Recently moved from Adelaide. Working in traffic control and also going to be studying from July. Friendly, neat and tidy. Enjoy meeting new people and socialising also just binge watching tv shows and eating food. Need to move by middle of march, looking for something 6 months +, longer the better :-)
Looking for a last minute place to stay for a week or two! Anybody that can help me? Thanks in advance! Emily
I'm an outgoing person who's been bitten by the travel bug and has somewhat developed into a social butterfly as well. I'm a postgraduate student taking up communications. I'm very easy to socialize with a cup of coffee (Melbourne has the best so far!) or a glass wine (Australian Shiraz is my go to). With postgraduate studies coming up, I may be very into it so I do respect everyone's privacy as well. I'm very neat and tidy, clean as I go kind of person as I like keeping things organized. I'm adventurous and eager to try new things may it involve different fitness activities like yoga or circuit training, or mind boggling stuff like board games. I love pets! Even if I don't have one of my own but still adore them a lot. Have had dogs and cats before. Looking forward to meet new flatmates who can show me around my new second home.
Hi there, I am Peter, a 34 year old Melbournian looking for a place to stay long term. Having shared flats in the past, I would like to share again to have a good space to rest after work or the outdoors - and to enjoy the company of mates for a late brekkie or with a good glass of red at night. I am happy to share with guys or girls having done so before. Currently I am working full time as an analyst in the CBD - and otherwise love surfing, the outdoors and salsa. I do not smoke and I am used to cleaning regularly, sharing fridges and the kitchen and to respecting each others private space - and friends tend to say I am fairly easy going and pleasant to be around. If you think this sounds like the flat mate you’re looking for, I’d love to come by to get to know each other and find out more about the details. Cheers, Peter
Motivated, clean, outgoing, I have my own handy man business in Canberra so I can fix anything :) I am studying for my business licence after work hours and am looking to relocate to Melbourne and grow my business there :) Oh and I would like my own bathroom if possible :)
Work in media/digital and i know how to clean up after myself and not be a slob, i guess that makes me easy to live with. Work with dogs pretty regularly, which is fun as hell. Video games/computers, rpgs and other nerdy crap. Music events and DJ/VJ stuff.
Hi! I'm looking for an accommodation from March 12 and I would like to stay for a month if it is possible. I'm a 18 years old French girl, currently on a working holiday visa. I know that 18 seems young but I'm often told that I'm more mature than people that are my age. I've just left highschool last July and I wanted to take a gap year in order to travel so I can get to know more about myself, get out of my comfort zone and to grow up. I'm actually working as a fundraiser, from 7am to 6pm generally. I only work on week days and during the weekends I either rest or go out with friends. I would describe myself as someone extremely respectful and open minded. I'm also such a friendly and kind person, and I'm very clean and tidy. My main hobbies are photography, art and travelling. I also love to cook but unfortunately I don't have free time and the energy anymore to cook because my job makes my exhausted. However, I'm such a sociable person so I'm always up for a chat with my flatmates, I'm very easy going and would love share a bottle of wine with you! Don't worry, I'm also able to respect the privacy of my my flatmates. Let me know if you are ok to arrange an inspection so we can also meet each other. I look forward to hear from you, Cheers, Myrina
A friendly Indonesian lady, searching for a room or shared room. Prefer an all ladies' flat. I am an easy going person, love making friends, while still respecting others' privacy. I don't drink and smoke. My kind of party is a nice brunch and a good cup of coffee. Will be arriving Melbourne on 31 March. If you like what you read, do drop me a message! Cheers!
Hey, I’m Jake. I’m 22 and Moving to Melbourne from Adelaide in March to work a full time finance job in the city. I’m looking to either find an established share house or start a new place with 1 or 2 lovely people around the same age. I’m like to think I'm pretty easy-going and promise to not annoy you too much. I always appreciate some down time during the week to relax with a decent movie, indulge in a solid TV binge or chill with some good music, but I'm equally looking for people willing to share a few laughs, a couple of drinks and some nice food from time to time. I’m respectful and I like to think I'm pretty clean and tidy (without being a freak). If I sound like someone you could put up with, feel free to drop me a message!
Hi everyone!! I am an Italian student who's going to study Design at Monash Uni - Caulfield Campus for the 1st semester. I'm really respectful, clean and tidy and I do respect privacy. I had been working as an aupair in Sydney for 6 months so I do not mind cleaning or cooking for my flatmates. I am a really outgoing and openminded person: I like to socialize, have fun, go out for a drink or for a live concert. I love any field of art and I am always excited for organizing trips during the weekend. Although I am still focused on studying, I really want to take the chance to explore Melbourne. I would like to personally see the place before paying deposit. I'll be in Melbourne from the 13th of Feb so we can arrange an inspection!
Easy going sorta guy, get along with most people. Clean, stable pay (working full time as a mechanic) and always up to date with bills and such. Always down for a good chat, whether its with a drink or just in general, partys every now and then never go astray. Love to talk about a wide range of things. Ready to move into a place ASAP. Sociable sometimes but also sometimes keep to myself if i need to do something or just in general time to time. Doesnt bother me whether you have a pet or not. Trustworthy when it comes to pay and cleaning aswell. Spare time I usually fill with movies, chats and cars.
I'm a Kiwi who's been in Melbourne for the last 18 months and loving it! I like all the usual stuff like hanging out with friends, shopping, working out etc. I'm really hoping to find a place where I can hangout with my room mates rather than live in awkward silence :)
Hey! I'm Sophie, I'm looking for a home not just a place to crash. I've lived in share houses since I was 20 so I know the rules/respect/expectations of them. I'm your average run of the mil 29 year old human, love a beer, stan marathons, catching up with mates, appreciation of good food. I'm studying Nursing full time at Holmesglen - Moorabin as well as working casually. I'm passionate, social, love a good chat, I'll call a spade a spade, but also love some down time. I come as a package deal with my black pug bruno. His fat, sleeps a lot, snores, excitable and has a lot of love to give. I'm currently commuting from gippsland..please help! Hope to hear from some legends soon, Cheers!
I'm currently moving on from my house in Malvern East, which I live in with Uni mates, and am looking for somewhere to live nearby. I'm 21, studying full time at Monash and working part time. I moved up to live at Monash in 2014, living in the Halls/colleges during semester and share houses over the summer break. Have had plenty of experience living with a diverse bunch of people over the last 3 years, which has been great... I surf; I ride a bike; I'm doing an internship at a start-up; I try and read a fair bit; I binge Netflix, namely,House of Cards; I am sociable; on the odd weekend I'll cook up a feast; I am laid back; and I enjoy an occasional beverage. Pretty. Standard. Stuff. Please by all means get in touch.I am also open to sending the details of 'referees' (a mix of former landlords and housemates) your way too if you'd like.
Hi there House-shared for a few years now and can vouch that I am (actually) neat, clean and tidy as well as respectful of my housemates and their personal space! Chats with a wine in hand or a house movie night are always appreciated. I like to come "home" at the end of the day and not to a place where people hermit in their bedrooms. My hobbies including forcing myself to the gym a couple of times a week before work and maybe a yoga class one night. I like to ruin it all/balance it with taking advantage of the melbourne restaurant and bar scene. I'll be away a fair few weekends in winter enjoying the snow. Originally from Perth, lived here 3 years in May.
I love trying out new things, impromptu stuff are always fun, i love my own company meaning i will not be in your face all the times. I know how to mind my business
I am a respectful, clean and tidy individual from the UK, looking to stay in Melbourne for at least a few months. I am fun, sociable and out-going but can keep to myself when necessary and would prefer living with females but I'm open to living with males too.
Hi, I'm Stephen I have a five year old boxer dog, that is a high priority for me so the house mate that I'm looking for has to be an animal person. I like to make my house a home, I'm a very clean and organised person. I work full time, and enjoy keeping myself fit going to the gym regularly, at night I like to wind down and get ready for the following day, I enjoy cooking, the occasional glass of wine, and I'm not a big all night party person. I don't have a preferred flat mate, and it doesn't bother me if you have children or pets, the main priority is someone with respect and a person that wants a nice home. Happy to slide into the right place, or set up something. Not in a rush to find anything but if the right option arises, can make things move quickly. If you think we could work let's catch up for a coffee, open to locations and price, prefer inner city, always lived inner south east.
I am super clean, organised and easy going, I am working full-time and this keeps me Super busy. I would love to live with easy going and clean people and socialise sometimes if they are free. I am looking for a place for a long-term stay preferably a year. I am planning to move out from my lovely flat because of saving time and to get to work easier. please let me know if you have anything to offer for me. Cheers, Alex
We are an extremely friendly couple (plus one kitten) who are desperately looking for somewhere to live for the next month. We were supposed to be moving on to another place, but the plans fell through at the last minute and now we are looking at two options: living 2 hours away and losing our jobs while not being able to attend uni, or looking for another place in the city for the next month. Potential roommates are myself (Mia) and Hamish. I am a 22-year-old Politics student who works in Mexican fast food part-time (so I can always bring home some dope burritos and whatnot). Hamish is a 22-year-old Politics student who works in a bottle shop and does stand-up comedy the rest of the time. Our little kitten Muse (5 months) is low-key, quiet and mainly just sleeps all day, occasionally being playful. Please help us if you can! We're really nice people!
We are 3 British girls who are wanting to settle for a few months to work in Melbourne. We are all clean, tidy and respectful and looking for a nice place to stay within budget. We all met in Australia, we all like to eat out, shop and keep fit. x
Hello there! I'm Camilo a makeup artist and graphic designer from Canada. I've been living in Australia with my fiancée for 3 years now and I'm returning to Melbourne working as a MUA in the CBD. I'm a very social person, responsible with rent and chores, and an easygoing personality. My leisure time is usually taken up by video games and board games with friends, wine and movies, and jokes on the internet. Im moving on my own but hope to have my partner come visit from time to time until he can move to Melbourne as well so LGBT friendly is a must. I love animals so if you have pets ill be in heaven.
What'd up fellow Melbournians ✌. My name is Tom or Thomas whichever you prefer. I've recently moved to the lovely, lively, fun, exciting, restless city of Melbourne in March last year (approx. 11 months ago). I am a graduate of a double in construction management and economics with honours from UNISA (Adelaide) and have recently landed myself a full-time (8am-5pm Mon-Fri) Assistant Project Manager gig in Hawthorn East. I have been living with 2 female housemates in Hawthorn, Victoria for 11 months now. But alas it is time for me to move onto somewhere new. I'm a kind, friendly, sociable, active, out going, easy to get along with, respectful, caring dude who works full time, plays volleyball and likes to ride his fixie whenever possible. I am clean and don't like mess or clutter. I don't smoke but don't mind if you do. I am very hospitable and flexible/considerate of others whenever possible. I am happy to do house dinners if that's your thing. I tend to lead a busy life with F/T work and sporting commitments so cook for myself most nights. I will most likely be out and about from Friday onwards and home during weeknights. I am always good for rent and expenses and have never missed a payment. I am currently paying $210/week, $912/month in rent alone (not including bills, water, gas, electricity etc). And am NOT on the lease or bond authority, so can move quickly (but am more than happy to provide proof of past rent, bond and expenses payments etc). What I'm looking for: - An Unfurnished Room - Budget of around $210/week - Need to move out at the end of March. - **Parking is a must** - Somewhere close to the city and my work (Hawthorn East). - One, two, three or four bedroom houses/apartments or a grannyflat. - I do not require a nice view. - I'm pet friendly and LGBT is fine too. If you have any questions please let me know via PM 😊. Thanks!

Hello world! I am a 23 yo language graduate from Wales but also used to live in Italy. I speak French and Italian and understand Spanish :) My hobbies include: long boarding, playing the ukulele, exploring, reading, chilling with friends, cooking and eating, finding cute animals. photography, discussing conspiracy theories and listening to thunderstorms on Youtube. I have done the whole Uni experience and am not looking for a party house, that said I do want to get to know you! Moreee than happy to chat over a beer or red wine (cab merlot) after work! As a housemate I am sociable but also respectful of alone time, patient, open minded, tidy and helpful! I love animals so if you have a pet that is most definitely not a problem. If I get my machine shipped over I can make hand made pasta, I will always be ready to make you some goooood espresso! I have a wonderful girlfriend so I would like for her to visit sometimes on weekends but to be honest we mostly go to hers anyway! I look forward to meeting some new people and having a bit of cultural exchange, however I was recently told that I make the best fairybread ever, controversial I know! Ciao!!

Hey there! I'm Erin, I'm 29 and I'm looking for a new place to call home. I'm employed full time, working as the Design Manager for Marshall White Real Estate. I'm a yoga addict, but when I'm not at work or in the studio I spend most nights out exploring Melbourne's incredible food scene or trying a new class or workout. I love nature, the beach, festivals, breakfast adventures, dogs, sunshine, yoga and a good cup of coffee. I also love exploring Melbourne by bike and travelling the world. I'm looking to move in with some relaxed, positive and respectful housemates that have their own thing going on but don't mind a catch up over a glass of wine, a movie or a house dinner. Although I do like going out from time to time, I'm not looking for a party house, but rather a clean and tidy place to kick back and unwind after a busy day. I'm an open minded, big hearted, glass half full kinda person and it is essential that you are the same!
So I decided I will buy food today. So I when to the supermarket (Woolworths) and was thinking umm spaghetti on toast even though it's gonna take 7 minuets to choose. 7 minuets you say! Well yes you have to shake the can and if it makes just the right amount of sound then ohh it's a good one if not then it's just this whole congealed mess of what once was a fine product. If feel sorry for the post apocalyptic generation cos they might never know the joy of selecting the perfect can all their cans are gonna be quite quiet I would imagine, but I digress so selected a few more items all staples mind you bread, 20 pack of iceypoles, frozen lasagna, home brand orange and mango fruit drink and the fore mentioned spaghetti (2cans 6 minutes work.....worth it). And get home have 2 glasses of orange and mango fruit drink and appetite utterly destroyed. Lucky they are all staples. Oh oh and a potato yep I bought a potato one of those pink ones. I usually get the dirt covered ones you know to get that real hunter gatherer sort of felling but on this occasion the were all quite miniature in size come to think of it they were probably kiffler potatoes which don't get me wrong kiffler potatoes done correctly are magnificent but I was thinking more of a baked potato kind of thing.....
Hi! I'm looking for a new home close to the city - filled with people that are very clean, healthy, loving and inspiring. I'm an organised, healthy and ambitious person, but wow do I balance that out with a great sense of humour, love of fun and being a big ol’ ball of geek! I love heading out on adventures, dancing and doing active outdoorsy things but equally value time chilling at home, creating cool stuff or just hanging out. I'm a generally easy going person but i've lived in share houses long enough to know what i like and i'm honest about what I want so read on :) My type of share house is one in which everyone can easily use the space as their own. Meaning shared spaces in particular are always left in an extremely clean and functional-for-everyone state and general cleaning/upkeep tasks are shared and done every few weeks. I like to uphold a relaxed/friendly/supportive/respectful/loving/fun vibe in the house and being really honest and open with communication. Other things you should know: - Housemates are all the best parts of family and friends for me. I genuinely care about the people i live with and the space around me so I expect a similarly high level of respect and initiative back. - Looking for rent $120 or less a week - Location wise within 20 minutes public transport access to chapel st/richmond/city is a must. - I need quite a bit of freezer and pantry space because i do monthly meal preps! - I own a beautiful big antique mirror and it would be epic to use this somewhere! - I like a generally peaceful, comfortable, very clean and functional living environment - Cleaning with low fragrance/ low chemical products (vinegar/bicarb/natural sprays). Strong smelling stuff causes my body all sorts of issues so I try to keep that to a minimum and ask that people i live with respect that. - I have a car so space or street parking is a factor If you've read this far and are still curious, wewww get in touch! You're probably what i'm looking for! Shoot me a message and let's find out for sure! *Bonus points if you’re into entrepreneurship and the creative and tech industries.
I'm a musician and yoga instructor from Canada who arrived in Australia at the beginning of February. I love dogs, the great outdoors, and this wonderful country. Looking for a furnished place with positive, like minded people. If you have a piano and or dogs, you have five stars in my book!
hello... My names Lesh. I am a 25 year guy that works full time. I love staying active and getting out the house. So not home too much, but when I am I love to have a beer and a laugh. Usually down the surf coast, surfing. I'm looking at moving into a new place form the 31st March!
Originally from London and am half British/French, but have lived in Melbourne for nearly 3 years. Work in medicine, but fortunately have an easy going Monday to Friday 9 -5, so no unsociable hours. I used to be a Personal Trainer before I got into medicine, so like exercising, healthy eating and living but don't take things too seriously and enjoy a good meal out and a few drinks. I'm clean, tidy, non-smoking, considerate and very happy go lucky. Most weekends I go surfing and have a fairly active social life, but like to come home and relax in a quiet, chilled atmosphere. I'm just as easy to a enjoy an evening with my housemate, having a chat over some wine and Netflix, but also respect them and their space and let them do what what's good for them. Just looking for some chill, clean, easy going people who aged 21- 36 who are looking to move into a place mid April.
Hi there! I am Matiss, a post-graduate exchange student from Latvia at the University of Monash for 1 semester (till July), and I am looking for a private room to lay my head in peace while I am not at the university. It would be awesome to have 2 - 8 people to share the household ( preferably mixed-gender ). So there is always something going on and chat to. Sometimes I would need to charge up my energy by my own. So it would be great if (flat)housemates would tolerate the need of private time & space :) A little about myself : * sporty: been playing tennis for 15+ years, organized beach volleyball tournaments for amateurs & enthusiasts * clean: enjoy a clean kitchen and living quarters * geekish: graduated computer science, just learned to solve Rubic cube, video games are good in my book, following SpaceX accomplishments * socialish: a 50/50 introvert, enjoy spending time by myself and as well chilling out with a bunch of open-like-minded, easygoing people * layed back & chill : would really enjoy spend some time in the parks & beach reading some books, meditating All and all I'm a pretty social, open minded and easy going person who always cleans up after himself. I am looking forward to hearing from you
I am a Non Smoker. Love to play Games, watch TV Series. I do my own chores, I do not like a messy house, so I clean it up when I am bored, or nothing to do. I am going to study at Swinburne University. In sports I like to play Volley Ball, Bowling(amateur level), badminton. I love to play board games and card games.
Mature professional, but young at heart. I love to socialise, meet new people and most importantly laugh. I'm a home owner myself so very respectful, clean, open and honest. I am easy going and like to feel safe and comfortable in my home. I am potentially looking to go overseas in mid June as it will be my last opportunity to live and work in the UK, as I am turning 31 this year, but this may very well not happen, will all depend on my cash flow, as mentioned, i have a mortgage myself. Fell free to contact me.
I work 5-6 days a week, 12-8pm. My spare time is usually spent playing video games, boats games, binge watching Netflix or cooking. I work in the CBD so I'm hoping for something that's a 10minute bike to public transport and no more than 30mins into the CBD. I'm easy going, get along with 90% of people. I'm not a super neat freak, but I'm not a fan of a pig sty either. Love a night out. But once in a blue moon, not every weekend. Hit me up if I meet any critea of yours, happy to negotiate bills/ rent that $190 is just a preferred max
Hiya I'm a gal from England currently on exchange for a year studying at Monash university. Hi my name is Courtney I am currently living on the Sunshine Coast in QLD. I start my new job at the Monash Medical Centre at the beginning of Feburary so am looking for a new home in Melbourne. I am a Registered Nurse, when I am not working I am training (for triathlons). I would like to live within a 20min proximity to the hospital, in a safe and quiet area. Prefer to live with 1 other person only but will consider living with more if its a suitable house hold. Ideally would like to live with someone who is into living a healthy, active and happy life. And who is respectful when it comes to a shift worker needing to sleep during the day etc. If there are any other health professionals or triathletes out there that would be perfect. Or just anyone who thinks we would be a good house mate match please contact me.
Hi, I'm Steve - I'm 24 - I study Osteopathy - I'm a Personal Trainer, Nutritionist and Strength and Conditioning Coach - I work with KX as a Pilates Instructor - I'm super domesticated - I love a good coffee, Sriracha and the odd wine - I enjoy reading, playing chess, lifting heavy things and a good pun I've spent a good portion of my adult life backpacking, so I get how to live in a share house. I can offer good banter, stories, and thoughtful discussions, and will probably need your body so I can practice my Osteo techniques and massage skills. I'm looking for something more long term. I like a tidy home, and enjoy when people are around. Like any student, there are times when I need some space to hit the books. I'd love to meet you and see your place! Coffee?
Clean and tidy, work full time during the week and some weekend work. Happy to be social and have a drink and dinner as a flat but also repect personal space etc. Generally not home weekends and enjoy sports(just getting into kiteboarding), I wakeboard and play soccer. Often out adventuring exploring the city and Vic and go home to NZ a few times a year. Also am a Kiwi so +/- points for that ;)
I am clean, tidy, quiet, minimalist and extremely respectful as a housemate. I am rarely home due to my busy schedule, and when I am home I enjoy the perfect balance between quiet personal time and social interaction within the household. I am reliable for all finances including bond, rent and bills. I contribute a calming, care free presence to a household. Hope to hear from you soon.
Me and my cat Buzz Lightyear are trying to find a house that will make us both happy. I am seeking a new adventure somewhere fun and new/ I am a home body and generally keep to myself. I like to read or chill out with a tea or wine. I am practical, sensible and organised.
Hi, my name is Kate and I am looking for a room to rent and a place to call home. I work as a nurse at the Royal Children's Hospital, however I don't do shift work :) I'm friendly and very down to earth. I have a caring nature and enjoy a pretty easy going lifestyle. After work I often like to get cosy, cook and watch Netflix, or head out for a meal with friends. My days off include staying active, spending time with friends and family, eating out or having a few drinks at a local pub. I moved here 3 years ago from Adelaide, therefore I still love experiencing new things around Melbourne and exploring new brunch spots. I'd like to live with someone who will enjoy having a chat and a laugh when we're together. I enjoy a glass of wine with dinner and you would always be welcome to join me:) I will also be respectful of your own space and privacy. I'll look forward to hearing from you!
I'm so easy going! I love to laugh a lot. I am outgoing but knows when to be quiet. I am clean and tidy. I love music (playing my guitar) and singing. I'm not a party person, i don't smoke or drink. As long as you are happy, I am happy too :)
I'm looking for a team up arrangement in the South Yarra area to share long term lease. Or alternatively, a place to rent on my own. I favour a townhouse type property but open to apartments too. The place will include parking for myself and storage space preferable. In regards to compatible housemates, I'm single but open to living with a couple. Most important thing is we share the same ideas around what makes for a relaxed harmonious household. I'm pretty easy going and fairly quiet at home especially during the week, not really up for much socialising during the week due to work. Weekends I'm a lot more chilled. It's all about balance so enjoy shared meals, movie nights and the occasional night out. I don't wish to live with smokers or party animals. I have a demanding job so would like to live with other professionals with a similar lifestyle. I'm friendly, easy-going enough, clean, well house trained, responsible, reliable, great communicator and respectful. I would suit like-minded. Wanting to create a relaxed happy home environment so you would be looking for something long term and similar. Message me with any questions & if you think we could be a great fit lets meet over a coffee or similar and see if we vibe. Jess :)

Country girl from a little place in Northern Victoria called Echuca, quit my job as a press photographer and moved to Melbourne 16 months ago to have a bit of fun. I'm a kids fitness coach so I'm very approachable and easy to get along with, i love my fitness, and when I'm not running around with kids I'm running a retail store. Currently studying my second degree, not afraid to have a few drinks, and I'm a great laugh.
Easy going, friendly, clean. I'm a full time data analyst, enjoy watching and playing basketball, love a good pub trivia night and don't mind sharing cooking. Can definitely respect alone time and other boundaries/house rules.
I am an international student from Colombia. I will be studying a postgraduate course at monash uni. I am very friendly and clean. I like to have my personal space but I also love to share time with flatmates/friends, cooking, talking, watching movies, going out, doing sports, etc...
