I believe I am friendly, responsible and easy to talk to :) Looking for places around QUT but happy to live further as long as there are public transportations around that are convenient!

Hi there, My name is Serena Lovell and I am from the FIJI islands. I have just been admitted at the University of Queensland in the Biomedical Science program. My studies are top priority but I am a very affable and easy going person who loves to banter over a glass of wine but also do understand the need for downtime and privacy. Avid surfer and would join you in any outdoor action if you would ask. I am clean and reliable when paying rent and bills. I'm currently traveling in Europe and will move to Brisbane on the 13th February.
3rd Year engineering student, busy with work and study during the weeks but I like to socialise on weekends. I clean up after myself, considerate of noise and of other peoples spaces.
A 21 yo Singaporean female. Will be studying in UQ. I will be flying over on the 10 of Feb. I can be outgoing but at times, need my own 'me time'. I don't mind if you've got cat/dog(s) at home. I used to have both of them at home, in Singapore.
My name is James Cowling I'm 20, studying Architecture at UQ. Hoping to find a place to live before university starts again in late Feb. I've lived in Brisbane for the past two years in Taringa so looking around the same area, but open to new places. Easy to live with and respectful of personal space as well as tidy. Open minded and easy to get along with. Hoping to find other like minded people to live with and become friends for the next year.
Moving from Melbourne to study Health Science at UQ in 2018 - Looking for a social house to help the move a little easier! (Please also note that living in Melbourne generally means I cannot inspect the place, but i'm down to facetime/skype and meet you! ) I'm always up for a coffee and am looking for a household that get on and are fine with even having a chat in passing or sitting around for a beer. I care less about the quality of room (the only detail i'm really fussed over is if there is parking for my little SUV) Very well versed in shared living, 3 years on campus sharing with 9 others and 1 year off campus sharing with 2 boys. My current place is a 2 bedroom unit shared with a girl I met on Flatmates and we became friends who live together ~ If you think I might suit your place, throw me a message :)
Hi, I've been living in an awesome shared townhouse in Toowong for 3 years, time has come where the other house mates are moving out of Toowong. I work full time in Toowong so living somewhere close to here is preference so I can do a slow lazy walk or ride to work. I'm originally from Melbourne, moved up here for the consistent sunshine, never looked back. I always keep shared spaces clean and tidy after using them, but I'm no clean freak. I have no gender preference. I would prefer a two bedroom place, but also happy to do a three bedroom place if it comes to it. Always happy to chat and a laugh with the house mates when I see them and have done social outings with them in the past. I'm normally quite busy with full time work, my business after hours and other social events. Interested in starting a fresh place or move into an existing place. It will most likely be my last or second last year for renting before purchasing, so looking at 1 year minimum. My current lease ends 29th January, but happy to sign a lease a few weeks earlier if needed for the right place.
Hi, I'm a 2nd year UQ Physio student looking for a relatively new place to move in. Prefer to team up as well. I find myself reserved, clean, respectful, and easy-going & expect my potential flatmate to posses similar qualities. Most of the times I am busy with uni work or my online start-up. During my down time, I like to stay active, compete in team sports or go out. Definitely don't mind the occasional chat/beer or two, however, also know to give space. Have 3 years of experience sharing a household with other people and come to understand that good communication and common sense is essential. Hit me a message if you think we can work something out! Emre
I’m 20 years old pretty chilled out dude, spend a lot of time surfing with the friends, pretty easy to get along with and tidy up after myself, respectful of other people’s space and understand everyone needs time for themselvs, I work fulltime at mitre 10 chermside, have rented before hand and pay rent on time every week no matter what, in search of a place ASAP any further questions feel to contact me
I'm a psychiatric nurse (currently doing masters) and lu is a primary PE teacher. We are well versed in share house arrangements and have just moved back from England. We want to find a few people and establish a fine house residing in one of Brisbane's many fine Queenslanders around Milton, Paddington, Auchenflower, Redhill, Toowong or Indooroopilly. criteria needs: back yard, big deck, hills hoist, away from main road don't mind if its furnished or unfurnished we can always go hunting on kerbside collection days. pros: fine cooks (eat vege most days but partial to a porterhouse), clean, wine n frothies should be on the food pyramid, doggos (happy to accommodate for any canines) , posses a great record collection, house mates looking for friends not just occupiers, will participate in badinage, fit (lu netballs/yogas and I Cycle/swim) so it would be cool to share some exercise activities! cons: We are tall (L 6ft D 6ft7) and will therefore have occasional tall people conventions which even if you are vertically challenged would wish that you be involved in nutbush city limits or Yarns around the BBQ. Ill need some consideration during exam and assessment periods for sleep and study but other than that we cant wait to move out! If you feel like you want the same thing or a similar thing or even the polar opposite thing let us know and wed love to get the ball rolling for a move out date around end of February. oh and preferably people aged 20-30 who can be team players with communal cleanliness! 400 a week is what we are looking at for our room but can go down or a little bit up depending on the abode.
Hey everyone me and my girlfriend will be moving to the Brisbane from the UK in the middle of January 2018. We are looking for a place for us both to live in a shared house or team up. We can be flexible where but ideally somewhere with good transport links to both the city and the University of Queensland. We will both be working and I will also be a full time student at UQ. We are clean and tidy and a fun couple. We enjoy meeting people and socialising with others. I'm also a great cook (so I have been told) so I will certainly be cooking up some meals for you all to sample. We will be in Australia for at least 4 years (as per our Visas) so looking for a great place / house mates on a long term basis. Please get in contact if anyone is interested in either teaming up or have a room spare!
Hey I'm Sam and don't worry the dog isn't coming with me. I'm 25 yrs old, have lived in rentals, shared houses and student accommodation never had a problem with rent. Have done studying and full time work now looking into either more study or employment. Clean and courteous with other housemates. Communication is what makes or breaks a household. If you're my housemate I've got your back that's just how it is. Pretty laid back, meeting new people and new points of view on life is always cool. Being an introvert or extrovert is understandable and empathised. I'm from north Queensland. Travelled a bit sitting on 6/7 (Eventually I'll get to Antarctica) Have worked as an office worker to a shearer so have some experience and understanding of the workforce. For fun I enjoy hanging out, playing some sport or going for a ride down a mountain. Also enjoy playing a game or watching something.
I am a very balanced, easy-going and an understanding person. I like to keep my stuff clean and respect the privacy of others. I am friendly and often get along well with new people but also like to keep to myself at times. I am planning to study full time at QUT Kelvin Grove in Feb but currently located a fair way from the uni and thus why I am looking for accommodation.
Hey guys and gals, my mate Mitch and I are looking for people to team up with to find a new place in north bris In early feb. I’m 24 just graduated masters of architecture and looking for a cool house mate that will be clean and fun to live with, engage in intelligent conversations but also talk an equal amount of shit with. We need an atmosphere at home where We can chill out and be ourselves and sink bulk beers every now and then. Open minds are encouraged and positive attitudes are a must. We love playing music in the mornings to start our day and We’re always up for activities. We have found a few places that we’re keen on but haven’t locked in anything yet. We’re looking in Paddington, Auchenflower, Toowong, Red Hill, Kelvin Grove looking to pay around $600 a week split between 3 or 4 people. If you’re interested we can arrange a meet up and go from there! We also have a fridge and furniture, washing machine dryer, toaster etc Mitch mobile
Hi there! I'm a medical student from Toronto and have just moved to Brisbane to study at UQ. I'm social and outgoing but also respect privacy and space. I enjoy sports, fitness, food, and a good conversation! I don't drink or smoke (sort of health obsessed because you know... medical student). Would love to meet new people and explore beautiful Brisbane!
Looking to move ASAP. I'm 21 years old, heading into my final year of a Bachelor of Communications/Arts at UQ, and currently moving towards a new part time job. I've spent the last couple of years in a sharehouse with some friends from school, who have now moved away so I'm looking something new. I'm keen to live with like-minded people who are sociable but also respect personal space. I'm pretty laid-back and flexible so would be happy to fit into an established household or look to start one myself. I do need somewhere with a yard and a secure fence as I have a Cattle Dog Cross, Zoe, who will dish out endless licks to your face. She loves people and is keen to meet some new human friends. I'm big into sport - I've played a lot of cricket, soccer, touch footy etc. and follow pretty much all sports with interest. I also play guitar - but will refrain from whipping it out at any given opportunity (unless requested of course!). Message me if you've got a place to offer, or want to have a look for somewhere.
I'm looking for the perfect place for me and my beautiful dog, Gus (ask for pics, I promise you'll love him). I'm moving out of my current house in March/late Feb as my housemates are both moving for work. Sadly because of Gus I can't live in an apartment, as he needs a bit of space to run about and I'd feel terrible putting him in a tiny courtyard, so here I am, looking for a place with a yard! I'm keen to find a place to share with one other person. I've got some furniture and white goods, and I'm willing to purchase whatever is missing if I team up with someone. A little about me? I've always lived in Brissie (Except for a couple of years gallavanting overseas after uni), I work full-time as the CFO in a small company, and I spend my weekends out and about, often hitting up beaches and forest walks with friends and my dog. I don't party much, but enjoy a couple of wines on a Friday or Saturday night with friends (or potentially new housemate). Gus is a 1year old border collie X stumpy-tailed cattle dog. He's a quiet dog and only ever barks if there's a possum, cat or someone he doesn't know in the yard (he's been known to chase intruders!!) He's well-behaved and although he's an active breed, I exercise him daily and he's surprisingly more calm than most working dogs I've met. Although he's previously been used to being inside when I'm at home, he and I would be happy enough for him to be an outdoor-only dog if required.
Hi my name is Mátyás, 25 years old and I will be doing a 4 month internship at UQ, starting in February. With 25 years of experience in life, this young man has become rather social. During his years as a student, he has also optimized several other crucial skills including chit-chatting, cooking, drinking alcoholic consumptions and watching Netflix. Several other hobbies include photography, traveling, diving skiing, (jazz) music and playing the piano I found a wonderful place to live in West End, next to Coles, and I am now looking for people that are likeminded: having shared dinner, going out, watching movies, etc. Send me a message in case you’re Interested Cheers, Mátyás
