I am a first year graduate civil engineer (working full time), relocating to Newcastle for 6 months in December. I am originally from the Gold Coast, but have been living in Brisbane for the last 6 years. I am a tidy and quiet housemate who is keen to relax and join in on any weekend trips and adventures. I have lived an awesome share house for the past 4 years and am hoping to find another one to move into!
I'm an engineer with Boeing working full time. I'm looking to team up with 1 or 2 people to get a decent place around Newcastle. I'm friendly but pretty quite as well. I like to get out an explore Newcastle as much as possible, always good to do it with new people.
I am a very tidy and clean housemate who respects personal space, although I enjoy socialising too. I'm studying a Bachelor of Arts at uni and I like to assist others with their study however I can. I am a little introverted and I don't party on the weekends, but I love boardgames and sharing food and having a few drinks with friends. I enjoy meeting new people, so feel free to contact me if we sound like the right couple to join you :)
So I'm 2nd year student at UoN and I also work 2 jobs. I'm pretty chilled, easy to get on with and happy to socialise (drinks optional) but will sometimes keep to myself. Always down to meet new people (and said people's pets if they own them aha). Not a clean freak but I do my part to make sure things a neat and reasonably tidy. I respect others space and privacy and would ask the same in return. Hoping to find some cool housemates and aim to move in December after I get back from Melbourne (11th). (Puppies not included sadly)
I'm very flexible and easy going, I ensure that I am kind to everyone and give every person I meet a fair chance and be kind to them. I enjoy spending time with others but respect boundaries and personal space. I try to avoid mess and generally am a tidy, respectable person hoping to study and make friends simultaneously.
Hi there. I am a neat and tidy uni student from UON. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design and I work in Wallsend, so somewhere in Wallsend/Birmingham Gardens/Shortland/Waratah West is ideal. I'm only looking to move once my current lease ends as there have been a few security issues at my current place. I am looking for either a large room or studio, preferably with a garage for my car. I don't need a furnished room as I do have furniture, but it's not a deterrent if you have a furnished room to offer. I enjoy cars, languages, creative writing, reading, music and travel. If you don't mind waiting until I can move in January/February, shoot me a message. :) - Marissa
Looking for accommodation for 12 months in Newcastle to complete a course whilst here. I'm on looking for work allowance and will be looking for full time work when I move. Im moving from Dubbo. I have a 7 year old son who will come and stay with me for half of the school holidays. I have a cockatiel which I wold like to bring also 😊 He is only small and stays in his cage but he is good for company whilst I'm away from home. I would like a furnished place if possible but not a huge thing 😊 A bit about myself. I'm a massive nerd and you will probably get bored with me talking about Harry Potter and Star Wars. I'm massively into Game of Thrones also. If I sound like a good fit, let me know 😊😊 Lou
I am sociable. I have a lot of interests e.g. music, games, fitness, TV and film. I keep my things clean and take responsibility for my stuff. Not loud and enjoy relaxing. I work full time so I appreciate quiet week nights but love a few drinks on the weekends
Myself and partner are looking for some temporary accomadation. Both work full time. Would like to arrange an inspection time for any suitable places in the Newcastle region
Hi, I am looking for an unfurnished room, preferably either near the Uni or the beach and town. I am 23 and looking for housemates in their early twenties. I am a very clean and tidy housemate. I respect others belongings and space, and always clean up after myself. I'm very friendly, and have been living in Newcastle for the past 8 months. I am studying architecture, and work in hospitality, and am originally from the Blue Mountains. I love to explore the Newcastle area, and enjoy socializing. I have been living in a share house, but my landlord want access to the house over the summer, so am looking for a new place. Thanks :)
Two UNSW postgraduates who are moving to UoN and we are looking for another student to live with. We are both very friendly and love a few glasses of wine but know when and how to give you space. If you are looking for a chill environment to live with two fun people (at least we think so!), who will respect your own study needs please let us know. We are so excited to meet you.
Hi i'm Michael, I am currently studying architecture at Newcastle uni. For work I dj on the weekends and also work for a major events company. I am easy going, reliable and would like to find a place with good vibes and good people.
I'm a Canadian exchange student studying Environmental Sciences and I love to be social, go hiking and camping! I'm looking to make the most of my exchange experience and be able to see ass much of Australia as I can.
I'm from a tropical weather country Malaysia, will be soon be studying in University of Newcastle. Looking for a single room in a shared house with white painted wall (as this will make the room brighter and easier for me to study). I love to travel and seeing nice natural scene.
I'm an absolute clean freak! I love to relax and i also love to party. Very easy going and am flexible with arrangements. I will be a full-time student studying Psychology at UON. I am very easy to get along with and have a spectacular sense of humour if I do say so myself! I also have an affinity with British TV shows. I'm from a small coastal town 4 hrs north of Sydney called Forster. I love to sing, play guitar and piano. I also love the beach and going out for meals/other stuff.
Quite and keep to myself, Non Smoker, Non Drinker, Like to tinker so would like somewhere with a shed you don't use much, to be honest would spend more time in the shed then the house if it has network because when not tinkering i am my computer doing stuff. Always Always Always Pay my bill on or before time, Usually prepay by direct debit fortnightly. Also have a Mini Foxy pooch so somewhere pet friendly would be great
I recently spent 6 months living in Japan, working part-time and using my spare time to explore cities, towns and hike the alps, before taking a 2-month road trip across Australia. Originally from Sydney, I'm a vegan who has a love of nature and wilderness, for food, music and art, and am enrolled in a Bachelor of Natural History Illustration at University of Newcastle. A quiet creative and not a big partier, love to cook.
I am financially independent, extremely responsible and definitely cleaner than the average Aussie male. I am going to be living in Newcastle for 2 years while completing my Masters degree. I'm happy to have a drink n chat n chill or to keep to myself if you prefer privacy. I love sport, particularly League, cricket and soccer. Also play golf and other sports. Enjoy movies & TV but don't like spending hours watching, more likely to play PS4 or just get out of the house to do something. I do a pretty good BBQ, can cook reasonably well and don't mind sharing housework duties. The main catch is that I am married, and my wife would be staying for a month or so in April and another month in October. I would be away for summer and winter uni holiday periods. During my wife's time with us I would pay extra utilities and of course continue to pay rent when away over the holidays.

Hi, We're a couple (25 and 30) with a well trained golden retriever, and our fur baby (cringe...sorry) must come with us. We're laid back and chill, but we also know how to clean and we are sociable but not loud. We're focused on doing well at work and uni and meeting some really cool people along the way. I'm from Newcastle, my husband is Mexican-American (California). He makes great tacos, enchiladas and nachos, and he's really into science (doing open foundation to get into diagnostic radiography) but used to work as a comedian (don't worry though, he's not annoying). I'm working part-time and thinking about finishing a grad dip in psychology. I love movies, laughing and anything creative...save subway artistry. We are looking for a room in a share house with an ensuite or a granny flat. If you feel like getting in touch, just give us a bell or send us an email : )
Hey hey. Unfortunately the house i'm currently living in is being sold. So it's time to move on go on another adventure! I'm very outgoing and friendly. Tidy and clean. Respectful of others space and privacy but also love to be social. Do enjoy having a sneaky drink on the weekend when i get time off(hospitality life). Currently working at a restaurant at Kotara. I'm a firm believer in taco/snitty nights! As a bonus i do have an NBN telstra account which i could switch over if you guys are after fast internet etc. It's ok if not.
Hi, I've just moved home from a working holiday in the UK And I need a room for myself and a yard for my 3yr old Australian Cattle dog. I'm clean and tidy and have and easy going personality. My dog is social and friendly. In free time I'm usually up the dog beach, doing lunch and coffee with friends and family. I'm a school teacher so I keep quiet during the week and keep busy on the weekend. Looking for someone who is friendly and tidy.
I'm friendly and easy going, very clean and tidy, looking for somewhere to stay after I sell my house. I am moving into a unit in November 2017, so will need somewhere from about January to November 2017. I have a dog (10 years).
I'm an international student from England so I can teach you weird slang and let you imitate my accent. I'm pretty tidy and easy to live with and I'm also fun and open to new experiences!
I have a full time job in bar work. I am reliable and dependable. I can provide references as I have lived in a previous share house. My fourteen month old Kelpie is a beautiful and loving dog who will practically claim anyone after an hour of knowing them. I am a confident, easy going and bubbly girl. I also have my own car so I am able to transport myself from place to place. I'm always keen for new experiences and love meeting new people. I completely understand the importance of living in a tidy environment, however also understand how unacceptable intrusive behaviour is. Available to move in immediately.
I love sharing with others and having a laugh. I am an kind, organic loving, community spirit with a somewhat sensible practical side and a love of bikes and bike touring, the outdoors, camping, vegan paleo and wheat free cooking, although I am not vegan. I am planning on studying at Newcastle next year and I am a member of NUSEC and other cool stuff at uni. I am a sydney/ cambridge girl so I am bit conservative in some ways and I can be a bit reclusive at times, as I enjoy reading a great deal. I like quiet nights and treat my home as a sanctuary when I am not away travelling. I like an occassional glass of wine with dinner and an occassional party but I am not a party animal and I am non smoker. I love animals and also enjoy the company of children too. I am responsible fun loving adult very eco conscious and health orientated. I am a member owner of the Beanstalk Organic Food Coop on Church street and an pro-active newcastle community member and a social media junki. I manage a local online social media green guide so I know all there is to know about local green iniatitives and food. I am on the organising committee for next years Students of Sustainability which was won by a dance off this year by the Melbourne University team on behalf of the Newcastle University crew enabling sustainability and supporting local indigenous leaders and culture. I am a bit of geek and I love klezmer!
I am currently working as a Permanent Part-Time Industrial Chemist, but that will reduce down to regular Part Time employment when the university term begins again next year. That said, I study full time with a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) (Psychology), but will most likely be swapping my Psychology major for Biology. I am laid back and easy going. I don't really have much spare time, but I have recently been getting into the gym and going out for drinks with friends.
I like movies but not to scary, bit of a night owl but very quiet. I'm tidy but not a neat freak.I like to socialise a little bit. But I'm not a big party person. I love to read and explore. I can cook a few things and willing to learn more. Never missed a rent payment. I also love to mow lawns. I'm weird like that :) Happy to do chores and my dog is very well trained and never makes a mess. I just got a job in nsw and need somewhere to live.
Hi guys my names Will I'm 24 from the GoldCoast looking for a room to rent early in the new year. I'm new to the area down here working on the RAAF base, when I'm not working I'm at the gym or exploring somewhere new. Always up for a good time and a laugh ✌🏽️
ABOUT ME: Names Kelepi, currently living with my mother. Everyone can understand the no privacy act you did not sign up for when living at home. Needing to get out so looking to relocate more closer to town, as Maitland is a bit of mission for me. Yes I cook, clean, and whatever else a human should be doing when living on this earth. Cheers
I am full-time working electrician, clean, social, non smoker. I am very laidback and get on with most people. I can equally enjoy hanging out or keeping to myself. I have a staffy who is an inside/ outside dog. I am an active person and love getting outside and exercising most days.
I'm a registered nurse who recently moved back to Newcastle from interstate. I'm looking for either a granny flat or a place to share with no more than one other person. I also have a cat who is happy to stay outdoors most of the time
Heya, I'm a full-time working dad (Monday-Friday for the government) to a quiet and polite 9 year old gal. My daughter is with me 6 nights a fortnight so I'm essentially looking for two rooms, open to all options but a team-up would be cool (obviously in a 3 bedroom house you would be paying less but only sharing with 1.5 humans :)) - I already have wifi which is movable. I have two cats too who are quite friendly and are litter trained. Other than that I'm pretty chill, like a wine, the beach (am there a lot in summer), reading, and binge watching the odd tv series. I eat fairly healthy and don't mind what kind of diets people have. Only my room and car are messy - so you wouldn't be living with a slob :) I do smoke casually but always outside and it's pretty irregular.
I'm a pretty chilled guy, tidy and clean. Looking to move out of home, doesn't particularly matter where. I feel like I'm fairly fun, and would be easy to live with. Not fussed on when either, but sooner rather than later.
Hi I'm from Singapore heading to UoN to study medicine. I'm a little reserved to begin with but once I'm comfortable with you I can be great fun! I'm a pretty active person, I love the outdoors and going for hikes and I enjoy playing football and rugby!
Full-time student studying psychology and working part-time. Looking for a place around town or closer to the university. Easy going and laid back, interested, in sports, going to the gym, cooking, going out, and making friends.
Hi, I am a teacher looking to team up with another 30-40 yr old female in a new house. I don't really have a preferred location in mind, so I am open to options. It's more about 'who' rather than 'where' at this stage. I am an energetic person who enjoys yoga, meditation, reading and spending time with like minded people. Don't go out much anymore, I'd much rather dinner, a few quiet drinks and good conversation. I have some furniture, but I have recently given a heap away so I travel light! I am a clean and tidy person, who enjoys cooking for more people than just myself. I have the world's friendliest cat, who will demand little more than cuddles and scratches. I can move at any time, so if you're interested in teaming up, send a message!
Scottish, male, professional engineer, I'm not ginger but the cat is. Non smoking, mountain biking, bush walking, camping, snowboarding are my activities. Don't really watch any sort of ball sports, or racing, but don't disapprove if you do; Nobody's perfect. Need. A flat mate who doesn't mind feeding the cat when I'm travelling which isn't too often these days. House/ room must have air con, garden for the cat, and secure storage. Cheers.
