Hey guys My names Connor and I'll be moving back to Melbourne at the end of March after 4 years in sunny QLD completing a Bachelor of Building Design (Architectural). I am making the move back after being offered full time employment at a design firm in the far Northern Suburbs so will be looking at living within a 30 minute commute of South Morang. I'll be arriving in Melbourne over the Easter weekend and staying with a friend while I search for a room. When I last lived in Melbourne I worked as a bar manager in the CBD, as well as starting an events consulting business that sees me working as a stage manager at various music festivals in Vic and around the country on the weekends. I love a good wine, beer and a nice meal at home as a group, but know of the need for space sometimes. I come with a car, no furniture (yet) and a passion for health and fitness after working in Sports nutrition retail through my degreee. I love cooking and will usually be found preparing my meals for the following day each evening, and not forgetting the washing up part! While I love the events and entertainment industries I am most definitely not a partier, on the rare occasion that I let my hair down the fun doesn't come home with me. I am ideally looking for a furnished room with a minimum queen sized bed, adequate storage space such as a wardrobe and space for a desk for my work desktop.
Engineer who has a rad job and wants to get settled back in Melbourne. Things I like: cycling, climbing, books, cheese and travel. Things I don't like: Inequality of any kind, falling down stairs, falling up stairs. Things I'm good at: Falling down stairs, falling up stairs, cooking, cycling and eating cheese. I'm respectful and kind, happy to share things and generally love life.
My name is Shadi Alexander and if you recognize me it's probably because I was on First Dates Australia for 3 different episodes but have given up pursuing a career in acting for something more stable. I work for one of the big 4 banks in the head office located in Melbourne CBD. That's why I am looking for a unit or town house preferably in the the inner CBD or inner northern suburbs but am very flexible. Happy to stay in the right place for 1 year and beyond. I've been living out of home for many years now and I think I'm pretty much the perfect house mate, not too boring but never in your way either and not intrusive at all. I am very neat and clean and I have lived in share houses before so I know the ins and outs. I am easy going and fun to be around but also responsible and respectful of others and their space too. Also I am quite busy during the week as you'd expect working two jobs but always make an effort for my housemates regardless of how busy life gets. If it sounds like we'd get along feel free to drop me a line.
Hey! I’m Hannah, 28 from the UK. Been here since September and love Melbourne! I’m a children’s social worker and relocating for a better commute. I love to cook, brunch and spend time with friends. I’m also into being kind to myself and keeping healthy :) I work full time so I’m out quite a lot, but when at home I’m sociable but also like my own space. I like a clean and tidy environment and like to pitch in, I'm conscientious to other’s feelings and routines. I’m open minded and relaxed about most things. I hope to find like-minded people and somewhere homely. I’m free to move from the 23rd April :) Look forward to hearing from you!
Hi there. I'm looking for a room in a share house in the City of Darebin. I am currently studying hospitality, and in my spare time play football, enjoy being creative, being outdoors, and spending time with friends. I am an honest, respectful, and considerate housemate. Kind Regards, Olivia
Hi, my name is Tamara. I moved to Melbourne around Christmas and currently living in Bundoora in the suburbs. I am from the UK but I grew up most of my life in the South of France. I am looking for something closer to the city with better transport options as I do not drive. I am a very clean and tidy person, I have a passion for cooking and I enjoy sports. I also love to go out and socialise and meet new people.
Hi there. My name is emma, I’m 28 and I have 2 part time jobs as a social worker & nanny as well as volunteering as a tutor. Im currently looking for a room in bundoora or surrounding suburbs, as that is where i work. I can also provide references to show that i have a great rental history and that I am a friendly, clean, reliable, respectful and easy going person to live with. The thing is that I also have a tiny puppy who is Maltese/ chihuahua and smaller than most cats haha. He is well behaved and he’s ridiculously cute, plus he would be sticking by me most of the time, and I can take him to work with me most days if need be as well... so he wouldn’t get in anyone’s way. And obviously i would always ensure that his presence in the house wouldn't cause any mess, or cause any disturbance or inconvenience to the other housemates. So with all of that said.. If you have a room for rent and your open to discussing it further, feel free to send me a message and we can go from there. Cheers, Emma :)
Hey there! I'm a clean and tidy, omnivorous, non-smoking, 27-year-old human geography/psychology student at La Trobe University. I love surfing, canyoning, playing guitar, bouldering, reading, swing dancing, coffee, exploring the world on my bicycle, and making fleeting (yet deep) relationships with dogs and cats on the streets. I’m looking for a calm, friendly, and respectful household. I like a good chat over coffee or the occasional shared meal, while also having quiet time to study, play guitar, or read a book. I like to have friends over occasionally for dinner/movies times, and I am not fazed by the occasional party or people coming and going. My strengths as a housemate are my ability to do dishes straight away; the coffee machine I come with; my positive outlook; and some great mum puns. If I sound like I could be a good fit for your share house feel free to shoot me a message :)
Looking for a room in a share house with a communal vibe. Ideally, a long term place in the Inner North for around $200. I am currently working part time and volunteering. Friendly, respectful and tidy!
Hi, We are a couple in our early thirties from the UK who are currently living in Sydney. I am a Drama teacher and Will works in advertising. We are moving to Melbourne for Will's job and are mega excited (I have always wanted to live there...) We left the last year to backpack around India, Nepal and South East Asia and are in a Australia to work. We love living with people and happy to have chats and a glass of wine or beer over dinner. We like cooking and sharing meals with housemates. We are respectful of communal spaces. I am vegetarian, we are plastic free and have been for 2 months and hope to continue to do this. We enjoy walking, camping, festivals,a night out dancing, reading, theatre.... I swim a lot and try and do yoga three times a week. We are both cyclists and would commute to work as well as cycle everywhere else. We are in Australia to travel but also to work. Will has a permanent one year contract so we would at least be here for a year. We are mega pet friendly and would love to live with a cat or dog! We have lived in a pretty big house in Sydney with an ensuite and lovely housemates. We are looking for a similar set up in Melbourne. People to go to the pub with or a weekend trip or to share stories. Contact us and show us your lovely homely house!

Originally from California, I'm currently a few months into the second year of my working holiday visa and plan to stay in Melbourne until my visa expires on 30/11/18. I’m moving out of my current house in Reservoir on May 8th, and my ideal new place would be in Northcote or a nearby suburb. A bit about me: I'm an inquisitive travel-addict whose mission is to experience as much of life as possible. My passions include the circus arts (specifically poi spinning) writing, festivals, and urban exploring, and I'm virtually always keen for an adventure. I derive my income from an assortment of side hustles, such as one-on-one poi lessons, teaching poi workshops at festivals, and bartending/serving at events. I'm paradoxically social and introverted - I love meeting and connecting with people, but it's also important for me to have time alone to recharge. As a housemate, I'm clean, quiet, respectful, and I always seek to make the place I'm living feel as much like a "home" as possible. The best way to gauge if we'd be a good fit is to meet in person, so let me know when I can stop by for a tour and a chat!
Hey I'm Roy, I'm a student at RMIT doing a double science degree. I'm pretty busy most of the time during the semester either working or studying, when I'm free I like to hang out with mates, jam about on instruments, watch films or play games. I'm pretty relaxed and I'm looking for somewhere that's kept clean and tidy with respectful flat mates.
