SHORT VERSION: Masters student looking for a place closer to Melb Uni. Extroverted but will leave you in peace and does not want a 'party house'. Well house trained. EXTENDED VERSION: Currently a masters student at University of Melbourne, 2nd dan black belt who teaches and trains in taekwondo when time permits. I am looking for a place preferably closer to the city and uni and for new housemates who either want to hunt for a place with me or have found somewhere already and need an extra housemate. I don't have any pets but if you have any I'll love them as they were my own. I'm very house proud but am by no means a homebody and when I'm not at work, uni or catching up with friends, I can usually be found out in my kayak, on my bike, at the dojang or going for a run which you would always be welcome to join me at but I won't force you too! When I'm at home, I'm quite neat (and I hope for my housemates to be the same), I'm a good cook, and do enjoy getting to share a meal with others. I love a good chat, intelligent or silly, and a household full of laughter. I believe home should be a positive and happy place and not a place where everyone goes and hides in their room at the end of the day without talking. I do however believe everyone needs their own quiet time and I am respectful of that but I will always put a good book down to chat and be social instead. :) I'm more experienced living with guys however your gender, sexual orientation, race, favourite colour, football team or star sign all hold no bearing on your suitability as a housemate to me. The only thing I ask is that you have a positive attitude and are the type of person who is easy to get along with and inclusive of others regardless of their differences. I have most things needed for a household inc. everything needed for a kitchen, a comfy couch, coffee machine, large flat-screen telly, linen, towels, an iron etc. I don't need to bring everything with me (some of it is currently in storage already) however I definitely do not want a bedroom that is already furnished as it would not feel like home to me without my own bedroom furniture. I am not picky when it comes to finding a place (ok, shower curtains creep me out!) however, I do have a car, kayak and mountain bike so a place that has secure parking and somewhere safe to keep my bike is essential, the kayak can stay behind and live with friends kayaks if needed. I am also avoiding apartments that do not have built in laundry facilities and require the use of a communal/ coin laundry if it can be helped. Before contacting me please make sure your listing has the following requirements: Off-street parking, unfurnished private room, non-couples. Thank you.
Hey potential flatmates! I am moving back to Melbourne on the 25th of March and I will stay at a friend's place, but I am eager to find a new home as soon as possible <3 I'm in my late 20s, originally from Italy, but I lived in London for most of my twenties, where I studied fine arts and worked in a contemporary art gallery. I am a permanent resident here in Australia and I am now moving to Melbourne to work for a museum. On my days off I love to enjoy what the city has to offer: gigs, plays, art exhibitions, markets, restaurants, cute neighbourhoods to explore and I love keeping busy with travelling, cooking, reading, drawing, learning new stuff etc., but I do occasionally enjoy staying in, binge-watching series on Netflix, glass of wine or cuppa at hand - like everyone else. I am keen to find a cosy place that feels homely and ideally share it with some total legends! I will happily consider anywhere that's up to 30-45 mins commute to Fed Square. I like to make flat-sharing as easy and smooth as possible. I'm sociable and laid back, but quite "house proud" ...so not a clean freak, but I do put a decent effort into keeping my home nice and tidy. I also always pay rent and bills on time without fail, so that shouldn't ever be a problem! Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Benedetta
Hi I am Murray. I am a friendly laid back guy who has shared houses in the past. I am doing online MBA studies currently, so a quiet environment is helpful. I best study at night, so I am a night owl. I am a tidy and clean member of the household, without being obsessive. I like the outdoors and like to ride for leisure. I enjoy the company of others in my downtime, to interact and socialise.

I currently rent an apartment in South Yarra and my lease ends 9 April 2018 so will be looking to move in April, although I am relatively flexible with a move in date. I have some decent stuff from my apartment (washing machine, fridge, coffee machine etc.) so happy to bring anything if needed otherwise I'll just put into storage. I am super easy going, polite and clean. I enjoy socialising on weekends (going out for dinner/drinks etc.) and usually just chill or gym/run after work during the week. I am looking to live in a pretty relaxed place and hopefully someone that is like-minded :-)

I am a recent graduate from America who has been in Melbourne for 4+ years now looking to save up to continue my studies and eventually make Australia my permanent home. I work in hospo and as an intern for a company in business analytics at the moment. I enjoy the footy, kickboxing, gaming, live music, and healthy eating. I have lived on my own since highschool, granting me a wealth of experience living with different individuals. I am easy going, and look forward to coming home to clean living arrangements after a hard day's work.

I just arrived in Melbourne (lived in Christchurch for the past year) and am not looking for just a place to live but a new home. The last shared place I lived in was very social, but also tidy and nice and it would be the dream to find something like that again. I am a very relaxed & balanced person and respect other people's space. My usual activities range from superactive like hiking, surfing, Yoga, gigs, artsy events, exploring and so on to a good talk or read with wine or movies. I am mostly out and about and especially now that I am new here I will do and see as much as I can. But I am always up for an after work cooking session or a relaxed glass of wine at home. I will work fulltime here, am 31, originally from Germany and intend to stay for at least a year. I can pay rent and bond in advance, so no worries about that. I would be happy to just come by and to get to know you. You can also call / txt Lea 🙂
Hello! :D I am in my early thirties and work as a Security Manager. I am friendly, sociable and love to spend time on my hobbies which are sailing in summer and skiing in winter. I keep fit with gym 5 times a week and enjoy weekend brunches with friends and flatmate. I'm very easy going, very respectful, and importantly neat and tidy. I am looking to rent a room with someone who works full time like myself. I am very happy to contribute to the housework and help to stock communal items like toilet paper and cleaning products. Sound interesting? Send me a message to arrange a meeting. And please check out my linked profiles; Facebook, Insta or LinkedIn :D
I'm incredibly tidy and polite, although I do normally like to keep to myself - I really enjoy making the communal areas clean, comfortable and welcoming Sometimes I listen to music a little too loud but I will invest in some headphones My favourite things are sinus stimulants (I often have my diffuser on or scented candles lit), soft fabrics, flora & fauna and making people smile
I moved from Daylesford to a temporary apartment, and I'm looking for a place to stay long-term. I'm a hardworking student and I'm friendly and respectful. I like making art and music, exercise, going to the pub, reading and studying.
