Hi guys! We are looking for another person or a couple to join us at our place in Toowong! You will have your own room and the main bathroom to yourself. It is a 2 story townhouse with lots of room! We will be moving in on the 25th Jan. I work full-time in the city and Nat is in her final year of uni at UQ, though will be on placement for the first half of the year. We are really looking for somebody that may not have a lot as we have a TV, Xbox, Stan, Netflix, Washing Machine, Couches, Outdoor setting, BBQ and everything you need for a kitchen. So if you need a hand and don't have much we can help you out, though if you do have stuff we can work something out! You will probably not see us much during the week as we both have busy schedules with work/placement but we are also heavily involved with AFL at UQ. If you are slightly interested let us know and we can send you a link to the place and more information!
I work Mon-Fri full time in the city. Out a few nights a week for various hobbies. I'm considerate, reliable, tidy and friendly. Flexible with move dates. I don't mind too much where the place is as long as there is good access with public transport to the cbd for work. I'm more interested in finding the right fit in terms of the place, price and flatmates. I'm allergic to cats. Dogs are great though. Please note I have a car so prefer if off-street parking available (also don't mind on street parking as long as it is available)
My name is Alex. I'm a 20 year old female moving to Brisbane from Victoria with my partner Ryan, a 20 year old male. We are both taking a working gap year this year as we establish ourselves in Brisbane. I work as a personal care assistant in aged care while Ryan works in retail. We are clean, responsible and quiet young adults, however we're both very friendly and love to have a chat.
Im currently studying engineering and physics at QUT. Im looking for part-time work at the moment to fill in the spare time. Been share housing in brisbane for 7 years, and know the ins and outs. I tend to keep to myself, but will throw abit of banter here and there. Love my movies and games, and stressing about Uni assignments.
Hello, Clean, tidy, police check, ref, etc. Respect personal space and belongings, will share home and garden jobs, buy own food and consumables. I have downsized and wont be bringing much or taking up much room. Happy to have children and pets around. No debts, no drugs clear Tika report.
Hi I'm 28 and work full time in the city. I live a pretty active lifestyle love healthy eating, yoga and being outdoors. Very mindful of others, clean and enjoy a shared dinner and the occasional glass of wine. Ideally, I'm looking to move in with someone with a similar mindset. If this sounds like a good fit to you please feel free to send me a message. Looking at places in New Farm, Paddington, Kangaroo Point, East Brisbane or Westend but I am flexible if it is the right fit.
Hi my name is Bailey, I'm 19 and Australian born and bred. I'm an aspiring musician looking to study music at Tafe. I play the drums and keyboard but have headphones and an electronic drum kit so noise is no worry. Im used to the sharehouse lifestyle, I mostly keep to myself but do enjoy being social once I get to know my roommates. In previous housing I have always paid rent on time and in full without problems and this will continue. I enjoy listening to music but am respectful of noise and others wishes.
Hello lovelies! My name is Steavi-lei and I am currently working full time for a boutique architecture firm within Brisbane City as well as free lance on the side. I’m 24 soon to be 25 and also currently live in the city. Although I absolutely love having my own apartment in the city and the freedom, I am hoping to eventually study as well as travel more and start another side business. Meaning I would like to lower my living costs down and save some more $$$. Few fun facts about me: - I can cook (I think) - Am social but also happy to hide away and binge a show in my room - I train at Snap Fitness - Know how to clean after oneself - I freelance so some weekends I may be away - I thought I had a green thumb until I killed the office plants (will try my best) - Dating life is semi non existent and when it is you can laugh at my horrendous tinder dates - I have a fish named Henry 🐟.... And my friends are hot (if this is of any advantage). 10/10 roommate, would recommend. Hope to hear from you soon :) xo
Australian and French couple. Shelby works at a yoga studio and Felix is a Digital Designer. We are easy going and open minded, active (yoga, biking, skating, hiking, traveling), creative (art, photography, design), into music and gigs and also huge animal lovers. Very tidy and considerate, we are seeking for a veg house (preferably vegan) with nice housemates or keen to team up with other vegans to potentially start one.
Hey! I’m Ned, a down to earth, easy going, open minded guy. I work full time from monday to friday, and try to stay fit in the afternoons. Fairly routine orientated during the week but on weekends you can usually find me riding, hiking, enjoying a drink or just straight up relaxing. Slightly introverted but don’t mind partying every now and then. Originally from Coffs Harbour, I’ve been in Brisbane for roughly 1 year now. I’ve been told that I’m pretty cruisy to live with, I always clean up after myself and pull my weight around the place. My only major requirement is somewhere under cover to park my road bike such as a garage, carport, etc. I’m currently living with two friends, but they have both just recently acquired love interests who are here a lot and the place is becoming cramped. Just chasing a change and bit more space really. Cheers!
Canadian looking to setup shop in Brisbane for a while. Actively looking for work in Brisbane as well. I'm a social person and always up for anything fun. Clean, tidy, and respectful of people's personal space.
We are both from Northern Ireland, 20 minutes outside of Belfast. We arrived here in Australia at the end of November past and we are here for a year. We are currently staying in the Brisbane Skytower until Friday the 25th of January and this is when we would like to move into somewhere. I Molly am currently in the process going for interviews for cafe and hospitality work, my boyfriend levi has just got a job doing barbering. We are a really friendly couple, super clean, we aren't party animals but do like do have the odd drink now and again, we love going for a swim or doing any other outdoor activities. We would love to find somewhere as soon as possible. Dont be afraid to give us a message and we will reply when we can! :)
Brock (20), Chelsea (20) and I (Hannah, 19) are all uni students looking to team up with a few other girls/ guys to make a house of 4-5. We're all very relaxed people, are easy to get along with and always down for a chat. We're looking for likeminded people who are social and down for a laugh over a few casual drinks at the end of the day but are also respectful of personal space and happy to contribute to keeping a clean house. We'd love for it to be a place where we can all have friends over occasionally, hang out and just have general good vibes. We're wanting to move in ideally mid Feb. Preferably want to be in the Indooroopilly, Toowong, etc. or Woolloongabba, Dutton Park area but again are open about it. We look forward to hearing from you, let us know what you think/ if you have any questions. Cheers, Brock, Hannah and Chelsea
Hello! My name is Helen. I'm looking to move out in early February. Im 24 and in my 3rd year of a Speech Path degree at UQ. Im pretty active and like to go to the gym or for a run. I like to be able to relax and chill by myself at home but also up for a chat.
I am very clean with the common areas. I usually clean as I go. If I’m busy the maximum time my dishes will be at the sink is for 1 day. If people want to be social I’ll happily join in. I like making friends. I am a deli assistant, sometimes I bring home a few things from the deli that everyone can enjoy. I am from Cairns (North QLD) I am pretty good with the heat so I won’t be killing the air con during the summer but I do get pretty cold around winter time. I love going on adventures, hiking, swimming (even though I’m bad at it) and dancing with friends.
Hi, My name is Hannah. I am 28 years old and studying nutrition and dietetics full time at QUT. I have been living in Toowong for the past year, however my flatmate recently got engaged and is looking to move in with her new fiancé 😊 I love Toowong and would be hoping to stay somewhere near the area, or closer to QUT Kelvin Grove campus. I am friendly, quiet and clean. I like my own space but also like a cuppa and a chat or a drink on the weekend. I am hoping to find a place any time between now and the 20th of February. Hope to hear from you soon 😊 Hannah.
To unique individuals, I want to team up for accommodation i have found thats 300m from Darra train station. Its a nice set up. Price is $145 per week and includes quality things. Read my other ad to know more. About me : I’ve been away from all things, sleeping in my car and living near the beach from time to time, up the coast to my folks and back. Been doing most of that for the past few years. The new years resolution is to settle down. I am a dumpster diver and like things with the land. An avid recyclist, the bottles for cash exchange is just a few minutes drive, up the road. Where am I going? I’m not sure if I will leave Darra any time soon. Especially if i get people that can accept my few rules living with me. Darra is quite, safe and greeny but is accesible to many places via public transport frequently. Like i said, i want to stay for at least a few years. However I’ll be hitting on going to do adventures in my mighty Kia, travelling where ever it takes me. If i get the correct people, then i can do that sooner. I am not totally dependent however and that i need to learn how to do some basics. A vegan shop used to sell food at corinda but it no longer does and my dumpster diving hide-out totally closed down. So if you know how to cook up a healthy meal, preferably semi vegan / vegetarian and don't mind me contributing to your cooking, that would be ideal. I also want to spend 6 months totally away so i need a cleaning plan or somone that will keep the premises tidy and un-damaged. Its been memorable and i really am hoping this gets to you, unique individual. My aim is to not reach the common attainment but appreciate the simple things in life and understand and accept the fact that i don't really know where im going, though now is the time i got to be willing to try a little harder so all things that when i go back thinking ( back then ) , i want to accomplish them ( today ). I always appreciate the nature side of things and believe we need to think of our foot-print instead of just always money. Probably the most important thing I’ve learned so far is that the life we live is generated by ourselves - the things we do governs how we become. There’s more to life than business and money, we should live our lives whilst we have the chance. Like taking time out from the digital distortion, use our brain and hands to make things. We start to work and do businesses to enable nomadic lifestyles, then somehow get caught up trying to earn more, more - more - which happens easily when surrounded by other business people. You don't need to be working if your to stay here or be something for acceptance. I sometimes go back to centre-link in between finding jobs and i manage to always be ahead of my rent. You will need to pay a 2 weeks bond ( 2 × $145 ) plus 2 weeks in advance & you either keep paying weekly or don't pay for 2 weeks and your advance gets used up. Thanks for reading a bit about me, the people im seeking and the basics of the place. For more detailed on the property, view my other listing. Have a good one.
I'm clean, I keep to myself but am always down for a wine and a chat after work. I can cook and enjoy putting on a nice spread. I work full time in the CBD and after work you'll find me at the gym. On my weekends and spare time I am out and about going for mountain climbs, going to the beach, brunching at a new cafe and catching up with family and friends.
Hello ! I am Roberta, I am 19 years old and I come from Italy; I am a neat and usually quiet girl. I'm looking for a quiet and comfortable place to stay, but I would not mind making new friends at all. My trip is not organized in detail, but I think I want to stop in Brisbane for a maximum of 1/2 months, then I would like to move to some other city (By the way, I will be happy to receive any advice! In exchange I could teach you some Italian recipes, even if cooking is not really my talent ahah)
I'm very chilled and easy to get along with, clean, tidy and a non smoker. I'm happy, positive and love being outdoors. I run my own business and paid acting work as well as drive Uber. I'm a very social person and enjoy a wine every now and then. I'd love to live somewhere with a like minded happy person.
Starting school in UQ for my postgraduate study coming February. Looking for a place to stay in the vicinity of the university. I am from India but I do speak English, quite fluently :D. I'm a clean and tidy individual who has lived in shared apartments before. Huge football (soccer) fan with a love for singing, running and bingeing on TV shows and movies. My ideal scenario is one or two flatmates, preferably UQ students. Looking forward to having a great time in Brisbane.
