Hey! I’m a Sydney sider making the move to Melbourne for work (I work in marketing). I’ll be working the usual M-F hrs and tend to keep busy on weekends.. but am not opposed to a good Netflix binge! I’m easygoing and friendly. I appreciate a clean space (especially a clean kitchen). I enjoy working out, cooking delicious food and a cheeky wine on the weekend! I’m looking for a friendly and fun flat, but one that won’t bring the party home with them! Chat soon. Georgia :)
I'm laid back, always down for a chat but completely respect that not everyday is a talking day. Work part time. Final year degree student at Deakin. Totally in love with alcohol. Running, golf, cricket, reading and Play Station make up almost the entirety of my free time. And yeah, i'm not the one to invite friends over everyday, so you should expect a quite room mate in me.
Hi! I'm a 26 year old, finance professional from Perth, looking to make the move to Melbourne around early Feb. I've recently moved back to Aus from a stint abroad working in London, and travelling Europe the past year. I'm looking to rent a fully furnished double bdrm with max 3 housemates for around $300/wk incl bills somewhere close to the CBD. I've lived in a flatshare of 4 and 5 housemates the past few years with no issues, I'm clean and tidy, work normal hours and like to chill on weeknights and explore new places on the weekends. Lover of summer, the beach, music, good wine, a G&T, bit of a foodie, love trying new places and travelling! Cheers Adelene
Im 25 from Adelaide moving to Melbourne for work. Im a Physiotherapist working full time. Love sport, gym, socialising, going to the beach and having fun! Im easygoing, friendly, fun, neat and reliable. I don't know many people in Melbourne so I am looking for housemates who would like to hang out and socialise together. I am really keen to explore Melbourne!
Hello! I am an 18 year old professional who is moving to Melbourne from Brisbane in late January. I am staying with a friend for the first few weeks then will be looking for a place to share with some great people. I'm a tidy, friendly person who is always down for a chat or a beer! I will be working full time bartending whilst in Melbourne.
Hello world, I’m looking for a new home! I'd like to find a place for 6 months, but hopefully more! I currently work full time so have a steady income. At the moment I’m in a very loud share house and it is not working out, so I’m looking for something definitely more chilled and not party 24/7! I like to chat and get to know my housemates, but do enjoy my own space. I like to cook when I can but usually eat dinner at work. I’m quiet, friendly and respectful, I don't smoke, I rarely go out for big nights and if I do I’m a bit of a Mum as I’m not a big drinker. I’m not looking to share a room, I'd like to have a private room with my own space. I’m looking to find a place as soon as possible!! Help a sister out :) I’m looking for low rent, highest I’ll go is 240 inclusive a week due to wages I am on. Please contact me with any questions or more information as this is just a little brief.
I'm a 20 years old girl from Norway who just moved to Melbourne. Just got here after 5 months of travelling and now looking to settle down here and get a job. I’m social, independent, easy going and tidy. Like hanging out/grabbing a drink so looking for a social place. Care about the environment and making conscious decisions and would be great if I shared a place with like minded people.
Hi my name is Jane, I am 25 years old and a full time primary school teacher. I enjoy spending time outside, going to the beach, going out for brunch and having a few bevs. I love dogs, my family has a Golden Retriever. I am easy going, active and social. I am looking to move out to Hawthorn, Kew or Richmond and would prefer 1 year min stay. I would love to have my own bathroom please and thank you :)
I’m a 25y old Belgian girl currently living and working in Melbourne on a whv. I’ve been working in a restaurant for the last two months and lived in Caulfield North for a while. But now I have to look for a new place! Just so you know, I work full time and I’m financially stable. I’m a joyful and social girl, one of the reasons I love working in hospitality! I love cooking, but I’m not the greatest cook, but you can be the judge of that 😉. I’m pretty easy going and always up for a chat. Although I work full time and sometimes weird hours, so I might not always be around. I love sports and traveling and I prefer being outdoors. Hopefully I can bike to work, cause that makes me really happy and reminds me of Belgium 😉 Ask away if you have more questions. Hope to hear from you, Cheers Marie
Hi there! My name is Jen. I'm a 34 yr old professional looking for a like-minded flatmate to share a new space with. I recently started a new job in St Kilda, so want to move closer to that area and looking for someone who wants to look for a new place, too (Or an established home that suits). I'm not home a lot as I work pretty long hours, have a house full of furniture (sans washing machine, or whatever you need in your room), and two lovely cats who are exceptionally loving and friendly (Dog pictured is not mine). Their sort of like puppies in cat suits! I'm very easy-going, love to travel, play board games and have a chill old time. I'm not the kind of person who plays loud music until all hours of the night, so totally open to living with a shift worker. I am clean and tidy, but not a neat freak. I don't mind if the dishes get stacked and then a load done in the dish washer, I don't mind if you put your library of eclectic books in the living room, or leave your scarf on the couch. Honestly, we're both paying for the space, feel free to live in it. That being said, I think there's a nice balance between 'lived in' and 'outright messy'. I'm a great communicator, so always open to chats and talking about whatever comes up. ( Please take into account, if moving into an established place, I'm cool to get rid of as much furniture as needed). I am looking for a roommate, not a soulamte (have a lovely BF who lives overseas), so if we get along that's great, but I already have a best friend! You will get the house to yourself from time to time while I'm visiting my man in the US.
Only new to Melbourne so currently seeking employment however have money to support us until we find employment. I confirm I (chelsea) worked as an executive assistant at home in Ireland and my boyfriend (liam) is an accountant. We are a very friendly and outgoing couple who enjoys travelling and attending festivals :)
I’m Matt, 25 from Ireland and I work in the city as a recruitment consultant. Feel as though I’m very easy to get a long with and if I’m not working during the week I’ll probably be at the gym 😊 Do like to socialise at the weekend of course but I’m not a crazy party animal by any stretch of the imagination haha 😊 Any other questions just ask 👍🏻
I'm looking for a place ASAP, a private room preferably in the inner north - I'm not very picky just desperate to find somewhere! I'm a student at Monash, studying Communication and Media, and I'm a big music lover into a big range of genres. I also work for a catering and events company in the city. I love finding new things to do in the city, going to gigs and DJing, working on radio and stuff like that. I'm tidy, friendly and easy to get along with, I like having fun but also really value my down time.
We're two actors and a law student - all creative, easygoing, fun people who are looking to create a house where we can balance work/study with play (board games, beers, and boogies). We're looking for a third person/couple to join us to apply for some houses and to go on a lease. Would love to hear from you if you're interested in making a real home, a social home and also sanctuary for us to relax, recharge and feel safe to create and do whatever we wish. Looking for three bedroom houses for less than $600, or 3 rooms + study for up to $650. Ideally we'd like someone who'd be cool with us having friends over now and then and maybe a party on occasion, but also who respects each others privacy.
Hello, I’m looking for a room to rent in Prahran, Windsor, South Yarra, Southbank Or St Kilda. Ideally the closer to The Alfred hospital (Prahran) would be best as I’m studying there. Or alternatively looking for someone else to share a 2 bedroom apartment with. I’m a student who also runs a semi lucrative side business. Money isn’t an issue so I have no trouble with paying rent and bills on time. Can provide a reference for this too. I’m a busy person and easy to get along with. So if you need some time alone or nights alone, just communicate and we could work something out. I have a cat which I wish to take with me. He’s black and white and very domesticated and sweet. I’m very laid back, non judgmental, respectful of others, clean up after myself and have interesting stories to tell. Get in touch if keen xx
Hi! I'm Janne and I'm going to Melbourne on my Working Holiday 2. February. I have a place to stay until 10. February so obviously I am looking for a place to rent after that! I'm Norwegian, 27 years old and looking for a private room not too far away from the CBD. As a roomie I'm social and love to meet new people (but of course I also need time on my own and I respect that others do too). I prefer to live in a tidy and clean place where everybody takes responsibility. My plan for 2018 is to experience and explore the Australian culture and lifestyle, starting with Melbourne. I do not know how long I will stay, but at least a couple of months. I'm travelling alone, so I'm totally up for meeting new friends and team up for finding a place to live! If you need a friendly roomie from february, please message me. Janne :)
