!Looking for Aug-Nov 2019! I am just a girl from Germany that loves adventures and wants to make some great memories. Currently I still go to school, but since I’m graduating next year I wanna take one year off and spend parts of it in Brisbane to travel and work there. I am a really tidy and clean person and usually get along with pretty much anyone. I love doing sport and spending time out. Furthermore I love to travel and experience new things. I love to meet new people and hope to find somebody out there I can stay with.
I'm clean, orderly and laidback! I love to spend time outdoors in nature whenever I can. I'm into music (guitar player), hiking, climbing and biology! Ideally, I'd love to share a house with other people who are passionate about the outdoors, who I could tag along with in exploring nature around Brisbane! I love dogs but I am allergic (same for cats). I'm currently in my second year of studying bioengineering at McGill University, and will be spending a semester in Brisbane studying at UQ. It's to be noted that I will be arriving straight from NZ so I am unable to show up to inspect. I would like to get a video chat tour of the house prior to confirming anything!
Hi to my future roommate(s) ;) I am David who is studying bachelor of physiotherapy at UQ. I have just finished my first year uni study and will continue my study next year. Because of my busy uni study, I will be at university almost every weekday. Also, I work about 3 times a week and my shifts are most likely in evening, so generally I come back after 9.30 pm. Therefore, we won't see each other that often during weekdays. I am an easy-going, clean, quiet and self-aware type of person. I prefer my roommate(s) is/are also clean and quiet because I still do some studies such as writing essays, finishing assignments when I am in my room. For my hobbies and interests, my favourite is playing the violin. I have just achieved Trinity College diploma for violin last year. As a result, I have to practice violin everyday for an hour. Sports are not my strength but I am pretty good at table tennis, swimming, basketball and footy (really bad at it but really wants to learn to be great). I also love travelling and camping, sometimes I do enjoy walking on the beach near Gold coast on Saturdays. During weekends, as I am most likely free, I am more than happy to have a chat, go clubbing or having a party with roommate(s) to prepare for another busy week of study. My last hobby would be cooking, I always buy fresh ingredients from Coles to make my own lunch and dinner. I am by no means of a good chef but I can ensure to have different dishes each week. You are very welcome to have a taste if my dishes can meet your standard. Anyway, I hope I can hear from you soon and good luck to find your desired rental room. Have a Good Day David
Hi! I'm looking for a nice place to live close to Windsor. I have good references from my past landlords and flatmates and I also always try to keep the house tidy and clean. So you have found a win-win. I'd like to live with people around my age that enjoy outdoor activities, but also video games, long chats and learn new languages (I'm Spanish). I find almost every single geek thing interesting- if your passion isn't on my list I probably will give it a go. I'm really open-minded, sociable, pet-friendly and LGBT friendly. I'm a fan of laughing and having good moments with some wine but I'm not a party person. If you think you drink too much I won't be very keen tbh. I'm open to team-ups and get a whole unit with somebody else. I just need a good quality/reasonable price accommodation to live in the long-term. If it sounds good don't hesitate to send a message. I'm pretty flexible if the offer is good! See ya :)
Hiya! We are a couple looking to move in together somewhere near Brisbane. We are both full-time students with part time jobs, and we will both be working full time over the summer. Sophie is studying software engineering at QUT and works at Boeing Defense Australia, and Hamish is a student nurse from UQ that works at PRN Nursing Agency. We are very clean, quiet, and spend most of our time watching Netflix, or with our families. Sophie is very involved in her uni community and has events every other night, and Hamish works a lot of hours, so we won't be home very often. Generally we will cook once or twice a week and eat the leftovers for the rest of the time, so we won't be using the kitchen much. We are both very open to meet new people, and get on well with people in living situations. Neither of us have any allergies, so if you have some, we are super keen to meet your fur-babies! Sophie has been living out of home for the last year, and been on the lease of her current house since March, so she has experience paying rent on time and managing bills. We can't wait to meet you! Sophie and Hamish :)
Hello! I am looking for a room for rent from February 2019, or someone to start a new share-house with. I am a 21 year old girl from Norway, studying Hotel Management in Bergen. I will be moving to Brisbane for one semester studying abroad at UQ. I am very clean, tidy and easy-going. I like to create a good environment and friendship with the people I live with. When I’m not studying I usually spend my time exploring new places, relaxing at home, or at the gym. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you think we could be a good match!
HII!! I'm Susie and am 18. I am studying and working part time and would love to move out. I am looking for a place with a few other people who are around the same age as me and share the same kind of interests etc. Let me know if you want a new friend to live with (:
Hey all, We’re looking for a 4th member to turn this trio into a …quartet???? We’re all recent graduates and are looking at moving to a property in Paddington or any other inner city suburb as our current lease is ending end of December. 2 of us are law graduates and the other works in fashion. We all love to hang out together e.g. get food, go to gigs and festivals and would love to find a housemate that loves doing what we do. We also enjoy down time (aka netflix binging) and personal space. If you’re a young and chill full-time worker/student this will be the perfect place for you. The max each person would be paying pw would be $180 🙂 If you think we’d get along send us a message and we’d love to meet you!
Hi future flatmates, My partner and I are looking for a temporary room/ studio/whole place for rent between 3 and 6 months, as we are between houses we would ideally like somewhere furnished as all of our belongings are locked away in storage. Were friendly people who keep to ourselves and mind our own business, but we don't mind a little drink here and there either, were very clean and respectful of others. We look forward to hearing from you. Thanks Steph.
I'm a radiographer who's just finished a postgraduate writing course at UQ. I'm friendly, sociable, and easy to get along with. I like to cook, and while I love being around people, I'm perfectly happy entertaining myself. I'm gay, so queer-friendly households are a must.
I'm a full-time worker who's bubbly and out-going! I like to keep my place clean and spend my weekends catching up with friends, drinking too much coffee, having drinks/heading out for a night or doing life admin. I play sport a couple nights a week too. I love a good laugh and I get around a few mid-week wines after work (Winesday anyone?). Just got back from a trip overseas so I'm eager to move out of my parents place ASAP! Looking to be mates and not just strangers living together.
My name is Chris. I’m clean and house-trained. I’m vegan, but am totally respectful of others food preferences. I'm not racist, sexist or homophobic. I’m a virgo, if that’s important. I enjoy meeting new people and good chats over coffee, tea, beer, wine, water (or nothing at all!), though I guess I’m mostly a fairly quiet soul. My first passion is music - going to gigs, listening to it and occasionally making it - I’m particularly into indie, dreampop, rock, post-punk, and electronic music plus the odd guilty-pleasure… I’m always on the lookout for new music to fall in love with. I am an atheist. I love bike riding, and walking I respect the environment, love being in nature and do my best to lessen my impact on the planet. I have an interest in politics and the way the world is run. I love photography - I’m always taking photos of random things. Occasionally the photos aren’t bad. I enjoy reading - some fave authors: Will Self, William Gibson, Kurt Vonnegut, Anna Funder... I do love a good film too (but really, doesn’t pretty much everyone?) My favourite film is "Withnail And I”. I like to think that I have a good sense of humour and love to laugh (I really get off on smart British comedy especially), joke and smile, but am fascinated by the darker aspects of life. I have been working for the last 12 years as a public servant, which sometimes feels longer. I have travelled overseas a fair bit in the last 15 years or so, from living in London, Berlin and Canada, to several holidays in Europe and a trip to India. I love animals - cats in particular I really enjoy playing boardgames, and quite like the occasional computer game too. So obviously I just love hanging out at Netherworld. Love trivia nights too I’m not particularly into sport, but I do enjoy cricket, don’t mind a bit of soccer, and enjoy the odd game of squash with one of my besties too, though we're still a bit hazy on all the rules.... There's probably something really obvious about me that I've left out...
Hi! We're Nikita (23, from Brisbane) and Hilary (24, from Hobart), and are friends from uni who have lived together for the past year. We are looking for one or maybe two other female housemates to team up with and find a house. We're thinking a big ol' Queenslander with plenty of space and a big deck. We both work full time, with Hilary in law, and Nikita works for government (but is going back to uni to do post-grad next year). We have stable jobs and steady income. We're just looking to move as we want to live in a house with more space. Nikita is big on gardening and is looking forward to growing some herbs. We both love to cook a lot, share a wine after a long day or on the weekends and all hang out together, but also equally like to give each other space. We're looking for housemates who are also social but respectful, tidy and easy going. We like to socialise together and are really welcoming to each other's friends in the house. We would prefer no pets. Our lease ends in mid-January so we are keen to start looking ASAP. Please get in touch if we sound like the housemates for you!
I've achieved work as a Junior Interior Designer in Brisbane so looking to make my move up that way. Have great credentials and references for personal life as well as career. I'm a clean, tidy person. Artistic and design orientated. Love to cook and watch movies and very easy going.
Hi, I am Laura, 26 years old and from germany. I am studying biology and came to Brisbane to write my master thesis. I expect to stay around 9 months and I really looking forward to it. I am open minded and hope to meet up with some nice people who can show me australian lifestyle.
Looking to move out of home for the first time. I work part-time in Ashgrove and study full-time at QUT Gardens Point campus. I'm easy to get a long with and love a chat but also appreciate personal space. I like keeping my living spaces clean and minimalist :).
Fairly quiet and enjoy all things sport or music. I have done my fair share of living with others and so I know how! I will be studying, socialising, and working... basically just living my very best life! Currently looking for some cool people to share the journey!! Would be keen to move anytime after New Years, preferably later January.
** No longer looking ** Hey! My name is Emma and I am 28. I will be finishing a Masters Degree at UQ in December. I work quite a bit and find myself very busy during the weeks. I really love staying active, hanging out with my friends and having the odd drink or two on occasion. I am really friendly and outgoing although like to have some time to myself. I am ideally looking for more mature flatmates, perhaps professionals or those doing postgrad study. I am really tidy and respectful of others. I look forward to hearing from you!
I'm a full-time Mechanical Engineer. Enjoy keeping fit and active. Generally always up for a bit of fun and don’t mind a chat and/or a beer. I'm looking for easy-going and clean housemates. Bonus points for bedroom air-conditioning.

Hello! I am Ashwiniy and I am from Singapore. I will be pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Queensland starting Feb 2019. I have been staying on my own since the age of 14 when I first came to Singapore to study, (with relatives and then slowly moved out to be on my own) so I am used to being independent. I am very easygoing and adaptable to any new environment. I like to keep my place clean and tidy. (Kinda helps me to destress too haha!)
