I’m currently employed by Qantas and have been with the company 9 years and counting. I mainly grew up in New Zealand and have spend the last 4 years in London. If I am not working you will usually find me travelling, that’s not to say I love a lazy day watching Netflix. Animal lover and foodie.
I'm 24 and I'm an Australian born Chinese raised in Brisbane, Queensland. I've relocated to Melbourne for work as an IT consultant so ideally I would love to live within close proximity to the city. A lot of my friends and colleagues describe me as quirky, a bit nerdy, and a bit weird (in a good way). I love binge watching netflix shows (like Rick and Morty, Brooklyn Nine Nine and some Anime), eating out, going to the arcade bars and playing some board games in my spare time. I'm a bit of a home body but also an outdoorsy person. I believe home should be my quiet and down-time sanctuary. But I also love going for cycles, hikes, checking out some quirky bars, eating out whilst stalking cute dogs at the cafes/dog parks. As for what I'm like as a housemate - I always clean up after myself and I'm really considerate of my roommates own space but always down to have dinner and chill out together. I'm really easy going, organised, reliable, down to earth and really respect people's own personal space. Would really love to find a place to stay long term. I have my own bedroom furniture, so not really requiring a furnished bedroom.
I’m from Brazil and I’m 39. I came to Melbourne to study and work. First I’m improving my english and them I’m going a post graduate. I am easy going, clean and focused on my studies. I’m looking for a house to long term.
Hey there! I am a typical 28 year old Melbourne chick. I love my sports, coffee/brunch, attend social events and loves the occasional boogie on the weekend. I work full time as an accountant in the media industry. During the week I go to the gym most days mixture of mornings and nights but like to come home and chill on the couch with a glass of wine and have a chat to unwind. I am also independent and like to chill on my own for a bit of time out. I am currently living back home with my parents in the western suburbs for the year after living in Prahran 5 years prior. I would love to move in with someone that I can can get along and become friends with I sold all of my furniture and white goods to my old room mates. I can provide some nice plates and glasses &; of course my bedroom furniture. I don’t drive so I wouldn’t need a car space either. If you could see me on your couch with a glass of wine watching Bachie/MAFS or the footy and having a gossip, I am the roomie for you!
A human.Being. I’m a creature of contradictions—An athletic bookworm, a night owl who’s an early riser, and an active guy who loves to be lazy on Sunday mornings. Currently, I’m looking for great housemates, a bed, working WI-FI and a roof over my head (walls would be nice too) till I find my own apartment in Melbourne. • I am very clean but not obsessive about it; I tidy after myself • I don’t watch much TV other than rugby and classic movies • I enjoy discovering recipes and I’m always interested in learning new things whether it’s history, docies, the guitar or heading downtown to check out a band I’ve probably never heard of—the weirder the better. Let me know if I can crash at yours or just give me some tips on some great recipes.
Hi guys, my name's Greg, and I'm an American journalist. I visited Melbourne in April and fell in love, so I'm moving from Brooklyn to Melbourne this September to work for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. I've had roommates since college, so I'm clean, but also pretty relaxed about things. I like to go out and socialize on the weekends with friends, and sometimes during the week if I'm up for it. Every now and then I'll travel for work or to see a bit more of the country, and I'll be in Melbourne for at least a year.
Looking to move south side with my greyhound Durrie!! She's super chills and just sleeps most of the day. Currently studying Wildlife and Conservation Biology at Deakin and working part time in Cremorne I love being active and in my spare time I'm hiking, swimming in the ocean or shopping. I also love going out to see my mates/having a dance. I really would love a simple home that is clean/tidy and has space for lotsa plants! I am very easy going and am always happy to have a drink but also appreciate and respect time needed in peace x
English but lived in NZ for the 9 years so pretty much half kiwi! Hairdresser making Melbounre home. I do love my own space but also meeting people, a good night out & bunch dates! I love travel, music, hair & cooking. A clean tidy house is a must, nobody likes to live in other peoples mess!
I'm a 31yo guy looking for some awesome, friendly flatmates to live with ideally long term but might consider short. I work as a chef, without the chef hours, so no late nights and more cooking for you! (Favourite thing to cook? Tacos)... I'd love to find a place thats chilled out, mature, clean and has a half decent kitchen ;) I'm a social introvert, i love meaningful, engaging conversations with people but like to maintain a balance between having fun socialising and relaxing with a movie, book or meditating..i don't really watch much TV, but definitely up for a good series binge. If there's ever any wind i'll be down in St. Kilda kitesurfing and I've also taking up pottery classes. I have a broken banjo that i don't play, and I've also stopped going to salsa classes, but i could definitely be persuaded to start doing both. I'd be looking to find a room for a queen sized bed, but other than that i don't have much else I'm afraid as I've been away travelling for a few years.....just a few indoor plants and a taco press....for making our own tacos...obviously. I sometimes wee in the shower and I'll use up all your bowls and tea towels when i cook, but i hold my values of honesty and reliability highly. Look forward to meeting you!
I am a bright, easy, clean, organised person to get along with. If my dog is happy I am happy and I promise to always respect you and your home. I hope to find not only mutual respect but make a new friend from this website :) My dog is a 1 and a half year old pomerian cross puddle she is only tiny and all black, she is a very lovable dog !
Hello! I'm Catherine, 29 years old and am currently employed as a full-time Graphic Designer. I'm an independent and easy-going personality. I enjoy swimming, surfing, reading, live music and travel. I work 9-5 so my weeknights are generally pretty quiet, maybe with a meal or two out with friends. I'm usually out on the weekends as I like to catch up with friends and family and often get over to the beach. I'm a clean and considerate housemate and I'm looking for friendly people who are thoughtful about privacy, cleanliness and are dependable with finances. I really enjoy cooking and like to organise my own food, but am always down to share an occasional dinner. (I don't have any food allergies or preferences). I'd prefer a place with no smokers or indoor pets, but it's not a deal-breaker :-) It would be great to meet you if think I'd be a good fit for your home!
I'm an easy going, down to earth, working professional. I have just moved over from Perth for more opportunities. At the moment I am staying with family however would love to find a share-house with similar minded people. I am the golf industry and enjoy playing as much as I can. I enjoy most outdoor activities and can not wait to experience a nice Melbourne summer.
Hey everyone! I am looking for a furnished private room to rent for a long term stay. Or at the very least a bed and BIR (a desk would be awesome too lol). Preferably in Brunswick, Ascot Vale, St Kilda, South Yarra, Elwood or anywhere that’s less than an hour from Southbank via public transport. Also, internet is a must! I arrive in Melbourne on the 13th of September and hope to move in as soon as I arrive. My budget is $700pcm, but of course the lower the better. 😬 A little bit about myself: I am an international student from Singapore, mid-20s and I will be studying Filmmaking this coming September. I like to spend my free time watching movies, sports and exploring new places with my camera(be it cool hipster cafes or jungle trekking). I'm pretty chill and sociable, some say funny but that's up to you to decide 😉. I don’t consider myself as a party person but I do enjoy music festivals and a few drinks every now and then. I'm respectful and tidy therefore I pay bills on time and clean up after myself. I’m also LGBTQ friendly and I don’t mind pets at all. 😬🐒 Now, as I am still in Singapore, I am not able to do a viewing in person. But I'm totally down for a video call interview/viewing if you are open to that idea. 😃 Cheers, Jerry 🤙🏼 :)
I'm looking to relocate to the city to be closer to work. I'm a massive introvert, I love staying home. I love a good chat and tea, so so much tea. I'm not into partying (I don't drink) but if you mean the pillow fort kinda party, I'm down for that.
I’m responsible, considerate and respectful. I will clean up after myself. I value communication and integrity. I’m warm and friendly - can be sociable - but will also respect your space (I’m an introvert). I’m fine with pets. Non-smoker, don’t drink, prefer cosy gatherings to big parties. I’m also a devout Christian and my greatest passion is Jesus. I’m moving from Singapore to Melbourne in 2019 to pursue a teaching qualification at Uni Melbourne. I studied Literature for my Bachelor’s. I enjoy reading, writing, baking, illustration and connecting with people over brunch/coffee.
Hi, I am in my 30's, friendly friendly and easy going. I am looking for a room in a flat/house and I would require the room from September 2nd onwards dates for 4 weeks. I like to keep the house neat and tidy and looking for similar person to share. I am a professional and work full time and pay my bills on time. I am sociable but also respect others space. My interests include nature, wildlife, photography, travelling, Movies, TV shows and a more. If you like to know anything else do let me know. Heey! I'm a Swiss student who intends to share a flat (and experiences) during my 5 months in Melbourne, working on a project at Swinburne uni. I've spent the last 4 years living with roommates, I'm easy to live and pretty clean as a guy. See you soon :)
Well... I’m italian and usually that means FUNNY :) I’m joking... but I could also cook sometimes ahaha I’m moving to Melbourne after 5 years in Brisbane to open my new business.... so I will be pretty busy but always keen for a good chat and a good glass of wine.
I am after accommodation for myself looking to move sometime this week. I just graduated from Uni Adelaide with a Masters Degree in International Business Management and I’m moving to Melbourne for work. I like to cook, workout and shop. I am an outstanding discount shopper. RRP doesn’t do it for me. I could never! A glass of wine, or three every now and then. I can be social however, I do like to keep to myself from time to time. I would rather that my housemates are clean and clean up after themselves. I cannot stand when people are oblivious to mess. I am open to locations other than those listed on my profile provided there’s a bus stop nearby and the location is no more than 25 minutes into Melbourne CBD. No pets please.
