hi, my names aaron, 36 year old sparky looking for a share house. im pretty quiet and work afternoon shift. very neat and tidey and considerate of other privacy and space. if interested, let me know and if you d like to ask me any questions :) cheers aaron
I have been living in share-houses since university, and genuinely enjoy the experience. I'm a pretty chill and flexible flatmate - not fussed by much. i would consider myself to be: open, flexible, communicative, friendly, social - but also desire (and respective of peoples) individual space. I'm not partying mid week much these days (or even weekends if i'm honest) .... but definitely love a nice glass of wine or two after work, or in the sun ... I'm looking for a share house (not a huge fan of apartments) with at least 3 rooms/flatmates (myself included).
I am a sensetive and respectful polynesian guy from NZ. Love to make friends and laugh and smile. Happy nature and protective of people i love. I work at bunnings in springvale so if you need anything...wink wink lol. I feel i am fair in nature and strong in faith and just want to experience a nice happy, life with people who are kind and love to have fun. 😉
A bit about me: I'm 23, I’m studying and working part-time. I'm a social person, so I'd like to live with someone who I can be mates with, have a drink, and spend time although I also am super conscious of personal space and downtime after work/study. I’m sharehome-trained, neat,easy-going, considerate and caring about who I live with. In terms of interests I’m a pretty run-of-the-mill guy: into sports, music, films, traveling. I like to go out but also stay home watching netflix. Let me know if you think I’d be a good fit! Best, Mauricio.
Hi, I'm Callum, 27, I work in a call centre Monday to Friday and have 1 (part time) semester left of a business degree. I've lived in a couple of share houses and consider my self to be a top notch house mate. I'm clean, organised, polite, and considerate. I'm generally up for a chat and enjoy living in a positive, social atmosphere. I work pretty standard Monday - Friday 9-5. I also go to the gym or for a swim every morning before work so I tend to be up and out of the house pretty early. I'm pretty social, so I generally have weekend plans to get out and see friends.
Hey Matty here, just noticed you have a room for rent and was curious if it’s still available? A bit about myself, I’m 27, easy going, fun to have a conversation with ‘especially with a drink or two’. I’m neat and tidy enough. I’m naturally open to suggestions.. I’m a qualified plumber by trade and I enjoy what I do. I also go to gym most week nights It’ll be rude to say no to a beer so I spend a lot of time out socialising with mates! I also love going out for a ride on my motorbikes and going for a surf!! Looking forward to hearing back from you Cheers
Hi I'm Belle, I am new to the area, moving for a new job as a nurse at the Alfred. My time off I'm always outdoors, I love horseriding, skiing, surfing and big on travel. Also a photographer and coffee addict. Would like to move in with other hard-working individuals who enjoy their down time but also like to socialise too :) I am an easygoing person, looking forward to meeting other like-minded people.
Would prefer to pay rent monthly, in full, but flexible on that if need be. I keep to myself and tidy but very capable of being social and having a good time. I am working full-time, 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri, so on weekdays it's early to bed early to rise. I'm a regular runner, I occasionally workout, I love pets but am currently without. I rarely smoke unless I'm at work, so if its an issue I'm more than happy to not smoke at all while home. Any questions feel free to send me a message :)
My names Jenna and I'm a 21 year old gal moving to Melbourne from the Gold Coast in early 2019. I've landed a job as a registered nurse and looking for a place to live! I'm a pretty easy going person who enjoys being active. Although I enjoy socialising, I like my home to be a tidy and peaceful place and I'm very respectful towards others and their belongings, and understand the need for personal space. Being a nurse, I'll be doing shift work hours, so most of my week nights are pretty low key. Of a weekend I'm mostly out and about with friends, adventuring in mother nature or enjoying a cheeky beverage or two at a local bar. I'm just chasing a place with some mellow vibes and good people :)
With extensive rental experience both in Australia and overseas, we are both very well versed in household etiquette and pride ourselves on being tidy, respectful and friendly housemates. We enjoy peaceful weekdays around work and spending weekends being social, going out or being active. We are happy to live with pets as we have none of our own and we are non smokers. We are currently looking for somewhere to live, ideally commencing at the start of January. Parking required as I have a vehicle. For the moment a commitment of 6 months would be ideal, with the option to extend if all parties are happy.
I am 24 years old. I work as a nanny/Child Educator. I have just moved back to Australia from living in London. I am wanting to move to Melbourne in November/ December this year. I am currently in the process of finding a full time job as a nanny or a pre school teacher . I am very social, enjoy traveling, love fitness and go to the gym daily. I am clean/tidy person. I love a good chat and making new friends. I enjoying going out for coffee/brunch and enjoy having a drink on the weekends. I like to have my independence during the week and be respectful of the house mates.
I'm looking for somewhere to call home for about 6 months whilst I do some work in Melbourne. I'm working in the CBD for a digital agency. I specialise in website development and work on big projects such as the Australian Open. As a house mate, i'm clean, respectful and pay rent on time. I live in Darwin usually and have a partner i'll be going back to see every few weeks. Prefer to live closer to the city but willing to travel for the right place. Shoot me a msg if you think we might be a good fit, i'm ready to move in now. Currently staying at a hostel in North Melbourne.
Hey there! I'm Ivy, from good ol' Byron Bay on a quest to Melbourne to study my love, Photography, at RMIT in Feb. I am currently studying childcare and working as an assistant educator in a childcare centre (from that fact alone you know i have good patience and am a pro at cleaning up icky things). The things i enjoy when i'm not working or studying are; - going to gigs - reading in parks, or reading in libraries with really comfy chairs - making collages - taking piccies of people and of the bands i see (I run a music blog with my current roommate that i do photos for) - listening to copious amounts of music (psychedelic rock/lofi/dream pop/alt rock is my jam, i can link you some playlists) - watching sitcoms like the office 'n parks and rec, or the occasional terrible rom-com House-mate wise i'm very calm and easygoing, clean, tidy and respectful of personal space. I very much enjoy my own space too, i'm a massive introvert so i'll probably spend most of my time at home in my room studying or listening to music. Despite this i'm still always up to hang out and share some tunes or go to a gig with you or something ! Also I currently live with a vegan so i'm used to not cooking or eating meat in the house if that is necessary. Message me with any more Q's! (or if you want me to link you some playlists) Thanks!
Hi there, I am moving to Melbourne (from Sydney) in January 2019 to undertake postgraduate study. I am pretty quiet during the week. On weekends and in my spare time I like running and socialising. I’m also looking forward to exploring Melbourne and understanding AFL. I am a tidy housemate, I clean up after myself and contribute to routine cleaning. I like spending time with housemates over dinner/drinks and am respectful of personal space :)
Hi! I'm making the move to Melbourne from Adelaide next year to start working in the CBD as a grad economist and embracing that 9-5 life. I have experience living in a share house and can confirm I do my dishes, keep common areas tidy, and will close my door if my room becomes a mess so you don't need to look at it. Would love to have more of a home than a house vibe. I'm always up for a drink or four but not really interested in a party house. I don't know that many people in Melbourne so I'm really looking forward to moving in somewhere where I can be friends with my housemates and get out and about. Bonus points if you'll play board games with me. Flexible with location as long as close to public transport and within half an hour from the city. Looking to move sometime in early-mid January!
Message me! I have early bird! I work full time with kids with autism at a primary school. In my free time, I play sports (ice hockey, powerlifting) which keep me pretty busy during the week. I also like to ride my bike, go for walks/runs, go to cafes, listen to music, and read. I like my Netflix but am not one to watch much TV. I'm vegan -- huge bonus to vegan/vego houses! I'm mindful of electricity, gas, and water usages. I know how to recycle. I try hard to limit my rubbish. I'm like a nice mix of hippie and yuppie. I have a pet rabbit. She's a floppy eared mini lop. She's desexed and very cute, sweet, and clean. A bit hesitant and shy (like most rabbits) but loves (LOOOOVES) pats. And food. I've been keeping her in my room which I'm happy to keep doing. You hardly know she's there. I can provide references from previous housemates to attest to her cleanliness. I'm quiet and like a quiet place to come home to. I'm respectful of fellow housemates and common areas, am pretty clean and tidy (but not a neat freak), and always pay rent and bills on time. I generally do my own thing. I'm out and about and talking to people all day and appreciate some recharge time at home, but can be up for a chat! LGBTI friendly, non-smoker. I don't have a car so parking isn't an issue and I won't take up a parking space. I ride my bike (push bike) and need a place close to public transport. I can move in from December, flexible move in date.
Hi, I'm Ellie. I am 21 and currently finishing my nutrition science degree with the intention doing my masters in dietetics next year. I'm quite a social person, love to cook, more than happy with pets and have quite a few plants. I'd love to be able to move into a fun social house and make some new friends!
I am a country girl at heart, however been living in Melbourne for the last 5 years. I have my own business so I keep very busy with that. During the week I am pretty low key although enjoy a good chat over a glass or wine and consider myself pretty laid back. One weekend I usually keep pretty social and like to keep active out and about without being a wild party animal. I'm very respectful of others space and cleanliness. I am the sort of person that would be happy to drive flatmates somewhere if free and love to cook. I love catching up with mates for brunch or dinner and hope to find that too in a flatmate should they want to on a whim get out of the house. Some of my previous flatmates have become lifelong friends so I hope that suggest im ok to live with.
Endlessly curious. Super punctual (time is relative of course). I write a lot of things. And attempt to make films and creative stuff. A low low maintenance creature (that's me) to live with. I'd like to find a place where I can get a big bookshelf and bring all my books from QLD down to me finally. I work full time, and then also work more on the creative stuff. #strugglingwriter. I'm a habitual explorer of what's around town. I've lived in Melbourne for a year and half. I'm in love with the idea of hiking. I also bike around because why not (it's so much cheaper). I'm easy to get along with, easy to live with, easy to chat with. I make repeated attempts to do more cooking. I keep getting nudged to tell a bit more about me and I'm running out of things to say that would be relevant. I respect people's spaces. I have a 4K tv. I'm in the market for a new bed. I'm a minimalist (or at least I try to be. I'm from Brisbane originally. I'm in love with cinema and Ulysses, baseball and existentialism.
