I’m a full time teacher who isn’t home much during the week - I like to get up early Mon-Fri and make the most of a productive work day. Ideally I would be looking for a place within 25 minutes from Mt Ommaney. On the weekends I will either be a complete couch potato or constantly busy. Im looking for somewhere that my little dog Arlo could visit on weekends or stay full time. I’m vegan (happy to share with non vegans) and am passionate about the environment, music and yoga and wellness. I enjoy my own space but also like a friendly house-mate relationship to share a beer or wine with.
I'm one of those quiet, eccentric types with strong opinions. I try not to judge others harshly or take things too seriously - I'm very "live and let live" in a sense. I'm looking for a new house after splitting up (amicably) with my long-term partner and needing a change. After working full-time for 8 years I've been on paid leave from work since January, but after finding a new place to live I'm hoping to return to a 9-to-5 job. Anywho - I've always had my bond returned in full when leaving a property and I'm happy to provide proof of income. I tend to keep to myself, I'm very mindful of being noisy or inconveniencing others and I'm very neat and tidy ^_^ I'd want to move in from the first week of March for at least 6 months though ideally longer. I tend to keep to myself but am always happy to have a chat (preferably about something significant/meaningful, small talk is not my forté haha). Let me know if I sound like someone you could live with ^_^
Hello! My name is Toyo. I'm a Japanese international student studying at QUT. I am 35 years old, but most of my friends tell me 'you look around 26-27 years old! I'm currently looking for a sharehouse with good access to QUT and Southbank, which costs around 160 - 165 per week. This is because I go to the uni but also will join rehearsals of a choir (Brisbane chorale) at the south bank every Wednesday. Brief introduction: I am from one of the suburbs (Hino-shi) in Tokyo. Although I had worked as a system engineer at a Japanese company (Fujifilm) for 5 years in Japan, to develop business and language skills, I study abroad at UQ in Australia from 2014 to 2015. To reach the next goal in my career, I have just come back to Brisbane this year and started my PhD program (advertising) at QUT. My hobby is singing, especially classical singing (e.g., opera arias, Italian cultural songs). I was a choir member of Brisbane Chorale between 2014 and 2015, and I will join the choir later on. :) . I also like some pops songs like Billy Joel, Eagles, Elton John etc. I believe that I am responsible and not like a typical shy Japanese guy. I like to be socialised with people (but not too much haha) Thank you for reading this text by the end. ;) Looking forward to receiving your message. Best regards, Toyo
Hi! I'm a film student at Griffith University and a freelance photographer based in Brisbane. I'm the quiet/creative type, but I don't mind having a drink or two with my housemates!
Bonjour! We are an Australian and French couple seeking 2 other people to team up with for a very nice house in West End, Highgate Hill or Milton. Shelby works at a yoga studio and Félix is a Freelance Digital Designer. We are down to earth, relaxed, respectful, positive and open minded, active (yoga, biking, skating, hiking), creative (art, photography, design), into music and gigs and also huge animal lovers. 🌱 We would really love to create a friendly vegan/veg share house with those that are more concerned and passionate about ethical and sustainable living.
Hi my name is Gabby and I'm 24 years old. I'm moving inter state from Wollongong up to Brisbane. I'll be working full time. I love dogs, food, exercising, using a keep cup and trashy T.V. I'm looking to live with like minded people who also work full time and enjoy relaxing after work or on the weekends and having a chat. I'm clean and tidy, but not the dishwasher needs to be emptied right now crazy. I enjoy a social wine and cooking for my roommates. I've lived out of home since I was 18 so I've had plenty of experience living with others
I am very easy going and clean. I like taking care of my space environment. Also, I am very mindful of my surroundings and respect whoever I live with.

Hey I'm Lauren, I'm 25 years old and I am just about to start studying occupational therapy at ACU. I currently work part time as an admin clerk and in my spare time I enjoy doing things outdoors, exercising, going to the beach, hanging out with friends and are always up for some social drinks. I am clean and tidy, always pay bills on time and respect peoples privacy and space. With this said, I want to live in a house that feels like a home where people don't act like strangers and hibernate in their rooms all day.
**** PENDING AGREEMENT **** G’day, My name is Emma and what makes me great to live with is that I’m very considerate of other people, love my own space and company, am extremely easygoing, don’t make a mess that I don’t also promptly clean up (the former happens very infrequently) and am so busy working in my full time job and part time business along with my hectic social life and busy family life I don’t have time to scratch myself. I am going overseas for two months at the end of August which is only reason that six months works for me as a living arrangement. In case you were wondering I love to cook (& of course eat), am a massive movie buff and love a quiet night in occasionally however my loved ones are hugely important to me and so I spend a lot of time seeing them. My move in date is the 1st of March as my lease expires then. I must have off street parking, would prefer my own bathroom and living with one other person is my preference in an apartment of some sort. My ideal housemate I would be a non-smoker who wishes to do everything above board as I do with the RTA that genuinely treats me with the same respect that I will always endeavour to treat them with. Please feel free to get in touch via either this website or my mobile as soon as you can as I would like something sorted out this week if possible? I look forward to meeting you and seeing your lovely home. Have a great day. Emma 😃
Heya, I'm Natalie. I'm a 23 year old recent law grad working full-time in a firm in the city. I'm friendly and easy going - always happy for a chat over a drink, but I do like time to myself so will definitely respect other people's time and space. I am looking for a modern place near the city (preferably near a train line). Feel free to message me if you think we would be a good fit or if you have any questions :)
Hi ! I'm Clémence, a French student in Biology ! I'll spend 3 months in Brisbane for an internship. I'm looking forward to discovering Australia and meeting new people ! I'm easy-going, I love sport (especially orienteering), travelling, watching tv shows, hanging out with my friends..... Well, a lot of things actually! I already live in a shared house, so I'm used to be clean and tidy, I also cook pretty good ! So if you have a private room for me near Mater Research (or not too far) available for 3 months beginning end of May, just let me know ! :) PS: I'll have a friend of mine who will also do her internship in Brisbane, so if there are 2 private rooms available in the same share house, for the same period, it could be great !
Hiya! I'm a Scottish -Spanish international student at Queensland University doing my BSc in Marine Biology. I am looking for a place to rent for the academic year and nice people to hang out and chill with at home with. I love the Ocean and everything about it! I usually work in my spare time, but I'm looking forward to exploring Australia! I currently work in a snowboard shop fixing skiis and boards (so I might need to change profession!). I'm a qualified dive guide and would love to share what I know about the underwater world with anyone willing to learn:) Just an all round happy person with lots of curiosity!
I'm a quiet person but do enjoy being surrounded by positive, happy people. I am very clean/neat and like to cook, go to the gym, read, and listen to music. I am studying Psychological Science at UQ and work weekends as a barista. I am very serious about my study and as such I like the places I live to be peaceful and relaxing.
I bring more than ten years of experience in sharing homes with other people - including babies and kids. I would describe myself as a calm & respectful yet open minded and communicative person with a need for my own time and space. Home to me means coziness, cooking (and sharing) vegan meals, tidiness and an open-minded atmosphere.
I'm fairly easy going, I look after myself and I'm always willing to help others. I mostly keep to myself and play video games, go to the gym, eat, and work (Rinse and repeat, that's me) I love a good drink or two and I most of the time I'm happy to chat away :) (P.S. I'm on the right of my photo)
Hi all! I'm Eden, a 20y/o nursing student at UQ. I've lived in sharehouses for two years now and have never been late with rent or bills. I'm always keen to help out around the place and like to keep things tidy. I'm pretty social and love a good chat, however also appreciate some time to chill out. I get along with pretty much everyone and am very easy-going and relaxed, but also well-organised and respectful. I love a good night out but like to keep pretty balanced throughout the week. Am a huge fan of indoor plants and would love to live in a vibey home with like-minded people. Hit me up if you reckon I'd be a good addition to your house, or if you want to know anything else about me!
I've been living overseas for 5+ years, but ready to move back to brisbane now. I'm a freelance editor (books, articles, etc.) but I'll probably find other part-time work as well, as well as volunteer work (with the homeless) and various other things to do. I'm 28, non-smoker, non-annoying.
Hi, I'm Bec! I'm a freelance editor (I work from home) in my honours year of psyc at UQ. I volunteer as the treasurer for a student society and as an LGBT peer support counsellor. I’m often home, but am usually working at home. I mostly keep to myself but am happy to be friends and have a chat! I have mobility issues due to chronic illness, so am avoiding internal stairs. I’m medically heat intolerant (nightmarish) so would love somewhere with good airflow/air con/etc. I also have plant children. I love them, even though they don't love me rn. I'd ideally only like to live with one other person (or a granny flat/studio), a female if poss. Also, I spend a lot of time with my girlfriend and talk about her lots. I flag that I’m queer bc it makes it easier for someone to just move past my listing if need be. So. That’s me!
Professional quiet living mature woman working in Brisbane Monday to Thursday weekly, home is Tweed Heads Friday-Sunday. Sunny, happy nature not interested in mid week parties, just looking for an after work sanctuary and my own room and bathroom. Work and catching up with family and friends for a quiet restaurant meal some evenings is my focus while in town.
I currently work at UQ and Indooroopilly shopping centre both part time, I enjoy getting out and about during my days off preferably to the beach or out for a hike. I'm looking for a roommate or two that enjoy dinners and tv nights together to give the place a really homly vibe but I am also respectful of quiet time to ourselves. My current lease end around mid-May but I can be flexible with this for the right people/location. I have some living room and kitchen furniture currently but am happy to invest in whatever is still required.
