Easy going, energetic, tidy, adventurous, I put the toilet seat down .. Well most of the time anyway.. Hahaha I'm looking for a furnished room while my house is being built, approx 4-6months. I work full time and travel about once a month interstate and some times internationally. Thanks, Mark
Hello, we are a french couple (both 27 y.o.) and we spent 9 months travelling all around Australia. We just reached Brisbane 3 weeks ago, and we both found a Job (Isabelle in hospitality in part-time and Arnaud in a web agency in full-time). We would like to stay at least 1-2 months in Brisbane, and Arnaud should get a sponsorship in one month : so we will probably stay longer (one-two year or more). We both are fluent in english, and are passionate about music, video games, travelling, food, and meeting new people. We used to live in a share appartement in Paris, so we know how important it is to be respectful with roommates (keep the place clean, respect privacy etc.). We don't have pets here in Australia, but we have a cat in France so if you have pets that won't be an issue : we love animals! We are smokers but we of course never smoke inside the house/appartement. If you want to know more about us, let's meet ;)
Hoping to move to Brisbane next year and would love to find some great people to live with. From a small country town but have been living in Canberra for last two years. I'm a friendly, outgoing, kind and relaxed person who doesn't like to take things too seriously. I love music, sport (AFL and basketball), food, travelling, dogs, fitness, and having a laugh with mates. I am also very respectful of other people's space and am happy to clean and keep things tidy.
Hi everyone, I'm a 23 year old Victorian who has just finished 5 years of uni studying osteopathy and have picked up work in Brisbane in 2018! I'm looking to move in with neat, reliable, respectful guys or girls mid Jan. I'm definitely not someone who wants to live in your pocket and hang off you all the time, and prefer the pub vibe to club vibe I'm a pretty health conscious and exercise orientated and driven individual. Some of my favourite things in life include the beach, exercising; all music genres and SUN! If you are on the lookout for something similiar, don't hesitate to say hi so we can have a chat!
I'm a pretty easy-going girl, I enjoy great conversations and love to have a good laugh. I'm easy to get along with and I also appreciate my personal space from time to time. I'm an awesome cook (if I can say so myself), and I like trying new recipes... Although ironically, I eat very little. If you live with me you will enjoy these recipes at least once! My hobbies include reading, writing, drawing, and travelling. And cooking. I'm tidy and I always clean up after myself. I've recently gotten into jogging too and I'm hoping to keep that up. I've previously enjoyed living in a share house on the Gold Coast (I picked up surfing while I was there), and I'll be moving to Brisbane to focus on my academic research. I'm currently in Hobart so let me know if you'd like any Tasmanian souvenirs! :) Send me a message if I sound like your potential flatmate.
We're a queer trans couple with a doggo and a cat. The doggo is a border collie, he's super friendly and well house trained. The kitty is called Loki because he is a tiny trickster god. We're into music, photography, and crafting things
Hi potential new housemate. I am a 27 year old professional, working full time and studying my MBA part-time. I am impeccably clean and respectful. I do travel a lot for work and on the weekends I enjoy cooking and socialising. On weeknights I am almost always doing yoga, F45 or working on assignments. Looking for a friendly, clean housemate who I can share a meal and wine with occasionally. I do not have any pets but I love animals. I work in the suburbs so I have a car and will need car parking. Preference is for a 2 bedroom apartment in either Toowong or West End.
Hey there! My current lease is ending in February and am looking for a new place to live :) I work full time and study part time at QUT. On my days off I like catching up with friends or going on adventures outdoors like hiking or going to the beach. I like to keep a tidy home and will help to make sure to leave the communal areas of the house clean. I like cooking and dont mind having a good ol chat while eating or binge watching tv shows. Looking for someone or a group of people to move in with around my age; i have furniture for my room as well, and dont mind chipping in for furniture for the communal areas :)
I'm a 27yo Czech studying full-time Psychotherapy at UQ. I have already shared a living several times, so I know how to be mindful and considerate about your personal space (clean and tidy), but I'm still friendly and easy-going. I enjoy casual socializing and chats, or occasional gatherings at home, but not much of a party animal anymore, and will definitely appreciate to have some privacy to study and chill on my own, too . Hence, looking for a single room + ensuite/own bathroom, preferably walking distance from UQ St. Lucia campus as I often pull long nights at the library and have beach volleyball there 3-4 times a week. I'm currently staying in a share-house in Spring Hill and have the lease till mid Feb but might be able to leave before the lease ends. I like travelling, volleyball, everyday workouts (no fitness freak, though), pizza&wine sessions, and animals - if there was a dog or a cat in the house I wouldn't mind :) If you're like-minded and think we could work out as flatmates and eventually as friends, leave me a message :) Cheers!
Hello! My name is Dustin and I'll be re-locating to Brisbane for a job mid November. I'm from Southern California and like to surf, ride bikes and have some beers with friends in my spare time. I'm pretty low key and my work keeps me busy but I'm always down to BBQ and hang out!
I am doing my PhD on marsupial brain evolution in UQ (for the next 3+ years), so I need a place to stay. I play the guitar occasionally, have a road bike but will prolly be spending most of the time in the Uni. I'm an easy-going guy with plenty of international experience (have been living in the USA, Hungary, Bulgaria, UK and for the last 10 years in the Netherlands), love having a dinner with the housemates every now and then, like board games, craft-beer and nature.
Three UQ students in last/second last year of Bachelor degree. We are friendly, cleanliness oriented and responsible people. We respect other people's privacy but love to hang out in free time. We are looking for places with at least 3 bedrooms for each of us.
Hi :) I'm currently working as an Executive Assistant and studying Law full time. Keeps me super busy so you probably wont see much of me during the week! On weekends I like to binge watch greys anatomyt or have a few drinks with friends. I like to keep fit and healthy, but won't mind a sneaky cheat meal here and there! I'm very mindful and respectful :) Thanks
Hey! I'm an Electrical Engineer coming to Brisbane for my Masters Degree from UQ. Extremely friendly guy, easy going, super clean and love to go out and explore the city. Not a party guy sorry but like to hang out with friends and absolutely respect one's privacy. It would be nice to have a gym buddy. I can cook and also love swimming or go out for biking. Looking for flatemates male or female (doesn't matter but max 3) to share a flat or a property somewhere around 250pw all amenities included with separate bathroom and have a pool preferably. It's a new adventure for me so I'd like to live with cheerful & very friendly people so I don't get homesick :D PS: A cat is ok for a pet. I got dog allergy :( and open for team-up esp with students!
Hello! I'm an international student from Singapore, currently a full time student in UQ. I'm looking for a place to move in in January 2018. I like my space but do like to interact and socialize. I'm cool with teaming up and hopes to find a place that is comfortable, and most importantly within walking distance to UQ.
Hey there! I'm a psych student at UQ who is nearing the end of my undergrad degree but will likely be staying at uni for the next few years. I am pretty clean and a decent cook. I work a few days a week and the other days I'm at uni. I do have a small dog who lives for eating, sleeping and going for walks. She is pretty chill with other animals and adores people. I'm breezy about move in dates but would love to be in my new place before mid jan. The place I'm in currently is looking to offload some furniture so I do have the option of bringing whitegoods/ living room furniture etc. if needed
Hi, I have experience living in a share house so I understand the importance of respecting everyone else that lives there. I am a tidy and relaxed person, I come with a cute dog and plants. I have a couple jobs that I work during the week and on weekends and I am a full time student studying nursing and paramedics. I love to be social, hanging out in common areas would be ideal but, like everyone, I like chilling in my room as well. My dog's name is Blue, he is basically a mini red cattle dog and he's almost 8 months old. He is house trained and super friendly, he loves people and other dogs. He currently lives inside with my current housemates and I and we don't have any issues with him.
Easy going, chilled, relaxed and happy. Very tidy, clean, organised. Work self-employed professional based mainly in or near CBD/Fringe, presently part-time but now moving towards a full-time role. Exercise (walk/gym) every second day. Presently outside smoking but have begun transitioning to vape!
Hi! I'm Kirana, I'm a Psychology and French undergrad student at UQ from Indonesia :) I'm a tidy and clean person and I love to cook (maybe we can cook together sometimes or exchange recipes!) I love music and animals and I'm pretty easygoing. I'm never late to pay my rent, and I'd be glad to follow house rules. I'm looking for a place to move for the next semester, fully furnished (preferably with internet and bills included in the rent) and I'd love a place with international students as I love learning other cultures and foreign language.
Hi guys. Looking for a safe, friendly, welcoming space for myself and my cub (cat) named Phoenix. He is purely indoor. So your space would need to be indoor animal friendly. Screens on doors and windows etc He is tops - 6 yrs old. Lover of belly rubs and cuddles. Fully house trained, clean, desexed, micro chipped, vaccinated, well behaved - and so am I Haha You must be a decent person and an animal lover. Clean. Respectful. Not in this purely as a business deal, but also doesn't mind that another human is in their space, doing what ever they like - within reason of course! Feeling welcome, for both the cub and I, is always a good thing! I can't stand drama or tension or passive aggressiveness. Open, honest communication is where it's at. Am open to taking over a Lease for a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, also. Or, doing a team up for a 2 bed, 2 bath, in Brisbane. Both on Lease. Bills and rent split evenly. Get at me if you're not weird 🤓 Thanks!
Hi! I'm Sophie, I’ll be 22 early next year and I’m just finishing up a psychology degree and graduating this December. Next year I’ll be doing post grad psych study and/or working. I like eating pizza, binge-watching TV shows and I like to think I’m quite friendly and easy going- always up for a chat and to hang out but also like my own space! I'm looking to move sometime between late November and end of January :)
JANUARY 2018 onwards only! We're a young married couple looking to relocate to Brisbane from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia sometime in January 2018. We are both working professionals. Looking for a fully furnished ensuite bedroom for 250aud (max) inclusive of all bills. If however you are looking to team up, we're all ears! Since we do want the ensuite and don't own a car, so you may take the porch for yours! We're clean and tidy, and a believer in personal space. We love animals too, so if you've got a furkid we don't mind helping out with the pets.
