Hey guys, I am looking for a room somewhere close to the city or near a bike-way. I work full-time, like to keep fit and am tidy so I shouldn't be too much of a hassle. I can either come with furniture or without - let me know. I just bought a car so am not keen for it to be sitting on the road, therefore, I am looking for a place with off street parking. If you are looking for someone easy going please give me a shout, thanks!
Just moved to Brisbane after working in Sydney for two and half month and traveling the whole East Coast. Currently looking for a job and a house to live in Brisbane. I don't smoke, so prefer non-smoker. Originally from Korea and came to AU three and half months ago.
I study media and communications full-time at QUT Kelvin Grove and work as a casual AV technician setting up corporate events for Staging Connections. I've currently been living in a share house for the last 3 years and two months. I know how to tidy up after myself, the importance of a friendly chat and when to give others some space. I like to cook at home as often as possible, ideally in a vegetarian household, but this isn't always possible. I would like to play more music at home and be able to set up a guitar / bass guitar in a corner of the house somewhere. I like watching the news, current affairs, documentaries, and on-line TV series (Love The Handmaid's Tale) and currently into World Cup soccer. In the past I've organised a small Game Of Thrones night so we could watch the latest episode but also to bring people together. I like to attend live music jams, swim, do yoga in the park and meditate at home on a regular basis.
Hi! My name is Corey, and while I'm from the US, I'm currently completing my Masters degree in the Netherlands. I will be a visiting researcher at UQ for 3-4 months starting at the beginning of August, and am looking for a nice place to stay while I'm there! I'm a very clean and social person, and would love to be part of a house of similar people! My main interests and hobbies are sports and anything outdoors related, but I especially enjoy volleyball, snowboarding, and hiking. However, I'm open to new experiences, and am looking to pick up a new hobby during my time in Brisbane! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
My name is Rachel, I’m 25 and I work full time. I’m the kind of roommate that’s happy to have a chat but also appreciates a bit of space every now and again. I’m a bit of a homebody but also am someone who loves to go out for dinner and drinks to try something new. I like to keep the place clean and tidy and sometimes like to invite friends over for a drink and a movie.
I would love to spend the next months as an internation student from Austria with you. I am currently studying economics and doing part of my postgraduate programm @ UQ. I am looking forward to Brisbane and Australia. I would love to see different things in Australia
Hey, My name is Sophie, I am 22 and completely my final year in a dual degree of business management/ commerce at UQ. I just completed my semester abroad in Amsterdam and am needing somewhere close to uni to live.
I am Eric, a Chinese Kiwi relocating to Brisbane and currently looking for my long term accommodation.(try 3 months first then would like to renew for longer term)（prefer no more than 3 flatmates and within 30 mins public transport to CBD) I am an IT guy, has been working across multiple industries such as banking, search engine and tertiary education, very friendly , tidy and respectful. I enjoy travelling, music, science fiction, badminton and gym. Looking forward to meeting you and wish we can be friends and potentially flatmates. Welcome to message me or we can have a call. Thanks. Cheers, Eric
I'm originally from NZ, and have been in Brisbane for five years now. I have spent many years in shared houses, so know the drill in terms of how to live with others. I'm clean, tidy, respectful of others and their space. I like to keep fit, and hit the gym most nights after work. I like to get out and about in the weekend, although I'm definitely not a party animal. I have my own bedroom furniture, and a lot of kitchen stuff. I also have my own washing machine. I have a few boxes of stuff, so ideally need access to storage.
We are both architects and would like to live the aussie experience. Very extrovert couple that loves meeting new people. We both love any kind of sport and we enjoy a beer, wine.. a good chat with people. We are both open-minded but very clean and tidy and we expect the same of our flatmates. In need of a short term place where to stay before leaving for the farm work to the north. Looking forward to meet you :D
I´m from Norway, coming to Brisbane to study for a semester. I´m looking forward to meeting new people and experience the country and I hope to find some great people to live with. I believe I'm easy to live with, and that i will do my share to make the place nice.
Hey I'm Sara. I'm new to Brisbane, will further my studies at QUT in Bachelor of Business. Looking for a place that would be easy for me to commute to uni everyday.Hit me up if you any place available. I like to chill and super friendly :)
Hey, I’m a high-school graduate who’s currently taking a gap year to find work before I go to university next year. I’d consider myself a clean person, although my room can sometimes end up a little cluttered. Most of the time I spend at home is in my room. I likely won’t have many people over, and I tend to stick to myself, doing things like gaming and reading. That doesn’t mean I’m opposed to spending time with roommates however.
I am a very calm person. I am considered myself happy and easy to live with. I don’t like problems :) I don’t smoke, I like exercising and reading. I am very tidy and organised, I like socialising but I am not big fan of having parties at home. I have problems to sleep so a calm place is important to me. I am from Colombia and came to Australia 5 years ago. I work full time and my workplace is in the city so I am looking for something near by!
Engineering student from UBC Vancouver, working and travelling in Australia for a year. I make videos sometimes. Daily fitness activities include swimming, volleyball, gymming. I enjoy nights out but an evening of just board games, movies and conversation at home is my type of thing as well. Mostly an early bird, but that fluctuates with my stress level. I also love to cook so there's that. Looking for a gym buddy, travel pal, or just somebody that matches my level of quirkiness.
I'm pretty easy going, I'll generally be working or hanging about with friends or chilling out watching movies. I'm pretty clean and pretty social I'd like to think, always up for a chat, a bev or a feed. I'll be moving back to Brissy from the Northern Territory and looking forward to being back in Queensland.
Hi, I'm Aisha and I'm 28 years old. I'll be moving from the States to attend UQ for graduate school in July. I'm clean, sociable, but prefer my own space from time to time. Message me :)
Easygoing, respectful, tidy but not fastidious. Have sharehoused for a long time so I know the drill. Not much of a partier but social and friendly. Happy to keep to myself but always up for a chat.
Hi, I'm Dan. I'm a 37 year old single gay guy. I recently moved back to Brisbane after living in Sydney for a while. I'm a bubbly, optomistic guy. I'm not a party animal, but love a glass of red. I'm very clean too. I actually love cleaning. Why i don't know. lol. I lived in Canada and NYC for almost 10 years so i have a kind of aussie / canadian accent apparently. Would love an ensuite, but totally open to the right place with the right flatmate. First world problems right... :) I would love to live with someone who is more extroverted than introverted, someone after a friend more than just sharing a living space together. I'm happy and chatty most of the time, and like similiar. I like optomists, rather than pesimists. Idea of the perfect flatmate: Happy, says " How you doing? ", loves to catch up and chat the end of the day, watch a movie together, not into drugs at all ( I never seen illicit drugs do anything good for anyone ) and loves a glass of red. Non judgemental and gay friendly. Someone who supports the gay community, even better! If you love Rupaul's Drag Race, i will love you. :) - I don't hook up much, maybe once in 3 months - but you would be cool that i'm getting laid and visa versa. lol. Some gay guys can be really snooty and uptight which i dislike. Try living with gay guys in Sydney - you leave one fork in the sink and they need to take a Valium to calm down. Worst flatmate for me: Complete gamers, introverted and shy, rude and just says " Hi " once a day and nothing else, does everything to excess - if your a gay guy that must drink 2 bottles of wine and get smashed every time you have a drink and stumble in at 7am, good for you, but at 37, i'm a little passed that. No judgement - I was like that in my 20's, but not now.
Hello my name is Deb, easy going, clean and tidy and young at heart. I have two beautiful fur Kidz, one a lovable Maltese dog and the other a sooky Rag doll cat, both well behaved. They sleep in my room at night and during the day they are outside or in my bed sleeping or exploring. I have my own bedroom furniture and would need a room 4 x 3.5 at least. I also have a large refrigerator, washing machine and commercial treadmill which I can contribute to the household. I have stable work, pay bills on time and into healthy living with a positive outlook on life. I am interested in living in a NON SMOKING home with clean and respectful house mates who like to live in a homely feel but like their own space as well. Not into living in a Home and Beautiful picturesque house, want a home. I enjoy getting out and about on weekends, after work I gym then come home and chill with the fur kidz in my room and watch some TV, I like chilling with housemates too. I am interested in teaming up with two other like minded people. It is important for me to have a well fenced yard as I don't do indoor litter trays, the fur kidz are kept well groomed, get along with other pets and I clean up after them. If you think you would be interested in teaming up you can message or call me, cheers Deb
