Hey there. I'm a 22 year old student originally from Queensland looking for a new place to stay. When I'm not working or studying I'm mainly into sport (footy, cricket, football), also love driving around Victoria discovering cool places. I'm also fond of the odd random 2 week trip overseas, especially if it involves skiing and/or apres-skiing. As a flatmate Pros: - pay my rent - respect other flatmates - do dishes - don't smoke Cons: - possible late night pseudo-political discussions - don't smoke
I'm a professional in my 20s and have just relocated to Melbourne. Looking for: - Either a Private room with private bathroom OR Ensuite room OR Studio/1 bedroom apt/granny flat - ALL Bills Included - Furnished - Near public transport with easy access to the City/ Amenities or Near Enough (Preferably within 20 mins or so) - A month to month or 3 month lease to begin with, would be nice - just to figure out how the place fits my schedule moving forth, as I am relocating here from the Gold Coast =) I am social but also like to have my own space at times when I'm working on my projects. An occasional glass of wine or desserts over movies and checking out new places is what my mates and I usually do. I'm always up for Roadtrips/Long Drives, Exploring & Brekky for Dinner or anytime of the day! :D As I am relocating, I am more than open for suggestions on places to check out in Melbourne- and you're also welcome to join in on the fun if you're keen on such things!
* I require a carpark * Quiet place as I need to study for expensive exams * Clean and considerate people, who promptly clean up after themselves * Need bills included May stay for 6 months depending upon house arrangements All that said, I'ma pretty easy going person but I consider myself considerate as well.
Hi, my name is Maike (female, 29) I am a PhD student and I work full time. I am respectful, easy going and I am a non-smoker. I enjoy having a good chat and the occasional dinner/wine together but also give people their space when needed. In my spare time I like to go out with friends, bake and cook, travel and dive.
I am a Canadian in Australia for the first time on a Working Holiday Visa. I am a respectful roommate that loves a good conversation and a social household. Cleanliness and minimalism is definitely a priority of mine as mess, especially in smaller units, can leave the space feeling small and cluttered. Very easy going and approachable. Have experience with many and few flatmates. Love board games, pints, walks, gym and guitar
Hi! My name is Claire. I have been living in Jan Juc/Torquay on the Surf Coast for the last 5+ years (was in Melb prior to that). I'm making the transition back to Melb for work. I've been working part time for over 2 years as a language teacher at Deakin Uni (in Geelong - but transferring to Melb). I also do a bit of casual teaching and other odd jobs on the side. I'm honest, fun, respectful, social, independent, clean and think I make an awesome flatmate :) I do a lot of yoga, like being out and about outdoors and also surf (will prob spend a bit of time down on the coast with friends and at the beach etc on weekends - which you're welcome to join in on!), love adventures and festivals, a social drink and cooking dinners with others (among many other things), but also like down time, space and quiet. I'm into keeping a balance in life in all respects - health, socialising, work etc. Looking for a place with flatmates who are social, friendly and like a nice, clean homely space to live in and share. Looking for something long term.

We are international students coming from Bangladesh. We will be attending Swinburne University of Technology. We're looking for affordable accommodation close to campus. Mature age F student, 50s, english, speak a little french/portugese, studying arts/languages/primary teaching, working, reliable, with refs, vegetarian, active, enjoys healthy lifestyle, loves animals & nature,a bit of cooking/baking, gardening, sketching, cuppas, log fires, good books, foreign films and homely homes with people with similar interests. Looking for a home not just a room. I don't want to live in a household ruled by tv, commercial radio and newspapers, so count me out if that's you. I'm a bit of a greenie, who respects the environment and recycles, doesn't use chemicals, likes natural smells like fresh air and fresh flowers. I treat the home as a sacred place that is welcoming and great to come home to, a place where we feel welcome and comfortable to be ourselves with the highs and lows life deals out to us. I like lots of cuppas while I am working & will make them for you too, and checking in with the people I live with, making sure everyone's ok, sharing a cuppa or a feast, or a trip to the markets, and the chores of course, not ocd about housework, but tidy and willing to muck in to keep household running smoothly. Work from home part time so require that bit of office space. Not decided on location, inner suburbs, quiet leafy streets, or outer suburbs with lots of greenery.Open to suggestions if right household/share situ. Also flexible with moving, just have to give 28 days notice on my current tenancy.I'm trying to edit my locations to a broader area but I can't seem to update it for some reason, so include me in your area please!
Hi :) Im Linda, Im half irish half spanish so look Spanish with an Irish accent lol. I'm a pretty chilled person, easy going and laid back. I'm quite a very clean and tidy person and I'm very used to shared accommodation as I have lived in shared house on and off over the last 10 years. I work full time and study as well so I'm not around very much and in my free time on a Saturday I like getting out and about, catching up with friends, being outdoors and Love being out in the sun when its here and i can get the time. And also like a night out every other weekend. I like to interact with my housemates when I'm there or cooking etc but do also keep myself to myself quite a lot. Hello! I'm moving to Melbourne from Sydney in late August/early Sept. I’m 28 and work full time for a non-profit institute. I’ll be continuing in the same role in Melbourne. Excited to explore a new city and meet new friends. I'm an environmentalist who likes to cook and get involved in the community. Probably spend more time bingeing Netflix though.. I've lived in several share houses, and would now like to live with one other mature person somewhere more homely. Happy to start in a fresh new rental or move in to an established place where I can contribute to the house (have furniture). Prefer own bathroom (flexible) and a reasonable size bedroom, also need access to an outdoor area for my cat Lilo and all my plants so a house or ground floor apartment is ideal!
Hi! I’m 21 and I study community services online full time. Although currently in-between jobs I have a fortnightly income. I’m outgoing but also enjoy my alone time, respectful of other people’s privacy, tidy and easy to live with. Enjoy going out but also some down time too, I would be ideally looking for a non share room and available to move in within the next few weeks.
