I will be joining UQ as a Ph.D. student on Oct 2nd. I will be working most of my time. I am a neat and tidy person who like things to be organized. I am not a smoker and prefer a flatmate who won't smoke, although smoking outside is cool. I am not a party person but would love to grab a beer sometimes. I don't mind pets also. I like binge watching series, reading books, and playing badminton or basketball. I would love to try out surfing and it would be awesome if my flatmate has some idea about it (and teach me). I would prefer a single room in a shared house or apartment with other shared amenities. Looking for something within 150-200 $, and with easy transportation to UQ.
Hi there, i'm currently just working full time getting back to a more normal life after having spent the last year and a half in North America. I'm easy going, love to cook and am down for a drink. Very clean housemate with shared spaces, and probably wont be up too late as I work mornings. Love a bit of banter but also respect peoples needs for personal space. Cheers, Libby
I'm an outgoing, friendly person. Very easy going and respect others. Don't mind a chat in the morning and around the common areas. I'm from Canada, Toronto here to complete my Masters in Physiotherapy degree, my studies are my #1 priority. I love to work out, keep active and would love a morning/evening jogging housemate :)
Hi my name is Margaux, 20 years old and work part time. Very social and easy to get along with, always up for a chat but will rarely be home. I work in hospitality (night shift) but noise during the day doesn't really bother me.
I am from Argentina, studying full time architecture QUT and working part time as well. I am an easy going person with a good sense of humour. love a good chat, I am friendly and outgoing. I really enjoy talking to my flatmates and preparing meals together, but I also like to have my time alone and respect the time and privacy of others. As for round the house I am clean and a respectful person.I want to live with people close to my age so that we're on the same page. I don't have pets but If you do I love animals. I am looking for a place to really feel home. I am looking for accommodation for 9-10 months Please contact me if you want to hear more, if it seems like a good match - and if you are renting out a room! :) Cheers ;) Cindy
Hi there, I'm an outgoing, 27 year good girl from Germany and working currently full time in Graceville. Spend a lot of time travelling and looking for a nice place to stay the next 2-3 months 😊 I'm doing a lot of sports specially crossfit, love cooking, red wine and beer and good conversation. Happy to meet you 😊
I'm moving from Melbourne to come and study at UQ. In my free time I like to skateboard, play video games, and I'm going to learn how to surf before I move up. I'm planning to move in come January.
My name is Nick, I'm a mechanical engineer from Mexico City studying my masters degree on environmental management at The University of Queensland. Living with me: I'm a nice, respectful, easygoing guy, who likes to live in a clean and tidy place. I know how to cook and clean, I like to party but I'm always super respectful of other people and their need for a calm environment (for studying or else), and therefor expect the same kindness in return. I love to dive and freedive, specially with sharks, photography, longboarding, and sports in general. I would love to have flatmates that would also like this activities, but also very interested in discovering new activities and hobbies.
Hi I'm Jake, full time Electrician, part time pilot. Originally from the country, been in Brisbane for just over 8 months and love it. Neat and tidy, especially in the kitchen because i love to cook. I'm very relaxed and easy going, love a beer and a chat. Very social, I like to get out and about and go to gigs or sporting events, really like to have people around me. I work away a lot too so i'm not home a great deal. I surf most w.e.s and play touch through the week, play golf when ever i can. I'm sports mad. I would really like to live with people who i'd want to hang out with even if we didn't live under the same roof. Friends more than housemates would be a better description so location and type of accommodation doesn't bother me a great deal, more who i'm going to sit on the lounge with. I do smoke but i'm trying to quit again so hopefully it sticks this time, very respectful smoker though, i'll walk a block just so you don't have to smell it I'm pretty much your typical 28 yr old single country tradie, bit of an occa but my mates would say I'm a bit of hipster. anyway i look forward to hearing from you! Cheers Jake
I'm clean, friendly and easy going. Plus I come with a super awesome dog! I'm currently studying marine science at UQ as an international student, I just moved here from Hawaii. Hi everyone! I’m planning on moving to Brissy from Sydney at the beginning of next year to continue my studies. I’m looking at areas close to UQ so I can just walk/catch public transport. I have a lot of family on the Sunshine Coast so some weekends would be spent with them. I’m a pretty easy going person! I love spending my time outdoors in the sun, but I also don’t mind a lazy day inside watching Netflix! I’m quite spontaneous and enjoy travelling and exploring new places.
I'm a very clean and tidy girl, also very mature, friendly, respectful and outgoing. Probably won't be home much on weekends either I would really love to find a place walking distance to public transport, as well as close to supermarket
Hi everyone. I am hoping to move to Brisbane from Newcastle in November for Uni at the beginning of next year. I am currently studying teaching here in Newcastle but will be transferring. I went to boarding school for 6 years and have lived out of home since finishing (5 years ago) so am very respectful of peoples personal space and belongings and keeping common areas neat and tidy. I am friendly and enjoy living with people who can be friends as well as house mates :) Looking to move in with people of similar age as I am going to be new to Brisbane and would love to make some friends. I am not a huge drinker anymore but don't mind a couple on days off work or study. Please let me know if you have a room available
Hello, I'm Jiyun from South Korea. Currently I'm a barista and am going to Brisbane on the 13/10 I'm looking for a private room with an ensuit or own bathroom would be preferable, but I don't mind sharing a bathroom with one other person. My moving date is 16/10, but it can be flexible. About myself I have had an experience of a flat/house share in Dublin for 3 months. I'm tidy. Actually I enjoy cleaning my own area. No matter how busy I am in the morning I always make my bed before going to work. I'm basically a quiet person but if you want to hang out with me I'll gladly join you. Also I respect others privacy. Hope I get a message from you! Cheers :) P.S. It's okay if you own a dog or a cat. I like them both and I had a dog 6 years ago. P.P.S If the room is loacated in Zone 1 and close to the train station it would be great.
Very friendly couple who are clean and tidy, sociable, and considerate. We are easy going and get along very well with most people. We have lived in sharehouses before and have a good rental history. Tim has also previously managed a six-bedroom house. We're not really party people but like to have a friend over now and then and like good conversation. I think we strike a good balance between being social and having space. Tim is a full-time software developer and Sumona is a primary school teacher and tutor.
