I'm a 28 year old professional guy who just moved from NZ. Looking for some awesome and interesting people to flat with. I'm a mixture of being outgoing but can also appreciate some down time. I like a place that tidy so looking for flat mates who can appreciate the same :)
Hi guys! I am originally from the UK and have been in Australia for 4 years so far.I am super friendly and like to have fun! I would say I am fun to be around and love to have a laugh. I am tidy and very respectful especially with other peoples property! I enjoy healthy eating, going to the gym and just being out! I do not have pets (although i love them) and am a none smoker.
I'm a professional and studying at uni part-time so I am very busy and only at home during the evenings. I'm currently in an awesome share at Clayfield but sadly this is only until the end of November 2017, so I am looking for a female flatmate of similar age (i.e. strong preference for 25+ years old) who I could potentially share with long-term. I don't have parties or regular visitors, don't drink or smoke, and respect the privacy of those I live with. I'm very fitness-minded so I'm up early and go to bed early, so I don't keep anyone up at night too. If you are looking for a quiet, tidy, mature and reliable flatmate who values a relaxed and peaceful household and you are offering a flexible period of up to 6 months to 1 year to stay in a furnished room (preferably with own bathroom) then please don't hesitate to contact me. (Please note: I am currently not looking to sign on to a lease/take over a lease, apologies.) Looking forward to hearing from you - please feel free to ask any questions if you'd like to know more! Update: I have been getting a lot of offers from people in outer suburbs - I appreciate the offer but unless you are in my list of suburbs or very close by please do not contact me as I cannot do long commutes to work and uni. Thanks for your understanding.
I am an easy going guy currently studying a business degree and working casually. I do spend quite a bit of time by myself either studying or gaming/movies I am still sociable and happy to have a drink or two. I have a 4 yr old son as well who stays with me on my days off (usually the weekend). He is a cheeky but very sweet little man and my number one priority. Obviously I am looking for a place where my housemates are ok with having a child in the house for a couple of days a week. Other than this I am a clean and tidy person who absolutely loves cooking and trying out new recipes.
I am clean. I'm very respectful. I'm easy going and laid back. In my spare time I like to go to gym or see my family. I hardly go out and party I more prefer a quiet weekend. Probably the best house mate you'll meet
Young professional currently working full-time. Looking for new listing due to current lease finishing up on the 9th of Jan and wanting to make a change of environment. Looking to move during Xmas time (or just before) as I am having a mini holiday in Sydney in the first week on Jan. Enjoy photography, basketball and spending much time in front of the computer, pretty chill and respectful to other people's personal space.
I'm clean, not mean and unfortunately don't have a washing machine. I work and sometimes pew pew on my computer like a nerd boss! I can be social on the one hand, then respect privacy and enjoy my own alone time on the other (best of both worlds). I have no pets (though I really love cats) and pay my bill on time with Rainman like punctuality. Very open guy, I take things in my stride and can give a quality hug if needed. I'm a vegetarian, but don't hold that against me :P The one thing I need is my own bathroom and NBN would make me a happy panda. Hope to hear from my new housemates soon :)
Hey All Recently moved back to Brisbane from Melbourne and, looking for a place to call home, either in an established residence, or to start fresh with a future Roomie. About me- Gay guy, I have just relocated back to Brisbane with my job after being in Melbourne for a short while. I work for a global insurance company in Brisbane CBD, so to live close to work would be ideal. I work your typical Monday- Friday 9-5 Job. During the week i pretty much go to work and chill out after work or go out to have dinner with friend etc. Weekends are pretty much family for me, and seeing friends, going out for many meals and what ever your typical 29 year old does. How ever i am not much of a party animal , though i do like a nice glass of wine or 3. Looking for a place to live with someone that is down to earth, Clean ,respectful. Hope to hear from some of you soon. Cheers
I am very tidy. Pride myself on keeping the living area and shared areas (including bathroom and toilet) clean. I am pretty busy with work. My days off tend to be during the week. So am rarely home on weekends. Do forget to take the clothes out of the washing machine occasionally if i had to say a flaw.
Hi, I probably won’t be ready to move until the New Year as I need to save for bond (if you have bond money already or we go halves this helps the time frame). I was approved at the beggining of the year for the National Affordability Rental Scheme Program so this means we would pay around 20% less than normal. Just have to find a place that is NARS approved. From my research there are places around $550 per week all together for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 car park, fully furnished, resort style apartment in Bowen Hills (with onsite pool and gym included). It is less $$ for 1 parking spot also - I need a parking spot but if you don’t that’s fine we either get a place with only 1 or rent the other 1 out to make the rent cheaper). Given I am the NARS approved person this would mean that I would have to go on the lease (I think) and you and I would have a seperate, private written rental agreement. If we can both go on the lease I am happy to do this. Please read this fully before contacting me as I am looking for quite a specific person to share with. I can move into an existing place or we can team up and get a place together as long as it is fully furnished and everything meets the below requirements. I would also like to meet or chat on skype before hand to make sure we click. I am easy to get along with but am seeking a fairly specific lifestyle currently. Please indicate you have read this all by using the code word written somewhere below. Ok, so I am clean, organised and tidy without being obsessive. I am respectful and friendly and always pay bills on time, usually within a week of recieving them. You would need to be the same. I am happy to socialise regulary but also need my own down time and space so respecting each others privacy is needed. Small outside pets are fine if I was to move into an existing place but smokers are not ok at all. I am wanting to share with a conscious person (bonus if you are also spiritual) who enjoys yoga, gym, meditation, hiking and cooking healthy food utilising organic produce as much as possible and would be keen to do these things together regulary and keep each other accountable and motivated. If you don’t meditate but fit everything else that’s fine. I am not vegatarian but am looking to lessen my meat consumption and learn how to cook vegatarian style and asian food better. Also love wild caught seafood. I would love a housemate who would be keen to either cook together regulary or work out an alternative system, helping cut food costs. We could either have fun experimenting together and learning from each other or enjoy every 2nd night or so off from cooking by sharing the responsibility. This part isn’t essential but just a fun idea. Healthy eating only is a must though as I generally do not keep soft drink and junk food in the house so the temptation to consume it is not there and you would need to be the same. I work in education and mental health, study psychology and am starting my own community enterprise business in the wellbeing/happiness industry. I am an avid world traveller looking to move away from the party scene so would like to share with people who do not consume a lot of alcohol. The odd quiet drink is ok - I do enjoy having dinner parties (think “Come Dine With Me”) with a few glasses of wine or cidar but like maximum once a month or every 2 months would be the ideal. If you drink every night or more than once a week I do not wish to share with you as this is what I am looking to get away from. I would like a place in close proximatey to a gym and yoga studio as well as a local fruit and veg market, chinese and indian grocery stores would also be a great bonus, as close to the city as possible but with easy access to major highways at the same time as I work mostly in Marsden. Please use the code word yogi so I know you have read this. I am getting alot of messages so will only reply to those who use the code word. I’ve just returned from a round the world trip and my focus is on getting fit and trim again, eating healthy unprocessed food and working on developing my business goals. I am pretty flexible with my moving date as I am just crashing at my fathers apartment on Bribie Island currently (long commute to my work in Marsden). I need a furnished place as I have just attained European dual citizenship and most probably will be moving overseas in 12 - 18 months. I am looking around the CBD area as I also do contract work running mindfulness classes on the north side so smack bang in the middle between both work locations is my ideal. Anywhere from Lutwyche to Woolloongabba I am thinking would be suitable. Most NARS places seem to be in Bowen Hills and Fortitude Valley though which suits me.
We are respectful, quiet and mostly keep to ourselves. We clean up after ourselves and are a functional couple who both work part time, looking for full time. We dont mind occasional chats; we are fairly introverted, but we are friendly and easy to get along with. We have a year old cat named Tobias, and he's treated as a very loved member of our budding family. Well behaved, desexed, toilet trained and a playful sweet heart, he's sure to not cause a fuss. He doesn't stray from the house and prefers indoors, sticking to the yard when he does go to sunbathe. He comes in at nights and is allowed freedom in the mornings. He loves his towers, ball games and cuddles; he doesnt scratch up curtains and fly screens as I've trained him to know better. I work at Carseldine Centre, and Sanara works in Banyo and we will be moving from Brighton. We enjoy reading, xbox and online gaming, music, movies, and regularly seeing the people we love, though we are usually homebodies. Sanara smokes, but outdoor. We do our best to be considerate of our housemates and neighbours, and we are fairly upfront and easy going. Feel free to ask any questions :) We look forward to hearing from you.
Hello! I'm a 23 year old student from Belgium, looking for a place to live while I'll be doing an internship in Virgnia. I'll be arriving in Australia around the 3rd of February 2018. At home i spend most of my free time playing hockey, walking my dog and hanging out with friends. Feel free to message me with any questions you might have. :)
I’m relocting from a small rural town 3 hours out of Brisbane. This will be my second year living out of home and hoping to find a homely house rather than appartment. I’m studying a bachelor of justice/ law at qut and very dedicated to my study. I am neat and tidy, and always respectful. Always up for a chat and watch movies as well as have my own time. Not a huge partier but love spending time with quality friends. Huge dog lover and foodie!
I am a Professionals Business Analyst for an Australian Wide company and have just transferred from Townsville to develop our Brisbane office. I have moved with my super cool 2 year old daughter, Indy Rose. We are a very busy pair, out of the house from 6am - 6pm daily. I do love to indulge in a little wine and cheese on weekends. We are very tidy and easy going.
I'm an easy going person who is always down for a good chat. I enjoy being in nature, being in the company of like-minded people, creativity and spirituality. I function well in an environment that is clean and tidy and I always like to ensure I have routine and structure in my daily planning.
Hi there! I'm a young man from Denmark on a Working Holiday Visa currently in Brisbane where I work as a bartender. I'm looking for a very simple place to live for an affordable rent, preferably with my own room. I'm a non-smoker, don't party (I do like a drink, but nothing crazy), and get along with all persons of different ethnicity and religion. I'm looking to stay in Brisbane for another 6 months before I return to Denmark to resume my studies. Hope to hear from you! Best regards, Jais
I work full time as a hairdresser in Portside, Hamilton. Like my own space but would love to have a few vinos at the weekend with my new house mate. I have a doggie too so anyone looking to team up or share needs to be a dog lover, she is my little fur child and is a lot of fun. I really enjoying cooking healthy, scrumy dinners and eating lots of cheese along with my wine 😀 I'd love to find another female to share with who's on the same page as me... working full time, wants a nice place to live, respects our own space but maybe hang out every now and again. I'll cook you dinner on my days off 😏 and binge on Netflix. I will always pay rent on time and keep the place clean and tidy... but not a control freak about it either. Like I said before I love about wine... but I do not want to live in a party house either. IL be available to move in on the 21 Jan.
My partner and I have just moved to Brisbane and are looking for a furnished room/place for rent. We are both active people, clean and easy to get along with. I am Canadian and she is Australian. She is working in the mines so she is only around 50% of the time.
