Hello , I am clean and tidy, respectful, sociable and I respect other peoples space and property, thats the important stuff. I am returning from spending a year in the UK and I am really looking forward to getting back to melbourne. I will be training to be a draftsmen with autoCAD and working on writing projects while working. Its fair to say that i would prefer not to get into a party house due to my study commitments but thats not to say I am a crusty old twonk. #lifeintheolddogyet. I love my sport, movies, music and books but the majority of tv passes me by. I am willing to share with anybody so long as your not a strong advocate of Mr Trump. I am from Liverpool originaly (scouser) and i still have most of the accent, which you will get the hang of in a very short time, or we can communicate with hand gestures and interpretive dance. I will be arriving in Melbourne on dec 4th which would be the ideal time to move in but i am flexable, airbnb may be a short term option. My studies have a flexable time frame so I expect to be working full time also, i am experienced in a number of fields with numerous contacts, however i will be arriving with extensive funds so as to get a head start on my studies. By the way, I am flexable on the stay length. All the best Mark
I’m a Spanish student who came here to improve my English, really easy going and Would love to live on a clean and fun environment.
Hi! My name is Owen and I'm a fresh grad, looking for a place to stay. I'm currently in the midst of looking for work in my study related profession, but rent is not a problem as I clean privately. I appreciate a clean and well kept home, and will do my part in keeping it that way. I also enjoy cooking and baking, so you can expect some food! Other things I enjoy are gaming, going out for brunch with friends on the weekends (or food in general), just chilling at home and some yoga. I also love furry friends, so they aren't an issue! (Bonus points if you have a doggo). I'm respectful of your space and am a private person myself, but am always open for a chat if you'd like. Most importantly, if you're looking for a housemate and a friend, I hope to fit your bill!
I’m easy going male IT professional with stable income employed at University in fulltime capacity (Mon - Fri / 9-5). I'm clean, tidy, respectful of other's personal space and am always up for a chat. Please let me know if I sound like a good fit for your home and I can come and meet you.
My name is Simon and I work for NAB. I’ve recently returned from Sydney and am currently staying in thornbury. I’m looking to rent somewhere for the medium to long term that is furnished. I work full time Monday to Friday and spend spare time reading, gym, Netflix, fairly active. I work in Docklands so this is a great location. I like to cook, I spent a lot of time in hospitality before moving to finance. I’m not a room hermit but also respect other people’s need to have their own time and space. I’d be interested in having a look at the room and meeting you if it’s still available. Im not in a rush to move, but the sooner the better. Please don’t hesitate to contact me for any more information or to arrange a time to meet. Talk soon.
I am a 25 year old professional relocating from Newcastle NSW to Melbourne to take on a BDM role for an Educational Resources company. I will be spending most of my time either on the road around the city visiting childcare centres, or working in the CBD at the office, however will be required to work from home a little bit (and would love a study space/corner!) I have lived in share houses previously, and really enjoy it. I like to keep things relatively clean and tidy. I am an active and a social person - I’ll often be up and about in the morning with the dogs, and hitting the gym after work, but do love my wine and cheese and a night in or out as well. I have a 10 year old Jack Russell. She is an absolute sweetheart and gets on well with other dogs, but as she is getting old she spends most of her time sleeping or snoozing in the sunshine and isn’t too playful anymore. I also have a 3 year old Ridgeback mix. He is very quiet and loves a good belly rub. Where I am now, I take them out regularly, and am happy to help out with yours too. As I’m still in Newcastle, I can’t actually come and have a look at the room straight away (though am hoping to be able to come down for a weekend to check places out in the next couple of weeks), but am more than happy to have a chat over phone, Social Media etc, whatever works for you! My starting date for the new job is 3rd December (so soon!!), so looking to move in the days prior to that - ideally the Thursday/Friday before, but do have a couch to crash on if this needs to be pushed out a few days. I look forward to hearing from you!
easy going, sense of humour, honest and decent, clean but not obsessive, open and straight talking, not petty or nit picky, know when to keep to myself but happy to pitch in and be part of it too. non smoker, dog lover. Great job in senior management that requires a bit of travel. paying off my own place in QLD. a happy person.
My name is Andrew - I am 24, open minded, vegetarian, house trained and a keen musician. I completed an honours degree in fine art at RMIT and now as a freelance artist at home as well as a stage hand setting up events. I am an energetic person with good values and always keen for a chat but also always keen to not chat also if required !! My current share house in Northcote is being demolished and I need to find somewhere asap to stay for 1 month short term as I will be returning home to the Blue Mountains at the end of the year.
I am just a regular person. I love my pets they are my world. I have a cat which is not allowed out and 3 dog's...a 9 yr pug x, 7 yr cavvie cross and 3 yr old cav cross. All very friendly! And come with rental reference too! So no carpets just incase. And follow me around like shadows. So you can enjoy having a pet without the financial responsibility! I don't drink or party anymore, but love live music and going to gigs. I can entertain myself but also social. Some may say that I alternative. I am studying social work and a bit of a lefty. Study is only part time too. So I work in the sector which includes shift work sometimes. And a dog walkerfor extra cash. Oh I pay my bills on time too! What else should I write 🤓
I'm a 23 year old from the country Victoria studying a Bachelor in Criminal Justice with the hopes of joining the Federal Police. I flip burgers and toss salads to pay the bills, while also feeding myself a lot at work. I enjoy the company of people and pets of any kind (living on a farm does that) but when I am working/studying I'm pretty recluse and like to work as hard as possible. I am an avid video gamer, enjoy playing sport (not so much watching it), reading long novels that never seem to finish and going out for a quite Friday night. I like to keep myself and my room clean and respect that fact that I will be sharing a house with others and will gladly pitch in to keep it clean and running (if there is a nice garden I wouldn't mind planting a few veggies to even try and keep the food flowing fresh). Cheers.
Hi guys! I have just moved back to Australia and am looking for a room. This past 1.5 years I have been living abroad and lived/worked one year in Berlin - amazing city! I am originally from Adelaide and just now moved to Melb. Currently I am still employed by the Westpac Group (I was on a career break while I went away) but at the moment on unpaid leave. I just got back from overseas and am trying to get my boss to organise a work transfer to Melb part-time. I will also study Community Services in 2019. About me: I am so easy going! I have travelled around the world and led an interesting life in Berlin where I made the move spontaneously, without knowing anyone or anything there! And it was the best year of my life. Found a job, found a place to live and made amazing friends and created amazing memories. As a housemate I am: Clean and neat (this is a vow haha), respectful, fun (always down for a drink and an interesting chat) flexible (believe it or not in Berlin for 6 months I lived in a bedroom/shower - I will explain more when I see you and show you a photo lol) and organised (rent will always be paid on time and I do have savings already put away for that). I used to be a school teacher, a finance case manager and in Berlin a patient care adviser for a digital hospital, but will now pursue what I am truly passionate about which is case management in community services (hence a little extra study). My interests: -Traveling (yeah yeah everyone writes that, but I have been to some interesting places that the usual crowd would not venture to). -Exploring abandoned places (in Berlin I explored an old Nazi hospital which Hitler used to be treated at, an old abandoned chemical factory where we found documents from the 80s still there and laboratories...abandoned houses with magazines from the 70s and old furniture, clothes etc...the list goes on). - Techno music (Berlin exposed me to some amazing under ground techno artists and now I have a sweet collection of awesome tracks). -Art/Graffiti art...I love photographing graffiti art and going to different art exhibitions and galleries. Anyway sorry about the thesis, but I will be your perfect new flatmate (really!) haha and hopefully we can meet! Any other questions just ask. Peace!
We are cousins originally from the country who've been through our share of share houses! With 8 years renting experience between us we know how to keep tidy, respect people's space and cook for a crowd! Both fans of footy, live music and great food, we are working students looking for a place to call home :)
I will be moving from Sydney to Melbourne for three months from January 18th which may be extended for a year after April. I’m clean and respectful and expect the same as I’m a working professional. I enjoy cooking and going out to eat with friends for the most part but I also love staying in and watching a movie. I finish work around 5.30-6.30pm daily and try to get to the gym 3-4 times a week so I save going out and downtime for weekends. I am a social smoker though I am quitting that - I never smoke indoors and I don’t litter.
Currently travelling to escape the realities of employment back at home, but now I am after some work and thus, a place to stay in Melbourne. I have been told by people that I am very sociable and easy going, which I'll take as constructive feedback, but I am always keen to meet new people and make new pals. Love my sport, music, writing and the occasional Netflix series, as long as it is not reality TV...
hi Guys. I'm 36 years of age and looking for accommodation for one person only, which is myself. I'll be looking at moving in late December or early January. I was born in Australia, but come from an Italian backround, so I have respect and I am very mindful and take care of other people belongings. I get along with absolutely anyone as I am always chirpy and a little loud, so im always up for a chat, but also totally understand if you would prefer quiet time and your own space. I totally love my alone time also, I am a very good cook, and am studying youth work. If you like what you read please contact me 😁😀😀😀😀😁 Grace
Hello! I'm looking for a new home! I'm 29, vegetarian, love craft beer, music festivals, bass music, meditating, running and cleaning ;) I'm looking for a calm and happy household, I tend to be out the house a lot, but when I'm home I really value knowing my housemates and getting along. I work full time 9-5, happy with long or short term & happy to go on the lease. Ideally I would like to move in the first week of October but I'm flexible for the right place. I look forward to meeting you! :)
Hi there! My name is Ai full time student and part time working as a therapist(massage, beauty and holistic therapy etc...). I'm friendly, tidy, clean and mature Japanese. I like traveling, yoga, meditation, eating and drinking wine.
Non smoker, working in health and wellbeing and also studying. I enjoy company, quietly social and fairly active but like quiet time too. Have been living in my own place for 2yrs but would like to move closer to city such as Darebin area. I'm a bit eco minded so i would ideally like some garden / veggie beds. I play tennis, enjoy yoga and meditation. Love dogs but don't own one, sometimes i house mind just to look after dogs (and have a holiday). I'm allergic to cats. Ideally looking for a team up or share with 1 or 2 others as i have my own furniture. (PS I'm not looking for a boyfriend, just a house mate)
Well howdy, Sheena's the name and making friends is the game. The main things I have been told are that I'm smart, generous, wise, and honest. I would describe myself as a person who adores meeting new people and respects everyone regardless of their differences. The qualities I possess which make me a great housemate include, but aren't limited to: clean, sociable, respectful, private, and I make some mean food (you’d die for my fudge.) I’m 18 years of age and moved out of home nearly 2 years ago, currently live in NSW with a housemate, and I plan to move to Melbourne after Christmas. I work two jobs as a waitress and I will find another one as soon as I move in. I also have my license. What do I do for fun? Well, simultaneously nothing and many things. Mostly I hang out on my phone like the majority of people nowadays, but when I put it down I play video games, draw, read, and of course, go to my local café nearly every day for a coffee. I also adore going for scenic walks and being in the present moment. I love going for a few drinks with friends on the weekends and I hate wine but respect those who can stomach it. If you’d like to know more, please shoot me a message, as I won’t bite :)
Hey! I'm Shak, I am 26 and I work in advertising. I recently moved back to Melbourne after spending the last two years in London. I'm pretty quiet during the week - often go to the gym or go out for the occasional dinner. Also do the occasional late night at work. I'm pretty social on the weekends, usually spending time with my family or going out with friends. Would love to live with someone who enjoys going out for a drink or having a glass of wine or five at home. Someone that will be a friend, but is also respectful of each others privacy/space. I'm not much of a cook but I am super tidy - never lived in a house with a cleaning roster but have always shared the cleaning. I have a car so looking for a place with some sort of parking (on or off street)
Hey there! I'm Ivy, from good ol' Byron Bay on a quest to Melbourne to study my love, Photography, at RMIT in Feb. I am currently studying childcare and working as an assistant educator in a childcare centre (from that fact alone you know i have good patience and am a pro at cleaning up icky things). The things i enjoy when i'm not working or studying are; - going to gigs - reading in parks, or reading in libraries with really comfy chairs - making collages - taking piccies of people (i'll take pics of you if you so wish!), and also taking piccies of the gigs i go to (I run a music blog with my current roommate that i do photos for) - listening to copious amounts of music (psychedelic rock/lofi/dream pop/alt rock is my jam, i can link you some playlists) - cutting my fringe too short - wearing cool hats and a lot of corduroy - watching sitcoms like the office 'n parks and rec, or the occasional terrible rom-com House-mate wise i'm very calm and easygoing, clean, tidy and respectful of personal space. I very much enjoy my own space too, i'm a massive introvert so i'll probably spend most of my time at home in my room studying or listening to music. Despite this i'm still always up to hang out and share some tunes or go to a gig with you or something ! Also I currently live with a vegan so i'm used to not cooking or eating meat in the house if that is necessary. I'd love to move into a household with other creative or music/gig lovin' people, but that's not a requirement obviously! I get along with anyone :-) Message me with any more Q's! (or if you want me to link you some playlists) Thanks!
