I'm a UQ student so looking to live nearby to uni. I spend most of my time at work or uni, but still looking for a sociable place to live and I'm always up for a chat. I'm a tidy person and respect personal space, so hoping to live with people looking for the same thing.
Hi, my name is Gus! I am 19 and have very recently moved from Cairns to Brisbane to study at UQ. I will be at uni from 8:30AM - 4PM from Mon-Thurs and working about two days a week so i need a room predominantly for study and sleep. I like to have the occasional drink/night out and I'm very easy going. I enjoy going for walks and drawing in my spare time. I'm looking for somewhere to move in ASAP for between 3-6 months (flexible) and would prefer a furnished room however it's not imperative. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi there!! We are looking for short term accommodation (4 weeks) and possibly longer, from the end of January. We are relatively new to Brisbane and are easy going happy people. We enjoy living a healthy active lifestyle with good food. We are both quiet, clean and tidy to live with and respectful of others space. Paul is working full time Monday through to Friday and Clare is casual, normally working 4 days a week.
Hi, I'm a 30 year old Masters student (Urban and Regional Planning), (B. in Climate Science) working in fine dining in the city. Looking for a quiet place to work on my thesis but also someone to have a beer/wine/giggle with. Keen on clean, neat and tidy spaces, and a peaceful home life. I spend my spare time going to beach, the gym and cooking/drinking wine, not necessarily in that order. I've lived in share houses all over Sydney and Brisbane and am always keen to meet new people/flatmates who become good friends. I come with one well-behaved, small, black and white desexed male cat - AKA Detective Mittens who keeps to himself, lives mostly outdoors (sleeps in my room at night) and doesn't require a litter box in the house.
Looking for a place to move out for the first time as i still live at home, would enjoy the experience of living with myself. About me: From Brazil, lived in Australia for almost 10 years now. I am a very organised and clean person, don't like to get into conflicts. I can sleep through everything, noisy house holds are no problems for me. I currently work at The Bagel Boys, both factory and stores, could always get some bagels for the house hold! Enjoy spending time alone, so ill spend most of the time inside of the room. Very open person to talk to, if you have any problems at all i am whiling to work on them! Hope to see you soon!
I'm 23, personally great to along with and non-smoker. I'm tidy, clean and respectful, and tend to keep to myself during the off-hours of the day. I'm outgoing, nice and open-minded. Currently studying B.Psych Science (Honours) @ UQ
I am extremely quiet, clean and conscientious, and spend a lot of time out of the house either working or studying in my room (BEnvSci student at Griffith University). In saying that i'm very personable and I am always down for a chat when other roommates are around. Live music is my lifeblood and am always down to go see a gig if that's what you're into. I also DO NOT own a car, so being close to several modes of public transport would be a plus :) which also means I wont take up any valuable street or off-street parking you may have!
I'm a psychiatric nurse (currently doing masters) and lu is a primary PE teacher. We are well versed in share house arrangements and have just moved back from England. We want to find a few people and establish a fine house residing in one of Brisbane's many fine Queenslanders around Milton, Paddington, Auchenflower, Redhill, Toowong or Indooroopilly. criteria needs: back yard, big deck, clothes line, away from main road don't mind if its furnished or unfurnished we can always go hunting on kerbside collection days. pros: fine cooks (eat vege most days but partial to a porterhouse), clean, wine, doggos (happy to accommodate for any canines) , listen to records, house mates that can be friends and wont isolate (all the time), will participate in badinage, fit (lu netballs/yogas and I Cycle/swim) so it would be cool to share some exercise activities! cons: We are tall (L 6ft D 6ft7) and will therefore have occasional tall people conventions which even if you are vertically challenged would wish that you be involved in nutbush city limits or Yarns around the BBQ. Ill need some consideration during exam and assessment periods for sleep and study but other than that we cant wait to move out! If you feel like you want the same thing or a similar thing or even the polar opposite thing let us know and wed love to get the ball rolling for a move out date around end of February. oh and preferably people aged 20-30 who can be team players with communal cleanliness! 400 a week is what we are looking at for our room but can go down or a little bit up depending on the abode!

Hi I’m Linlin, coming from China, a PHD Student of UQ. I’m out going, loving reading in my spare time, although the time is very limited. I am willing to make friends of different cultural background, so I want to look for an accommodation which has a big “family”. I love fitness and a member of the Fitness First. That’s why I want to live near Toowong, which is facilitated by this fitness club. If you happen to be a fitness fanatic, that’s great, we can accompany and supervise each other. An accommodation near UQ is pretty good, too. I’m majoring in Geology, which gives me a lot of chances to travel around China and taste different kinds of delicious food. That’s quite great experience. And of course, I myself am a good cook. I hope we can spare our spare time chatting, doing exercise, cooking and any kinds of meaningful things. And also, it’s our duty to respect others and keep the public area clean and tidy. Let’s get right to the point, I prefer to move in from Mid Feb. and will live for more than half a year. Please feel free to contact me, if you happen to look for a roommate like me. Best regards, Linlin
I am a fun and bubbly American about to pursue my Masters at UQ in February. I would definitely say I'm an extrovert, as I love meeting new people and exploring new places. While I will need my space once in a while, I love to chit chat, listen to music, watch movies, have a beer, etc. I am hoping to find flatmates who are social but will also respect the importance of studying, work obligations, etc. I've been living with roommates for quite a few years now so I definitely understand the importance of keeping the place clean and respecting the space of others. Looking for location that balances out UQ and the city center!
Hi there, My name is Serena Lovell and I have just been admitted at the University of Queensland in the Biomedical Science program. My studies are top priority but I am a very affable and easy going person who is always keen for a surf. I would also be working part time. I am from the FIJI islands but I'm currently traveling in Europe and will move to Brisbane on the 13th February. I am in need of a place or if you know of any close vacancies. I do hope to hear from you soon Thank you very much for your time Serena

Hello! My name is Maithilee, I am from Pune, India. I am a product designer and am coming to Brisbane to study a Master of Business at UQ. I enjoy exercising, dancing and eating healthy (well most times). My boyfriend, Abishek, is a lawyer and is coming to pursue his Master of Laws at UQ. He loves to read and can talk about any topic under the sun! We will be arriving in Brisbane on 1st of February. We are an easy going couple who love to travel and try new things. We are organized and clean up after ourselves. We enjoy good brews and wine! We are a social couple and would love to form meaningful friendships and a strong bond with our future housemate(s), and if the house has a pet friend even better! Cheers, Maithilee and Abishek
Very friendly, clean and tidy person. Loves singing and playing my guitar and keyboard (on the weekends at appropriate times off course) Likes to have a laugh and very easy going. I am a Clinical Theatre Nurse moving to Brisbane from Melbourne, as I've been offered a new job there! I start full time work on the 19th of Feb but need to find a place by the 12th of Feb. I love adventures, long drives, sightseeing, hiking, swimming, and flying (planes).
I'm pretty easy going. Not really phased by too many things in life. I work a couple of casual jobs and love having a beer and watching the cricket on the weekends. If you can relate, I'd love to meet you and your room mates and hopefully I can find somewhere to live. Preferably after a place in the inner-west suburbs, but not strict on that. Cheers!
I am an adventurous, friendly 20 year old girl from Norway. In February I'm starting my first university degree in Information Technology at UQ, and I'm looking for a room in a share house or to team up and look for a place together in Brissie from early February - early July. I'd love to be friends with my roommates, and do something fun together during weekends. As a person I am easy going and social, and I respect the need for privacy. I'm tidy and always on time with bills, and I don't smoke nor have pets. For fun I like to go out for drinks, binge Netflix, go to concerts, go hiking or relax at a café. I love a good craft beer or a nice cup of cold brew or tea. I am a huge fan of rnb music such as SZA, Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino and Kehlani. My favorite tv show of all time is The Office, so if you like this show we'll get along just fine! If you're interested, message me and we'll grab drinks or coffee to get to know each other before commiting to a lease!
Hi! I am a busy 31-year-old female professional working and studying at uni part-time. I've gone back to uni for a second time to pursue a career change and I'm graduating at the end of 2018, so I'm looking for a share for the coming year, or for a shorter period (e.g. six months or nine months) depending on what you may have available. A little more about me: - Fitness enthusiast that loves keeping fit; - Quiet, non-drinker, non-smoker... partying days are long behind me! - Away most weekends studying and visiting family; - Enjoys Netflix, travelling and running when I have the odd bit of spare time; - Tidy, clean, reliable, mature, respectful of others' personal space and privacy - I'm also happy to help take care of any plants or a pet that you might have. My budget is $220 per week (inclusive of bills), but I can be a little flexible around this if you are closer in to the CBD. More than anything though I'm looking for the right person. I understand that finding the right flatmate can be stressful (we've all been there) so I’m keen to find someone with similar personality and interests, and someone doesn't mind that I might not be around very much except for evenings - if you don't mind a fairly independent flatmate, I just might be for you. In return, I’ll be a helpful and tidy housemate who you can rely on :) What I'm looking for - - trustworthy and mature flatmate who is preferably of similar age, but anyone with a sensible outlook is okay; - furnished bedroom (study desk is a bonus); - someone who also prefers a non-party house; - ideally close to public transport, but I don’t mind walking a distance for a good express bus or train; - someone who is understanding of my schedule and doesn't mind having an independent flatmate rather than one who is home a lot - anyone who is studying and working as well I would love to hear from! Please note - I do require a furnished bedroom with a bed, as all of my things are in storage. I can't accept offers for unfurnished rooms at the current time. Sorry, also no outer suburbs please as I need to keep my commute time down). Please also note: I am taking a break from real estate agents so I am not looking to either sign on to a lease or take over a lease, apologies. Please feel free to ask any questions if you'd like to know more!
I work full time and live a healthy lifestyle. I have one quiet and clean adult cat that chills all day.
