Take a Turkish Man and a New Zealand Wahine and you have the ultimate duo. We're both super respectful, clean and down to earth. We love meeting other genuine people, enjoy staying active and exploring Melbourne with all of its delicious cuisine. During the Winter you'll find us rugged up watching a good movie or tv series. Come Summer we'll be out having fun. Ideally we would like a place somewhere between the City and Box Hill.
I’m currently living the 9-5 life and I’m looking for a place to call home the rest of the time. Pros + I like to keep myself and my living space clean. + I’m the perfect Netflix binge companion. I’m happy to socialise with flatmates but I also understand the need for personal time. Cons - I’m too funny. You might just find yourself laughing too much 😁
Hi there! I am looking to move to Melbourne the second week of August. I am a full time PhD student, plus I work 2 days per week as a Sports Dietitian, which essentially means working 6-7 days per week. I’m quiet and respectful and really don’t want to live in a party house but do enjoy the occasional dinner party/board games with wine/gin with house mates. I have an adorable, cuddly kitty - who turned my current house mate from a non cat lover, to a cat lover. I hope to find kind and respectful house mates who don’t mind having their own lives but also enjoy flatmates company.
Hey, my names Olivia and i'm a real happy and relaxed person to live with. I get on with people very easily and just looking for somewhere to call home :) I have just moved to Melbourne and work full time in Admin. I'm someone who always pays bills on time or in advance, i like to be social but also know how important personal space is!
Hi there, My name is Marni, I'm looking for house mate who is experienced with living out of home. I'm interested in a flat mate who is similar to myself, that share a positive, friendly vibe and are always up for a laugh. A house mate who also like to cook and have great standards in house etiquette. I'm not after a party house but i am interested in building friendships, in saying that i also do enjoy having time to myself as well. Sharing meals over a glass of wine and binge watching movies would be enjoyable - every now and then of course. (Being a 90's baby i'll always have a soft spot for the classics in that era (songs/movies) A little bit about myself, i am a Free-Lance Fashion Stylist. Every part of Fashion Styling, i adore. I enjoy finding new cafes to visit (breakfast enthusiast) attending Pilates/yoga and a new found love for grocery shopping at markets. Music is therapeutic for me so i may sing/dance around occasionally (Triple J's hottest 100, 90's classics). I am very much so a morning person, and i'm usually asleep before midnight. I also enjoy travelling, last year i took a Gap Year around most of Europe, my favourite places to visit were London, Paris & Barcelona. I enjoy cleanliness, eating healthy and I love watching DVDS (old school) Most of my time consists of, sourcing for photo shoots, reading books/magazines or working my other job in retail. Some TV shows i enjoy watching Friends,River-dale, Criminal Minds (loads more). As for films, anything featured with Seth Rogan, Jonah Hill, and Steve Carrell i find hilarious, as well as chick flicks & thrillers. I hope these few paragraphs have portrayed a little bit about the sort of room mate i'll be and which type of house mate i'm looking to live with! Look forward to meeting.
Hello! My name is Lois, I am 21 years old, studying a Bachelor of Laws full-time and working part time. I'm very lighthearted and easy going, not much bothers me and I am always up for a laugh. I'm very respectful of my housemates and their privacy but also enjoy sharing a meal or drink. When I'm not working or studying I am pretty social and enjoy going out for a few wines with the gals or staying at home with housemates to binge watch Kardashians or Bachelor in Paradise. I also enjoy going on hikes and try to make it to the gym as much as possible. I am tidy, clean and good with housework. My rent is always on time, as are my bills. I have good rental history from previous house shares and rentals and am happy to provide these references for you. I'm a settled person and a bit of a homebody at heart so I am really looking for somewhere I can settle into and make home. I am more than happy to sign myself onto the lease and pay myself into the bond. Cheers, Lois!
I'm looking for a place with laidback, fun, social girls around my age, either in an existing sharehouse or for a team up :) Would love a place where I can become friends with my housemates and occasionally socialise and go out for drinks or just chill and do a netflix binge! I work 4-5 days during the week in the city, and on the weekends I like to go out for lunch, catch up with friends, go on mini adventures around Melbourne, and keep active at the gym. I'm pretty easy-going, like to keep positive and active (really into health, wellness, fitness, although tend to compensate that on the weekends coz balance), and am always up for an adventure! One day I could be talking about boys and reality tv shows, then next minute I could be talking about the existence of the Universe so there's that. So, I'm basically looking for a clean, nicely furnished place that's walking distance to trains or trams that I can feel comfortable in with awesome people! Move in date first week of August would be ideal, however I'm quite flexible for the right place :)
A gal from Canberra moving on to greener pastures for a 9-5 in the Melbourne CBD. I enjoy making Simpsons references, being overly competitive at friendly board games, attempting to stay fit, finding cool places to get drinks, and breakfast foods for dinner. I am looking for a place to live that will give me easy access to the CBD, but also allows for a bit of regional exploring on the weekends since ill be new to the area. I am tidy, considerate, can cook, and not a tight arse. I would be keen to get around housemate activities, but also have my own friends in the city - looking for a place where people are friends and not just living with one another 🙂 tl;dr - tidy and respectful of privacy - easy to get along with - not a homebody, keen to get out and about - wants to live with you
I am very friendly, chill, and I like having my own space too. I love cooking and I always try to keep the house clean. I am a Filipino, currently an international student and I work part time. I like to go out during my free time, but most of the time I am at work.
A cheerful girl who comes from Malaysia. I am an easy-going person and love to explore new things. I will be going to Swinburne Uni this coming July as an exchange student. So I am finding a short-term accommodation for me to stay around 4 to 5 months. Do leave me a message if you guys interest to find a housemate ya :)
Hiya I'm Christopher; I'm a cook and I just moved to Melbourne from Canada on a working holiday visa. I spend most of my free time reading, watching Netflix, and going to the gym. I like trying out local restaurants, and I'm always down for a board game. The perks of living with me are probably that I'm quiet, I cook and I clean, and I spontaneously bake pies every so often.
Easy going couple from the UK both working full time here in melbourne. We are sociable but also respect peoples privacy and space .For fun we often go out for food or a few drinks. Feel free to messege me anytime. Thanks
Sydneysider making the move to Melbourne! I’m being transferred with work to launch a brand new venue in Melbourne CBD. I’m 25 years old, and even though I work in the hospitality industry I’m well and truly past my party days. I do love my wine especially whilst making dinner, binge watching Netflix or at a new restaurant/bar. I’m far from a home body and especially being in a new city I’ll be exploring whenever I get a day off. I’m the type of housemate that doesn’t take note on who’s turn it is to buy the toilet paper/milk/clean the kitchen, if we’re out I’ll go buy some and if it’s dirty I’ll clean it. I’m a social housemate and would love to enjoy a house meal or go out for a drink or a Sunday brunch, or even binge watch a Netflix series together.
I've just moved to Melbourne, from Sydney for a new job working as a content manager for a global marketing platform. I'm a social 23 year old male, mature for my age and can hold a conversation with just about anyone. With a background working in radio, I love a chat, have a sense of humor and enjoy my music of many genres. I play american football and will be out of the house some weeknights for training and for games on weekend. I enjoy a drink while socializing with others on weekends and I'm after a room in a house of good down to earth fun people. I'm working in Albert Park so a place with good transport or a clear bike path are handy. I've also got a 1974 Holden Kingswood I drive so off the street parking is a bonus but not a deal breaker. Non smoker, healthy and active, very handy with fixing bits around a house and understand the etiquette of living with others. I'm ready to move in right away and available on weekends or after work to come say gday. Hope I can be the housemate you're looking for!
Young professional working full time in the city so I'm only home after 7PM on weeknights, or 8-9PM if I find the motivation to hit the gym haha :) On weekends, I try to be out and about for at least one of the days - brunch, coffee, shopping, picnics, beach time etc. (of course would love to live with someone I get along with and can join me!) When I'm home, I'm usually just chilling on my laptop editing photos/attempting to be creative or watching Netflix/YouTube. I don't party - definitely prefer real talk with some cheap wine over clubbing any day! I appreciate a balance of having your own space but also being able to hang out with good company. I like to keep things looking pretty and organised so I'm not the kind of person to leave my stuff everywhere. Close public transport, particularly those that go direct into the city is important for me as I don't own a car. I'm flexible on locations as long as it's within budget and getting about is convenient. Looking for a female roommate(s) for team ups as I'm hoping to find a place together to create a home not just a place to stay :)
I've just moved back to Melbourne from the Gold Coast after almost 2 years away, looking for something mid/long term, with just a couple of housemates of a similar age, guys or girls, who are clean and casual. I'm laid back, very social and quite active, clean and tidy and understand a need for good housekeeping. I find it hard to sit still so I spend most weekends out of the house, maybe go out of a Saturday night, but if its a nice day outside on a Sunday, setting up the decks and having couple beers in the backyard aren't going to go astray either. I like cooking up a good feed and I'm happy to cook for more than one. I have a 4 yr old Carpet Python that is extremely social and well handled, though i understand snakes aren't everyones cup of tea, if it makes you feel any better, the enclosure locks and she hasn't got opposable thumbs so it's very hard for her to escape. Plenty of photos on Instagram link. I have taken a few weeks off before i start my new job in civil construction, so will be working all over but mainly the M80 upgrade and Citylink works. Will be working up to 6 days on site so really want to be able to come home to a relaxing environment. I have 2 cars, so would really like to have a garage space or at very least, secured off street parking to keep the ute, the other is just a run about and not fussed where its parked, on a kerb, under a tree, in a tree, whatever. Though it's not super important as the ute is currently in storage and can stay there for a while. I'm on the left in the photo!
Hey I'm Grace. I'm a 24 yo nurse and owner of a beautiful rescue greyhound Connie. As much as i enjoy getting to know my house mates i am also respectful of there lifestyle and privacy. I'm by no means a clean freak, but i am tidy and like to keep common areas tidy. I enjoy getting out of the house and catching up with friends on my days off. I am a shift worker so am often working odd hours and weekends. I am by no means opposed to sharing a meal, a drink or a chat with my housemates or even just binge watch tv together.
I'm a huge sports fan, I watch a lot of AFL and Soccer. I play soccer for RMIT FC and also run marathons. I like watching movies and going out for a beer/food. I require parking for a high van (2.4m) as I am a fibre splicer for the NBN network.
I'm a student at Monash coming from Bangalore, India. Soccer and classic rock fan!
I’m 19 years old and moving out for the first time. I’m friendly and sociable and fairly quiet until you get to know me. I am respectful of others privacy and would love to live with someone who will be a friend as well as a roommate. I work in hospitality therefore I tend to work at all different times and generally late nights or early mornings, I am however very quiet when getting ready or coming home. I love to bake and love to share that with others, I also enjoy going on adventures to find new places to eat, explore and have fun.
I'm a fun, down to earth housemate that works full time and studies part time. I’m not a great cook but also can surprise you with a nice turkish meal sometimes. I like going to the pub or having a few drinks at home every so often. I love animals, so I don't have a problem if you have dogs or cats - they'll get plenty of love from me too! I like to make sure that I come home to a clean house so tidy housemates is a must. I may have friends over for dinner occasionally and love it when housemates join in. Send me a message if you think we'd be a good match.
