MY JOB: I'm a high school teacher and i work full-time and fairly lengthy hours, so weekdays you will hardly see me. I will be out the door by 630am generally and not home until 5-6pm. I am also studying my masters, so that ties me up a fair bit also. I am ver career-focused and am looking to live in a place that's comfortable and with people that understand my commitment to work. I also work on the south side, so anywhere further north than kedron/newmarket area is a no sorry :) MY HOUSE HABITS: I am a clean person, and clean as I go. I prefer order and routine (such as shared responsibilities like cleaning rosters) where everyone plays their part in keeping the place clean and comfortable. I currently only have my bedroom furniture, and a nice kitchen table if you need one. I will also be bringing some kitchen utensils/appliances. I am an INTROVERT when at home - only because all my energy is spent on teenagers all day at work. So i retreat to my room for much needed napping and sanity. I will need a built in robe as teachers have to change clothes every day (trust me the kids notice outfit repeaters...) I do have a car- but do not mind street parking. I would prefer a place with a washing machine and reliable wifi (for work and study). Weekends I am generally home working on projects, studying or watching anime (as I am a huge fan of japanese culture - I travel to japan yearly). ABOUT ME: I moved to brisbane from adelaide at the end of 2016. I have been in a couple of share houses over this time and am seeking a mature, and responsible, yet comfortable place to live. I am vegan and love to cook, so you'll usually see me in the kitchen experimenting with all sorts of foods. I also love the gym and work out regularly - so between work, study, gym, you will hardly see me. I am friendly, conversational, and approachable - but I am not looking to make friends in a share house. Just live comfortably with friendly people. Please text me if you would like to know more.
G'day, Im Kane. Im 36 and currently working full time in the city as an ESL teacher. I also recently graduated as a Speech Pathologist which I am looking to start a new career in. While already working, I'm looking for work as an adult SP in hospitals around the state. So honestly if I get an opportunity to work regionally out of Bris I will very likely take it. So I could be staying here for anywhere between a few weeks to a few months, just depends on the opportunities going. Im looking for somewhere ideally within half an hour or so commute or a bike ride to the city, but could do further out too. Currently everything I own fits in my car and I would need a bed. Currently housesitting until June 10, so would like to move then or before. About me: Im an independent grown up, adverse to drama and know how to clean up after myself. I'm into fitness, speak Spanish and enjoy roots and reggae music. If you think I could fit into your place short term and would like to know some more about me , don't hesitate to drop me a line,

Hey! I’m Steph. I’m friendly, clean, tidy and respectful and looking for some likeminded people to live with. I like to have a social and an active household, while also being respectful of each others space. I enjoy a bev on the weekends or going for adventures, and I work during the week. I've just come back from working the ski season and traveling in NZ, and I'm now working as a digital designer. I love coffee, music, design and travelling. Swing me a message if we’d be a good fit :) I'm looking to move around the end of July - start of August.
I'm an easy going person, very open minded. Love to cook! Pretty much a Vegetarian with the odd slip up. Clean and reliable. I'm a social person, pretty much always up for a chat! I am respectful of others space as I also like having my own space. Super chill, love the occasional deep conversation. Also love having family dinners, and the occasional drink. Looking for housemates that are relaxed and easy going. Just got back from traveling overseas for 7 months, trying to find some new hobbies and a full-time job. I recently spent 3 months living in an Ashram/Yoga Retreat, so I enjoy regular yoga and the yogi lifestyle. Before traveling I had been studying Nutrition part time, might be continuing late this year. Also looking to start a new share house! Keen on creating a really chill, fun, homey, and environmental conscious home. Would love to have a house or townhouse so I can start some veggie gardens. Let me know if you would like to team up. :) Looking forward to hearing from you!
Currently working casually & studying part time Aviation at Griffith. I've lived out of home now for 4 years & know what expected to keep the home clean/happy. I love travelling & have been overseas twice this year already. Preferably looking for an easy going home or housemate to team up with.
Howdy! I work full time in healthcare Mon_Fri and like to keep busy on the weekends with food and wine festivals, art galleries, live music, hikes etc. I'm a pretty good cook-especially when it comes to random acts of baking, and Mexican. I'm old enough to pick after myself and perceptive enough to leave people to their own devices when needed... but I guess everyone on here says that! Love the odd pun and dad joke, will binge watch Netflix with you! I really would like to team up in the Toowong area, somewhere with a yard for my beautiful labradoodle, Sigyn. She doesn't shed or smell and has lovely manners. Ideally would like to share with a young professional who is funny and outgoing and will have a cheeky vino with me!
Hey guys! I’m Laura, I'm 25yI think to be an easy going/nice french girl, tidy, clean enough and organised but not obsessed by cleaning. I’m looking for a furnished private room (double bed). I would like to live in the cbd or really close by bike (15min max from the cbd). I could move in on 8th of june (or a bit before) and I'm staying here until middle of october. To know more about my story, I just arrived in Brissy less than 10 days ago from Melbourne and I just got a part time job in New Farm. I'm on 2nd year WHV so my english is good but not perfect as an english person. Also, I'm pets lover so I will be really happy to live with a pet. About my lifestyle: I like to chill at home during weekdays (watching Netflix), could be lazy sometimes and like to have my own space but also I'm always up for a drink and a chat! I love to try new restaurants, coffees or bars and have people at home for diner or just for couple drinks. I’m a backpacker so I like to walk in a city and discover around/travelling and meet new people. As often as possible, I would be in for some weekends away (Noosa, Byron or Gold coast). If you have something for me, I’m in ! Thank you
I'm a fun person to hang out with but I also like to have time to myself. I love baking so chances are if you live with me there will often be some kind of goodies in the kitchen to snack on. I'm a full-time nursing student so I can empathise when exam season is stressing you out, and I'm always down for a wine and a chat.
Hey guyysss I’m a respectful, relaxed person who is looking for a fun-but-calm house. I work in the city 9-5, so keen to live anywhere which gives me a 20min (ish) commute. On the Myers-Briggs test I sat bang in the middle of introvert vs extrovert. So I enjoy being social and having some wines on the couch but also sometimes just want to chill in my room. I have an english staffy who is adorable and very chill.
Hello there, My name is Shafia and I am looking for a room to rent with easy-going and tidy individuals. A little about me: * My current tenancy expires end of July but I'm happy to move around a month or so earlier (negotiable if I find a good fit) * I'm 32, a registered nurse and work in the mental health space. * My main love in life is travelling * Other hobbies and interests- dance, natural health/medicine, comic books and associated movies, GOT, the outdoors, good food and good company. * Personality- I get along easily with most people. I guess you'd call me a mix of intro/extrovert. Have a bit of a wicked sense of humour once you get to know me. I work hard and hence travel hard. * Behaviours- I'm super clean and tidy. Im a bit of a health nut. Practically a non-drinker but enjoy the odd red wine/s. I'm pretty quiet at home and tend to spend most of my time at work, at the gym or with friends on the weekends, but enjoy a good chat and food with housemates too. I will be starting a new job in Sept which will be contract nursing, so I may be away for some periods of time on short contracts. Totally happy to live with any animals in the home and welcome it since I don't have my own due to how much time I spend away. Hope to find some cool people to live with :)
My name is Joss, I am a 27 year old and I have just sold my first house. I have been living here in Bardon for 5 years... I love being close to the city but still having the neighbourhood feeling. I work full time in solar energy during the week so I'm always out and about and busy during the week and I like to relax and play music or hang out with friends on weekends. On Thursdays I play an acoustic set at the YHA Pub and sometimes I spend some time on the Sunshine Coast.
Hey there! :) I work full time M-F in Newstead and I either binge watch, work casually and cook on the weekend. I enjoy cooking and treating myself good food. Although I'm not a clean freak, I can't stand piled up dishes and dirty house. I love to chat but also respectful of people's privacy. I am looking for a place to stay after my lease ends in June. I'm hoping to find a place with similar housemate(s).
Newly arrived to Brisbane from the UK, with the intent to remain in the Brisbane area indefinitely. I’m considerate, approachable, friendly and tidy. I’m new to the area, so it would be great to make some new friends- whether it’s a trip to the pub for a few beers, running, bouldering (my latest addiction), movies or more- I’m pretty sociable.
Hi, I'm Ashley! I work full time at an office, and my partner Chris is a medical student. We are professional, and get to sleep fairly early during the week, but love to have a beer or two on the weekends and have a good chat. We are clean, respectful and quiet. Well okay, we are American, so I guess I'm only loud when I talk. We are from New Jersey and have been living in Brisbane for the past two years. I play guitar and sing, though I'm usually too tired after work and the gym to practice, so it's usually just weekend jams. Chris and I are pretty laid back- we enjoy ending the day with some TV, and we like to explore fun areas around Brisbane on the weekends, when Chris isn't in crazy exam mode. We sometimes have friends over, though is it usually on the weekend, if ever, because of our weekday schedule. We are happy with your guests over (I always love making a new friend!), as long as they are respectful and clean. We are moving back to the states in November, so we are looking for a place to call home for our last four months in Brisbane :)
Hello, I have just moved to Brisbane after a few years living over seas. I work full time as a Project Engineer. I work quite a bit and have a pretty active lifestyle outside of work also. I am very clean and easy going. If you think I would be a good fit for a room please let me know. Thanks
Hey future housemate!!! Looking for somewhere July 20-ish, message me if you think we could be friends! I study science at UQ, in first year and moved from North QLD. I'm looking for somewhere to live from July until the end of the year. I want to choose somewhere that's not only a place to live but with people I can get along with! I'm fairly social, although I'm at uni all day every day, and usually doing something on weekends. Always up for a chat or some drinks though! I would consider myself mature, and I can't deal with mess so you don't have to worry me leaving the kitchen dirty ahaha. I'm looking for somewhere reasonably priced (max $200/week) will bills included. I think I'd get along best with people my age who are studying or in the same situation! Feel free to message me if you think I could get along with you and your housemates!!
I'm a 21 year old Law & Business Uni Student working part-time in Admin. I consider myself a friendly, social, and outgoing person, yet I'm also laid back, can keep to myself, and will respect your personal space. I'm clean, responsible, and organised, so you won't have to worry about my mess lying around. I usually have work and uni throughout the weekdays which keeps me busy, and on weekends I usually stay over at my boyfriends place or am out with friends. Looking to move in with some lovely ladies around mid year (approx. June/July) into inner-city fringe suburbs, as I would like to live closer to Work and Uni which are both in the CBD. Feel free to send me a message and I'd be happy to have a chat and meet up if our requirements match :)
Hi, I'm Sam. I'm a clean and sociable guy from Tasmania. I like basketball, gaming, watching shows, going to the gym, listening to music and hanging out with friends. I'm looking for an affordable share house with high speed internet and clean housemates to become friends with. Happy to team up with like-minded people, or join an existing share house. I have minimal belongings; car, bed, desk & pc. My ideal place would be walking distance to the supermarket and train station. I can move anytime before July 12th. I plan to do volunteer work while transitioning into either employment or study, depending on what my options are once I find a home.
