I'm James, a 25 yr old kiwi working in advertising. I have been in Melbourne almost a year and am looking for a quiet and sunny room in a central suburb and some cool people to live with. I'm a laid back, social guy who appreciates things to be clean and tidy, but I'm always up for having friends over for a few drinks during the weekend. I work in advertising, so if I'm busy you may not see me for a couple of days, but at the end of the week I'll be craving a few drinks and a good laugh. I enjoy eating out and going to gigs, as well as making the effort to squeeze the odd run in too. As a kiwi, my footy knowledge is slowing developing, so I'll be making an effort to attend a few games this season. Can cook, and happy to share meals if you are too.
Hello! I'm Paul, a biologist/science communication type person (eloquent) working for a research group at Monash University. I also volunteer at the Melbourne Museum, so I'm keen to find somewhere southeast but close to the city. I love theatre and live performance, so I'm usually out over weekend nights and sometimes midweek too. I'm pretty quiet at home, with reading, illustrating and cooking being my main go-to activities. I like to keep common areas clean, but totally understanding having that one cupboard where you can shove everything if people are coming over. I have more houseplants than necessary, and more books than reasonable. I've been living alone for a little while now, so I'm pretty well-equipped with furniture and household stuff (so many frying pans). If someone's just left your sharehouse with all their things, this could be a perfect match!
Hi all! I'm Meg, and I work full time in the real estate industry. I have just taken on a new full time role in the CBD. I currently live on my own in Mentone, however my lease expires in a month or so and would be looking to team up with another person to find a 2 bed, 2 bathroom Apartment or Townhouse. I'm also open to someone already having a place with a spare room ( I would really prefer my own bathroom though) I'm not too fussy on the location but would prefer South Yarra, Richmond or those sort of areas. I would also be happy to stick in the Bayside area too, as I enjoy being close to my family. Living on my own I obviously have all my own stuff including TV, washing machine, fridge, couch, dining table, appliances etc. I would prefer to be able to keep all of these things so ideally you wouldn't have anything and I can provide it all. However, putting them in a storage cage would be ok too. I am a very easy going person. I tend to be fairly quiet during the working week but I love coming home and hanging out on the couch watching tv. I also enjoy my alone time every now and then, and am very respectful of peoples privacy. On the weekends I love to socialise either at home or out for dinner or drinks with friends. I am also a slight neat freak and love a tidy house. I have always paid my rent and bills on time so there is no issue there. If this sounds like you feel free to message! :)
Looking to move into a room as my lease is up end of May. Am interested in finding a room to rent in a nice apartment building (no houses) and preferably renting with only One other person. I'm a 23yo very tidy and easy to get along with. Working fulltime in eastern suburbs mon-fri. Very social however love my alone time. Would love to live with someone who enjoys an occasional night out but can also sit on the couch and drink wine. A car spot is also required.
Single, professional born and raised in Melb. My hobbies include salsa dancing, personal development, travel, beach, yoga/meditation & general spirituality (but not too woo-woo don't worry!). I also love to eat healthy and organic food when I can but I'm also happy to have the occasional naughty pizza or maccas night in! I work for myself as a Marketing Consultant and absolutley love it. I'm a social type who enjoys getting out and having a good time on the weekends however not the party animal I used to be and certainly enjoy quite nights in with a movie and do not party during the week so not looking for that kind of party house. Being the social person I am it would be nice to have similar roomies that enjoy a chat and the occasional dinner or night out - but I also value my quite time and can understand when you need it too. I am extremely clean and am happy to chip in for a cleaner if you prefer.
I'm a very easy going person, I work full time on a fortnightly shift of either 8-4 or 10-6, either way I'm usually not home much during the week and out most weekends. I like to keep shared areas clean and noise down on work nights but up for anything on the weekends. I'm very flexible and don't mind socialising or keeping to myself in the evenings.
Hi I am looking for a pretty fun, chilled and easy going sharehouse with one to two people who are looking to team up to find a place around the chadstone, camberwell, bentleigh or brighton area. If anyone has any rooms available in these areas please send me a message. About me: I am a young professional working in retail store management full time. I am a pretty easygoing, relaxed and friendly type of person who is neat and tidy and always happy to help complete jobs around the place, be supportive of my flatmates, be respectful of everyone, enjoys a good chat and happy to cook and share a meal with my housemates and don't mind staying in and having some quiet drinks with friends. I like pets, going to gym when I can and don't mind watching a bit of Netflix from time to time. Look forward to hearing from you, please send me a message if your interested!
Hey! I'm an animal loving student, I work 2 part-time jobs and I also like to run. I'm super clean and organised, and I love having fun with friends on the weekend. I have lived out of home for 3 years so I really know how to be considerate and cooperative in a share house :)
Hey everyone, I’m relocating to Melbourne soon- and would love start a sharehouse or move in with some chilled-out, open-minded people who are preferably around my age. (18-25) It’d be good to move in with people who I’m on the same page as- however we don’t need to have identical personalities, since most of my friends are very different from me and I like diversity anyway. :) I respect people’s need for space as I often require my own, however I’m also really social and would love to be living with someone who I can also hang out with- which would be the most comfortable and ideal setting for a home. As for my (personal) interests, I adore music and all things fiction- books, movies, TV and comics are what my hobbies revolve around… and my other interests revolve around socializing, live music and similar events. I’m very open to new things and people, and would love to hear from you guys- don’t be shy to swing me a message! :) (Note: my preferred suburbs, move date and budget are just close estimates and are very flexible- these are likely to change favourably over the coming weeks.)

I am a 43 year old woman working part time in my own business, part time shift work, and studies and hobbies on the side! I enjoy being around people so would like to house-share. I'm happy to be social with housemates but also enjoy having time to myself. As I have bedroom furniture I would prefer unfurnished (at least an unfurnished bedroom).
Hi I'm Rachel, 30, i work full time as a pastry chef at a catering company in Glen Iris, my hours are pretty much monday to friday early shifts. My partner Enzo is 31, and works full time as a pizza chef in Windsor, usually Tuesday to Saturday afternoon / evenings. Because of our hours we are hardly ever home at the same time, but on our days off we like to be out catching up with friends for brunch, walks, day trips, coffee, wine, yoga, patting other peoples dogs, the usual stuff! We have both lived in house shares for the last 10 years, and both have a similar attitude towards keeping communal areas clean and tidy, being considerate of everyones space in the house, and generally bringing a positive vibe! We're not home much, but always keen to share a glass of wine, cook up some tasty dinners and have good chats when we are. Cheese boards are a regular occurrence... Benefits of living with us is lots of free cake and pizza!!
House trained since ages ago ;) haha. I'm pretty easy going and know how things work in sharehouses. I like to keep things tidy and positive in the home environment, and life. I enjoy hanging out with housemates but I also know about privacy. Generally into healthy things with a good balance of having some fun times out as well.
Hi guys! I'm Rochelle, a 28 year old female looking for a room to rent in a share house. I work full time as an office manager and have experience living in shared accommodation. I am very neat and tidy, and considerate of other people's space. I do enjoy socializing and am out and about quite a lot. I love having a good old chat, but also like my quiet time so won't be in your face all the time :) Ps. I have my own stuff so looking for an unfurnished room
I'm friendly, respectful and considerate, clean and generous, fun, reliable and trustworthy. I tend to get along with most people and have lived in share houses before. I like reading, music/ art, being active, social and travelling overseas. When at home I usually prefer to relax with a film/tv or catch up on sleep, I also like to cook for my housemates. I'm a mature-age full-time psychology student @ Deakin and do most of my study on campus. I am employed part-time and have a reliable income. Any questions please feel free to ask.
Hello everybody, I'm currently living in SA and have just about had enough of this place frankly, I just cannot get work here to save my life. I live in a nice house that my parents spent all their money rebuilding, but I need to move out for my own good. I love Sydney and Melbourne and think its a good place to start. I'm pretty quiet overall, but have a better sense of humour than many and enjoy travelling and photography. I tend to prefer staying at home, I never have been and never will be of the "party type", its not for me. I'm an online gamer too and thus my only prerequisite is an immediate wired internet connection. I am ready to move at any moment's notice. Currently not working at the present moment but feel a change in scenery is exactly what I need to find something. Thanks, Anthony.
Hi there, I am looking for a place to stay for 6 months. As a housemate I'm super tidy, clean and respectful. Please feel free to contact me :) Cheers,
I'm a 26 year old guy, newly working professional. I will be working full time, though in the coming weeks I will be doing overtime to help out in our busy period. As a result you might not see me too often. If you do see me, I'm friendly, easy going and respectful. I don't like to leave a mess and try to conserve where I can. When I'm not working I'm trying to improve my skills to further my career, catching up on TV shows, going to the cinema, or playing some games. I'm a non-smoker, but don't mind those that do (as long as its outside), have no pets, and I'm open minded.
Hoping to find a nice housemate or housemates who are interested in spending some time together either eating or watching tv every now and again. I'm vegetarian, aspiring vegan, and love animals so I'm definitely fine with pets in the house. I'm friendly, respect shared areas and considerate of other housemates. I've been in a few share houses so I know how this all works. Hoping to find a friendly housemate who is considerate and doesn't need a surrogate parent in a sharehouse. Currently working in South Yarra so keen to find a place nearby to unwind after a fast paced full day at the office. Being introverted in such a social workplace means I'm exhausted so no not after a party house. I spend my free time at the gym, catching up with friends for a bite, love going for long walks, and live gigs/concerts as well as the footy. But when I'm home I'm pretty much straight into my pjs.
I'm moving to Melbourne from Auckland, NZ. I'm 33 and like a good balance in a flat - knowing when to be social/interactive and knowing when to enjoy having chill time. I'm clean and tidy and pretty relaxed. I like cooking, music, gardening, travel, camping - (outdoors in general!), the beach, animals and chilling out with a vino :)
Hey! My name's Faye and I work in the travel industry as an Adventure Consultant. Having recently transferred to my new role closer to the city I'm looking for a place with easy access of Glenferrie. Originally from the UK, I moved to Melbourne in 2011 and since then I have gained experience living in a variety of shared accommodations and now I'm looking for my new home. What you can expect of me: I work Monday-Friday and the occasional Saturday and travel often on both work and personal trips. I'm a low consumer, very tidy and respectful, I don't own a lot of stuff! (no tv/furniture etc) and I'm really friendly. I'm very laid back and sociable but I do enjoy privacy and downtime in my own living space. I'm not a big drinker but I am a big foodie, so if I come in late it's thanks to a wild night on beef tataki or pizza! Ha. And lastly, I don't cook much.. (so not much mess) but I do like to bake goodies from time to time. Anything else you'd like to know, please ask away. What I'm looking for: I'm looking to share a peaceful and welcome environment with like-minded people who are laid-back, respectful and great communicators. Low consumers are ideal if bills are to be shared and I'd like to feel welcome to invite a friend or two over every now and again. I'd also like to share with other full-time workers who aren't home all the time either :) On a side note.. I'm also a sucker for a good pub quiz! All in all, I'm looking for a "home". Having left all my family behind in England, a comfortable, chilled environment is very important to me. I look forward to meeting you :)
