I'm originally from Adelaide and I've been living in Melbourne for around 18 months now. I work full time for a university and I've been studying part time this year. After over a year living on my own in an apartment I'm missing the simple things in life, such having dinner with someone else, gardening, and hanging your washing outside in the sun! As I've been living on my own for a while, I've got white goods, lounge room furniture, books, bedroom furniture, a stack of bicycles, camping gear and a car.
Hi everyone, my name is Valentina and I'm a 25 years old girl from Italy. I have been living in Australia already for one and half year and my partner and I are both thinking that's about time for us to move to Melbourne. We are ideally looking for a studio or a one bedroom apartment, we wouldn't mind getting on a lease for one year for the right place. We both love travelling, listening to music (especially records) and food lovers. I have a big passion for photography and one of the reason why I'm so keen to move to Melbourne is because I hope I"ll manage to do something with my passions, get inspired by other people and learn more. My partner Cane loves music, especially hip hop and jazz and spends a lot of his spare time producing his own music. We are looking for a cozy, tidy and clean place that we can personalise (furniture is not a must) and finally call home. We are looking around St.Kilda and South Yarra as I always feel the need to be by the water, but happy to consider other areas too. Our budget is 500 pw max, keen to spend a bit more if most of the bills are included, and happy to move in by the 1st of november. If you have something or know someone that could help us out, please contact me!! :) thank you very much Valentina and Cane
Very laid back, active, clean. I generally don't spend much time at home, between work and sport I like to stay as busy as possible. I've spent most of the last 5 years traveling so it's great to finally be staying put in Melbourne for a while.
Hi, We are two mates looking for a room to share with two beds or a bunk. We are from Chile and Spain working here and lenght of stay at least 4 months. We are polite, tidy, respectful and funny always in for a chat and beer. Cheers.
I'm very relaxed but also like to keep the place clean. Very active, into fitness and nutrition, but also love a beer and a burger! I've recently moved back to Melbourne after doing a bit of travelling. I work full time in the city and study part time.
Hello everyone, My name is Bram, a 30 year old Belgian who's travelling the world. I used to be an investment banker but I really hated it so I quit everything and started travelling. I've just spend a year in NZ and now moving to Australia. I will be working full time in Melbourne for about 6 months and I'm looking for a nice place to stay. This can be a shared room, an attic, a garage or an iglo for all I care. The most important part is the people I stay with. I am a very outgoing person and very straight forward. I believe in honesty all the way which admittedly can be a bit much some times (I say it like it is, no filter ;-)). I absolutely love music and I will have music playing all the time. I also play the guitar and I beatbox. I like sports such as climbing, swimming and snowboarding, but I recently discovered kite-surfing and I travel with all my gear therefore I will try doing it wherever and whenever I can. So a room close to the beach is definitely a plus. Oh and I'm a vegetarian and I absolutely love to cook for others and myself and I like to share ingredients and ideas! So if you are looking for a social, open-minded, honest and easygoing flatmate, then please look no further! Hope to see you soon!!
I like cleanliness and keeping things tidy. I am responsible and will pay rent etc on time. I also love to cook and eat healthy food and look after myself - meaning I can cook for you too ;) I will respect your privacy and expect the same in return.
Hi everyone, I am an easy going and nice person who loves to play sports. Not looking for a party house, just a nice place that can feel like home. Im used to live with other people and sharing the house facilities. Would love to live in a clean household. Kind regards, Tessa
Hi guys! I'm Alice from Italy. I'm 30 years old and I'm looking for a room in a share house as soon as possible! I think I'm a great flatmate to live with because I'm really tidy and clean, respectful, quiet and reliable. I love TV series, reading and karting, and I really love to share a bottle of a good red wine! I don't like to live in a party house, I'm sorry! I've just finished my 88 days of farm job for my visa and I've already found a job full time in hospitality from Monday to Friday, but I'm also looking for another job for the weekend. Hope to have a chat soon Thanks heaps
Digital Marketing professional Mon-Fr. Either off Sailing or hiking on the weekend. Easy going, tidy and respectful. I'm normally out and about most of the time. Do enjoy a bit of banter and a glass of wine.
I am a 25 year old professional moving to Melbourne to further my career. I'm outgoing and social but also enjoy hanging out and watching a movie, drinking a wine at home. I enjoy my own space and I'm happy to give you yours as well but also would love a good chat in communal areas when the situation arises and Roomie hangs every now and again aren't out of the question. I am super clean and prefer when the house is kept clean and tidy. I currently live with 2 other people ( 1 male and 1 female) so I don't have a gender preference in adelaide and have never had any problems! I'd love to hear from you, I'm in Melbourne every few weeks or we can Skype if you'd prefer! Love to hear from you
I'm going to keep it short and sweet I work hard and I play hard I have a little dog who is literally a princess and we love the finer things in life I'm looking for a two bedroom place or something along those lines we are looking to move whenever but sooner the better we are both clean and tidy and lots of fun to be around I do work night shifts mostly around the weekend and study online during the week
Hi, I'm Paige I work full time at a Law Firm during the week and also casually at a night club on some weekends I am a very social person however i also enjoy my own space and respects others to, i love cooking and also enjoy a bevvy Ideally i'd love to find someone like minded (and someone who also wants to keep the place clean & tidy) Look forward to hearing from you
I’m very clean and tidy. I like to keep part of my free time to myself, and part of it with my flatmate; especially on weekends when I have more free time, to watch a good movie, to drink and dine in or out, or to go to a bar with a good DJ once in a while. So I guess I rather be a friend and flatmate. I’m not a great cook, except when it comes to bbq. I like sharing with nice and openminded people from any nations. My background is Armenian. Have lived in Melbourne for last 5 years and there’s still plenty of places in Australia I wish to explore. I sometimes play guitar and sing in the shower but I’m really really considerate and also welcoming to positive feedbacks.
I am clean, tidy, courteous, I love cooking, I have excellent references! I sell learning management systems, I love sport and enjoy a glass of red, I believe that you own room is your own space and I respect others space. Synergy of room mates is very important to me. I love riding my bike, love yum cha!
Hello future Roommates! We are a French/Scottish Couple in our late 20's who have enjoyed working and travelling across Australia for the past two years. Little about us... My name is Gini 28 years old and originally from Glasgow, Scotland. I'm currently studying a Diploma in Human Resources and work part-time as an Office Temp covering Receptions and General Admin work at different companies across Melbourne, mainly 9-5 working days. Ludo is 28 years old (nearly 29) and from Paris, France. He's is currently working as a sales assistant in a bike store, Ludo is a keen cyclist, triathlete sports in general oh and cheese! We are an easy going, open minded couple who like to socialise have a chat about life, travel, etc. but we're not too in your face either, respectful of space and the need for some downtime! Like to lead a healthy lifestyle, keep fit, eat clean (not opposed to the odd treat now and then). Love to cook, try new recipes and happy to share meals and a bottle of wine..or two. Both of us are clean, tidy and organised. We previously sub-leased in the Brunswick area which we loved, but are open to discovering other areas. However this time we would ideally like to have our names put on the lease (rental history for the future etc.) We are looking to rent long-term 6months or more and would love to call a place home not just a place to live in. Happy to share with open minded, respectful people from any nationality. If you like the sound of us and think we'd suit your home, please don't hesitate to drop us a message! Merci :)
Hello! My boyfriend and I just arrived here from the US and are planning to stay here for a year. We are fun and active people. Jim is a web developer and I was an insurance underwriter. We are responsible and clean. Ideally looking for a furnished room or apartment but could also do an unfurnished room. Looking for a good part of the city with convenient public transit access and awesome flatmates if applicable. I enjoy volleyball and soccer, we both like rock climbing, hiking, snowboarding and playing flag (American) football. Thank you for you interest! Annie and Jim
Scottish, now call Melbourne home. Been here for 15 months and staying indefinitely at the moment. Like eating out, drinks and whatever amount of exercise required to balance the books - mostly cycling. Work as a medic, like to make the most of my spare time with whatever is going on in the world’s best city. Ideally looking to live in a 3+ bed place with a mix of guys and girls. Sadly current flatmate is leaving to new shores so looking to move from current place any time in next 6 weeks - fairly flexible.
Hey! Mi name is Julia and I am from Mexico City. I am going to an exchange program in Monash, however I'd rather live in Melbourne in some good neighbourhoods such as Southbank, Carlton, Fitzroy or CBD) because I am very interested in night and tourist life. I am a girl who is looking to make the most of my time in Australia. I am easy to be with and consider myself to be fun and friendly. I am always up for a night out, a beer, drinks, roadtrip. I am an organized and clean girl, interested in a single room in a shared house with different people from around the world. I love meeting new places and people. In Australia I would love to learn to surf as I loooove the beach. I love to travel around. I like to exercise (run or swim) to stay healthy. I have never been to Australia however I am very very interested and excited to get to know it! I'm going to Sydney for one month before school starts and would love to roadtrip around the east coast. To be honest I am interested in my school however my primary objective is to experience as much as I can, meet good friends and have memories for my whole life. Send me a message if you are interested in forming a new house or if you know of someone who is leaving for an exchange program in your house and I could fit in there! Thank you!
