Hey everyone! I am looking for a furnished private room to rent for a long term stay. Or at the very least a bed and BIR (a desk would be awesome too lol). Preferably in Brunswick, Ascot Vale, St Kilda, South Yarra, Elwood or anywhere that’s less than an hour from Southbank via public transport. Also, internet is a must! I arrive in Melbourne on the 13th of September and hope to move in as soon as I arrive. My budget is $700pcm, but of course the lower the better. 😬 A little bit about myself: I am an international student from Singapore, mid-20s and I will be studying Filmmaking this coming September. I like to spend my free time watching movies, sports and exploring new places with my camera(be it cool hipster cafes or jungle trekking). I'm pretty chill and sociable, some say funny but that's up to you to decide 😉. I don’t consider myself as a party person but I do enjoy music festivals and a few drinks every now and then. I'm respectful and tidy therefore I pay bills on time and clean up after myself. I’m also LGBTQ friendly and I don’t mind pets at all. 😬🐒 Now, as I am still in Singapore, I am not able to do a viewing in person. But I'm totally down for a video call interview/viewing if you are open to that idea. 😃 Cheers, Jerry 🤙🏼 :)
I’m responsible, considerate and respectful. I will clean up after myself. I value communication and integrity. I’m warm and friendly - can be sociable - but will also respect your space (I’m an introvert). I’m fine with pets. Non-smoker, don’t drink, prefer cosy gatherings to big parties. I’m also a devout Christian and my greatest passion is Jesus. I’m moving from Singapore to Melbourne in 2019 to pursue a teaching qualification at Uni Melbourne. I studied Literature for my Bachelor’s. I enjoy reading, writing, baking, illustration and connecting with people over brunch/coffee.
Hi, I am in my 30's, friendly friendly and easy going. I am looking for a room in a flat/house and I would require the room from September 2nd onwards dates for 4 weeks. Well... I’m italian and usually that means FUNNY :) I’m joking... but I could also cook sometimes ahaha I’m moving to Melbourne after 5 years in Brisbane to open my new business.... so I will be pretty busy but always keen for a good chat and a good glass of wine.
I'm 24 and I'm an Australian born Chinese raised in Brisbane, Queensland. I've relocated to Melbourne for work as an IT consultant so ideally I would love to live within close proximity to the city. A lot of my friends and colleagues describe me as quirky, a bit nerdy, and a bit weird (in a good way). I love binge watching netflix shows (like Rick and Morty, Brooklyn Nine Nine and some Anime), eating out, going to the arcade bars and playing some board games in my spare time. I'm a bit of a home body but also an outdoorsy person. I believe home should be my quiet and down-time sanctuary. But I also love going for cycles, hikes, checking out some quirky bars, eating out whilst stalking cute dogs at the cafes/dog parks. As for what I'm like as a housemate - I always clean up after myself and I'm really considerate of my roommates own space but always down to have dinner and chill out together. I'm really easy going, organised, reliable, down to earth and really respect people's own personal space. Would really love to find a place to stay long term. I have my own bedroom furniture, so not really requiring a furnished bedroom.
smoke free, friendly cat mumma here looking for a place to call home for a millennia while I work, read, explore and study. A little about us? I’m a slightly babbling, considerate 27yo studying in Community service travelling with my conservative meow-cat; Lexi. I like reading, red wine, weekend trips and trying new things and Lexi likes being alone and occasionally walking somewhat near you with judging eyes. You can expect a moderate level of cleanliness through years of gruelling effort I have mastered the task of keeping my things out of sight, one of the many attributes - such as my humour and good looks- that make me quite arguably the best candidate for your home 👌🏻 Lexi has also lived in high rise apartments before and comes with her own (arguably better) set of references. Let’s talk over a coffee at your local and see if I fit. Regards and wine wishes- Rhi
I’m 25 turning 26 next year in feb! I’m a post grad architecture student moving over from Perth to Melbourne, because like most post grads, we can’t find a job in Perth and I’m really hoping this move to will help with that! I love dogs, cats, any animal really! I’m pretty quiet, shy and keep to myself 70% of the time, but totally would love a space to live in that has some homey vibes because I’ll be new in town. The other 30% is me being loud when the football is on! (English blood ruins pretty deep) ha-ha! I travel a lot and that casual bar tender wage and lifestyle has helped me see a lot of the world so I’m also down for adventures all the time!
I’m from Brazil. I came to Melbourne to study and work. First I’m improving my english and them I’m going a post graduate. I am easy going, clean and focused on my studies.
I am after accommodation for myself looking to move sometime this week. I just graduated from Uni Adelaide with a Masters Degree in International Business Management and I’m moving to Melbourne for work. I like to cook, workout and shop. I am an outstanding discount shopper. RRP doesn’t do it for me. I could never! A glass of wine, or three every now and then. I can be social however, I do like to keep to myself from time to time. I would rather that my housemates are clean and clean up after themselves. I cannot stand when people are oblivious to mess. I am open to locations other than those listed on my profile provided there’s a bus stop nearby and the location is no more than 25 minutes into Melbourne CBD. No pets please.
I work full time for a company in the architecure/software space. Office currently located in South Yarra but relocating to CBD Interests - sports (although I haven’t played anything in the last few years) reading, indulging in the odd binge of a dodgy Netflix series, exploring new places to eat great food with friends etc. I'm hoping to find a house and housemates that I can call home and family who enjoy having a semi regular beverage or 2 and a good chat over 'family' dinner. I would also love to keep my fur baby with me. Mr Sooty D is a 7yo Black Cocker Spaniel x King Charles Cavalier that I rescued about a year and a half ago. He’s pretty chill, loves spending his days snoozing on the couch!
Hi, I am an international student and I am working part-time. I have previously studied in a boarding school and I am extremely mature and respectful of people's boundaries. I am pretty easy-going, amiable and love animals.
Dear future flatmate, This is all new to me. I am looking for a fresh new change in my life; looking to learn and grow and be out of my comfort zone a little. I work as a scientist by day and have a creative side. I am spiritual. I love learning new things. I love music. Have interests in real estate and entrepreneurship. I am looking for flatmates who are honest, kind, genuine and mindful of others. Someone who is fun and have a sense of humour, but not a party animal, not the type who would stay up late. Love to get to know the person. I like quietness during sleeping hours and looking for people with good hygiene and non-smokers. I have multiple interests and hobbies (gym, reiki, beaches, music and singing in a choir, reading, drawing, photography, going out, movies, games, relaxation, massages, meditation). Send me a message if you feel we have similar values. Happy hunting Cheang
Hey, I am Anna :) I am 25 years old, originally from Barcelona, I have been in Melbourne for over 4 years and always in share houses! I have been working in recruitment for almost 2 years and I am also studying a Bachelor of Business. I am a very social person and energetic, so I may go out for dinner/drinks or brunch during the week, also thinking about doing some volleyball. I also like outdoors and weekends away. I am also very chill and easy going person, happy to chill in the main room with my flatmates, watch some Netflix, dinner, or watch shitty tv. I am looking for a house that it is sociable and that everybody gets along with, kind of like building a little family.
Hey there! I am a third year bachelor student, currently doing my exchange at Monash University and studying Business& Economics. I am used to living with all kinds of people as i have shared my flat since the day I started studying at university. I am originally from Slovakia but i study in the Netherlands. I used to live with 6 other people and we never fought, we always followed some "rules" and were understandable towards each other. I think being understanding and able to patiently cope with different kinds of situations is what makes me a good flatmate as I have been gradually learning to have that quality. On the top of that, I am friendly, tidy and super social and communicative, therefore I would be always ready to have a chat and help out when needed. :) I would like to move in preferably in September and move out in December.
I have relocated from Perth to Melbourne . I am an EA to a CFO in the Docklands so will be out of the house week days. I am a foodie, like wines bars and like to exercise so will be out and about and going to sporting/any events. I also like my down time too and chilling on the couch with a wine or two. I am looking for a house or town house no apartments).
Hey all! My best friend and I are on the search for 1 person in the inner city suburbs We are wanting to team up and lease a new home (not looking to move into a house with housemates already) We are needing to move out of our current rental so are looking to move at the end of August or the first week of September We found a amazing house in Prahran and Richmond that we would need a 3rd person for - will upload photos A little about us (Alicia) I’m 24, I work full time in retail management, I love music and enjoy writing and singing in my spare time, I am very down to earth and usually spend my week nights at home watching reality TV, but also like to have fun and be social on weekends with friends. (Aiden) I’m 26, I work full-time as a Hairdresser in Melbourne CBD, love adventuring around melbourne in my spare time finding the best food and wine. On my weekends I am social and usually will be out on my weekends. On my week nights you’ll find me with Uber Eats watching reality TV. We are looking for 1 amazing human to live with long-term and not just housemates but hopefully friends We are LBGT friendly, no pets sorry, you would need to be working full-time, happy to sign a lease and have bond 😊 If this sounds like you DM me 🙌
Hi! My name is Kim, I am pretty easy-going and like a clutter-free living environment :) I am born and raised in Melbourne and love the unique character of this city. I enjoy cooking, gaming, cocktails, coffee and spontaneous activities! I try to get to the gym 2-3 times per week and play tennis socially. During the week I am a full time urban designer working at a planning and design consultancy. I generally am a quiet person who is conscientious of others. I enjoy helping with communal cooking or sharing the cleaning. I am looking for a largish room (ideally at least 4x3m) so I have plenty of space for a double bed and desk. I ride my bike to work so a garage or secure area to store it at night would be a plus! I am flexible with move in dates and would love to organise a place to move into sometime during September! Please don't send me messages about houseshares more than 2km away from my suggested suburbs.
