Hello! I'm moving to Melbourne next February to study English in Impact College. I'd like to be as close to the city center as possible. I'm an easy-going person, don't smoke or drink and I am very respectful of other's space. Some others preferences about the place would be: *Need a study desk or study room in a public area of the building. *No bunk bed. * Rent not over 200/week (INCLUDING BILLS). Please let me know if there's anything you'd like to ask or if you have a room within my budget :)
I am a 25 year old girl looking for a place in Fitzroy or Collingwood. I have lived in Melbourne for 4 years now and have just got back from travelling so need a new place to stay (preferably long term). I work in clinical trials and I am also a yoga teacher. I am pretty laid back, enjoy a wine and a dance at the weekend but I work pretty long hours so usually just hang out and chill during the week. In my spare time I love cooking, going to the gym/yoga, spending time in cafes and bars or going on trips into nature. Although I have a good group of mates in Melbourne I am really looking to move into a house with like minded people that can be mates and are up for a chat when home at the same time. It would be great to live with people that aren't really uptight about things but respect the house and keep things clean etc. I am looking for somewhere asap so please give me a shout if you would like to know anything else :)
I am a 32 yo communicative, open minded biologist from Germany. I like to meet new people, to hang out together, be outside and do sports :) Of course, I love to travel and I'm down to basically every activity, like skiing, snowboarding, kitesurfing, skydiving, camping, festivals, hiking, scuba diving and so on. I enjoy a comfy evening with food and tea or wine as much as a night out. Last year, I finished my PhD and am about to start as a post doc in Melbourne in February 2019, for 2 to 4 years. My move to Australia is scheduled for the end of January. I won't bring any furniture, so would be happy to move into a furnished room. If you have any question, just drop me a line:)
I'm an engineer by trade working in environment for a mining company. Mostly office based in Southbank, but get out to site once in a while. Enjoy watching/playing sports & fitness, most weeknights spent in the gym! Enjoy going out for a drink and socialising. Quirks include a passion for 80's metal and an interest in chess. Other than that, mostly grown up in Melbourne and love it...pretty sure I'm going to die here! Mainly looking for someone I would get along with to share a place - this is more important to me than location or the place itself :)

Hey there, I’m a professional guy who’s looking a good place for long term either short term. I am into outdoors, rd trips, exploring new things and places. I’ m always down for a good meal, cooking or TV/Netflix with housemates. I am a tidy person and someone who loves to keep everything clean after myself. I’m very respectful, reasonably private but social, always happy for a chat but not a party person. I come with a car so off-street parking is a bonus otherwise on-street is just fine. I want to have a nice cozy room and chill place to come home to each night. Happy to pay upfront rent for a good place. Don’t hesitate for further chat. Best regards, Farhan
Canadian with Aussie citizenship looking to move to Melbourne from Vancouver Bc. I'm a cook, and am usually more than willing to cook dinner for others, especially if feedback is provided. Will most likely be working full-time once I move, and after settling in, will be actively pursuing an apprenticeship. Hoping to find roommates on the more social side of life. Bit of a gamer, and a music producer from time to time. Looking for any kind of rental, as long as the kitchen is decent, and has a gas stove. Already paying for Netflix and Spotify family and more than willing to give those out for free. Super clean, super tidy, and would like to find others who are that way too. If you'd like to contact me, feel free to email me at email@example.com and I will reply promptly.

Hey potential housemates! I'm Isabelle. I'm 25 and am from the Central Coast, NSW. I'm a primary school teacher and have just accepted a position down in Melbourne starting in late January 2019. My boyfriend Ben (also 25) and I are making the move down to Melbourne in the New Year and are looking to move into a place anytime from New Years Day onwards. We are hoping to move into a respectful, fun and somewhat social, existing sharehouse in the one of the Northern Suburbs, preferably either Brunswick, Coburg, Moonee Ponds, Flemington, Essendon, Kensington, Fitzroy, Northcote or North Melb, as these are the shortest commute to work for both of us. Ben is a carpenter and stonemason who restores historic, hertitage churches and buildings in Sydney and across rural NSW. He's originally from the country, just outside the Blue Mountains, and is currently working as a Rope Access Technician spiderman-ing his way down Sydney's skyscrapers. Neither of us have lived in Melbourne before, and we are both very excited to experience all that the city has to offer! As we both work full time , we're fairly low key during the week. However on weekends we mostly go like to go and see live music and a sports game, catch up with friends and family, go out for meals, movies, indoor rockclimb and explore the city! Ideally, we would love to move into a place for at least 6 months, sharing with another couple or 2-4 single housemates. We've both lived in various sharehouses before and are both very tidy and respectful/clean in all communal spaces. We are definitely looking to move into a fairly social house where eventually there is more of a friends than just housemates kinda vibe! In saying that, we are both also very independent/doing our own thing and appreciate a bit of downtime too. I also promise we are def not the kinda couple that make you feel super third-wheely! We would love to both chat further and pop round to meet you and your housemates and visit the room/place anytime in January! Thanks! :) :) Ben and Izzy
I am making the move from South Australia to Victoria to study screenwriting. I'm looking to move early-mid February. I am easy-going, friendly and neat. I'm happy to participate in house culture but I also like my alone time and respect other's. I come with a variety of delicious and therapeutic teas and (if there's room) a vinyl record player. I'm also a vegetarian but I normally sort my meals out myself. I have experience with house sharing and can provide rental inspection reports if you wish. I will be studying full-time but I also intend to find part-time work. I'm looking for a house with a friendly atmosphere, that is close to public transport and shops. I have a car but have not decided whether or not I will bring it with me to Victoria.
Hi We are Amanda & Jake from London. We are both in our late 20's (Amanda is turning 30 this month) We are in Australia on a WHV and have been living in Sydney for the past 6 months. Jake is a carpenter by trade and Amanda works with children. We are both non-judgey vegetarians. We enjoy socialising and equally having quiet nights in. We both like to keep active in our spare time by going to the gym, swimming, climbing, and are also keen beach goers. We enjoy the arts in particular music, film and the theatre. We both have experience living in a shared house as we have been doing so since arriving in Australia. We are clean and tidy and respectful of peoples space and property. We are happy to live with pets (especially dogs) Feel free to get in touch. Amanda & Jake
Hi, My names Anya and I'm from England. Looking for a place to stay whilst using a working holiday visa starting late 2019. I'm rather tidy and love to be organised I have two dogs at home and love animals so pets would not be a problem Looking for more central places but as long as there is good public transport it should be fine. I like to have my own space but would love to have a flatmate(s) to show me round and to be friends with! Thanks :)
