minimal household stuff outside of my bedroom, but would happily invest in some big-ticket items if needed. I'm also very interested in hiring a cleaner once every 2-4 weeks to take the biggest burden off the household stuff. If this all seems good to you I hope to hear from you soon!
Hi there future flattie! I'm a PhD student moving from NZ on the 16th February to study Pharmaceutical Research at UniMelb so am looking for a sharehouse within a short tram ride to the Parkville campus. I'm super excited to explore Melbourne and hopefully live with some great housemates/friends! A bit about me - I'm easy-going, tidy and respectful of others' space. Not much of a party-goer but I do love a good chat over a wine. I love keeping fit but definitely appreciate some good comfort food and love cooking Mexican! I'm sadly allergic to cats so cannot live with cat parents :( but am a HUGE dog lover so that's a plus if you have one! Flick me a message if you think we would make great flatmates. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi, I recently relocated down to Melbourne from Byron Bay for my work, and am looking for either a private room or shareroom. Now, a bit about myself: I'm 29, originally from the USA, and work full-time in the CBD. Feel free to message me, and I'll get back to you asap. Cheers, Matt
