I am a fun-loving, friendly, outgoing, Irish 23 year old. I love to travel, see plays/theatre productions, go to poetry open mics, check out music festivals and cook some yummy vegan foods. I am clean and tidy and am a great housemate. I'm up for having the chats and chilling in the evenings to a good movie. I also love to check out the various street food markets and street festivals that Melbourne has to offer.
Actively looking for houses to join or team up in the listed areas and surrounding suburbs (not interested in Reservoir or Bundoora, sorry). Female, 27, work with kids. Friendly, House-trained, responsible. Like to chat over a cup of coffee or watch tv, but otherwise happy to do my own thing. After 12 years working and traveling around the world as an events manager and performing arts producer I'm about to embark on a new journey to start a new career in Chinese Medicine. I will begin my studies at RMIT in Bundoora in February. I'm a little scared but I'm mostly excited to start the next chapter. I'm very active, I love the outdoors, I love to travel and explore. I enjoy yoga, I prefer to cycle than drive and I spend many of my weekends skydiving. My life may look a little different next year but I will keep as much adventure in it as I can. I prefer to live with only one or two others and I enjoy keeping a reasonably tidy home. I love my own space and often crave alone time, but I also enjoy sharing stories over dinner and a wine and occasionally chatting into the early hours. I desperately want a backyard and a veggie garden. I don't have a pet, but I do love animals.

Hi there! I'm Cecile, I'm a 23 year-old graphic designer on a working holiday (determined to try and stay permanently!) in Melbourne. I'm mixed French/Japanese, and I speak too many languages for no reason at all. I love to draw and make zines, cook and bake, watching movies and tv shows *and* discussing movies and tv shows. I also love to walk around and I'm a big fan of hiking. I'm also a skilled op-shopper. I am looking for a place that's convenient and easy to access by public transport (I'm incapable of driving), as I plan to look for a job and I want to be able to get places without much hassle. I have preferences for a furnished place (a place that has at least a bed and a closet) since I can't carry any furniture with me from Europe. I like hanging out but I also like to do stuff on my own. I'm always careful to respect shared spaces and keep them clean. Somehow, cleaning is relaxing to me so you don't have to worry about this aspect! I don't I'm arriving in Melbourne on the 15th of February, I'm okay with both short term and long term deals! If all of this sounds good to you, then let's talk!

HEYYY!! I moved over to Melbourne from Perth only a few days ago, I'm starting a new degree at La Trobe in March so I'm looking for somewhere super cool to live in the North somewhere… I'm a 28 year old lady (yeahhh mature age student…my first degree was in media a million years ago) and certainly I'm looking to live with some cool housemates that will be up for chats and hangsies as I don't know too many people in Melbourne!! I work as an ESL teacher so will be doing that part time during the semester. Erm, I love such things as listening to the radio, checking out divey bars, drinking coffee allll the time, travelling everywhere, eating everything, dancing, drinking wine, meeting interesting people… etc etc. I'm a slight clean freak also!
Looking to move into a pre-existing share house or start a new one with some cool people. Hey guys, my name is Louise, I'm a 24 year old film student, photographer and musician, I also work part time as a barista. I've been living in share houses for many years now, so I'm completely housetrained, i.e. I know how to keep a place clean and be respectful of housemates and I'm looking to live with people who feel the same. I'm hoping to find somewhere in the northern suburbs (brunswick, northcote, fitzroy, thornbury etc). I'm into music, live gigs, art, food and going out with friends. If you'd like the sound of this post feel free to contact me on here and we can have a chat :).
Clean and tidy. Loves a clean kitchen(If you can't do your own dishes or clean up after yourself, maybe you should be back with your folks haha) Work 40 hours a week in Clifton Hill. Love animals, (Don't have one with me so don't worry) but due to work can probably get you free food for your pet. Enjoys Netflix, and a cold beer after a hard day. Travel to Japan once or twice a year, speaks fluent Japanese. Quite handy, so basic maintenance issue I can probably fix. Have a Car, so street parking or off street parking is required.
Hello, My name is Danish and we are a group of 4 people. We are all Indians and were on holidays for a month and one of our guy is still in Melbourne. We need a house or a place where we can have separate rooms. You can send me a WhatsApp text and my friend will contact you for inspection. Thanks
Pretty easy going music student that would love a garden and a bit of space to store my gear.. I can do the communal thing but am happy to do things solo. Ultimately my housemates are mature, respectful and take are aware of their domestic responsibilities.
I'm a very chill person, reliable and I respect other people's space. I'm very adaptable as well. I mind my own business and most of the time I'll be out and about, when I'm home I'll be relaxing doing the things I enjoy such as yoga, meditation, writing, reading and creative stuff. I've been living the gypsy life for a few months and now I'm looking for a bit more stability. Ideally I would like to live with someone with similar interests but I'm open to anything.
Hey everyone! My name's Doron, an American- born, Israeli- bred, 26-year-old law student looking for a furnished room in a flat/share-house during my exchange semester at Monash Uni. When: starting in February- ideally till august but down for a shorter sublet as well Where: around Fitzroy/Collingwood/st kilda but open to hearing about other neighbourhoods close by Budget: around $250 per week A bit about me-I'm a music lover (I produced a festival here in TLV) and like to spend most of my time and money at festivals, gigs, live sport, travelling, vintage clothing stores and restaurants likes: pretending I'm a phenomenal hip hop dancer, social media validation, puppies, and baked goods. dislikes- loud chewers, cats, and confronting my emotions. As a roommate- I'm easy-going, neat, sociable yet understanding/appreciative of personal space, and responsible yet impressively un-handy. Best, D
I am a respectful, tidy and friendly person. I work in community health in the CBD and am also a coach in Northcote. Outside of work, I'm quite a social person that enjoys friends, housemate and family time most nights, yet sometimes i'll head to bed early with a book or listen to music. I mostly read personal development, poetry and educational books of sorts. Other hobbies are cooking, gigs, cafés/writing, cycling the trails, playing the guitar. I grew up in Gippsland and am looking for a new home with friendly, active and open-minded people aged 22-40. Reach out if you would like to grab a coffee or find out more about me :)
Hey all! My name is Zal, I've just arrived back in Melbourne after doing a stint in Hobart for 6 months. I'm always up for a chat or a beer but respectful of your space. I'm clean. I love to cook and would love to for you whenever I can. In my spare time I like to read, write and go to gigs and festivals. Rarely in a foul mood, I'm chilled out and super easy to get along with :) Would love to find a place with a nice vibe, not just a house but a home where everyone are friends, not just living together in the same space.
Hello All, I am a 27 years old guy looking for a room close to the places I have listed, I am an easy going guy who loves to travel and make new friends, A bit shy at first but will get along very well once we get to know each other. I am working full time and in my spare time, I would be in the gym. I respect other's property and treat it as my own- like to keep it clean and tidy, I enjoy a night out every now and then and love having a few drinks after work or on the weekends. Cheers.
Friendly, down-to-earth, fairly witty (hopefully) and forever considerate. I'm from London and I love to write (aspiring screenwriter) but more so have a long chat and a good laugh and a hangout etc etc but don't worry am also a fan of the odd moment of personal space and respecting others around me. Do my dishes and never slam doors. Keen for a drink/ tea/ coffee and a dinner party or a Netflix evening, depends on the mood.
Hiya, I'm Thea, 30, female etc etc I've just moved to Melbourne from Perth and am looking for a room. I'm currently staying with my sister in St Kilda so I'm flexible with move-in dates. I've come to Melbourne to do a couple of courses- one is at the city campus of RMIT and the other is a floristry course which will run either in Collingwood or Port Melbourne depending on which one i choose.. I only got to Melbourne yesterday so I currently don't have employment but I have savings in preparation for doing this year of study. I will be looking for some casual work to fit in around my course. However given I'm not sure what my work situation will be yet I'm looking for somewhere with modest rent so about $230 a week max. I'd like to live somewhere within about 30 mins of the RMIT campus I don't know Melbourne very well so am open to looking at other locations. I was thinking Brunswick or somewhere round there perhaps. So, I'm 30, i'm not a party-ier if thats a word.. I'm looking for possibly a female house but I don't really mind. I'd prefer to live with people of a similar age, I would probably best get along with quiet nerdy people with a good dose of cynicism & a good sense of humour. I find extremely extroverted people a bit hard to deal with.. they drain my soul.. not on purpose I'm sure. I like time alone and having my own space but as a general rule I'm pretty chatty, funny, bit cynical, easy-going. I love british panel shows and David Mitchell is my spirit animal. That's enough rambling for now, many thanks, cheers for reading Thea
