My partner and I are looking for a place preferably no futher than a 20 - 30 minute travel from the city as that is where we both work. We are both also PT dependant so close to a train station would be ideal for us. We don't really want to live with more than 2 or 3 other people. We would kinda just prefer a place where we would be able to find a moment of quiet and privacy. But we also want to be able to have a friendly relationship with our house mates. We want to live somewhere that feels like home. We are both pretty clean people but not anally clean to the point of us cracking it at you for your dishes. We take care of our own and would kinda just expect that would do the same. But honestly, we are both pretty relaxed type of people. We want to be just as much a good match for you as you are for us. So if we sound like your people, hit us up and we will go from there. Cheers ✌
Hi All, I'm Johanna from Colombia. I'm 29 years, I'm doing a master in Swinburne uni (this is my third semester) and working part time in a Mexican restaurant . Im a really sociable person, love to share time with friends, hang out and as Latin love to dance. I also enjoy cooking and love to share some relaxing time with a nice chat, a glass of wine and good food. I’m easy going person, really clean and respectful.
I'm easy-going, quiet and caffeine-dependent international student doing part time work at the moment. I love travel, basketball, hiking, sea turtles, the beach and donuts! I enjoy being around people and the occasional alone time as well. I'm smoke, drug and pet-free, respectful, considerate and am no stranger to living in share houses. Sadly, my current housemates are transferring to different areas due to work so I'm looking for better options. Ps. If I could find a flatmate to go on Pokemon Go raids with, that would be awesome!
Hello all! My name is Trenton Marable and I'm an engineering exchange student from America that will be studying at UniMelb this coming semester. I love many different outdoor activities, including: hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, water sports, ultimate frisbee, etc... I'm looking forward to exploring all the different parts (and food) of Melbourne so if you already know of places, or wanna tag along, that's a plus. I will definitely need to be studying a lot throughout the week, but will enjoy going out on the weekends. I will respect your space and expect you to respect mine, but that doesn't mean we can't hangout, get to know each other, cook together, and have fun sometimes. Location: Anywhere that you think I could get to the UniMelb campus from in a reasonable amount of time (you would know better than me). I'd prefer my own room, but would be open to sharing. I'm looking for flatmates that share somewhat similar interests, are down for an occasional spontaneous adventure, respect privacy, but also enjoy hanging and going out. If you think we'd get along, and have a place for me to stay, hit me up! If you have an iPhone, you can text me through iMessages, or just message me on here...
I'm a 20 year old bubbly fun female, I'm moving from Byron Bay and about to start a new full time job in Camberwell, I'm always up for a good time but am also happy to just stay home and chill out with a glass of wine and chat. I play basketball and netball and like to go exploring and going to gigs. You'll probably just see me at home listening to music and reading a book or watching a movie on Netflix. But being in an entirely new state I'll probably be out exploring the city and trying to make new friends :) *NOTE: I will not be down to Melbourne till 1st July, so I can't come meet anyone till that date :) *
I am a neat and organized person with a great sense of humour who is really into video games and programming. I mostly keep to myself but do enjoy the occasional chat. I am currently studying at RMIT.
Hello! I'm Jordan and my partner Will and I are looking for a room North/East of the City Loop to live for 6 months +. We have been living in Melbourne for 6 months but have been forced to travel long distances to go to University, and are therefore looking to move to the other side of the city. We both study full-time and work part-time, meaning we aren't home too often. We require access to public transport, preferably within 10 minutes walking distance, and I also have a car which will need to be parked nearby. We are very flexible and open minded, and are willing to live with anyone! Our combined weekly budget is $200 weekly without bills or $260 weekly with bills included.
I love Pho and I believe that life is great! I'd love to live with some humans that feel the same :) I'm a positive guys with a lust for life, and am on a daily mission to find curiosity, focus and adventures. 6am morning walks, cold showers and meditation pretty much sums me up - hoping to find flatmate(s) who would be up for this kind of stuff!! I love red wine, I love swirling it, I love deep philosophical chats, I love cats, (and dogs), but mostly cats because they do weird things, I play jazz piano (badly), and cooking is a big thing for me! I usually play devils advocate in conversation, I like seeing how differently people perceive the world, no one is really right, so its kind-of fun just watching how chaos in conversation unfolds. I try to always bring positive energy to the table, and never take a day in my life for granted. Life is short and there to be lived. I'm a free spirit - and the kinds of people that I wanna hang around will be open to questioning everything. Side interests: Human movement/gymnastics, baking bread, Chef's Table (on netflix), Evolutionary theory, mindfulness, psychedelics and PHO!
Sam and I are looking for another couple to start a new lease! We both work full time in fashion and landscaping, we'll let you figure out who does what. I'm Australian and Sam is from the UK with a newly accepted two year sponsorship visa :) We are looking for people similar to us, who are social, like to hang out and have a drink or ten on the weekend. But we are hard working and low key during the week and clean up after ourselves. Shoot us a message if you're interested!
Hello, I'm a quiet and tidy boy from India. I just finished my masters from Swinburne University. I do part-time job in southern cross age care. Other than that I'm a big fan of cricket and football. I usually spend my free time just chilling.

I am considerate, clean and friendly. I love to be around people and to feel at home! I am very easy going and understanding towards others. I’m originally from Japan and live in Melbourne for 10 years. I work full time in retail store in South Yarra, looking for the place easy to access my work. I like traveling, reading, sewing, cuddling animals, shopping and going cafes.
My name is Isabella, myself and my future roommate Sarah just moved to Melbourne from Brisbane and are looking for a like minded girl to team up with us to find a nice place around Brunswick, Carlton, Richmond, Fitzroy etc. We were looking for a 2 bedroom apartment but have decided to hunt for another gal to find a cooler and bigger crib within our budget, so we are looking for someone whose budget is around $250-$300. I already have 80% of the furniture and household goods apart from a fridge, washing machine and dryer so it would be awesome if you had one of these items but its not essential! Just a little bit about us - We love to socialise and are both really outgoing and fun people. I am starting a new job and will be working full-time Monday-Friday as a Marketer in Docklands and Sarah is studying primary education and working a bunch of random jobs. We are both really busy people so probably won’t be home too often but when we are we like to relax and watch TV, attempt to cook like Jamie Oliver, drink cheap wine or English Breakfast tea and just chill out. We’re looking for a roommate who could hopefully become one of our friends and who would be down for a board game every now & then, but who also is clean and respects our space & privacy.
Hi everyone, I'm Tika, 28. I'm a teacher. I'm looking for a room from July 3rd to September 25th. I'm tidy, clean, fun, easy going, sociable, and quiet person. I'm happy doing house chores together. I highly respect people privacy and space. But I'm always up for a chat and make friends. I like to go out every now and then for grabbing a drink, socializing, and dancing (salsa, bachata, kizomba). I keep myself fit and healthy. I'm looking for an accommodation near train stations which have Glen Waverley line, as I don't drive. But I don't mind to combine transportation (Tram and train, no buses). Furnished and private room is a must. I'd like to live in quiet house. As I'm not a mind reader, I'd like to have housemates who would be able to open to talk if they have issues about anything. I'm looking forward to hearing from you :)
I am a 27 year old female, relocating from the Gold Coast. I work in the Real Estate Industry. I have been travelling for the last 3 months through Europe. Looking for a room for 2-4 weeks until I can secure myself a rental in Melbourne. I’m fairly chilled, enjoy reading, exercising, food enthusiast, very respectful of people and their space have had roommates for years with my own property.
Hey all, I’m Tori, I’m 19 and looking at moving either back to Adelaide or possibly Melbourne, I was only in Rads for a year and a bit but absolutely fell in love and want to come back, and I’ve heard nothing but great things about Melbs! I was living in a share house with a girl and 2 guys! So I know all the do’s and don’t with sharehouses! I’d like to say I’m super active but if I’m being honest I’m a wanna be gym junkie but full time snacker! Always up for some telly binging, dinners, wine/beer and you know possibly some form of physical activity (will take much persuasion) But in the same token like we all say on here “I understand personal space/enjoy my own” haha! Always keen to chat and talk some smack! Let me know if you are in need of a full time snacker in your household or keen to team up with one! Xo
Hi there ! My name is Shou and I am 29 years old. I am pretty chilled, easy going and respectful and I don't smoke. I work full time in a Melbourne based furniture design/ manufacturing brand, from Monday to Friday. At home, I am the kind of person that who is up to keeping the kitchen and bathroom clean after using it. On weekends, I tend to hang out with friends on occasion. I am friendly and warm up to others quickly, clean and quiet. I like to collect comic books, read, drink coffee, occasionally bake, listen to music, watch movies/TV shows, play board/card games and go out with my partner and/or friends. I am pansexual and would like to live in a queer or LGBTQI+ friendly household. It would also be preferred to live in an all female household. I do eat meat (chicken is only preference) and am respectful of people who eat only plant based/non-animal products. I'd like to also do things with my housemates, like drink, have game nights, have a communal meal or go out together. I'm looking to move in around early to mid October, as my lease will end and my building is getting demolished.
